Jordan and Charles are nothing but amazing!! this was a destination wedding for us, and they made it the easiest processes, with phone calls and emails leading up to the day to ensure everything went so smoothly. Our video was ready so fast, then we got the flash drive with all of our raw footage, and it is so fun to sit and click through all of that footage and see their POV of our day. The best team ever and we were so blessed to get to work with Jordan and have Charles as our second shooter. could not imagine a more perfect team for our perfect Maui day

No Power, No Problem!

Jordan and his team (we worked with Charles) were absolutely amazing! He showed up and captured our wedding beautifully in the middle of the severe Kona storm. We had lost power the night before, so our entire event was only lit only by candles and the battery-powered spotlights he brought with him, yet HI FOCUSED Cinema still produced an epic wedding video that captured our day so perfectly.

He was flexible, creative, and calm despite the chaos of our outdoor ceremony and first look being relocated at the last minute. He found gorgeous pockets of space within our small venue to ensure our video felt personal, intimate, and romantic, and even spent extra time making sure he captured all of our most important details (i.e. family heirlooms, lei, wedding rings).

The quality of his work is incredible, his turnaround time was fantastic (less than a month!), and his calm, confident, and professional presence put our entire family at ease—which made such a difference on an otherwise stressful day. Truly worth every penny. We couldn’t recommend HI FOCUSED Cinema more!

Truly Hawaii's Best Wedding Cinematographer

We are so glad we chose Hi Focused for our wedding videography! The final video turned out to be truly one of a kind and so unique to us. The way they captured our day, especially with the stunning drone shots, took our breath away. The aerial footage added such an epic, cinematic touch that made our wedding look like it was straight out of a movie.

We knew we wanted the best videographer on the island, so we booked Hi Focused a year in advance — and it was one of the best decisions we made! It was truly an amazing investment that we will treasure forever.

One thing we really appreciated was how the camera crew blended in so naturally — they never felt intrusive or in the way. They captured every important moment and so many genuine candid shots, all while letting us and our guests enjoy the day without feeling like we were constantly being filmed.

Great experience!

We had overall a great experience with Jordan and hilight films. I appreciated the communication before the wedding day to go over timelines/ what to expect and explain what I was wanting for pictures! Our pictures and wedding video turned out better than expected. I’ve watched the video at least 20 times in the first 24 hours I got it, it truly captured our perfect day and is so fun to re-live it!

Wonderful to work with, even better final product!

My husband and I used Jordan from Hi Focused back in September of 2024 to capture video from our intimate wedding at the Four Seasons on Maui. Before we even packed for Hawaii he had already had a phone appointment with us, making us feel totally at ease and giving us the chance to share any ideas we had or concerns we couldn't shake.
The day of the wedding he was at our room on the MINUTE he said he would meet us. He had that perfect mix of seeming laid back, which helps everyone around him relax (which is needed for such a big day), but also having purpose in his work and making sure every moment got captured from every angle.
Don't let his calm demeanor trick you into thinking he is not happy to be doing this work. Rather, he is so knowledgeable and comes with a plan, that the prep allows him to be a source of levity during the chaotic hours leading up to the wedding.
The results were absolutely incredible. The turn around time was quicker than what he estimated. Which was a fabulous surprise when we got the link to our video.
We've watched it repeatedly and of course our family members haven't stopped watching it.
On a personal note, my Mother unexpectedly passed away a few weeks after our wedding. It was fantastic to have the pictures from the wedding, along with the photos we took on our own phones for the rest of the trip.
BUT it was the video that Jordan captured that I will forever cherish. It not only perfectly captured the love and excitement being shared on the day of the wedding. But, unbeknownst to anyone at the time, he was also capturing something immeasurable more special.
I felt informed and heard before we left for the wedding. He showed up on time, incredibly kind and calm. He had plans in his head and you could see him shift smoothly to a different idea if the sunlight or the weather wasn't being cooperative. He would flip to a new idea smoothly and it would turn out just as good as anything he could've had planned.
If you can't tell, I would highly recommend HI FOCUSED for any of your videography needs. I already told him that when we return for anniversaries, and maybe to spread my Mom's ashes, that we would be calling him to help capture the special moments.
Do yourself a favor and reach out to them. Their work is unmatched and their customer service is beyond reproach.

