Josh and Heidi Bridge wedding at Knotty Barn

I can't say enough about DJ Dave! His ability to connect with us and make sure our day was awesome speaks volumes. His style and enthusiasm make all the difference, trust me, he is awesome!!

The best dj!

Dave is super fun, easy going, and a total pro. He’ll work with you to create the exact vibe and energy you’re going for, and is excellent at reading the room and adjusting as needed. He even was able to get the uncommon music requests we made ahead of time. 10/10 would recommend him for your wedding or any event.

The Easiest Decision You’ll Make

We were very picky when searching for our DJ because we’re both really into music and wanted a DJ that would listen to us and also make the night flow well. We met with DJ Dave over the phone and there was an instant connection. He recognized our personalities and appreciated our taste in music. Dave created a website where you can plan all of the details such as song requests, special dances, toasts, etc. This made the process so easy and organized. We could contact Dave anytime we had questions and he would be happy to jump on a call with us. On the wedding day, Dave came into the bridal suite to confirm all of the details with me again. He had everything correct and ready to go but he also gave me a hug and reassured me that everything was going to be perfect, which it was. Dave was exactly what we wanted in our DJ and he was so much more than that. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the night to make sure he was meeting our expectations. He played all of the songs that we asked for and followed all of the requests we made. We wouldn’t have changed a single thing about it. When looking for your DJ, I highly recommend meeting with Dave to see if he’s the right fit for you.

Look no further - DJ Dave is the BEST of the BEST!

DJ Dave is incredible at what he does! We couldn't have asked for a friendlier, more energetic, communicative, knowledgeable, efficient DJ for our wedding at The Highland Loft. The moment we met him, we knew he was the guy for us! His organization skills and extensive personalized planning tools made our music selections so easy on us. He stayed in contact with us throughout the entire planning process to make sure that we had a professional helping us the entire way through. He made the process as stress-free as possible, and for people in the wedding planning stages, less stress is ALWAYS welcomed! From the ceremony to the dance floor (and everything in between), Dave was exceptional and was able to perfectly capture the vibe we were going for. With his vast and unparalleled knowledge of music, Dave was able to play off our guests to make sure everyone stayed hyped up, dancing, and partying throughout the entire reception. He even had several of our guests pleading with him to stay after the event was over because they were having such a blast! He went above and beyond and is absolutely a master at his craft. Our guests have not stopped raving about how much fun they had at our wedding, and as a newly married couple, it doesn't get better than that. We will definitely be using Dave for all of our future events. He truly made our wedding an unforgettable day and we can't thank him enough for doing such an outstanding job.

Phenomenal

Fantastic!

Dave was absolutely wonderful! He really was “high energy” and made sure that he was clear on pronunciation of all of the names and that he had all of the music choices correctly so that our big day would be perfect! He was out on the dance floor singing and dancing with everyone and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! My cousin was getting married soon after my wedding and she wanted to cancel her DJ so that she could have DJ Dave as well. Overall, I could not have been happier with my decision for Dave to be our DJ!

DJ Dave is hands down the best!

Dj Dave was absolutely phenomenal and we are so fortunate to have found him to be our DJ! He really took the time to sit with us for as long as it took to go over the timeline, correct pronunciation of names, song requests, etc. His energy is so positive and radiant and he can make everyone feel comfortable. He'll check in with the bride and groom on the day of the wedding to make sure everything is going smoothly and keep the energy up the whole time. He's more than our DJ, he's a forever friend now! Personality fits name

Dave is the perfect DJ for a wedding. Our experience with him is second to none. From the time we signed the contract until after the wedding, he was very helpful and easy to work with. When the shutdown happened in 2020 due to Covid, he transferred our date to a new date when we decided with a new one without any hassle. We spent 2 hours talkng to him on the phone the week before the wedding to finalize details. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to set up and get a layout of the entire ceremony site. He performed music for the ceremony and reception. His passion for his job is beyond what I could imagine. Dave worked so well with the other vendors that looking from a guests perspective that they worked with each other before. He helped us pick songs that fit how we wanted the reception to go. I highly recommend him so much. I know we couldn't hire anyone better.

Amazing!!!!

