Perfect for our Wedding Block!
The Hilton Short Hills is a preferred hotel partner with our venue (Crystal Plaza) but if you are getting married anywhere in the area I would highly recommend! The rooms were spacious & clean. Parking available on-site for our guests' convenience. Our guests loved gathering in the bar at night & enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant the morning after as well. Victoria & her team were fantastic to work with in the months leading up to the wedding as well! -

April 2025 Wedding At The Hilton Short Hills
The team at the Hilton Short Hills was absolutely amazing to work with throughout our wedding planning process and on our special day. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was so helpful and they were quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and the food was incredible - our guests are still raving about it! Yara Samad in particular was such a huge help, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and stress-free on our wedding day. She really put in so much effort to make our day truly special. We could not have asked for a better venue and team to celebrate our marriage with. We highly recommend the Hilton Short Hills to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding experience. -

I used this as my wedding block, and we used the ready to get ready the morning of the wedding!
This hotel was amazing! Very clean, and we got 2 free nights in a king suite due to the amount of rooms we had booked! It helped a lot hen planning where to get ready! The rooms are spacious, and they even gave us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries after we were married! We LOVED working with Victoria! -

Amazing Service
My husband and I reserved our wedding block at The Hilton Short Hills for our wedding at The Park Savoy Estate. First off, The Hilton Short Hills is absolutely beautiful and working with the sales manager, Victoria B., was a breeze. Victoria is so kind, communicative, and goes above and beyond for her couples. My husband and I cannot speak more highly of Victoria and all of the staff at the Hilton Short Hills.-

Fall Wedding
Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!-

Great experience!
The whole team at the Hilton Short Hills was a pleasure to work with! We used the Hilton Short Hills for our wedding weekend – room block (~50 rooms), breakfast and after-party. It is a very well-operated hotel - clean, comfortable, well-staffed. The sales manager made the reservation process so easy, and the catering manager was very helpful with arranging the space and menu for the breakfast and after-party. Both were very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The Hilton Short Hills services numerous weddings and other functions so they really have all the kinks worked out. They made our wedding weekend seamless! Thank you Hilton Short Hills team! -

Excellent hotel
On the weekend of August 23-25, 2024 we used the Hilton at Short Hills for my daughters wedding. All through the process of planning , Victoria was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a block of rooms for our guests. My daughter and her husband earned two free night because we reached the amount of rooms . Shuttles were provided for free from the hotel to venue and back. That was a huge plus and it went very smoothly. Some guest booked after the block due date and they were still able to get the price. We were very happy withe the hotel room also. An excellent experience. -

Hilton Short Hills is wonderful!
The Hilton Short Hills was the perfect Hotel venue for our wedding weekend and for our guests! We were able to tour the property quickly and promptly; On our tour we were very impressed with the staff, the efficiency and organization, in addition to the cleanliness and overall esthetic of the hotel and amenities. We knew this would be the right place for our wedding weekend, and was by far a better option than any of the other hotels in the area.
We specifically loved working with Victoria. She is very polite, efficient, quick to respond to emails and made wedding stress much easier on us. She was able to help us arrange a free shuttle for our guests to the wedding venue and reception. She also helped us book a goodbye breakfast the next day for our guests.
We also loved staying there as a newly married couple and had a great time hosting our after party in their downstairs bar. This was a FUN, YOUNG, vibrant venue - and also very affordable; Setting up our room block was easy thanks to the venue! -

Amazing Wedding with Short Hills Hilton
Our wedding guests were treated extremely well at the Short Hills Hilton. Our guests could not have had a better experience. My husband and I also spent our wedding night in a suite. It was truly perfect and we could not be more pleased with the high quality of this hotel -

You can't beat these prices during a wedding weekend. The staff was professional, Courteous, attentive, and accommodating to my guests keep in mind three other weddings were taking place there that same weekend.
The hotel /resort was huge, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I felt safe.
They had a section for late fruits, snacks and drinks.
They have a lot different rooms to accommodate your personal and professional needs
The bridal shower was beautiful. They have an outside sitting area to have a Picnic.
I look forward to staying again.
Victoria and Yara followed up with me before the wedding, durning the wedding and after the wedding checking on me to make sure everything was okay.

