Truly Hawaii's Best Wedding Cinematographer
We are so glad we chose Hi Focused for our wedding videography! The final video turned out to be truly one of a kind and so unique to us. The way they captured our day, especially with the stunning drone shots, took our breath away. The aerial footage added such an epic, cinematic touch that made our wedding look like it was straight out of a movie.

We had overall a great experience with Jordan and hilight films. I appreciated the communication before the wedding day to go over timelines/ what to expect and explain what I was wanting for pictures! Our pictures and wedding video turned out better than expected. I’ve watched the video at least 20 times in the first 24 hours I got it, it truly captured our perfect day and is so fun to re-live it!

Our wedding film perfectly captures the images, sounds, energy and spirit of our magical day. We opted for the extended 8 min film and are so glad we did! WOW. We were speechless by the services we received from Hi Light Films, and by Jordan himself.
Videography is one of the best investments for your special day, as it is the BEST way to remember it all. And investing in a high quality company like Hi Light Films is the way to ensure you are getting just that.
We eloped in Maui, Hawaii in the morning— we received our highlight film by the next morning! The turnaround time for edits was unreal.

Perfection from start to finish!
Where to begin! This review has been a long time coming since my husband and I got married at the Olowalu Plantation House in August 2022. Needless to say that we (along with all of our friends and family) are OBSESSED with our wedding film! Working with Hilight Films is one of the best investments we made for our wedding day.
Jordan was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We loved that he consulted with us in advance on the type of vibe we wanted as well as aligning on specific moments we wanted to capture. We were looking for a more upbeat video with plenty of focus on our guests and venue details so we could fully soak in the atmosphere of our wedding day when we watch our film in the future.
Day of the wedding Jordan was a total pro. I'm particular on details and had 0 worries throughout the afternoon and evening that everything we wanted would get captured under his direction. He was great at giving direction and was meticulous about setting up the right shots.
As for the final product...no words! Everything we wanted and more. Even the background music lyrics mirror the sentiments conveyed in our vows, along with other themes that came up during toasts throughout the night (too closely for it to be coincidental, so I attribute this to the creative genius of the Hilight team!)
100% recommend picking the Hilight team to capture your special day, you won't regret it! Also if you're thinking about adding the drone footage - stop thinking and just DO it, worth every penny to have an aerial view of your venue!

My husband and I are not used to the camera/attention at all. We had Amanda and Charles from Jordan's team and they were amazing. Amanda's energy is so contagious, she definitely made us feel at home.
Turn around time for the video was less than 2 weeks. Which was such a pleasant surprise. They work so fast, yet their video was done SO beautifully!!! Jordan had also been super helpful even after our event on helping us look for specific videos. Jordan's communication throughout the whole process has been professional and kind. Our whole experience working with Hi Light Films has been fantastic! We would highly recommend them for any of your film needs. When we were searching for our wedding videographer (we looked at a LOT), Jordan was always very prompt and helpful. We loved their style and decided to move forward with them. Jordan arranged a meeting leading up to our big day to make sure his team understood the timeline of our day, made sure we talked about important details or moments we wanted captured, etc. The two videographers who shot our day were professional and fun. The turnaround time on receiving our final wedding film was extremely fast and the video was INCREDIBLE! They captured every.single.thing and we were blown away by the final product. Best wedding videographer on Maui!!!
My husband and I were unsure if we wanted a videographer for our wedding and we are SO HAPPY that we decided to use one. We were planning a destination wedding form Seattle, WA and Jordan made it such and easy process without ever meeting him in person. We had a phone call with him prior to wedding in which he helped us plan what we wanted to be in the film and the timeline for the wedding. Amber and Charles were the videographers who shot our wedding, and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, and they kept the day organized. Jordan and his team are so talented, and our video is better than we ever could have imagined! They truly made our vision come true. It has brought tears to everyone’s eyes who has watched it. We got our final film in less than two weeks after our wedding! Jordan was also very flexible and made a few small edits to the footage included in the film before finalizing it and mailing us a copy on a USB drive. If you are debating between getting a videographer than I highly recommend using one and you will not be disappointed in Hi Light Wedding Films!