DJ Dave was awesome to work with! From the first day we met him, we knew he was going to be a great fit for us and our wedding. DJ Dave is the perfect DJ

DJ Dave was absolutely incredible. Our wedding was scheduled at a venue back in late March. But the venue cancelled us and we decided to follow through with our wedding a few hours away on the same day we had planned at a cabin! So DJ Dave didn’t flake out on us. He came up there and helped us put this wedding together and honestly helped lead the night along for us like a coordinator which we no longer had. DJ Dave stepped up for us and knowing him he would do whatever you needed to make your day the best. He would have been great with the many people we invited but he was also incredible with the few that were able to come since COVID hit right about then. He can get you any song and will play it for your wedding and he scheduled it all out with perfection even with the circumstances. He will even sit with you for a few hours at your home to go over everything and get to know you. Our kids love him as well. He is the perfect DJ for a family setting and wedding with kids involved as well! We are so glad we found DJ Dave and couldn’t have been more fortunate to have him. He gave us a great deal. Can’t be beat. Give him a call and you won’t regret it.

DJ Dave was fantastic, leading up to the event he made sure to have all the details set. From pronouncing everyone's name correct in the wedding party to having all the song requests ready to go. My husband and I were planning our wedding remote and his website to put in all of our requests made it so easy/well organized. The day of he was flawless. An amazing DJ and a night to treasure

DJ Dave (High Energy Party Productions) was our DJ for our 50th Wedding Anniversary party on September 13, 2019. While we heard that he was outstanding for weddings - I can attest that he is equally outstanding for 50th Anniversaries or any other celebration where you want high energy, getting your guests interacting on the dance floor and a totally fun, memorable night. We have been to many weddings and events over the years and I can honestly say that DJ Dave was one of the best DJ's. It starts with planning and Dave planned the event with me - he has an excellent online format to capture all the details of the event - including an "event plan for the night" which helped me think through small details I would never have thought of. Dave called prior to the event and asked questions about us (as a couple) as well as the music plan - and when he found out that our wedding song was "Some Enchanted Evening" he pulled it out and played it during dinner which was very special and touching. He really cares about his clients. He is brilliant in putting the selection of music together in such a way that the guests were always involved and dancing and his interaction with the group was exceptional - he made it so much fun. We had lots of compliments on the night and how fun and energetic DJ Dave was – they all loved him, too. He helps you plan the night YOU want and then he takes the lead and makes it happen - if you want, he will MC your night – making all the announcements, introductions – and putting together the best selection of your music style. A DJ will make or break a special event. Dave will MAKE your celebration – wedding, anniversary, etc – the most special, memorable, fun night that you will treasure forever. I highly recommend him.

DJ Dave is the best!

Dave is the best DJ! He was very energetic, which really helped with the energy at our reception. Throughout planning our wedding he was a huge help. When we were interested having him as our DJ, he came to our home and sat down with us. It was a huge help to get a feel of his personality, which we were instantly 100% sure he would be the perfect DJ. His website made it very easy to plan the music, the timeline of our reception, and put together our events. Whenever we had any questions he answered very fast. A few days before our wedding he called and we confirmed all the details. This was very reassuring to know we all were on the same page. The day of the event he was a huge help. He found us at our reception hall right when we got there and talked over more details. He did an amazing job with all of the announcements and really helped keep the fun energy for the reception. So many people that attended our wedding complimented Dave and mentioned how he was the best DJ they've seen at a wedding. Choosing a DJ is a very important decision and we were very pleased!

Dave was awesome! He was our DJ for our wedding at Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ this past May. He made the night one to remember! He was very professional in every conversation we had with him he even met us in person in Chicago for our wedding in Arizona before we even chose him. He did our ceromony and reception and everything went flawlessly. We really appreiciated how organized and how well he communicated with the wedding cordinator, photographers, minister, best man, and maid of honor throughout the night. We worked with DJ Dave for our wedding in February 2019. His website made the planning a breeze and he was extremely helpful along the way as we were planning our wedding from 1200 miles away. DJ Dave was informative and you could tell from the start that his only goal was to make sure that you had the best day possible. He was very interactive and just an all around blast to work with.

Best Decision for Music

DJ Dave was super supportive and helpful. We sat with him before the wedding and there were ideas and songs that my husband and I didn't even think about. He was able to help us plan the event a little better and it was super easy. My husband and I were able to sit down one night and just go through a bunch of songs and even add songs that we personally wanted that weren't already loaded. DJ Dave also worked great with my and my mother-in-law to surprise my husband with a song. Super professional and helpful, really worth it. DJ Dave did a great job with the music and was well liked as we danced a lot.