Wonderful Wedding!
I had my wedding at Hilton Short Hills in October 2023, and it was amazing! Due to an unfortunate circumstance, my now-husband and I found ourselves without a venue 2 months before our wedding date. We toured a few venues that had availability for our date, and the Hilton was the clear winner. Right from the beginning, our event coordinator Yara made us feel comfortable and secure with the Hilton after a rough experience with our original venue. She was super responsive, thoughtful, clearly experienced, and so helpful, along with being just a wonderful person. She helped us pull off a whole new wedding in two months and I can't be more thankful to her and the whole team at the Hilton for everything they did for us, including Victoria in booking who made sure that everything was super easy for our guests and for us. No card to put down for holding your room block, which was awesome, plus we got a suite for ourselves included when you book your wedding with them (along with earning Hilton points on the whole wedding spend!).
The staff was helpful and friendly throughout the whole weekend, the food was excellent, drinks were great, and the whole flow of the event was seamless. Our maitre d' was incredible, I don't think I ever had less than 1/4 of a drink before she popped up out of nowhere with a new one. They were so willing and able to customize things for us like appetizers not on their menu or tweaks to the existing ones. It was so convenient for our guests to stay at the hotel, and made for a much better overall experience where we had lots of opportunity to see and chat with our guests throughout the whole weekend. One downside of the venue is there's not really any great spots for outdoor photos, but there are a bunch of arboretums/museums nearby that you can take photos at, including Macculloch Hall, which is where we went. Plus, the interior of the hotel is really unique and a little old-world Titanic-y with wood walls and a 3-story spiral staircase that was perfect for our first look, as well as a really lovely photo spot that we and our guests took advantage of.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding there and highly recommend them!!-

We used Hilton Short Hills for our wedding block (a full 50 rooms) and they made the entire process simple and worry-free! Great Hotel!
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel the night before and the night after our wedding as well as our friends and family. Our wedding venue was affiliated with the hotel and we were able to get a set of blocked rooms for a total of 3 nights, the night before our wedding, the night of, and the night after. I was in close communication with Victoria who was the Sales Manager. She was extremely kind, responsive in a timely manner, and does her best to give the best service. We were able to get a slight discount on the blocked rooms, which was very helpful. During our stay the staff were also amazing. Our stay was comfortable and we rested well after a busy day. Highly recommend staying here! -

The wedding of our dreams!
This was THE wedding of our dreams! Being a bride, everything is automatically stressful to just have the most perfect day. But once we had Vivian at Short Hills, we knew we didn’t have to worry. We still get compliments on the execution of how awesome our ceremony (yes, with sangria!) was and how incredible our cocktail hour was, as well as everything in the reception. Food was great but more importantly service from planning to the final second of the reception was impeccable, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you thank you thank you. If we had to do our wedding ceremony and reception over, we would absolutely choose you all! Thank you again! -

When you step on the property, you’ll notice what level of service you’re going to get and you will receive it. Very nice people to work with. The process and contract were easy to understand. We had to expand the number of rooms and the staff were very flexible. -

Amazing Event
I just had my daughter's Sweet 16 at the Short Hills Hilton. It wasn't a wedding but sure felt like one. I worked with Vivian and Yara and they were just amazing, very detailed and just took care of everything. I can't forget Victoria who took care of our block of rooms and Frank who ran the show. Everyone we made contact with was just great and very friendly and sincere. It was definitely a memorable night! I can't thank them enough! -

Welcome Drinks Reception
I’m writing to let you know about the positive experience and excellent customer service I received while working with Yara Samad. We had my son and daughter in law’s Welcome Drinks reception at the Short Hills Hilton the evening before their wedding.
The moment I sat down with Yara she made me feel comfortable and reviewed all our options in detail. Her suggestions were helpful, realistic and creative. We initially decided to hold the event outside on the pavilion, with the Mendham Room as our backup. As the day got closer and rain was imminent, Yara suggested we hold the event downstairs. She told me the room was big enough to have all our guests including the cornhole, mini golf, jenga and connect 4 games at the end of the room for the kids to enjoy. It was a huge success! There was plenty of room for all our guests to enjoy the food, drinks and games. We received so many wonderful comments about the evening and how well everything ran. It was the perfect kickoff to the wedding the next day.
To say that Yara was a pleasure to work with would be an understatement. Her calming presence combined with her experience, expertise and sense of humor made for a wonderful evening that we will never forget.
Yara is an incredible asset to the Hilton organization. If any of our friends or family are looking to hold an event there in the future, I will definitely suggest they contact her. -

