    Wedding reception

    Our first venue canceled on us 2 weeks before our wedding and the Hilton Garden Inn worked with us very well to make sure our day went perfect! Ashley was great with helping us plan everything. The ballroom was beautiful. I would 100% recommended hosting your event here!

    Between Josie handling all of my wedding reception details and Crystal handling all of my overnight rooms (which is always crazy). We felt no stress and that made our day absolutely beautiful and awesome.

    Josie and the team at the Hilton Garden Inn did an amazing job for our wedding reception (we had our ceremony at a nearby church)! They had all the information ready at our first meeting, from the cost to what is included in each package. That was a big change from some of the other venues where it seemed everything had an "extra" fee attached to it. We had a lot of fun choosing the food and decor. Our guests had a nice cocktail hour while we took pictures back at the church. When we arrived for the reception, everything looked beautiful! The food was great! Everyone worked so well together from the Hilton team to the DJ and photographer. We really had zero stress and were able to enjoy our evening. All of our out of town guests stayed at the hotel, which was nice because they were able to hang out together at the bar long after the reception ended. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the honeymoon suite, which was included in our wedding package. I would definitely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to others! My mom- who can be difficult to please- said it was the best reception she ever attended (and, believe me, she wouldn't have said it if it wasn't true!). :)

    We stayed in the honeymoon suite the night of our wedding and it was fabulous. The room was great and the jacuzzi area was set up nice as well. Several of our guests stayed here as well. We set up a block of rooms at a nearby hotel but they continually were messing up dates and not giving my guests the agreed upon rate so we moved them here. The staff was great and we had no issues!

    I loved having our reception at the Hilton Garden Inn! Everything about it was great! Josie did a great job putting everything together and helping to plan the reception. The prices were very reasonable and there are many different packages to choose from. The event staff did the whole set-up and take down as well, which was very convenient for us. We provided our own centerpieces and decorations, but they used a few of their own decorations also and it looked great! They provide tableclothes/runners and napkins in your wedding color for a reasonable price too. My husband and I also received a free stay in the honeymoon suite that night, which includes a jacuzzi! Overall it was great experience and they helped us to have the perfect day!

    I have nothing but praise to give to Josie and her team at HGI. She was always very responsive to my emails - even when I repeated questions LOL - and she kept me calm through all of the planning. On the day of I didn't have to worry about a thing as it all ran so smoothly and looked fantastic. I did have some problems when it came to the room block but after I contacted Josie (who does not even handle this area!) I got it worked out. It was really nice to know that I had someone there looking out for me and really working to make sure that when it came time for the reception I didn't have to worry about anything.

    This is really nice just a little to expensive for my liking.

    I was so excited to have Hilton be a part of our wedding weekend. I had high expectations for my guests staying there. My expectations were too high. The shuttle service did not show up when they were supposed to and when they showed up finally a 1/2 hour late there weren't enough seats in the van for my wedding party. Money was stolen out of a guests room and when we went to eat brunch there weren't enough seats for the guests that I was told would be accommodated for. I was so unimpressed and disappointed. However, they did accommodate us for early check in and provided us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for our wedding night - that was nice. I just am embarrassed for my guests.

I regret that our team did not meet your expectations. It is always our endeavor to exceed our guests' expectations and based on your comments, unfortunately we fell very short. I will discuss with the team member who drove to ascertain why the shuttle was late. Our shuttle seats ten plus the driver and therefore we are always prepared to do multiple trips to ensure each guest returns home safely. On Saturday & Sunday we serve breakfast from 7:00a.m. - 11:30a.m. We generally provide extra seating when we are expecting a large group. I will discuss with my team to understand what transpired to prevent your guests form having a place to sit in the Garden Grille. As it pertains to money being stolen from a guest's room. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with the guest. Will you please ask him/her to give me at call at 937-458-2650? In addition, we value you and understand this was a particularly special weekend for you and I would appreciate an opportunity to further discuss this experience with you as we do not wish this to be the take away about our level of commitment to guest satisfaction.