Working with DJ Dave was wonderful! We could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding. Without hesitation we booked High Energy Productions during our very first meeting with Dave and it was in fact our very first meeting in general. Dave was always very professional, quick to respond, very detailed, organized and always brought the energy. Having him provide the music for our wedding was the best decision, we knew we were in good hands. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, made sure all vendors were on the same page throughout the whole evening and even the days leading up to the wedding. My husband Mike and I were had our wedding reception party 10/14/2017. Dave was fantastic throughout the entire planning process. His attention to detail ensured that both mine and my husband's wishes were met and that everyone understand the timeline. The music library is endless and the online tool was so easy to use! Let me just start off by saying that my wedding night was truly the best night of my life. My husband Cornell and I got married on August 12 of 2017. I STILL have friends and family talking about how much fun they had at my wedding. Dave's name always gets brought up in the same sentence. My friends cousin referred me to him. I was really nervous about finding the right guy. After all, Cornell and I have heard and witnessed horrible DJ's and I'm very particular about my music. As soon as I got on the phone with him, I knew. Listen, I'm not over exaggerating. You can tell this guy is a total professional just by the amount of time he put into one client. We sat on the phone and discussed my goals, my likes and dislikes and all the other little details. I enjoyed being on the phone with him! Not only is he super smart, but he is so upbeat, positive and has a great sense of humor. He has patience and doesn't mind going the extra mile to make sure we're on the same page. I was a little stressed out prior to speaking with him and he completely changed that. He had great ideas and a very convenient and easy online login to create your own playlist, with tons and tons of songs to choose from. Cornell and I were shocked at the amount of songs we had to choose from! Take it from a girl who went from playing Frank Sinatra to Metallica. Haha! My main goal was that my guests were having genuine fun. I wanted to stop and glance around the room and see people having an amazing time. Think of your future DJ as the narrator to your book or movie. That's what I did. You can't have a bad narrator. He's the one who's announcing your first dance or your cake cutting, etc. Dave set the mood. He does a handful of things at once all while being full of life. His positive energy radiates off of him. Thank you so so much Dave! You made mine and Cornell's night so fun and memorable. You seriously make us want to find another reason to throw a party!

Dj Dave of High Energy was amazing!!!!!!! His online tools were so helpful and made it so easy to set everything up. He made sure that he stayed in contact before our wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. On the day of the wedding he arrived in plenty of time to set up and talk with the other coordinating people. He was very professional. I didn’t have to worry about anything with the music of the schedule. He made sure everyone was dancing and having fun. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

The day my wife & I first met Dave was when we were looking into DJ's for our wedding and he was included on our venue's (Fishermen's Inn) preferred vendor list. The moment we had our first meeting with him, we knew we wanted him to be our DJ. He went above and beyond what we assumed and even expected from a DJ. Dave has a very outgoing and fun personality, always has a smile on his face and he simply just makes you want to be around him. DJ Dave was AWESOME!! We meet him at our venue open house and immediately knew he would be perfect for our day - he is so fun upbeat and charismatic. He came to our home and walked us through his services and showed us his great website which is perfect for browsing music for songs, planning etc. He was so thorough and we felt very comfortable with him leading us through the day of. All of the introductions and special songs were perfect, and the music of the reception was PERFECT! Everyone absolutely our DJ and we had multiple friends and family commenting how great he was and some got his card for their future events! The dance floor was packed all night! DJ Dave and his crew made our wedding reception absolutely perfect. From the first time we met him, we knew we could trust him to make our special day everything we wanted. He knew all of the right questions to ask and information to request, and his questionnaire for the wedding had us select song so for things we never even thought about!! Having a great DJ is such an important part of making sure everyone has a blast at your reception, and he did just that at ours! Nobody wanted the party to end. Thank you, Dave!!