Hilton Short Hills out did themselves!
Although we had a Bar Mitzvah, not a wedding, it certainly could have been a wedding. We hosted the service in the pavilion, which was stunning, the luncheon in the ballroom and then they flipped the ballroom for the evening party.
From the moment I met with Vivian, I knew I was in great hands. Vivian, Emily and Chef , took my theme and ran with it.
The banquets team worked with our vendors to ensure everything was perfect. There is not ONE thing I would change.
We looked at many venues and are attending Bar/Bat Mitzvah's every weekend, this year. Not one venue has come close to what Hilton Short Hills accomplished.
Thank you to Vivian, Emily, Chef and the entire Banquets Team for creating the most memorable event.

Amazing experience planning my wedding weekend at the Hilton
Samantha and Vivian helped us plan the absolute best wedding weekend possible. We used the Hilton Short Hills for our room block and were very happy. The hotel was sold out the night of our wedding, but Megan and Sarah and their team did everything they could to provide extra rooms for guests who had waited until the last minute to book. Our brunch the next morning went smooth and was a good ending to our wedding weekend. Megan and Sarah were easy to work with and always prompt with their responses. -

The food was simply amazing. The cocktail hour was exactly what we envisioned and the dinner was delicious. When dinner was served the food was warm and perfect. The waiters were great and timely.
The venue itself was a dream come true. The new renovations are beautiful.

The Short Hills Hilton did an amazing job with all aspects of my wedding weekend. They accommodated our last minute rehearsal dinner on Friday night in the dining room, the spa was a great way to relax the day before, and so convenient to get our hair/makeup done the day of, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all coordinated seamlessly by Melissa Chiarolanzio (Hilton Event Coordinator), and Martin the maître d for the evening was great! He made sure that the evening went smoothly, all in all we had a great experience with this venue and staff and we definitely recommend it to other couples! -

Absolutely amazing in every way! Mary Vale and her staff were wonderful to work with; professional, sensitive, accommodating, responsive, a "calm in the storm" of wedding planning. The venue is beautiful, the food delicious and the service impeccable. Their attention to detail can not be described in words. My guests commented on how pampered they felt. It may have been my daughters wedding but Mary and her staff made me feel like, "Queen for a Day."

Thank you to Mary Vale and her team at the Short Hills Hilton. We picked this venue first to host the guests for our August wedding and the weekend events and were so happy at the service we received. Who knew we would actually be having our wedding with them as well. On the morning of our wedding with Hurricane Irene beating down our door we had vendors cancel and decided that we needed to move the wedding to a new location. Luckily we were at the Short Hills Hilton- they mobilized their entire team and in two hours we planned a ceremony, a reception, dance floor- the entire WEDDING and it was beautiful and delicious and just the best. Without the Short Hills Hilton we would have had to cancel the wedding. After pulling off this amazing event the hotel lost power at 5am and was still able to have our Sunday brunch by candlelight and take care of our guest who were stuck in NJ for days because of flight cancelations. We can't thank this team enough for all they did and if you are lucky enough to have your wedding here you will see that from start to finish they are top rate!

Everything was absolutely great. The food was delicious and the service exceptional. We were able to have a very small and intimate celebration on a Saturday evening without paying much more given high headcount commitments required at other places.
Chris – the maitre d made sure everything went smoothly and that we were happy with everything throughout out the whole event (starting with the food, temperature, drinks, etc.).
We worked with Elizabeth Winship on most of the details and she was very helpful and recommended a great place for entertainment (Barry Herman Entertainment). She was very patient and listened to our questions. She shared her experience and ideas, which help make our event smooth. She greeted us once we came from church and took our bridal party to a private suite where we were offered refreshments and some light food.
The hotel junior suite room we received (in addition to two regular rooms) was spacious and easily fit our wedding party. We got some great photos getting dressed there! Once we got back there after the reception, there was champagne and chocolate waiting for us.
We didn’t have to worry about anything that day as the staff we worked with was very experienced and knew how to make their clients happy. Overall our experience with this hotel was extraordinary and we would definitely recommend them!!!!

