  These are the ones!

  Maya was fantastic to work with and helped us figure out what we needed for our April wedding centerpieces. The folks at Hillen Homestead were able to match the flowers in our bucket (we ordered a single one) to our wedding color scheme (light pink and sage) and even got tulips in there - which are my (bride's) favorite flower but definitely harder to come across. It meant so much. Pickup was a breeze too, and the flowers are still holding strong 6 days later. These were absolutely beautiful and we will definitely look into buying from them again! Especially love supporting a business local to Bmore!

  Beautiful, Local Flowers for Our Wedding

  We loved working with Hillen Homestead and with Maya for our wedding florals and decor. We were able to customize to get exactly what we wanted, and Maya offered helpful tips about colors, arrangements, keeping flowers fresh, etc. She worked and communicated well with both me and my mom, who was able to do a sample bucket and practice arrangements before the big day. We highly recommend Hillen Homestead if you want to do your own flowers for a wedding or other event! Great quality, great price, great communication.

  Local Flowers Were a Wedding Highlight

  I loved meeting and working with Maya on the seasonal flowers for my wedding. It was important to us that we source as much local decor and food for our Baltimore City wedding as possible, so HIllen was the perfect grower. The blossoms and variety were gorgeous and fragrant. It's a bit of work trimming the stems for arrangements, but I didn't mind that part. And my day-of planners grouped the flowers into arrangments for the tables. I wasn't tremendously picky, just wanted some colors highlighted. Guests thought they were stunning and just right for our low-key-yet-beautiful event. I dried and pressed a few bouquets for my scrapbook. I couldn't have been more pleased with the flowers or with Maya's kind assistance.

  Great Experience to DIY Flowers

  I purchased bulk flowers from Hillen Homestead and it was a fantastic experience. Maya gave me multiple buckets of flowers for a great price and my sister and I DIY-ed all the arrangements on all the tables and for our ceremony stage. I would highly recommend this approach. The flowers were great quality. I chose to have Maya give us seasonally appropriate flowers in specific colors and she gave us such a fantastic variety. We were able to create really dynamic arrangements in colors that I loved. Super fun process and would highly recommend!

  DIY Floral Success

  I knew that I wanted to DIY my table centerpieces, and was excited to source the flowers locally through Hillen Homestead. Maya was great to work with - checking in about color palette and specific flower requests, as well as logistics of flower delivery the day we were planning to do the arranging. She was even able to accommodate a last minute request for edible flowers to use on my cake. We were so pleased with the quality and variety of flowers that she had for us, and had such a fun time arranging everything the day before the wedding.

  Amazing flowers

  The flowers from Hillen Homestead were amazing. Maya made the whole process easy and stress free. The pick-up was easy and the flowers were fresh and perfect for my daughters wedding. The flowers Maya selected for us were incredible and made the DIY process so easy.

  DIY Buckets for Wedding and Beyond!

  I have ordered bulk flowers from Hillen Homestead twice and I would not hesitate to do it again! Maya always supplies the most incredible blooms! Once in the fall (for a wedding) and once in the summer (for a baby shower), I picked up buckets with the best the season had to offer. Not only was this an affordable option, arranging flowers for- and with- loved ones was such a special experience. Each time we used flowers for centerpieces and extras (like bouquets, bouts, and flower crowns).
  
  I love working with Maya. Coordination feels easy and flexible. She even checked in when she had some special decorative peppers that could be included (which we loved!). One day I will plan a spring soiree and bulk order her amazing tulips!

  Flowers are so beautiful!

  I loved using Hillen Homestead DIY buckets so much that I used them twice! We had a small 2020 wedding on our original wedding date, and Maya provided all of the flowers for this ceremony. We bought two buckets and I had enough for my bouquet and all the tables plus more (it was only about 20 people). The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted for a fall wedding.
  We used her again in 2021 for reception flowers and my bridesmaids’ bouquets for our full-size wedding celebration. I loved setting up the flowers with my family and friends, and the flowers were so beautiful! I highly recommend.

  Hillen Homestead: The Cream of the Crop

  As the MOB in charge of the flowers, working with Maya at Hillen Homestead was one of the best experiences of the wedding planning that I could have. I actually had the pleasure of planting the tulip bulbs (with love) in her corner urban lot on a sunny autumn day, and I believed from day one that her harvest would be the most magnificent harvest ever, and she delivered exactly that. I was thrilled to support a local grower and trusted that whatever was growing the week of the wedding would be perfect for our celebration. My daughter had no idea what was coming until the day of, and was over thrilled at the beautiful harvest, as was I. Maya had the most luscious Spring blossoms to send our way, and we couldn’t have been happier. We also used HH for the shower flowers as well. Hillen Homestead ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way.

  A beautiful experience for DIY wedding flowers

  Hiller Homestead was the best — flexible, intuitive, accommodating, accessible, and just all around great to work with on our DIY wedding flowers. The assorted buckets of locally grown seasonal flowers and foliage we received was perfect for our late-September celebration. There's no way we would have gotten such an interesting & unique selection elsewhere. Oh, and in the beautiful chaos of our wedding weekend, we accidentally paid for our order twice, which they immediately alerted us about and resolved. We can't recommend Hiller Homestead enough! Thanks for a great experience Maya and co!