Exceptional and professional!
I don't know where to start!
We got the cinematic package for our elopement in Maui, and the video is superb. It's hard to put into words how much it means to us, but Jordan and his team at Hi Light films created exactly what we wanted (and more!) to remember our special day. Incredible quality and true talent at capturing emotions. In addition, Jordan called us weeks beforehand to discuss our vision and was always very prompt and courteous in his communication with us. Truly professional!
Our videographer team was Amber and Matt. They were so calm, creative, and enjoyable to be around! They made us entirely comfortable while filming and did an incredible job. I can't say enough about them and can only hope they know how special they are! Than you both!
To summarize as best as I can, Jordan and his team are exceptional. True masters of the craft with great personalities as a bonus. You'd be CRAZY to not book them, and if you get the opportunity you won't regret it!! Mahalo Jordan and team! ♡ Olivia & Kevin

Amazing work!
Due to covid, my husband and I decided to have a small, 24 guest wedding in Maui. Since the majority of our family and friends wouldn't be able to attend, we thought it was important that we have a video made so we could share that with everyone. Before we even found our planner, I searched for a wedding videographer and was drawn to the videos done by Jordan and his team so we hired them! Both Jordan and Amber were super easy to talk to and work with. They made us feel comfortable at a time when anxiety was at an all time high. And, I'm not biased or anything, but our video turned out amazing....better than I could have hoped for! I cry every time I watch it and some friends/family have said the same :) The video captured the most important things that we'll be able to remember forever. Truly so happy going with Hi-light. Couldn't have had a better experience!

AMAZING! 5 stars all way. The film was produced beautifully. We are so in love with it! Our family and friends all loved it as well. Hi Light Films did an amazing job on filming and producing it. The best part, we received the film in just three days after the wedding. WOW! How amazing was that?!

Jordan and his team exceeded our expectations for our wedding film. It is perfect in every way, and extremely timely (we got it back much quicker than promised!). Could not recommend Hi Light Films more. From the beginning, Jordan was in touch with us to make sure his team captured everything we wanted. Amber was so fun and easy to work with the day of the wedding and Jordan did an amazing job with the drone shots. The final product is SO amazing and we could not have asked for anything better. I've already watched it a million times and everyone that sees it comments on what a great job the videography team did. Even post-production, Jordan has been so responsive and receptive to everything. You will not go wrong with this team!

HI Light Wedding Films was such a pleasure to work with & we'd definitely recommend working with them! They were one of the easiest vendors we worked with. Communication with Jordan was easy from the beginning. My husband and I always feel awkward in front of a video camera, but video on our big day was such a breeze! Amber was super fun to work with and made us very comfortable. They seemed to work very well with the photographer we had. I was also pleasantly surprised that we received our video (which turned out so beauitful!!) so soon after the wedding. I had heard from friends that sometimes it could take up to 6 months to receive the video back from other videographers, but we had ours in a month! Thank you so much Jordan!!!

Exceeded All Expectations in Capturing Our Special Day!
We were so pleased with HI Light Film’s work and really appreciated the time they spent planning/collaborating prior to our special day and the work put in the day of the wedding.
Working with Jordan for the pre-wedding planning went really smoothly and we had a great time speaking with him. He was so kind and easy to work and communicate with. He walked us through the process and asked us important questions about our special day that we hadn’t even considered (definitely helped us get more organized before our wedding day). He made us feel comfortable and taken care of before the big day.
On the day of the wedding, working with Amber and Matt was great! They had such a great positive energy the entire time and were really easy to work with. We immediately felt comfortable with them and had a great time having them at the ceremony and reception.
Our final wedding video was stunning and captured all the amazing moments of the night. Wow! More than I could have hoped for! Jordan and his team blew us away!!! I can't thank HI-Light Films enough for capturing our wedding day! My wedding looks like a fairytale!
I live in Atlanta, and I had less than 3 months to plan a wedding! I didn't hire a wedding planner, and decided last minute to hire a videographer for my big day! I have a background in film so finding someone with high quality work was very important to me. I found Jordan and HI-Light Films on Instagram and I immediately knew after seeing his wedding teasers that I had to hire him or someone from his team to capture my wedding. Lucky for us, Jordan had availability in his schedule for a Monday afternoon wedding!
To say I was a stressed bride is an understatement. My dream had always been to have a beach wedding, and what do you know, Maui got hit with not one, but two hurricanes during my wedding/vacation at Mana Kai Maui/5Palms. The morning of my wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and then right when I sat down in the makeup chair, the sky opened up and it was pouring down rain. My beach wedding dreams were coming to a hault. The rain just wouldn't stop. I tried to play it cool but I was crying inside. I kept thinking of my beautiful wedding video being shot inside of a restaurant instead of a gorgeous beach/sunset background (and let's be honest, drone footage just doesn't have the same "wow" factor when shot inside).
Jordan did his best to help distract me and ease my worries while the rain was pouring down. He mic'd me up and was ready to battle the rain. But what do you know, the rain stopped just 3 minutes before showtime! I got to have my beach wedding after all. Jordan captured the most amazing and precious moments of my wedding that I had been so excited for!!
I can't thank Jordan enough for all of his hard work! Both the Instagram and wedding videos are absolutely stunning and everything and more that I have ever wanted. So many special moments were captured that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