The perfect proposal!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend on a trip to Maui in July 2024. I've been to other islands before but this was my first trip to Maui and I was unfamiliar with the island and where I should propose. I reached out to a coworker who used to live in Maui for any proposal locations and he sent me a link to Hi Focused Cinematography and highly recommended I review the website and videos. After reviewing proposal and wedding videos on the website I immediately contacted Jordan and he was fantastic. Afer an initial phone call and discussion of what I was looking for, Jordan provided me with several locations where he could capture the moment live and covertly. Jordan was responsive, answered questions and provided detailed instructions for the big day. His technical experience, knowledge of Maui, and professionalism made the entire process smooth and perfect.
My fiance and I were so pleased with the beautiful video Jordan made of our proposal we are now contemplating a destination wedding in Maui and having Jordan capture our wedding. I have since recommended Hi Focused Cinematography to several other friends who were traveling to Maui and were looking for a photographer or cinematographer.

Leading up to the wedding, Jordan took the time to walk us through the day-of logistics, asking thoughtful questions to ensure every important detail was captured. It was clear he genuinely cared about making our vision come to life.
On the wedding day, Jordan and his team were exceptionally friendly, instantly making us feel like we’d known them forever. As a couple who is naturally shy in front of the camera, we were blown away by how comfortable they made us feel. 15 year wedding anniversary Vow renewal

We had a wonderful experience with Jordan and we would recommend him to anyone seeking a videographer for their wedding, vow renewal, or even just a once in a lifetime family keepsake video. I contacted Jordan to see if he could video our vow renewal on Po’olenalena beach, but also include our four children a bit more by capturing some family footage of us enjoying our time as a family on Maui together. He did a wonderful job getting video of our family on cliffs, forests, feeding ducks, and snorkeling. And then he did an amazing job weaving those video segments in with our vow renewal. The finished product was incredibly professional and well done. I am so happy that we chose Jordan to capture those special moments for our family and I will cherish the video forever.

Gorgeous POV of our special day

Our early wedding plans did not include a videographer, but looking back on our day we could not be happier that we decided on Hi Focused! Jordan was so easy to work with, flexible in adding additional time to our day, and helpful in giving us a realistic view into what the ideal wedding day film schedule should look like. We are not naturals in front of the camera, so his direction and great vibe helped us relax and enjoy capturing footage. He not only captured all of the "big" moments, but also shot our entire ceremony for those who couldn't be there. He was nearly invisible, but also ever present, capturing the best content. Ali and Ryan Engagement

“A picture is worth a thousand words”
Late last year, I found Jordan by chance on Instagram. I was looking for excursions and different places to visit during our family trip to Maui for the first time ever. A surprise I had beyond the family trip was to create the most beautiful engagement proposal I could possible think of. When I found Jordan’s Instagram page and website, I knew instantly he would be the one to capture all of my ideas and most importantly the love I have for Ali. As our trip began to approach, Jordan walked me through every step of the proposal process from A-Z! He was available every time I had questions.
Proposal day: Jordan worked hand in hand with my mother who helped keep this entire day a secret. Jordan met me out front of the lobby to get mic’d up and assured me to have fun, breathe, and let him capture it all. Jordan’s professional and ability to connect with me was everything I could ask for and more. When Ali and I received our official video and photographs, we were driving on the road to Hana. Out of excitement we pulled over and couldn’t believe this video was of the two of us. It was our love story captured by Jordan and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to tell our story than him! Wonderful 4K memory of our wedding day on Maui

Jordan and his team did a tremendous job capturing all the highlights of our big day. He was responsive and easy to work with. After he sent the initial video, we asked if there was any way he could add one particular shot. He gladly made the small change for no charge. The edited final product was absolutely stunning and EXACTLY what we wanted. You could tell he wanted us to be 100% satisfied with the final product. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Amazing cinematic memories!

For a bride who is a professional photographer and a groom who is a documentary producer/editor, we wanted a top-notch director of photography/cinematographer to film our wedding day. And Jordan is exactly that.

