We stayed at Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington for our June wedding in 2025! They offered so many great things - a getting ready suite the morning of with two lighted mirrors for the hair and makeup artist to use, ability to hold a block of rooms for our guests to book at a discounted rate, and transportation for our guests to and from the venue nearby. The staff was also very helpful getting this all set up for me throughout the planning process, answering any question I had and they were super responsive. As a bride, I definitely recommend the getting ready suite for the morning of! There was plenty of space and lots of natural light. We booked the connecting double queen room which allowed for even more space and another bathroom! Overall, I recommend Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington! -

Our experience at the Hilton for our wedding venue was pretty much perfect. Our wedding night went about as smoothly and perfectly as we hoped it would be. The process of booking everything and setting things up was straightforward and the Hilton coordinator, Kate, was fantastic. She set up our centerpieces and tables and made sure everything was ready for us when we arrived. -

The Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington did such a wonderful job with our wedding! We had our reception there and it was beautiful! Katherine Hughes was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to not only meet our needs but make sure we had a smoothe wedding. She even helped by setting up a lot of our reception, setting up desserts, folding place cards, etc. our guests had a great time and really loved their stay. The suite we got to stay in was huge and so nice! -

I celebrated my marriage with both the ceremony and reception held at the Hilton. The coordinator Kate Hughes was fantastic to work with and highly recommend her. The hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. -

They did such a good job with our wedding here. they made it as stress free as possible. The décor was awesome. Our guests loved doing everything in one place. They are very experienced and have good recommendations on vendors to use. Kate was amazing, she is very good at communicating and helped make everything go smoothly! Everyone there was so nice and helpful! -

We had a wonderful time planning our wedding reception here. We were able to get over 200+ guests into this venue with ease. We enjoyed their food, and their head chef was able to accommodate for our guests with dietary needs. We were able to bring in our own wine (for a corking fee). Their catering sales manager, Kate, was wonderful to work with. She is very thorough, flexible, and willing to share ideas that helped us. She was also very fast to respond to emails, and she always made it seem like our wedding reception mattered to her as much as it mattered to us. We are super grateful for the team here- they are very hospitable. -

This venue made planning our wedding reception an ease. We had over 200+ people from out-of-state come to celebrate our wedding. This venue was able to easily feed and house everyone for the weekend. In fact, we had so many people reserve our block that the hotel opened up more rooms to accommodate. Their Catering Sales Manager, Kate, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is very personable, attentive, and was quick to respond to our emails and questions. We felt like the venue was very transparent with their prices too, so we could budget very well. We are grateful that we chose to host our wedding reception here! -

The Executive Suite was a great space for a bridal party to get ready. chairs and vanities were provided. Kate H. was very responsive and helpful when booking room blocks and shuttle services. -

We decided to use the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington because it was perfect proximity from our wedding venues. The Catering Sales Manager, Kate, was very helpful setting up the room blocks for Fri. and Sat. night and was very accommodating getting us in suites and the Presidential Suite on the 11th floor. The girls used the Washington Room to get ready and the space, food and refreshments were all great. The Chop House was a great gathering space for out of town guests the night before the big day. We only heard positive hotel reviews from our guests, so we would definitely recommend to others looking for a room block. -

Couldn't ask for more!
In the wedding planning process, it was important to me to have a place that looked clean and welcoming, fit our budget, and had a responsive coordinator. Kate and the team excelled in all of these areas! This was one of most affordable venues, yet looked so stunning. Kate also was astoundingly available for us-I would often email her with questions throughout the process, and a few different occasions, called to talk through some things. The food was delicious as well! The week of the wedding, we had a few minor fixes that needed to happen, and Kate was fantastic and took care of it discreetly.
I truly cannot recommend this venue enough! We were so grateful for how beautiful of a reception Kate and the team put on! -

You will NOT regret having your wedding here. From start to finish this entire process was incredibly fun and as easy and Kate Hughes was an integral part of that. She went out of her way to make our experience as customized as possible when it came to decor and beverage options. She acts as your wedding and day of coordinator all in one! -

The Hilton when I first saw it was amazing it was very nice to walk into a hotel not expecting it to look amazing. Durning the covid outbreak it was really hard to know what was going to happen. The Hilton was great in communicating with me so I know what was going on. In the end we had someone new to deal with and I was ok with her she remainder me of a family friend. It was a fantastic experience I had nothing to worry about everything was taken care of and I was thankful for the help I had. Everything turned out great. I got to have all my guest in the end. The food was really great too. The chandeliers got me to they were very pretty and unique too.At first me and my husband didn’t really want it at a hotel but then we came to the Hilton also and fell in love. I really do recommend the Hilton for a venue. -

We booked our wedding at the Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis this January, and we were more than happy with the service we received from everyone involved. Kate, the wedding coordinator at the Hilton, was a pleasure to work with! She made the process of planning out our perfect day easy and stress-free. She was very easy to talk to and quick to respond to emails. She coordinated with our vendors, such as the DJ and bakeries we went through to make sure everyone was on the same page about arrival/delivery times. She also took care of our centerpiece set-up on the day of the wedding. The bar tenders and service staff who helped at our reception were fantastic and very polite, and the food was AMAZING!
The prices were pretty reasonable too, especially given the location of the hotel in proximity to popular destinations in Minneapolis, such as the airport and mall of america. The Hilton also provided a shuttle to and from the airport and mall of america for guests who come in from out of town. I would 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a venue to go with the Hilton after our great experience there :) -