We had a great experience with Hi Light. It’s not always easy to communicate with vendors in Maui since we’re on the east coast and there’s a 6 hour time difference. Jordan was so accessible and responsive from the very beginning. On one occasion, he called within minutes of me hitting the send button on my email.
He wasn’t personally available on the day of our renewal but I had all contact information of the point person for the day. But his team was early so I never had to reach out.
I got a few other quotes from different vendors and I thought Hi Light pricing was very reasonable.
We had specific songs we wanted to use in the video. Ultimately, the editing was perfection and they matched the music exactly how I envisioned it.

Where do I even begin?? We could not be more happy with our video and the incredible service we received from Hi Light Films! Jordan was easy to communicate with and took the time to find out what we really wanted with the experience and the final product. On the wedding day, Amber and Matt worked so well with our photographer, Angela Nelson, to get the perfect shots and made the experience lots of fun. Nothing felt awkward or rushed. When we received the video (much sooner than expected) I was crying within the first 5 seconds because it was just so beautifully and seamlessly made. It perfectly captures all of the love and feelings we felt on that day, which is priceless because the day passes so quickly. The quality of the video compared to so many others that I’ve seen is indescribable. It’s edited like a movie, and everything just flows together perfectly. When we shared the video with all of our friends and family, they were blown away. A few people even said it looked like an advertisement for Hawaii and for marriage haha. Strangers even commented to say how great it was. We ended up adding on extra time, both on wedding day and extra minutes to make the video longer, and it was worth every penny. We did ask Jordan to make a couple adjustments to the final product, and he was very accommodating. If you’re questioning if a wedding video is worth the money, it 100% is and you won’t regret working with this amazing company. Such an amazing vendor with an amazing team
I have known Thumper (Jordan) for a long time. It was no question on who I wanted to get for our photographery for our wedding. He appointed his team member, Amber, who was a pleasure to work with. She took her time on the shots and had a vision for everything. We got out pictures back within a few weeks and were blown away with all the pictures. Great videographers!
Jordan and his team were great to work with for our wedding video! He took all the feedback we had for our video and executed perfectly. We wanted a happy and playful video (not sappy) with upbeat music that focused on the celebration and guests and we got exactly what we wanted!