High Energy Party Productions did an amazing job with our wedding September 17, 2016. My mother and I went to a bridal show really not thinking I would find anything I was looking for when DJ Dave approached us. My mother is quite blunt and is very direct with her questions, but DJ Dave took them like a champ and answered all questions very honestly. DJ Dave met us at our house where we had a great consultation. It's nice that they would go out of their way to come to us just to make us comfortable during this process. During the consultation, he was friendly, energetic, and just had great vibes overall. I knew then and there he was our guy! The site he uses for music selection was so easy to navigate and nicely organized. The site made it easy to ensure we had every song necessary for every moment of our wedding. On our wedding day, we didn't even have to worry or think about DJ Dave - he knew exactly what to do and didn't have to bother any of the wedding party to get it done, which we appreciate to this day. He and his partner were absolutely great throughout the whole wedding! They interacted with our guests, danced, and even took some pictures in our photo booth with family members! They are such welcoming people and really made this experience one to never forget. I could not be any more thankful for these guys! Nothing but compliments from our guests. I would recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! Keep up the amazing work!

High Energy Productions provided the DJ service for my wedding a few weeks ago. DJ Dave and his partner were absolutely amazing. Dave met with us way before hand and went over everything with us. His online system is easy to use and made everything go even smoother. We then had a phone conference with Dave about a week before to go over everything in detail. Dave made sure he knew how to pronounce everyone's names and knew exactly when to say what. I had so many people come to me after the wedding and say how great he was! I defiantly would recommend Dave to anyone looking for a DJ and defiantly will be using his again!

DJ Dave is going to be one of the best decisions you make for your big day. Dave started our relationship by meeting with us for over 3 hours talking about our big day, what kind of music we like, and what kind of people we are-we hit it off from the very beginning! From then on Dave helped us plan every step of the way. His interactive client website is very easy to use and guides you through the planning process of picking music for your wedding. We used Dave for both our ceremony and reception and both events went off flawlessly. About a week before our wedding Dave had another extensive meeting with us where he went through every moment of the ceremony, confirmed all of the details, and even coached us on making some changes that were perfect. Unfortunately during our ceremony the fire alarm went off at about 10:30pm and we were terrified our guests were all going to leave after standing outside for 30mins while the hotel figured out the problem. Not only did Dave take command of the situation for us, he had all of our guests back on the dance floor within minutes of getting back into the hotel. They ended up giving us an extra hour of reception and Dave kept the dance floor FULL until they turned the lights on and kicked us out. Dave is a wonderful professional who loves what he does and it will show in his work. Thanks for everything DJ Dave!

DJ Dave was ABSOLUTELY the right pick for our wedding DJ. He was so much more than a DJ. He really did become more like our event coordinator for our wedding. He took the time on many occasions to make certain that all of my concerns and worries were relieved for the day. Hire DJ Dave! Our wedding vendor told us DJ Dave was the best, and he exceeded our expectations. Throughout the wedding planning process, he was professional, communicative, and available. He drove to our home to meet with us in person. With his expertise and large music selection, we were able to pick the perfect music for our wedding from the ceremony through the reception. Our wedding reception was a huge success and we are very happy that we chose DJ Dave. Our first meeting was at the location of our reception. He spent time getting to know us and learning what types of music we are interested in. He taught us how to use his website which made picking out our favorite songs easy. I have known Dave for a few years now. I have known for a long time I wanted him as my DJ for my wedding. I knew with out a doubt he would give me a 5 star performance and he didn't let me down. We were about an hour late to the ceremony and he did a fantastic job of catering to our guests. Keeping them busy while we finished up our pictures. Dj Dave did an awesome job on my wedding. The man knows what he's doing. This guy came with back-ups prepared, he had music that kept the place rockin' all night. My wife and I felt great when the night was all over. It was kind of unique. he made sure we were taken care of, he really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and made sure we were satisfied. The man's a Dj, i've been around many DJ'S and none have ever checked on us like that and he checked on us all night for little things also to see if we were ok, temperature, he kept a constant communication on upcoming parts of the wedding. Which allowed us to prepare for things like speeches, entrances, toasts, all the tosses for women and men. he let us know ahead of time what was coming up to be ready in 10 minutes for the best man and maid of honor speeches, that made sure we got the bathroom breaks cleared so no interruptions of the speeches. also if we needed a little time, we simply told him we might need an extra 10 minutes, and he was fine with it. he held the crowd off until we were ready. He has awesome chemistry with the audience/ our families with special requests. He knows how to handle and juggle everything professionally and neatly. He puts on a great show, not to mention the announcements went off to a perfection. he's good. in the end, my wife and I didn't have a doubt that we made a really good choice for a dj. he's worth every penny. we are really happy with the results and the man's a music genius. Played great music all night. You won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave was just the DJ for our wedding and he was awesome! The dance floor was packed all night! He also paid attention to the details and was very thorough in going over everything: ceremony music, which versions of songs, pronunciation of names, the timeline etc. This was crucial because we had an unusual venue and we really needed him to be orchestrating the event. He did this perfectly. He was more expensive than other DJs I was looking at but it was definitely worth it for the peace of mind I had knowing he would do an excellent job.

