I can’t say enough about this group. Their attention to detail and to make sure I was happy the entire night of the reception was more than I could ask for. Very organized leading up to the wedding and made me feel very comfortable! Highly recommend!! -

They made everything so smooth!
Timothy with Higher Love was a joy to work with. Not only did they have fantastic packages to add to the event, he was great walking me through details that I was unsure about and things I had missed. We got emails as the event approached with recommended checkpoints to keep us on track, and a great, easy to work with online system to select songs and genres for the reception.
On the day of, the team was punctual and professional. They had reached out to my photographer and other vendors for cohesion and it showed. Not only was he able to take requests and weave them in expertly, he had some mashups that slayed!! Beautiful interjects to transition between events and awesome flexibility to adjust timing and order of reception activities. -

Devin was great. We planned for an outside wedding. It poured on our wedding day and even though we had a back up plan in place, things got a little crazy trying to figure out everything while guest were already arriving. I don’t think I saw Devin without a smile on his face. He handled all the last minute changes so well (even though I was panicking inside for him he reassured me that all is great and to not worry about it). With him being cool, calm and collected it made my day so much enjoyable. He kept us dancing all night. Thank you Devin!! -

Higher Love Entertainment is the DJ company raises the freaking BAR, and so much better than your typical corny wedding DJ!
Timothy and his team were simply the best! Very professional, knowledgeable and prepared, but definitely not your average DJ that you typically think of. We had more of a difficult set up we wanted, and it was just too chilly that day to make it work, so he was easily able to modify the set up and it was better than we had hoped for! He took care of so many things and it helped relieve some of our worry. Not to mention he made sure we had our drinks during dinner and whatever our bridal party needed.
He had tons of prepared playlists for different parts of the day, and was able to get all of the specific songs I requested for the special moments, even our more obscure first dance song. He was even able to help me surprise my parents with their wedding song they never got to dance to! All of our friends & family loved him and two of my bridesmaids asked him to be their DJ. And the best thing was that at my bridesmaids wedding, our 1 year anniversary was close and he remembered and played our first dance song for us!
You will definitely not be disappointed, and I can’t recommend Higher Love Entertainment enough! -

Dj TestaRossa with Higher love entertainment absolutely went above and beyond for my husband an I on our wedding day! Not only is he an amazing Dj, but he literally coordinated our entire wedding day and it was the smoothest wedding I ever witnessed! He has great affordable packages and is so easy to communicate with! Very organized with helping build a timeline for the day of etc. I highly highly recommend him and his company! -

Tim was an excellent DJ and overall just a great guest at our wedding. Easy to work with, great jokes and dressed nearly as good as me! Conveniently checking in with us throughout the entire night to make sure we are happy and dancing into our beautiful new marriage. -

My son just recent got married at an outside venue in Brown county where Tim was the DJ.
They did an awesome job with hosting and the music. It was very professional and well done and really kept the party going! Would highly recomend for any occasion. -

DJ Testa Rossa was amazing throughout our whole experience! He made sure we were taken care of throughout the night and was so flexible with schedule changes and worked with our coordinator very well. When we were getting our wedding pictures taken he came outside and asked if we needed anything and brought us waters! He came in early and set up and worked with the venue layout and had music playing the entire night. We ended up having the dance floor outside due to COVID and he made it happen no problem. I am so happy we chose him for our wedding. He has such a happy and fun spirit and is just a well rounded DJ. He also traveled all the way to Louisville for us and set up meeting over the phone to accommodate us instead of having to drive to meet. He definitely goes above and beyond what you could even expect. If you go with him you won’t regret it! -

I will try and keep this short, but I need to save fellow brides the heartache/headache of hiring this vendor. In short, please do not hire. I read rave reviews which led to me hiring and now we will always regret not hiring another vendor for our big day. VERY unorganized, TERRIBLE communication.
I love music and figured to make it as easy as possible and to make sure some of my favorite songs were played, I spent hours HAND PICKING every. single. playlist. for our wedding from ceremony seating, cocktail hour, dinner, to dancing at the end. All they had to do was press play. I sent these to him via email. he does NOT like to communicate via email and instead when its convenient for him (and not necessarily you) will call you 5 times in a row by the way. this is not an exaggeration. ten minutes before im due to wall down the aisle, my planner comes and tells me he doesnt have the dancing playlist... (which i finished weeks before, not sure why he waited last minute to ask). sent this to him. IT WAS NOT PLAYED AT ALL. (at this point i was so upset I just didnt want to deal with him and let it go, but i will always be so upset by this... all of my favorite songs i planned to dance to and hand picked. blatantly ignored even after interrupting me moments before the ceremony...)
I asked for the uplighting to be "candlelight" color multiple times.. I saw some green uplighting the night of my wedding.
Had to tell him multiple times we lived out of state and once when reminding after receiving a text around 4 AM, I received a rude response and then later was told he would "try and write it down and remember". (none of my other vendors had issue with remembering even with how busy the wedding industry is right now)
We were REALLY hiring this company above all else for this amazing photo booth/mirror that we were sold and sent a promo video of, only
"two in the state". It was so sleek and cool, looked like a mirror with a gold frame and had fun games and moving logos, a lot of cool stuff. What we got was almost nothing like the video we were sent. It was so disappointing... It was huge, in what looked like a bulletproof case and was nothing like the video I was sent.
We were told a "graphic designer" was going to work on a wedding logo for us so I sent an example over a month out. A few days before my wedding I was sent a logo that I thought was a joke it was so awful. I really couldn't believe they thought it was ok to send to a client. it looked like something someone would make on microsoft paint. I ended up "designing" the logo on a free logo maker on google last minute instead..
this review is already so long and I could honestly go on sadly, but I will end now and hope I made my point. We just want to forget about this vendor because thinking back just makes us incredibly frustrated. We hope this helps other couples make a better decision.