Most Professional Wedding Video EVER

If you are looking for an extremely professional video (movie quality) of your wedding day that will make you think you are watching a romantic movie when you see yourselves, look no further. My dream was to have a wedding video that captured our love and special day so perfectly, that truly evoked emotions each time I re-watched the video. You will not regret choosing Jordan and his team for your special day, his pricing is definitely not low, however I learned you do get what you pay for. Since this is a once in a lifetime day and memory, trust me it's worth it. Our family and friends could not believe their eyes when they saw how our video came out. Our wedding film perfectly captures the images, sounds, energy and spirit of our magical day. We opted for the extended 8 min film and are so glad we did! Look no further--go with Jordan!

Jordan was the videographer for our daughter's Kauai wedding, and he is phenomenal. From our first meeting, he was the ultimate professional, asking very specific questions to ensure that he captured every shot we wanted. During the ceremony and reception, he was reassuring and unobtrusive, working seamlessly with our photographer. The end result? His drone footage is spectacular, and the videos, delivered in record time, are amazing! We wanted a short, 7 minute, and long version, and they were all so close to perfect, including the music, that we only asked for one tiny change. That never happens! Jordan is a great storyteller, and captured the emotion, the joy, and the beauty of every moment. I didn't cry at the wedding, but I cried when watching the videos. In my marketing job, I've worked with many fabulous LA and NYC videographers, but Jordan is simply the best.

Best investment we made!

We are so incredibly happy that we chose Hi Focused for our wedding day! Our wedding films have been the best investment that we made for our wedding! The product and quality of the films that Jordan has produced for us are incredible.

From the beginning, Jordan has been very kind and considerate of our wants and needs out of what we wanted filmed. Along with his 2nd shooter Amber, they were both so fun to work with for the entire day of our wedding!

Maui’s Best for a Reason

Jordan knows what he’s doing and it shows. He was proactive from the start asking all the right questions to set everything up smoothly. He was lightning fast with responses and communication. Amber, his teammate was excellent as well; the pair gave clear cues and instructions for my awkward husband and I in front of the camera. They made it fun and were easy to work with. By the end of our day we felt like we made two new friends. Fast forward to a week later and we were blown away by our final video. It brought my hubby to (happy) tears. We've had the privilege of experiencing Jordan from HiFocused's incredible work not just at our own wedding but also at my sister and brother-in-law's wedding back in 2018. Choosing him for our Maui wedding celebration at the Andaz Hotel and St. Theresa Church was among our best decisions.

Speechless… and thankful!

WOW. We were speechless by the services we received from Hi Light Films, and by Jordan himself.

Videography is one of the best investments for your special day, as it is the BEST way to remember it all. And investing in a high quality company like Hi Light Films is the way to ensure you are getting just that.

We eloped in Maui, Hawaii in the morning— we received our highlight film by the next morning! The turnaround time for edits was unreal.

Perfection from start to finish!

Where to begin! This review has been a long time coming since my husband and I got married at the Olowalu Plantation House in August 2022. Needless to say that we (along with all of our friends and family) are OBSESSED with our wedding film! Working with Hilight Films is one of the best investments we made for our wedding day.

Jordan was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We loved that he consulted with us in advance on the type of vibe we wanted as well as aligning on specific moments we wanted to capture. We were looking for a more upbeat video with plenty of focus on our guests and venue details so we could fully soak in the atmosphere of our wedding day when we watch our film in the future.

Day of the wedding Jordan was a total pro. I'm particular on details and had 0 worries throughout the afternoon and evening that everything we wanted would get captured under his direction. He was great at giving direction and was meticulous about setting up the right shots.

As for the final product...no words! Everything we wanted and more. Even the background music lyrics mirror the sentiments conveyed in our vows, along with other themes that came up during toasts throughout the night (too closely for it to be coincidental, so I attribute this to the creative genius of the Hilight team!)

100% recommend picking the Hilight team to capture your special day, you won't regret it! Also if you're thinking about adding the drone footage - stop thinking and just DO it, worth every penny to have an aerial view of your venue!

Cannot Recommend HIFOCUSED Enough!