Absolutely great DJ! We worked with DJ Dave and he had the perfect personality for our wedding and was super accommodating to all our requests before and during the wedding. He has a great selection of music and is willing to really help you find the correct songs. He is also very knowledgeable about the entire wedding process, which was good since we had not planned a wedding before! Also, he met with us face-to-face when we had our initial meeting, which I really liked. Online payments also made the process easy. We were also happy that there was a deal going on when we booked because we had a modest budget. We got a ton of comments on how great the DJ was, so I highly recommend this DJ!

DANCE FLOOR WAS PACKED- THE WHOLE NIGHT

My big hope was that we would have a wedding were our dance floor was PACKED the whole night. DJ Dave did just that and more...since we ended up extending the length of our reception because EVERYONE was having a blast! The music was PERFECT and DJ Dave knew exactly what music to play to keep everyone moving! DJ Dave made the music planning part of our wedding easy and fun. He came to us to meet us for the first time and gave us his website to plan our music. He kept the night moving along and the dance floor was NEVER empty. Dave was attentive, well spoken, and very accommodating to our requests. I would recommend High Energy DJ's to anyone for their wedding and should I have another occasion to plan I wouldn't think about using another DJ service. DJ Dave is the best and was a key factor in making the biggest night of our lives everything we could imagine and more.

Dave and his partner made our wedding absolutly perfect! We had a seletion of songs that were not traditional and we had pieced together a couple to give our special day that unique touch. Dave at High Energy was easy to communicate with and was willing to do whatever it took to make our day exactly what we wanted it to be. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a fun, friendly "life of the party" DJ. They got the guests on the dance floor and everyone had a great time. Dave was the DJ at our wedding and he did an awesome job. I have known him for several years and worked with him at many receptions (myself as a photographer) and he is always the best. Anytime I walk into a reception that Dave is working I know it is going to be a smooth reception. I highly recommend him!

DJ Dave was incredible! He was professional, easy to work with and energetic. He made wonderful recommendation and helped to make our evening perfect. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone still tells us how much fun they had. I definitely recommend him 100%!

Dave was in contact with us throughout the entire process and we had multiple conversation prior to the wedding to ensure that everyone was on the same page. He DJ'd both our ceremony and reception, as well as MC'd the dinner and speeches. Everything went great and we had a beautiful wedding and perfect day.

We hired Dave with High Energy for our backyard pig roast. As a result of the success from the party I decided to hire him a year later for my sister's wedding because I knew he wouldn't let us down. He exceeded every single one of our expectations. Not only was he professional, friendly, entertaining, and energetic, but he was more than accommodating and very interactive with us and all of our guests. He has the most articulate and distinct voice out of any DJ I have ever encountered when it comes to announcements and working the crowd. He is extremely organized and helpful from the beginning of the process until the end of your event.

Not sure how to put in words how amazing our wedding experience was because of High Energy Party Productions. From the time we got married 8 years ago we have referred him to so many friends and have used them everytime we needed a DJ! We haven't had a negative response yet. You won't regret this decision. DJ Dave was awesome and helped make for a blast of a reception. Even prior to the reception he was always helpful and friendly in our decision making process. I found him to be consistently available and willing to answer any questions we had. On the day of the wedding he helped us set-up for our ceremony and do a quick overview of what he would be doing that day. He got right in there with our wedding party and was a huge contributer to an amazing night! If I had to do it all over again I would continue to use High Energy Party Productions!

We got a DJ at the very last minute. Dave did a great job at creating a mood for our ceremony. I was so happy and it was great that he did exactly what we asked. We had a ceremony/luncheon and I wanted everything perfect and IT WAS PERFECT! The music set the tone for the entire day. Would def give High Energy 2 thumbs up and recommend them to everyone I know getting married or having a function in the future!! :)
