We want to give all of the Airport Hilton staff, especially Alllie Lea, a HUGE thank you for helping make our wedding day the Best Day of Our Lives! Everything was exactly how we expected it to be and more. We could not have pulled off an AMAZING wedding reception without all of their help. The bride's dad was very impressed with Allie checking-in with us throughout the night and making sure everything was going well. We would not have wanted the night any other way.

The Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Mall of America (3800 American Blvd E, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55425) was absolutely elegant! It was recently remodeled and is such a beautiful venue with tall ceilings in the ballroom, new tables and chairs and carpet throughout. The catering staff from the coordinator to the Chef to the banquet captains to the servers and bartenders that night were the best part of this venue. They made sure every detail was in place and executed to how we wanted our reception to be. The food was not your typical wedding food and guests raved about it for weeks after. This venue could not come more highly recommended!

The staff was amazing and went to extensive measures to make our day better than I ever could have dreamed. Everyone who came was in awe of the amazing food, and overall beauty of the hotel.

Our wedding at Hilton Minneapolis/StPaul Airport was flawless. Allie was very responsive to our questions and requests throughout the planning process. The food quality matched the tasting samples perfectly. Our friends and relatives are raving about the venue, the food, and the fun had by all.

Alcohol in reception cost more than if guests went to hotel bar and were weak.

Hilton MOA has one of the best reception ballrooms. It isn't in the basement, and it has tall ceilings with chandeliers. You also get to use the hallway out side the ballroom for cocktail hour- it has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the MN Valley wildlife refuge area. It is beautiful. We had a tough time working with their wedding coordinator - she was impossible to get a hold of and often did not paint the full story for us. Prices went up after we signed (which was not disclosed to us) and they changed the policy about candles after we signed. Overall, they did exactly what we wanted with set-up and even moved our gifts in to one of the conference rooms to be locked up during dinner so we didn't need to worry about them. The food was EXCELLENT and everyone was served at the same time. If I had to give this vendor a grade, it would be a B.

We chose the Hilton MSP Airport MOA after meeting with their previous wedding coordinator who was fantastic. Unfortunately, she left and her replacement was not. The new wedding coordinator, Cyndi, was not very knowledgeable and would often take more than a week to respond to our questions often her responses didn't really help. It was just a lot of back and forth and she was condescending when we spoke to her. She would tell us one thing (for example about keg pricing) only to backpedal and deny she said it. It just seemed like she didn't know what she was doing despite having experience as a wedding coordinator elsewhere. We were assured by Cyndi that nobody would be walking through our cocktail hour or reception (we had two sections of the ballroom and there was another event in the other two sections) only to find that they were unable to move our bar into the ballroom after cocktail hour (the DJ needed to set up where they wanted to put the bar- I can't believe that this was not anticipated) and the people attending the other event were just walking right through where our bar was. We could not be sure that the other event's attendees were not taking advantage of our hosted beer and wine. Several of our guests have commented how weird and uncomfortable this was. The most disappointing thing was on our wedding day when we were running a little late (we got there 7 minutes after we were planning to arrive) to find that the doors to the ballroom had been opened and almost everyone had already sat down at their tables (cocktail hour was in the area outside the ballroom). We were planning to open the doors and welcome our guests but were unable to do so. Cyndi told us she did not know who opened the doors but over 100 people were able to find their escort cards and seats so it seems the doors had been open for longer than those 7 minutes. I was also disappointed to hear that Cyndi yelled at 2 of my bridesmaids when we were running late.