The vendor you never thought you needed.
I honestly wasn't planning on booking a videographer. I was trying really hard to stick with my budget. I invested in an amazing photographer and that was the part I was always told NOT to skimp on. Then I came across videographers. I told myself I didn't NEED one, but that was a lie. Hi Light Films is amazing. Absolutely amazing. I laughed so hard with Amber and Mike. We felt so comfortable. My husband...ahh, still sounds weird, haha. We were able to be ourselves. They created an environment that allowed us to be organic. Nothing was forced, nothing was fake or over the top. It meant the world to us. Seeing the actual final product, omggg. I did my research and once again my research did NOT let me down. I've literally watched the video 10 times already. Everyone I share the video with is amazed. Everything from the quality of the video to the music. It's a dream come true. This day was so important to us and Hi Light Films created something to last us forever. You don't NEED fancy flowers or expensive shoes. Cut back on other parts, but don't cut back here. A Lifetime of Memories
When we first started wedding planning, we did not include videography into our budget. However, our wedding planner sent us a list of videographers to look through their work. Hi Light Films stood out above the others. Watching other people’s wedding videos brought tears to my eyes and I didn’t even know these people. I asked my fiancé if we could add videography to our budget, but he didn’t think it was necessary since we already had a photographer. Photos and video are completely different. While photos are beautiful, a video brings you back to your wedding day and all the emotions you felt. We picked Hi Light because there are a variety of packages that fit every budget. Jordan sent us a questionnaire as soon as we booked that asked for our wedding details. It included any special customs that we wanted captured and details we wanted to include so nothing would be missed. About a week prior to our wedding, Jordan called me to confirm what I wanted to see in the video and he gave me a breakdown of our timeline. After the call, he sent me an email summarizing what we talked about and included the names and phone numbers of the videographers shooting our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Amber and Michael arrived on time and they were really friendly. We are both camera shy and they made us feel very comfortable and gave us directions on what to do. I didn’t notice them during the ceremony so they’re really good at capturing the memories without blocking guests’ view. We received our edited video a lot faster than we thought we would and the finished product is amazing. They captured moments that we didn’t see and the music that was used was so perfect. I felt like they really knew us and listened to our vows and picked a song that fit us well. My husband, the one who said we didn’t need a videographer, has watched our video many times and admitted that it was a great idea. At the end of the wedding, when the food has been eaten and the drinks are gone, the flowers have died, all you have left are photos and videos. Don’t skip the video and definitely hire Hi Light Films. I can’t say enough about this amazing team.

I couldn’t say enough about this company. Coming from Ohio and not knowing much about any Hawaiian wedding companies I was worried about making the wrong choice, but I couldn’t be more happy about choosing HiLight films. They captured our wedding day perfectly and so many people said it looked like a hollywood film. It has such a romantic and artistic feel that only a true professional could do. They were also super kind and made us feel comfortable about everything. I come from a family of photographers and videographers and you could say i’m pretty picky so trust me when I say they are worth every penny! I would choose a video over so many other wedding expenses and my husband agrees. Thank you guys for everything!!

Most memorable thing ever :)
My husband and I couldn't have selected a better team to capture and video our special day. We were both very nervous about how the whole thing would come together and if we would feel awkward in any way during the filming, when you watch other videos you think to yourself how do they capture all of that and it not feel so "put on" but the team was fantastic we did not even really know they were there. The team made our day run so much smoother than we could have ever imagined. We knew we wanted to have a video to bring back home since we did choose a destination site for our special day and there were many that could not attend. I am so fortunate we have this keepsake to cherish forever and ever. I will say this is the best money you will spend, if you have to cut corners in other areas do so, however, do not let it be on videography and photography. The day goes by so so fast and this things you will have to last you till the end of time. Jordan was always very timely in answering my emails and addressing my concerns, despite the significant time change, he really put my mind at ease and couldn't be more appreciative of all the love and hard work you gave us. Flexible team with great results
We initially had no idea whether we even wanted or could afford a videography team -- in fact, a lot of people said it was an unnecessary expense...but after getting married and receiving our wedding video, we know we made the right decision in working with Jordan's team. The day of the wedding went by so fast that there's so many details that we missed and we able to rediscover on the film. Not only can we see our own smiles but the smiles of all our guests. And as much as we love our photos, video just offers a way to really go back to the moment that is incomparable.
Jordan handled all the pre-wedding communication and details for us so professionally and patiently. We had budget and time concerns, along with not really knowing what to expect from a video team, but he explained everything and recommended a plan that would be a good fit. He was always quick to reply and we never felt any anxiety or uncertainty during any part of the process.
After the wedding, the completed video was also delivered sooner than we even expected! Since we had chosen the raw data option as well, Jordan was also very quick to send all the footage from our whole day over to us in Japan -- very professionally confirming our address to make sure it went through internationally postage okay (and I was reassured that they kept a backup of the data until you receive it!). It arrived right away and we were happy to find that not only was the full footage we had wanted of all the speeches and important parts of the day, there was also a lot of multiple angle footage thanks to the second shooter!
We are very, very happy that we entrusted Hi Light to record our wedding day and we now have something to treasure and watch back every anniversary (and sometimes just randomly in between). Thank you!