So glad we chose Hi Focused for our wedding videography! We were presented with a few videographer recommendations from our event planner and chose them based on the quality and all of the details they include in their packages. Jordan was super helpful. We had a meeting prior to the wedding to talk through details and any expectations we had. On the day of Jordan and his second videographer were great! They were both professional and really fun to work with. My husband and I eloped and I was worried the video may not be up to par with content from a big wedding, but I was definitely proven wrong. All of the special moments were captured perfectly and the video was beyond our expectations. Also a huge surprise was how quickly the film was turned around. By the time we were home from the rest of our vacation the video was within days of being available which was amazing! I watched it over and over just captivated by the film and truly obsessed with how magical the video was. We’ve received so much post I’ve feedback regarding the film and our family was so happy to have a look at our big day through this video. Cannot recommend Hi Focused enough!

Amazing Team & Great Value

TLDR: Book with Hi Light Films for your wedding! You won't regret it!!!

My husband and I are not used to the camera/attention at all. We had Amanda and Charles from Jordan's team and they were amazing. Amanda's energy is so contagious, she definitely made us feel at home.

Turn around time for the video was less than 2 weeks. Which was such a pleasant surprise. They work so fast, yet their video was done SO beautifully!!! Jordan had also been super helpful even after our event on helping us look for specific videos. Jordan's communication throughout the whole process has been professional and kind. Really enjoyed everyone on the team! Thank you for such an amazing work!

Dream Come True!

Jordan and his team did a great job capturing our wedding. The video looked like it was a movie. His staff was very helpful and fun to be around. The drone footage was unreal. Very happy we worked with him! He made our special day absolutely incredible, it truly was a dream come true!

Absolutely amazing video and photos!

We are still in awe of the epic video and pictures we recieved! Jordan and his team are so incredibly talented! I still cannot believe how amazing everything turned out and Jordan truly made it so incredibly easy! The whole process was so stress free and he is so charismatic and truly invested in making your day special. I can't imagine having gone with anyone else! Jordan truly went above and beyond!! Breathtaking Video to Remember Our Special Day

Working with Jordan and his team was amazing! They were super helpful keeping the day moving and got tons of coverage of the entire wedding. Jordan was very easy to communicate with had all the right equipment, from high end cameras to drones. Both the 6 min video and 40 min doc came out great. The quality of the video is excellent and everyone that watches it is always super impressed. We are so happy that we had Hi Focused capture our day. Now we can look back and remember our wedding whenever we want and the footage is absolutely breathtaking!

Jordan makes the best films

It was fantastic working with Jordan. We found Jordan after watching hours of different cinematographers but his films had so much soul and life in them, it was an easy decision to make.

Jordan was friendly, approachable and very easy to reach. He listened to what we wanted, but at the same time maintained professional control over the final product. He was able to implement our vision and more. We are so in love with our wedding film and have received so many compliments from people we’ve shared it with!

We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to help immortalize our special day.

We highly recommend HiFocused!! :) Jordan and his team filmed our wedding in February and we are so grateful for them and their hard work! We watch our wedding film all the time and cannot believe they were able to capture some of our most intimate moments. Exceeded our expectations!

WOW. Stop right now, and hire Jordan! He knocked it out of the park! My husband and I got married on Kauai, and we told Jordan our vision and he listened to us and made our vision come to life better than we ever imagined. He was super easy to work with. He made sure he had all the details for our special day, listened to what we wanted, and was very quick to respond to our calls and emails. My husband and I are both in the wedding industry, I'm a photographer and he is a DJ. So our expectations were extremely high. Jordan exceeded those expectations. We showed our family our video and they were in tears (as were we) watching it. We are BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful film he did. We couldn't have dreamed of a better video!

Our whole experience working with Hi Light Films has been fantastic! We would highly recommend them for any of your film needs. When we were searching for our wedding videographer (we looked at a LOT), Jordan was always very prompt and helpful. We loved their style and decided to move forward with them. Jordan arranged a meeting leading up to our big day to make sure his team understood the timeline of our day, made sure we talked about important details or moments we wanted captured, etc. The two videographers who shot our day were professional and fun. The turnaround time on receiving our final wedding film was extremely fast and the video was INCREDIBLE! They captured every.single.thing and we were blown away by the final product. We couldn't have dreamed of a better video. All our family and friends who have seen it are raving at how great it turned out! Wedding of K and C