What a fabulous venue! I picked the Short Hills Hilton because it combined classic with New York chic. I looked at many places before picking the Hilton and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Since my wedding was in September, I had my cocktail hour in their tent (air conditioned) and then had access to the entire downstairs for the whole night. I was the only bride using the venue and Mary Vale treated me like a queen!
I didn't like the pushiness of many venues in New Jersey. As soon as I met Mary, I knew we would work together fabulously. Mary will tell you the truth and contribute if you want her opinion and she will bend over backwards to accomodate you and your family. Mary has a keen eye for style and puts on a flawless event with her team.

Sadly, the woman who helped us plan our wedding and reception no longer does weddings, but she was amazing! Think Franc from "Father of the Bride" without the crazy accent or going overboard. She knew exactly how to keep us from getting ridiculously stressed while helping us to plan the most spectacular, elegant wedding and reception we could. Mary Vale is simply fantastic. The venue itself was gorgeous, and it didn't matter that the weather was less than stellar because we spent all weekend at the Hilton--from rehearsal dinner on Friday evening to brunch on Sunday. The food was fantastic as well, and the pastry chef is phenomenal! All of the staff was very accommodating to all of the guests. Simply stated, you can't go wrong with this Hilton!
P.S. Apparently, the General Manager of the hotel has made a change--Mary is now in charge of all weddings and social events, so if you use this hotel for your wedding, you get her help as well! -

Professional and accommodating
Such a great team at the Hilton Short Hills. Yara and Victoria were superstars in helping us manage room accommodations and catering for our wedding weekend. They responded to every question and request with lightning speed and gave us their undivided attention the weekend of. The team working that weekend were so attentive to our guests needs as they checked in and we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and professionalism. All of our guests enjoyed their stay. Brunch on the balcony was the highlight, so beautifully set up and perfect weather. Can’t thank everyone enough! -

While the Hilton was slightly pricier than some hotels in the area, I was beyond thrilled with the service provided and I am so glad we went with the Hilton Short Hills. The customer service representatives were extremely helpful throughout the planning process and so flexible with all of my questions and concerns. -

Having my ceremony and reception at the Hilton Short Hills was fabulous.
I worked with Mary Vale. She was highly responsive to all my emails. The Hilton was also extremely accommodating to all my needs and requests. I also arranged my rehearsal dinner and my brunch at the Hilton Short Hills.

If I could rate the food at the Hilton it would be a 10! We are so happy that we had our reception there. Everything was flawless and our guests enjoyed their meals. People are still complimenting us on the cocktail hour and dessert station! The staff was very accommodating and made sure we were taken care of during the planning and the day of. -

We didn't have our wedding at the Hilton, but used it as a 'staging area' and had a lot of guests staying there before and after the wedding. Unfortunately, the group reservation got messed up and people were put in the wrong rooms, some guests turned up and didn't have a room (though this was rectified, after the front desk spoke with me as I was getting dressed), I was disappointed by how many things went wrong. On the plus side, they upgraded us to an amazing suite, which was definitely appreciated! -

I had a baby shower for my daughter this weekend, originally booked the Pavilion room, but they renovated it and made it look terrible. Had to book the Mendham room, had no choice since I gave them a deposit that they wouldn't return. My contract agreement was liquor to be served by request, they took it upon themselves to serve liquor without asking guests . They told me I had more guests, then I actually had and they charged me. I received a liquor bill of $1200.00 and they said 47 women drank all that liquor on a Sunday afternoon, ridiculous. I requested blue napkins, which they don't have in-house, so I had to pay $2 per napkin, I only needed 47 napkins and they were going to charge me for 60, because that's what they ordered, they finally credited me for only 10 napkins, after I complained. Before you book your party make sure you look at every little detail. The party planner , Melissa, never called me, never contacted me about any aspect of the party, I had to call her to give final count and make final payment, totally unprofessional, she wasn't even at the party she had her assistant there, Rachel, she was barely at the party, had to look for most of the time. Beware before you book. -