Our experience with Jordan, Amber, Mike and Keanu was exceptional! Their teamwork and attention to details helped our wedding day go smoothly. The drone was a nice added touch and worth the extra $$. We anticipated receiving the film a couple months after our wedding, and it arrived early...great Christmas gift for us. Thank you, HiLight Film! The quality of our film is amazing. The team is fun to work with and the final video is absolutely beautiful. Months before the wedding day, we received a questionnaire from Jordan to fill out details/requirements. Hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Hi Light films shot our destination wedding this past October in Maui and they were so fantastic to work with. We did a lot of research before selecting a videographer and had a particular style that we had in mind. The final video surpassed every expectation we had. We have watched it countless times already and look forward to watching it for years to come. If you are on the fence on whether or not to have a videographer - I can tell you first hand that it is absolutely worth it. The day goes by so quickly and we are beyond grateful to have had Hi Light Films capture our special day. They managed to capture all of the details and moments in such a beautiful and artistic way and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results and working with them through the whole process. Great experience all around
We had a great time working with Hi Light Films. Despite the time zone difference, Jordan always responded to our questions promptly, which put us at ease during the planning process leading up to the wedding. Jordan had us fill out a questionnaire early on, which covered every detail you could think of on the wedding day, and some of the details ended up being helpful with other vendors as well. We had Amber and 2 other videographers on the day of the wedding and the filming experience was very smooth. We received the edited film 2 weeks after the wedding and it was beautiful. Overall it's been a highly professional and pleasant experience, highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time working with Jordan and his team! Michael and I felt so much at ease from start to finish. It felt like we've been friends for years. It was very easy to communicate with Jordan during the planning process and they captured every beautiful moment. My husband and I knew we wanted to invest a little more money into our videographer and we could not have asked for a better team. I did a lot of research and cried watching all of their videos. That's how we knew they were the one. :) We loved the finished product. As did our family and friends-not a dry eye! Definitely recommending this wonderful, talented group of people!

Love Hi Light Films!!
We had such an amazing experience with the Hi Light Films team for our outdoor Maui wedding!! They were very professional and capture every moment so well. We were debating in the beginning if we wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding but now looking back we wouldn’t have it any other way. For anyone out there who is thinking about having a videographer for their wedding, just do it!! You can put a price on capturing such a memorable time in your life and you can always relive it many many years down the road. The Hi Light team did a phenomenal job put everything together and even sent us a package with the uncut footages. Mahalo!!!

Hi Light Films is absolutely amazing! Jordan and his team are absolutely amazing! They are easy to communicate with, professional and very reliable. They have a quick turn around. We got our films (both online and hard drive) within a month after our wedding. And the final wedding film is exactly what we expected, elegant and beautiful. They captured all the wonderful moments we want. A little bit background about us, we are Chinese who work and live in New York City area and our parents are all from China who speak very little English. So it makes it very hard for Jordan and his team to edit the speeches since it's all in Mandarin. We appreciate that the team took extra steps and worked with us successfully to edit the speeches! Most importantly, these are all within our budget! Thank you Hi Light Films!

We have always wanted a wedding film, but weren't sure if it could fit in our budget. The money spent on this was well worth it and I highly recommend Jordan and his team to anyone having a destination wedding. It's been such a blast sharing the video with people who were not able to attend in person and I look forward to sharing the video with our children someday!
I can honestly say that Jordan at Hi Light Films was the easiest to work with and most responsive of all of our vendors. I could always count on him for professionalism and prompt responses which was a great relief during the stressful wedding planning process.
Hi Light was also a lot more affordable than the other videographers I looked into. We feel that their work is of the highest quality and it was such a pleasure having three videographers there on our wedding day to document all of the details. We highly recommend Hi Light to anyone considering getting video footage.

Like many people, we were debating on whether or not to have a videographer at our wedding, but after reading many "Must Do" lists, we didn't want to regret not having one later. There is only so much photos can capture. After much research and watching various wedding videos from different companies, I knew HiLight Films was the company we had to go with! Jordan was professional throughout the whole process, and Michael (aka Matthew McConaughey) & Amber honestly were awesome & hilarious throughout our entire wedding day! I can honestly say that HiLight Films was the best vendor we booked! Our wedding video was AMAZING!!!! I can not get enough of it! It was perfect in every way - it captured every aspect of our day and the editing was unreal! Watching it takes me back to our wedding day and melts my heart every single time!

