We had our 35th anniversary vow renewal at the Hilltop Restaurant. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. The venue was absolutely beautiful and Stacey was a priceless jewel. She was open to everything we wanted, gave great suggestions and made our special day everything we could imagine or hope for. -

The venue was beautiful! We rented the Grand Ballroom for our August 22nd wedding. Stacey was awesome and helpful. She was also our wedding officiant. The Hilltop staff were amazing and so nice! I highly recommend booking your wedding here. They will take care of everything and you won’t be disappointed! -

Stacy and the staff at the Hilltop made our wedding day very special and we highly recommend to check them out. She made sure every detail was perfect and the restaurant itself is exquisite and beautiful. I was amazed by how everything can't together and just how I imagined. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant soon. -

beautiful. This Victorian style mansion was the perfect setting for my private exchange of vows. There's also two beautiful gardens. My wedding was held in the larger of the two. My guest were equally impressed as well. But NOTHING compared to the professionalism and graciousness of Ms. Stacey! She was friendly and helpful from the start. She was so personable that I felt like I've known her forever. This is the perfect place for ANY event! -

Amazing and fun
I’m so happy I had my wedding at the Hilltop.If I could do it again I would do it there.The venue is so beautiful you don’t even have to do anything to it. Stacey was an amazing person and I can call her from now she was so helpful so generous. The food is amazing the service it was amazing the bartenders. But most of all Stacey. Thank you hilltop for Making Joey and I’s day very special. -

The Hilltop went above and beyond to make our special day everything we wanted and more! They treated us like nothing mattered more then making us happy. Stacey and Chad were especially wonderful. I will always recommend them! -

Jess Sent on 03/09/2013This place is excellent!!! I held my ceremony here, and my reception. If we stay in Florida, I would like to hold our Anniversary here and well as any other big events I may have in the future. Even a couple of my friends are considering this place for their wedding after seeing mine! Chad and Robbie are two very great guys when it comes to making sure you get what you really want (as long as it's within means of course). They were very flexible with the menu, as my husband is from Nepal he wanted some India dishes on the menu, and they had no problem doing it. They're very willing to work with you on prices too! Our WHOLE wedding was under $6000! And that includes, everything from the venue/reception, to hair and make-up artist, food, photographer and rights released photos, attire for the wedding party, wedding decorations. I couldn't have been happier with my wedding. -

The food was great and I've had nothing but compliments from my guests at how happy they were the way things looked and how they were treated. Very good choice to have Hilltop as a place for your Wedding or party! -

Shelby Sent on 07/14/2015Hilltop Restaurant in Orange Park was awesome. They were very flexible with the menu and everything was delicious. The food was made from scratch, nothing was frozen. They let me make my own menu and the open bar was great. The bartender was very nice and made great drinks! They also include tables, chairs, silverware, dishes and fresh cut centerpieces(your choice of flower) when you book them. Great price... I got the grand ballroom, a buffet for 100people, open bar ($1500 and got money back), cake serving fee and the service fee for $6,000. -

Lashica Sent on 06/27/2012Let me just say that Hilltop is a great place to have your wedding as did I on June 16, 2012. I decorated the place myself and it was simple and beautiful. As you can see my rating is all over the place. The service from the staff was outstanding. Bernie was there and very helpful from the time I arrived at 945 until I left at 1015 at night. He was very amazing, as for the rest of the server staffs and Tonya the bar tender. Professionalism- I must say that I really didn't like the way the manager handled the chair situation the morning of my wedding. There was a bit confusement that took place when the company I hired came to place the chair covers on the chairs. To me he was very disrespectful to her as well as myself. I don't feel that what he said to her was necessary and must importantly definitely not in front of me (The customer). Flexibility- when I first booked the place I was told that I could come in to reherse the night before my wedding. That didn't happen becaue he booked a wedding in the same exact location as mines. Which led me to have to reherse the morning of. I was laos told that I could come in on a specific day for a food tasting. Remind you I'm traveling from Ohio. I get to SC to my family home and called Hilltop to find out that I couldn't have a food tasting because they have a wedding. I would reccomend this place truthfully because of the staff members were, Bernie, Tonya and the servers were amazing and the Venue is actually a good location for an outdoor wedding. By the way the food was amazing. Hats off to the Chef.

Vivian Sent on 09/01/2018It's a great venue to host a wedding but the staff lacks punctuality and communications skills. Also this venue will schedule multiple events on the same day, including other weddings, which wasn't a problem when they told us originally but it ended up being a little hectic. The ceremony space certainly doesn't have as many flowers or greenery as the pictures reflect but it was still a nice area. The upstairs Grand Ballroom where we had our reception was beautiful! They even provided centerpieces that matched our colors and theme at a MUCH lower cost than it would have been to go to a florist ourselves. The food was delicious and got many compliments from guests. However, the wedding coordinators were very slow in returning emails and phone calls. Sometimes it took almost a full week for them to respond which was very frustrating. When we did talk or meet with them they often forgot important details such as our names and the wedding date and kept asking for reminders, this was still happening after multiple meetings and phone calls. A few contract agreements were also broken the day of our wedding without us being told until the absolute last minute. For example, my mother was told an hour before our 5:30pm ceremony began that another ceremony scheduled for 6:30pm did not match our colors and we were told to have everything down by 6pm. That included getting all the family and wedding party pictures done as well. Also we paid for 124 guests requested 13 tables and asked for the buffet to be set up in the room next to the reception. This was all in the contract. They only set up twelve tables and put our buffet in the same room as the reception. Of course we were told this just before it started so we had to quickly separate a family. Their daughters ended up leaving the reception early cause they were uncomfortable not knowing anyone at their table. I never got to see them. A nice venue but I feel like the staff lacked coordination and caused unnecessary stress.