We planned our dream wedding in Maui. After enduring two and a half years of COVID, we wanted our families and friends to experience something that allowed them to feel normal again. It was so important to capture this experience, so we asked our wedding coordinator to recommend a list of videographers. We had several choices, but there was really only one that stood out, Jordan and his team at High Focused.
Jordan has a vision. He has a great team and years of experience. There were no surprises and the entire process was seamless. He is an excellent communicator, and has an artistic style and personality that make you feel that his job is one less thing that you need to be concerned about. He worked very well with our wedding coordinator and our photographer. He also has great skills in drone videographer and captured some wonderful sweeping shots of the beautiful venues in Maui. He is not cheap, but the cost was more than worth it. There is nothing more important than having a movie-quality recording of the most important day in your lives. His turn-around-time for production of the final cut was very good. Everyone that saw our wedding video loved it and we were showered with compliments. We will never stop watching it and we are so thankful that we chose High-Focus. You can not go wrong with Jordan. We HIGHLY recommend him and his team.. Thank you Jordan for capturing the most important event of our lives.

South Maui Gardens Wedding

It's been 4 months since our wedding (2-2-22) on Maui at South Maui Gardens. The magical experience at the venue combined with the skills and professionalism of Jordan & Amber - made everything a dream come true! Not only is Jordan responsive in any questions or concerns that you have (at any time of the day) - he is fun, loving and will treat you as a friend. I grew to have such a genuine relationship with him before even meeting him in person (which from my experience with planning my own wedding, is truly hard to find these days! Honest & helpful) As for his talents - My husband and I can't stop watching our video. If you want the chance to relive your wedding day - over & over again - and feel as though your fairytale is forever on film - you will not be disappointed. this company - these people : They deliver 1000%. Our dream wedding, beautifully captured by Jordan Nagasako of Hi Focused

My husband and I have wanted to work with Jordan Nagasako of Hi Focused since we started planning our dream Maui wedding last year. Jordan is an incredibly talented cinematographer and storyteller. He captured every perfect moment of our dream wedding, exceeding our expectations for our wedding video. Jordan was easy to communicate and work with, and he delivered our full wedding video, raw video footage, and previews in less than two weeks. Jordan also provided short video snippets for me to use across my personal branded social media channels. As a content creator, I appreciated his thoughtfulness in providing me with different types of content for my personal branded social media channels.

The perfect day

We had the most perfect day on our wedding day thanks to Jordan and the team at HI FOCUSED Cinematography! I felt truly listened to through out all of our communication with Jordan before, during and after the wedding. On the day of our wedding I was able to enjoy every moment and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Beyond amazing

Let me just start by giving Jordan and his team a huge round of applause, and a heartfelt thank you! Their work is AMAZING!
While planning our destination wedding our coordinator had a short list of preferred videographers, let me tell you HiFocused stood out like no other. They had videos on virtually every social media platform including vimeo for us to check out. Needless to say it was one of the easiest and best wedding decisions to hire them. Their work did all the talking. I had no doubt in my mind that they would execute the perfect wedding film for us.
As our wedding date approached, Jordan reached out to schedule a brief phone call to ensure we were all on the same page and set expectations. He also made sure to ask about any special touches that we wanted to be highlighted on the film during the ceremony or any other part of the wedding.
I really only had one request and it was to capture some butterfly accents that I had added to our wedding arch that represented lost loved ones for us. A small meaningful touch that only immediate family would have understood.
Cut to the wedding day, Jordan and his associate made both my husband and I feel beyond comfortable, and to be honestly it kind of felt like we had known them for a while. That’s how comfortable they made us feel! They did provide general guidance and poses, but it felt very natural.
During a few sunset shots I noticed a small butterfly around us and I asked if they could capture it for the video. I didn’t exactly think that they would have captured anything, but I figured that it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, early the next morning I found out that a close relative passed on our wedding date. I know it may sound crazy, but I was convinced that the butterfly was her visiting us in the form of a butterfly. I emailed Jordan, and asked that whenever they got around to editing, IF he happened to get a good shot of it, I would love to have it in the film. He responded within minutes that he would do his best. Before the day was over he had actually gone out of his way to email the clip of the butterfly and a few stills of it as well. My family, husband and I are eternally grateful.