It is honestly hard to put into words how incredibly happy we were with our choice to have the team at HiLight share and capture our special day. If you are anything like we were and are on the fence about whether or not to hire a videographer to capture your wedding....DO IT!!!! Seriously.... and make sure you hire HiLight!!
I can truthfully say out of all of the decisions that we made with respect to our wedding this was one of the BEST decisions we could have made. No matter how relaxed the day is and how present you are in the moment, it goes by WAY too fast! Pictures tell a beautiful story but there truly isn't anything like film to help you remember ever little detail.
It was so great that HiLight had a variety of options available that were also affordable - which is important to many and something we found hard to find while still being top notch quality. Jordan was SO responsive and friendly and although we didn't meet in advance, after emailing back and forth and briefly speaking on the phone I felt completely at ease and comfortable. His team that joined us the day of the wedding were so friendly, kind and talented - not to mention dedicated to ensuring they captured it all.
Where many videographer's can take months to provide you with a finished product we had ours in WEEKS!!! This was such a wonderful and welcomed surprise. The video was incredible. We absolutely loved being able to share our special day through video with friends and family who were unable to join us in Maui and have received SO many compliments, including comments from many that it was the BEST wedding video they had ever seen.
Our wedding was only a short month a go and I can tell you watching the video reminded me of things I had already forgotten of the day. Trust me, you won't regret the decision to have HiLight capture your special day, I have watched our video every single day since we received it :)

We both are newly graduated, full-time dentists living on the East coast and simply did not have time (nor energy) to put together a wedding, so we decided to elope to Hawaii. We organized our elopement from Germany and decided last minute with our wedding coordinator to include a wedding cinema. After looking at a few companies we instantly decided to pick HI Light Wedding Films. What a good choice - Jordan and his team was so amazing, flexible and excited. As we did a real first look moment the team was really into it and shared with us a fun and happy time as you would hope for, when you decide to elope in Hawai'i. I had an overall great experience with HiLight Films! We decided to have a destination wedding which made a wedding video even more necessary for the family and friends who were unable to attend our ceremony to enjoy. We asked them to stay a bit longer on the day of our wedding to capture a few more special moments, to which they were flexible and happy to accommodate. The turn-around for our video was also quick considering we requested it for just one month after the ceremony to play at our at-home reception. The video they composed of our day was incredible and wonderfully put together. My mom was quick to compliment! Great work, and thanks again!

Jordan was awesome to talk stories with, or even keep in contact. His forms to get your special day set were in full detail! You couldn't go wrong. And to have not 1, not 2, but 3!! videographers was amazing. Amber and Martin worked with my husband and I on our big day. We also asked to push for another 30 minutes more before they left the reception, and with ease they stayed (with extra charge of course).
To capture and cry again by watching our film at home made us realize we made the right choice!

One word to sum up Hi Light Films: Wow!
One of the best investments you could ever make for your wedding day is to hire amazing videographers like Jordan, Amber and their team. At the end of the day, when everyone has forgotten the speeches, what color your napkins you had, the types of flowers you had in your centerpieces or the dance moves you were seeing on the dance floor, the one thing that you will forever have is your wedding film! I say look no further!
Jordan is very easy going and was easily accessible every time we had questions. He was quick to schedule a phone call with us whenever we wanted to clarify information. He was also very honest with us in term of our timeline and gave us suggestions on what we can do to best utilize our day.
Hi Lights captured our day beautifully. The opening shot legitimately looks like a painting-they really captured the beauty of our venue! They captured special moments like my grandma on the dance floor having a blast with our glow sticks to my mom and little brother slow dancing.
Right off the bat, I felt at ease when I met Amber. She is personable and funny. It never felt awkward that we had cameras on us. They worked discretely-always ensuring that they were not intruding or blocking anyone's view. At one point, I saw Amber and Michael on the GROUND and I had no idea how long they have been filming there to make sure that they get all the shots they needed!! They're video ninjas with a purpose!
In addition, their turn around time is unbelievable. Our film was ready to go about 2.5 weeks after our wedding (their timeline might vary depending on the season).