Working with Kelly Huseman at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington was such a gift in the wedding planning process. Our wedding was so much nicer -- truly a dreamy, stress free, gorgeous wedding -- than I thought possible when we first began searching for venues with our budget. I appreciated that Kelly & the Hilton were always up front with details about the venue and its costs as well as flexible so that our wedding truly felt unique and valued there. At no point were any of our ideas off the table for budget, it was simply a matter of how to make things happen. Seriously, some of my friends are shocked that "a hotel wedding" felt so beautiful and fun because they've been to many that just feel... fine or stuffy. That is not the case here! We really cared about our guests' experience at the wedding, and the Hilton did, too. Words are not doing justice to how blown away we are by the Hilton & Kelly's work.
We had an amazing taco bar buffet for our dinner and it was seriously delicious! It was a great dinner for all of our friends and family with whatever dietary restrictions they had: picky eaters, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free -- we had them all and they were all super happy with the dinner. Our cocktail hour featured pizzas that were continually replenished during the hour and were kept hot with warmers the entire time. The hallway surrounding the ballroom made for a great space for cocktail hour and our DJ kept the music going, which was so fun.
On top of all of that, the venue is gorgeous and my pictures certainly don't do it justice (RIP I feel like I'm letting you down, Kelly!). It feels more grand in person than it does in photos -- the chandelier installations add lots of glamour, but the ballroom itself is pretty neutral, so it can really work with a lot of styles. The suite to get ready in was spacious, beautiful, and just what we needed for the bridal party. The day of the wedding, Kelly took care of EVERYTHING. We did not have to worry about a single detail related to vendors or set up or any of it. And it was all so beautifully pulled together, especially due to Kelly's advice and suggestions throughout the planning process.
Seriously, choose this venue, choose to work with Kelly. We are so immensely grateful to have gotten married at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington. We feel so lucky.

My husband and I used the Hilton in Bloomington (3900 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MN 55437) for both our wedding ceremony and reception. We were engaged for two years and had originally met and signed with Amber at the Hilton. Amber moved on to another position and Kelly took her place. From the moment we met Kelly we knew she would be a perfect fit to help us with our big day. Kelly is incredibly personable and made us feel as if we were her only couple/event every time we met with her. Kelly met with us many times before the event to get an idea of what we wanted and to help whip us into shape on things we had been procrastinating. Kelly was prompt when returning emails and answering our never ending questions. We purchased many different decor items for our wedding and on the day of Kelly brought our vision to life. We seriously cannot say enough great things about Kelly and the rest of the amazing staff at the Hilton. The Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington was the perfect place for our winter ceremony/reception! Kelly was our event coordinator and she made sure everything ran smoothly, even from the first meeting with her I knew we were in great hands! During our meetings, every time I had some idea about something new (rehearsal, Sunday breakfast, etc), Kelly always helped facilitate whatever we wanted as best she could and made everything so easy for us. She responded to emails promptly and checked in with us throughout the wedding day to make sure everything was going as expected - she did such a great job that I didn’t have to worry at all the day of the wedding!
We had so many guests compliment us on the food, the venue and the service staff and everyone loved having everything in one place (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, hotel). The staff helped set up our room and decorations, and even helped take some of it down which was super helpful that night. We were able to store all the decorations in the coat closet overnight and easily removed them the next morning. For pictures, we took half at the hotel - which has some beautiful open walls, and half at Centennial Lakes Park which was just a quick 5 min drive away! It was perfect!
Another perk - we got the presidential suite the night of the wedding complimentary, and paid for it the night before. It was the getting ready place for the girls and it was perfect!

Working with Kelly was wonderful! She helped calm my nerves and was so helpful through the whole process. It was like having my mom, sister, best friend, and fairy godmother all rolled up into this amazing person. She talked me through all my questions and made me feel like she cared about us and our ideas. The wedding day went flawless and I credit most of that to Kelly!
The staff was also absolutely amazing with all of our guests. My parents even messed up their initial reservation and without any hassle or question the staff took care of their needs.
I highly recommend the Hilton if you are needing a wedding venue, or just want to have a party. Not only was it beautiful, but every aspect of your event well cared for.Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington Hotel's reply:

Nicole Sent on 09/10/2018My husband and I were very impressed with the Hilton Bloomington as our wedding venue and working with Amber. The ballroom space is very large, perfectly shaped (square) and has an already beautiful ambience so not a lot of decoration is needed. We were looking for an elegant hotel venue for our wedding and stopped looking when we toured the Hilton! Not only was the planning phase a lot of fun, but we also got a TON of compliments. Here were the top three best parts about the Hilton 1) Food! So many guests told us it was the best meal they’ve had at a wedding, if not ever! Large portions and everything was delicious; 2) Service. This is something a lot of couples don’t think about but makes a huge difference for your guests! All our guests felt pampered and wanted for nothing by the end of the night; 3) Value. We wanted a place that was convenient for guests while giving us hotel points to use toward our honeymoon. The Hilton was a great venue and despite our F&B minimum, we felt we got tremendous value for what we paid. Overall, would definitely recommend Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington and appreciate Amber’s help in making our day perfect!