I share this to not only highlight how responsive and accommodating they are. They really do go above and beyond their menu list on their website and pamphlet and make it a point to be personable. If you made it this far into my review, don't bother looking into other videographers, you already stumbled across the best team on the Island. Guaranteed!

Hire this man!

Jordan at HI Focused was nothing short of amazing. He showed up with a great attitude and paid attention to detail. He had all the necessary equipment to get the best shots and angels. He captured every moment we wanted to have filmed. He exceeded my expectations with the final video. What was most impressive was how quick he edited and produced the film. He had it sent to me before I had even left the island to return home (within a week) He also allowed me to request changes to the video and was very quick and prompt in responding to me. Jordan thank you for going above and beyond for me and my husband. I have watched the video 3 thousand times and I love it very much!!! If we ever have anything we need to be filmed in the future, he would be worth the money to fly out to California. best on the island, we love him!!!!!!!

Exceptional Video and Customer Service

Beyond amazing service and wedding video

Jordan and Amber were such an awesome team to work with. They were fun and friendly and made us feel comfortable and at ease. They had us laughing throughout the entire time we were with them.

Jordan was very communicative and got us on a call before our big day to go over all of the details to make sure that he understood exactly what was important to us to be included in our video. We received our wedding video within weeks of our wedding and we are beyond AMAZED with it! Everyone we have shared it with has said it looks like a movie! I’ve watched it about 1,000 times already and I’m still astonished every time.

Best wedding videographer on Maui!!!

My husband and I were unsure if we wanted a videographer for our wedding and we are SO HAPPY that we decided to use one. We were planning a destination wedding form Seattle, WA and Jordan made it such and easy process without ever meeting him in person. We had a phone call with him prior to wedding in which he helped us plan what we wanted to be in the film and the timeline for the wedding. Amber and Charles were the videographers who shot our wedding, and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, and they kept the day organized. Jordan and his team are so talented, and our video is better than we ever could have imagined! They truly made our vision come true. It has brought tears to everyone’s eyes who has watched it. We got our final film in less than two weeks after our wedding! Jordan was also very flexible and made a few small edits to the footage included in the film before finalizing it and mailing us a copy on a USB drive. If you are debating between getting a videographer than I highly recommend using one and you will not be disappointed in Hi Light Wedding Films!

The professionalism and artistic abilities of Jordan, Amber, and Charles cannot be overstated! :)

In the weeks leading up to our wedding, my husband and I really started considering getting a videographer. We had a tough time justifying it since the wedding was going very small and we weren't sure if it was going to be worth having a really short video. We cannot emphasize how happy we are that we went through with having Hi-Light Films be a part of our special day to produce a wonderful video that was beyond our expectations.

From the very beginning, Jordan was very helpful by having an initial call to walk us through the process for what we should expect and to help him get a sense of the special moments we wanted to be captured throughout the day. On the day of the wedding our videographers, Amber and Charles, were there before the wedding coordinator and helped set everything up. While it wasn't there responsibility, it showed how above and beyond their team really went.

Within a week after the wedding, we received the wedding video and we were blown away. It was our own fairy tale movie that captured all the intimate moments we didn't expect to be caught on film. The video brought family, friends, and strangers to tears. The professionalism and artistic abilities of Jordan, Amber, and Charles cannot be overstated. We are grateful that we went with Hi-Light Films and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to memorialize their big day.

Absolutely Amazed!

I don’t know where to start! Jordan and the team were so easy to work with. The team was prepared, gave us the direction we needed to feel confident, yet very natural! Their return on our video was so quick and it turned out amazing! Amazing from start to finish!

Jordan and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with...from the initial intro call where he walked me through the process and what makes them stand out, to understanding specifically the type and length of film we wanted, to collaborating on a price that worked for us both, to the actual wedding day! The team was so prepared and fun and gave great direction while still letting the day unfold naturally. We spent so much time with our videographers and photographers so truly enjoying being around them made us feel so comfortable and confident. And when we got our video back we were FLOORED! The quality was so professional and the picture so clear and truly captured the spontaneity and beauty of our day. Jordan was totally open to feedback to get a few more scenes in our video and we were left with exactly what we wanted and can share the memories with friends and family, who have all raved about the video too :) Thank you!!