  Maya Kosok made the process very easy, from consultation to delivery to setup of arrangements. The table settings, bouquets, and boutonnieres were exactly what we wanted. She is easy to work with and the price was right.

This was the main DIY element in our wedding and we are so happy that we went this route. We loved that the flowers were grown with love and care only a few miles from our wedding. The flowers and greenery were stunning. Our friends and family really enjoyed helping us with the arrangements. It was a lot of fun and such a wonderful personal touch. It is one of our favorite memories from our wedding weekend. Maya was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She gave us great tips and realistic advice on making our own arrangements. We even got a test bucket a few weeks out to practice making arrangements in our centerpiece containers. Maya was flexible and responsive. We added some extra flowers at the last minute to decorate our cake. We would highly recommended Hellen Homestead to couples who want their wedding to reflect their local and sustainable values.

  We were SO happy with our decision to order bulk flowers from Maya for our October wedding. She was super easy to work with and supplied us with the most beautiful variety of flowers. I gave her a few ideas on colors of flowers I liked. If you are going to do your own flowers and use a local farm, you have to be willing to accept any flowers they have ready and available for your date. I loved the wild look and loved supporting a local, sustainable farm! Thank you, Maya!!!

There were so many more types of flowers than I expected we would get, and even some fun grasses and little chili peppers that couldn't have been more perfect! One of the best decisions we made for sure in terms of quality and budget.

She was helpful in sending me a hoped for list of what to expect in July. In the months leading up to the wedding, I had a few inquiries where each time Maya assisted me with suggestions, information, and even pointed me in the direction of a local class that was being held to learn how to make your own floral crown.   I ordered flowers from out of town to be used at a wedding reception in Baltimore. This worked out great because Maya was flexible about having me pick them up at her place. I don't know anything about arranging flowers but they looked great because they were really pretty flowers! Her website was really helpful too.

  We had a fantastic experience with Maya and Hillen Homestead with the flowers for our wedding. Can't say enough great things about them. The flowers were gorgeous, fresh and Maya was very easy to work with. She also offered great tips on arranging them (which we had a friend do). Would definitely recommend!!!

  We had a fantastic experience with Maya and Hillen Homestead with the flowers for our wedding. Can't say enough great things about them. The flowers were gorgeous, fresh and Maya was very easy to work with. She also offered great tips on arranging them (which we had a friend do). Would definitely recommend!!!

  We could not have asked for a better experience! We had table arrangements, bouquets, flower crowns, arrangements for the ceremony, the list goes on. And it was all local, and all so very beautiful! Hillen Homestead made the process so easy. They were excited to help cater to what we had in mind, and they exceeded our expectations! We were even offered the opportunity to help plant and then harvest the flowers ourselves. I still find that the flowers made the whole day just that much more special. I recommend Hillen Homestead to anyone who is looking for a local, friendly business with absolutely beautiful flowers!

  Maya provided beautiful local flowers for my client. She is so helpful and full of knowledge about flowers! I thought I was going to feel like a nuisance, following her around as she was harvesting, but she was so patient with me. Maya is so wonderful, and her product is exquisite. I wish I could give more than five stars!

We decided to do our own arrangements, and Maya gave me many tips on how to arrange flowers as well as the names of other friends of hers who could provide specific flower types I wanted. On the day before my wedding, I picked up a truckload of flowers from her which were just beautiful. Prices were reasonable, the flowers were gorgeous and local, and the service excellent.   Maya was communicative before my wedding about what flowers might be available and what supplies she could provide. She assembled a crew to help with bouquet design, which they did on site the morning of the wedding. She and the crew worked with family members of the wedding party to design the bride's bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, boutonnieres, arrangements for dining and cocktail tables, and a few other decorative items. I was very happy with how smooth everything went - it was something I knew I didn't need to worry about on my wedding day! Everything was beautiful and I was overall very pleased with my experience.

  I reached out to Maya because we are part of an online local food group and she mentioned she had an organic flower farm and was looking for donations of random mason jars to house the flowers etc. I was in the process of planning a very small wedding - less than 35 guests and I wanted to use local vendors who were cognizant of the environment and of course, produced beautiful creations.
  
  Maya was super responsive, very open to my requests, which were admittedly vague. I wanted billy balls and the use of dried herbs. Everything else was Maya's creation.
  
  The day of, Maya had the boutonnieres, bridal party bouquets and leftover wildflowers as centerpieces for the tables. The creations were beautiful, some of my guests took the flowers home with them, I took a few and of course, I saved & dried my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere. Pick up was a breeze - my bridesmaid and her husband picked them up at the farmer's market.
  
  Though my wedding was on the smaller side, I am positive Maya would've been able to handle a party double, triple or quadruple in size. She was a delight to work with and the mayhem of wedding planning, the flowers portion was by far the most pleasant and easy task, all in thanks to Maya.
