  Gina, you were amazing! You made not only me look and feel great, you made my entire bridal party comfortable and happy with their looks! We had some picky girls, especially my mom, and they all raved about you! The makeup was perfect and I would hire Gina again in a second!

  Gina is amazing! First off, I love her look. She is so beautiful and her own make up is flawless so I know I was going g to be in good hands. Secondly, I'm pretty introverted so to be alone with someone for 2-3 hours can be nerve racking, but she made it easy as possible and genuinely seemed to want to know who I am. Finally, she made me beautiful!! She did! I'm 41 and was getting married for the first time! It's not easy seeing catalogs with 20 year olds all over the spreads, but she made me look flawless. Not one brown spot showing or acne scar... She crushed it. Trust me!

I took photos for 10 hours (in waterfalls and was actively hiking all day) not one hair or makeup particle was out of place at the end of the day. She made the day absolutely perfect and catered to our every need. So grateful for her!

  Gina was a complete professional, very personable and down to earth. You can tell making brides look their best is her passion. My bridesmaids (and me too) loved the airbrush makeup and my mom now wears lashes all the time.

  I booked Gina for hair and makeup for myself, 7 bridesmaids, and 2 flower girls. She was seriously amazing! We all looked our best and were ready to go on schedule. At the end of my wedding (15 hours later) my hair and makeup were still looking as flawless as when I left for the ceremony! Couldn't recommend her enough!

  Let me start this review by saying I have rarely liked the outcome of getting my makeup professionally done in the past so I was really nervous about finding a MUA for my wedding. I researched and researched makeup artists, looking for that certain style that could be a match for what I wanted. When I came across Skin by Gina, not only was she backed up by some really impressive reviews, the gallery of her work on her website and the pictures her clients had posted were sensational and set her apart. And when I met her in person for the trial, I knew immediately she was the girl for the job! She knocked my hair and makeup trial out of the park and when it came to the wedding, I literally teared up when I took that first glance in the mirror. She did such a beautiful job. I felt absolutely gorgeous. Gina is a true talent – and such a kind soul! She has such a calming, kind presence and is so easy to talk to – it’s like having a friend doing your hair and make-up…and that’s a wonderful added bonus on a whirlwind of a day as your wedding day! I would recommend her a million times over!

  Gina was amazing! She was the perfect balance of giving her professional suggestions and listening to what I wanted for my hair and makeup. I don't wear much makeup normally and I was worried about scaring my husband off on my wedding day, but Gina made me look and feel like a princess from a fairy tale! My husband was crying and speechless! She used the perfect colors and tones to make the makeup and my face look natural and flawless! She helped me figure out how to wear my hair so that it matched what I wanted, my dress, and would look great with my specific hair type and length. Her experience with brides not only put me at ease with the job, but she said all the right things reminding me to breathe and enjoy every moment. She was supportive, flexible, punctual, and so much fun to have while all the girls were getting ready. I would HIGHLY recommend her to ANYONE for ANY event. She will leave you more than satisfied and will raise your standards for all vendors.

She drove out to Monterey for my trial and was really flexible with the date/time since I only had one weekend in the area before my wedding! My bridesmaids all have very different tastes and her and her assistant seemed to capture each of their styles perfectly. She was also pretty calming the day of, making sure to calm my nerves!   I was pretty overwhelmed when I started looking for someone to do my hair and makeup for the wedding. Gina immediately stood out as my top choice when I looked at her reviews and website. Initially I thought she was out of my price range, but after looking at several other places that cost more and seemed of lesser quality, I decided to schedule a trial. I was immediately sold by Gina's down-to-earth attitude, willingness to really listen to what I wanted, and incredible skill. She translated a picture of a hairstyle into something that worked perfectly for me. As someone who almost never wears makeup, she made me look incredible without feeling overdone. I hired Gina right after my trial without a second thought. Gina was very communicative leading up to the wedding, making a schedule and answering any questions I had.
  
  The day of the wedding, Gina showed up promptly (at 5am!), as did the assistant she brought in to do some of the bridesmaids' hair. She immediately got to work and, though everyone was tired, had a great attitude and kept everyone laughing. Everyone was extremely happy with their hair and makeup, myself included (one of my bridesmaids is STILL raving about how amazing her eyebrows, of all things, looked!). Best of all, our looks translated so well to the camera and lasted all day. Since Gina has a ton of professional experience doing making for the camera, this doesn't surprise me.
  
  I honestly cannot recommend Gina enough. She is truly an artist with her work, and I can't imagine having worked with anyone else. If I ever had an event that required professional hair or makeup in the future, I would reach out to Gina in a second.

  Gina, is the most talented makeup and hairstylist artist when it comes to making a bride look fabulous and so beautiful inside and out. I met Gina and we instantly hit it off. She has a warm, glowing personality and wants to make you look beautiful. She has great recommendations for your hairstyle as well as you makeup on your wedding day. She did a trial run on me and came to my home. I had a chance to get to know her and feel comfortable in my own surroundings and then she performed his skills on my wedding day with perfection and took charge to get the 4 of us ready on time. She is extremely professional and very talented in making you look "how you want to look on your big day". My hair and makeup were flawless and did not need any touch ups. My bridesmaids all have long hair and she put their hair up and they all looked amazing. I would highly recommended Gina as she is a new bride herself and knows how to get the job done on time and within your budget. My family and friends all said I looked so beautiful but it was Gina's talent that got me there.

Gina is professional, personable, and very talented. She listened to what I wanted to made me feel so polished and put-together! I also LOVED the feeling of airbrushed makeup. It held up so well on my wedding day and I highly recommend it - especially if you've never tried it!

  I loved working with Gina. She was very professional and punctual! Love that she emailed me a timeline of what girls were doing their hair and makeup at what time. Her airbrush work is amazing. I decided to wear my hair down for my wedding because my hair holds a good curl however my hair did not last for some reason by the time I got the church I had to curl my hair again. However my bridesmaids that did an updo their hair was perfect the entire day! I would definitely recommend Gina she was amazing!