Maui wedding

Jordan and Amber were so great! We loved our 5 min video, and the raw footage that we purchased as well! It’s incredible to me that someone can take an entire wedding day and put it in a video! They captured so many moments I had not even thought about or noticed as the day was so busy and hectic as it was! The detail for everything they captured and did was so amazing! It was so easy to work with both of them also!

Most Amazing Videographer

A videographer is an investment in reliving your wedding day and enjoying the details that are so easily missed. I would 100% make the same decision to pick Jordan and his team at Hi Focused if I had to do it all over again.
I found Hi Focused when I was watching YouTube videos for my destination wedding at Merriman’s. I went from watching for Merriman’s, to only watching Hi Focused videos and I knew I wanted this company to film my wedding. Meeting Jordan (virtually) was fantastic. He asked a lot of questions to understand my wants and vision. The planning call before the wedding was thorough and well detailed. Meeting Jordan and his assistant Amber on the wedding day was fantastic. They were both detail oriented, easy going, and worked wonderfully with our photographer. I have watched and rewatched my video over and over. Unlike the beautiful flowers at our wedding, this video is something I will use and cherish for the rest of our lifetime.

Exceptional and professional!

I don't know where to start!

We got the cinematic package for our elopement in Maui, and the video is superb. It's hard to put into words how much it means to us, but Jordan and his team at Hi Light films created exactly what we wanted (and more!) to remember our special day. Incredible quality and true talent at capturing emotions. In addition, Jordan called us weeks beforehand to discuss our vision and was always very prompt and courteous in his communication with us. Truly professional!

Our videographer team was Amber and Matt. They were so calm, creative, and enjoyable to be around! They made us entirely comfortable while filming and did an incredible job. I can't say enough about them and can only hope they know how special they are! Than you both!

To summarize as best as I can, Jordan and his team are exceptional. True masters of the craft with great personalities as a bonus. You'd be CRAZY to not book them, and if you get the opportunity you won't regret it!! Mahalo Jordan and team! ♡ Olivia & Kevin

Best wedding film ever!!!!

We knew Hi Focused Cinematography because the team is one of the approved cinematographies for Haiku Mill. After reviewing all the cinematographies, we decided to go with Hi Focus. It proved that our choice is absolutely right. Jordan is very experienced and knows his stuff. He provided us a lot of useful suggestions so that we can act really well for our wedding film. Jordan and amber are the best - book hi focused/light cinematography! You will not regret it!

My husband and I got married in Maui on June 12, 2021 and Jordan and Amber were amazing! They were both very professional, but made the day so fun and memorable. It was extremely windy during our ceremony and a handful of little things did not go as planned, but you would never be able to tell in the wedding video. They got the video to us very fast too! We were just starting our honeymoon when we got the email from Jordan that our video was ready. It was fun to be able to watch it a few days later when all the craziness calmed down. Jordan is very quick to respond to emails and was very flexible with things such as changing locations for a first look the day of the wedding. I am so happy we chose Hi Light to make our wedding video. We will cherish it for many years to come.

Amazing work!

Due to covid, my husband and I decided to have a small, 24 guest wedding in Maui. Since the majority of our family and friends wouldn't be able to attend, we thought it was important that we have a video made so we could share that with everyone. Before we even found our planner, I searched for a wedding videographer and was drawn to the videos done by Jordan and his team so we hired them! Both Jordan and Amber were super easy to talk to and work with. They made us feel comfortable at a time when anxiety was at an all time high. And, I'm not biased or anything, but our video turned out amazing....better than I could have hoped for! I cry every time I watch it and some friends/family have said the same :) The video captured the most important things that we'll be able to remember forever. Truly so happy going with Hi-light. Couldn't have had a better experience!

AMAZING! 5 stars all way. The film was produced beautifully. We are so in love with it! Our family and friends all loved it as well. Hi Light Films did an amazing job on filming and producing it. The best part, we received the film in just three days after the wedding. WOW! How amazing was that?!

Above and beyond expectations!

