We didn't want to stress any of our friends and family by asking them to write a speech and officiate our wedding so we decided we would hire an officiant. Not going to lie, was a little nervous about having someone who we never met before give a speech about who my husband and I are as a couple. At the first zoom meeting, Hillary made us feel at ease immediately and was very thoughtful in her explanation of the entire process.
We really appreciated the way she was able to answer all our questions, and the help she was able to provide in terms of writing our story and vows. Although we weren't starting from scratch, it was still helpful to draw inspiration by her templates to write the authentic story of us. She was responsive during the whole process, and always helpful when we needed more guidance.
The initial worries washed away and she was amazing on our wedding day, the way she was able to tell the story of us as a couple and it felt like we hadn't just met her a few months ago. There were laughs and tears from the crowd, not to mention us, and I got compliments from several guests at how excellent the speech was. It was important to us that the speech and vows felt authentic, and it was nice to be able to add our own touches to various portions. Hire Hillary to be your wedding officiant, you won't regret it. -

Hillary is hands down my favorite officiant to work with in Washington. She’s bubbly, warm, and makes every couple feel at ease, while also being incredibly professional and calm under pressure. She’s super responsive and reliable, which makes the planning process seamless. Her ceremonies are always beautiful, she puts so much care and effort into each script, making them personal and heartfelt. It’s clear how much she loves what she does, and that energy shines through. On top of that, her partner is just as wonderful to work with, making them an unbeatable team. We really enjoyed working with Hillary for our wedding! She helped keep us organized with applying for our license, proofread our vows and wrote the most incredible ceremony for us. Throughout the night we had people constantly approaching us asking what table she was sitting at/which one of us she knew first because they were so certain that she had to have been a friend of ours -- truly a testament to her skills!! -

We met Hillary and RJ at a Seattle wedding show. My husband and I had no clue who would officiant us and since we were not really religious, we were open to using a professional officiant. Since our first meeting, Hillary was extremely pleasant, professional, and easy to work with! In order to get to know us, we filled out her easy questionnaire and from that, she was able to craft a beautiful ceremony speech. She was very flexible when I asked for a few things to be edited and ultimately made our ceremony speech perfect. Even though we were not having a religious ceremony, I still wanted to incorporate a few Catholic traditions (Cord and Veil ceremony) which Hillary was more than willing to preform for us. Lastly, Hillary was very budget friendly and made the paperwork filing process of the marriage certificate an absolute easy breeze! Overall, I highly recommend using PNW Wedding Officiants Hillary or RJ for your wedding! -

RJ officiated our elopement in the Hoh Rainforest. He made the entire process seamless, from our zoom call, to communicating via email and text, all the way through ensuring our marriage certificate was processed properly. RJ had never met us in person, just one zoom call, yet the day of you’d never know. He spoke very eloquently, and everything he said perfectly matched our vibe and vows. He was not only on time, but 40 minutes early to ensure a smooth day. RJ also dressed the part and confirmed the attire with us so that he would match us for photos. -

RJ nailed it! He made us feel totally at ease going into the day, and he couldn't have built a more beautiful script for our ceremony. Our consultation beforehand really made us feel like he grasped a sense of who we were, and he used our written material expertly to craft a touching and heartfelt ode to our love story. So many guests came up to us afterwards and asked us how long we knew RJ - everyone thought that we had been friends for a long time! It felt natural and powerful in the most meaningful way. He is an excellent speech writer and public speaker, we would totally recommend for any type of ceremony. -

We hired Hillary to officiate our ceremony and help us write vows. The ceremony was so meaningful to us. She executed perfectly what we wanted and was so easy to work with.
I would HIGHLY recommend also hiring her to help with writing vows. She helps structure how to write vows and makes sure both parties have similar length of vows.
Even if you are having a friend officiating for you, I would definitely hire her to help with writing the ceremony and vows. -

I found PNW Officiants on Facebook. Hillary and RJ are a team and they stood out because they donate a portion of their profits from officiating to a charity of your choosing which seemed very touching to me. They were in budget, flexible, and great with communication leading up to our ceremony. I knew I had wanted something simple, and RJ managed to keep our ceremony simple but made it so much more beautiful than what I ever imagined it’d be. There was a moment it hit me that I was in the middle of getting married and I got choked up. RJ saw it and gave me a really gentle affirmation mid vow and it was enough to get us through the rest of the ceremony. After the ceremony RJ went directly to the courthouse to file our certificate and sent us an email to confirm that it had been processed. If I had to go back, I wouldn’t change anything. We feel lucky that we landed in such good hands. -

We cannot say enough about our officiant and how incredible they were. RJ was absolutely wonderful, he really made our vision come true. The entire process was smooth from the very beginning, and we loved being able to see the script before the wedding. He even sent a wonderful questionnaire beforehand that helped us put our vows together because of the questions that were asked. Everything was so detailed and beautifully put together, it really highlighted the beauty of our love story. And he mailed our wedding license right after the ceremony and even sent us a tracking number so we could see when it arrived at the court! Again, we cannot recommend RJ enough. -

Hillary is not only super-efficient, well-organized, thoroughly professional, and a great communicator, she is also very warm, well-spoken, and kind. The words she chose to share about our wedding and the commitment of marriage were so thoughtful and perfect!
Even though we didn’t contact Hillary far enough in advance to have a fully-personalized ceremony, my husband and I really appreciated that she gave us the opportunity to share our own words of welcome, recite our own vows, and exchange rings. These touches helped our ceremony feel very personal and special, and her presence at our wedding made it all the more memorable.
We also love that Hillary donates a portion of the officiant fee to a charitable organization of one's choice. Thank you for everything, Hillary. We're so happy we found you! -

We reached out to Hillary about a month before our wedding, because our first officiant (a family friend) fell through. Hillary just happened to be free that weekend and it felt like fate! I knew immediately after our introductory meeting that she was the perfect officiant for us. She was so helpful over the next few weeks with detailed instructions about how to apply for our marriage license. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and so personal to our relationship. Hillary was absolutely fantastic! After the ceremony I got so many compliments about how loving she is! She was great about communicating with us and answering our questions. She also sent us some examples of vows which was a huge help! And also sending the documents back to our county which makes everything so much easier! Hillary went above and beyond to make Andy & Taryn’s ceremony special. She spoke with the couple often and asked them about key points which she then took the time to weave into the ceremony in meaningful ways. She stayed in touch and guided them through the process and also gave support to each family on the day of the wedding. She truly helped to make it a special day and we are very grateful.