I am so thankful I found HI FOCUSED. Out of all the vendors we used for our wedding, HI FOCUSED was by far, the best. I wish all our vendors were as talented, professional, and patient as Jordan was. He was so easy to work with, and his calm and genuinely kind nature always put my mind at ease. There's already so much to worry about with planning a wedding, and we had to deal with some others vendors that unexpectedly turned out to be not so friendly nor professional. Fortunately, I never had to worry about that with HI FOCUSED. Everyone should take notes from Jordan and his team. They are seriously amazing! Extremely professionalism and communicative. The videos turned out so beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The team captured the day so well and the most beautiful moments for us. The videos were created in such a classic and natural way that I know it'll be timeless. It brings tears to my eyes every time we watch it, and I look forward to showing my children one day. The video was one of the most important things for me for the wedding, and I definitely do not regret choosing HI FOCUSED for this. They are the absolute best in the business!! I only wish I could take them back to Phoenix with me so I could use them for other future events!

Best on the island!!!

We coordinated services from Canada and had a seamless experience prior to, during, and after our wedding in 2016. We absolutely love our video and it is a beautiful memory. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This was reinforced again today (Feb 1, 2021) when I sent an email requesting the original movie files again to add to my new computer. Jordan got back to me right away with the files. Wedding planned in a week and was stress free

My husband and I have known each other for over 20 years and rekindled an old flame about 12 years ago and with 2 kids, we decided that instead of doing a big wedding, we'd just keep it intimate and do a "Covid Wedding" and somewhat elope. When i was researching other videographers, Jordan was very efficient with getting back to me and offering packages and what not. The price point was hard to beat comparing other videographers.

On the day of the ceremony, which only included my parents, my husbands mom, and 2 of our daughters, Jordan and the team arrived on time, and they were awesome from beginning to end and bared with us even though we were running a little behind schedule!

The best cinematographer ever!

The uncertainty and anxiety that came with COVID-19 created a new challenge for us when planning our wedding (I'm sure this is the same for everyone engaged). This is not to say that changing our wedding plan was the worst thing in 2020 because there were a lot of unfortunate events and losses that happened. But thanks to Jordan & his team at HI Focused, we were still able to make our wedding dreams come true, even if it meant we had a Zoom wedding ceremony and a drive-through reception. HI Focused was still able to capture the beautiful moments & emotions we had throughout the day and were so easy to work with, especially with all the safety & health guidelines due to COVID. (We also had postponed our wedding FOUR TIMES and each time I sadly informed Jordan of the change, he was more than willing to work it out with us and be as flexible as possible. We are so grateful for that!)
When we received our final video & 1-minute teaser, my husband and I watched it together ASAP and I cried joyful tears because they went above & beyond our expectations. At first, I was scared that our wedding video wouldn't be how I imagined it (dreamy, romantic, sentimental, etc.) because again, we had a Zoom ceremony with limited family present and a drive-through reception. But HI Focused NAILED IT in every way possible! It was dreamy, romantic, sentimental and so much more! My husband and I have been watching it non-stop since we got the video. They were able to capture all the emotions of that day perfectly and every time we watch the video, we get to re-live that beautiful and wonderful day all over again. We are so so grateful to HI Focused, Jordan, and Philip for their incredible service and understanding during these challenging times. 100/100 would recommend them!

Jordan and his team were amazing to work with. Planned our wedding in 7 days and finding the right company to work with to capture this special moment was priority on our list. So glad we chose them because everything came out perfect.

Speechless

First off YOU HAVE TO HAVE A VIDEOGRAPHER FOR YOUR WEDDING!!!!! Pictures don’t do your wedding justice. A Video means that you can relive your big day over and over again a million times! AND YOU CANT JUST HAVE ANY VIDEOGRAPHER, YOU HAVE TO HAVE HI FOCUSED. There is no better! Hands down! You will be making a mistake if you do not go with Jordan at HI FOCUSED!!!! My husband and I got married in 2013 and I relive our wedding every year on our anniversary through Jordan and his teams spectacular work. I can’t speak highly enough of the time and effort his team took to make my day special. And thanks to them I get to relive it for the rest of my life ❤️

Amazing Engagement Video!

We absolutely loved working with Jordan at HiFocused! Jordan captured our engagement in Maui and his work was perfect - we would recommend him to anyone! He is so easy to work with and captured our special moment in such a beautiful way - including photos, amazing videos and the most incredible drone shots! He sent us everything so fast and we were thrilled to share our moment with everyone. We are so thankful to have such an amazing memory to watch forever!