Probably the best way to sum up our experience with Jordan and his team at HiLight Wedding Films is: WAY above and beyond what we expected. When planning our wedding, we had a budget but wanted so badly to have the experience on video. Jordan was patient with us and helped us find a package that would allow us to document our day AND fit our budget. The end result and highlight reel was SO much more than we expected. They are very responsive and professional. The video is great and we really liked the fact that Hi Light gave us all the RAW footage, including the whole length of ceremony and toast. We searched other companies and most of videographors either do not provide RAW footage or charge us for extra fees to release RAW footage, which is quite upsetting. 3 videographers from Hi Light are really nice. The price is also very reasonable and affordable.

I am so happy that I decided to take a risk and hire Hi Light Wedding Films. We had a destination wedding and we traveled from Chicago to Maui and we were just able to view their previous wedding films as our decision maker! After watching their previous films, there was absolutely no question in my mind that this was the company I would hire to capture our wedding day! Words alone cannot fully express how incredibly talented Hi Light Films truly is. My husband and I watched our wedding video for the first time with our families and we were completely blown away by both the quality and artistic vision of the film and their ability to capture the most exciting and happiest time and day of our lives. Our wedding day went by all too quickly and Hi Light Films was able to preserve our wedding day memories forever and will let us relive them and take these memories throughout our lives. Ordinary wedding films show you what happened the day of your wedding, while artistic wedding films show you how you felt on your wedding day. Hi Light Films brings you back to the moment in a very special way. Amber and Robbie were our main videographers and also had an assistant with them and I can't say enough about how fabulous all of them were. They truly took the time to get to know us and worked with us on such a personal level. Jordan is who manages the company and he was so quick to getting back to my emails and meeting every need that we had. He made himself available to discuss what we were looking for and even gave us suggestions! Our wedding planner highly recommended HI Light for our 6/15/16 wedding. And because all the other recommendations she made for us were spot on with meeting our tight budgetary needs and matching our style, the choice for us was a no-brainer to sign on with HI Light. We do not regret our choice at all! And we almost wish we had another wedding so that we could have another cool video to watch over and over again. Adding wedding videography was actually a last minute decision for my husband and I after hearing countless other couples tell us that they are so glad they had the service because otherwise, their wedding days go by like a total blur and why would you spend all this time/money/effort into planning your big day and not want to capture all the details!? So just weeks before the wedding day, we booked with HI Light and right away Jordan contacted me and got us started right away on making sure we had exactly the kinds of shots, music and details we wanted. He provided us with excellent tips on making sure we had the best documentation and made sure that everything was in sync to go. The day of the wedding, Amber and Mike came to film and they were very reassuring, friendly, professional and perfectionists. After the wedding, Jordan contacted us to make sure everything went smoothly and we discussed the last details for making sure we got the kind of film we wanted; he was always very responsive and helpful in directing our questions. In just a short few weeks, we received our final film and as you can see from the other films they have done, their work is of high quality and entertaining to view. We definitely cried watching the film and rewatch it often, it's just so beautiful and captured all the emotions, memories and details of our special day we will cherish for a long time. We were actually on the fence about videography and I'm SO HAPPY we decided to move forward with it and work with Hi Light. Great Videographer, great pricing! Jordan from HiLight Films did an edit for our wedding video and it was good. Asked if he could make some changes and add more specific content and they did a great job with it! HiLight is your dream come true. I,like many brides, was on hunt for a videographer that for my budget without compromising quality and style. I watched countless video reels of videographers called for numerous quotes. We chose Hi Light initially because of the prompt follow up which we didn't receive from the first company we contacted. Not only was the pricing much more competitive, I felt a sense of comfort that Jordan was going to be prompt and reliable based on his high level of responsiveness. Most importantly, our film turned out awesome! He used the music we wanted and the final product is just gorgeous. We showed at our reception last weekend and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Lots of 'oohs' and 'ahhs' over the stunning shots of our beach location, and they captured some very special moments which were just perfect to share. Wonderful to work with, even better final product!
My husband and I used Jordan from Hi Focused back in September of 2024 to capture video from our intimate wedding at the Four Seasons on Maui. Before we even packed for Hawaii he had already had a phone appointment with us, making us feel totally at ease and giving us the chance to share any ideas we had or concerns we couldn't shake.
The day of the wedding he was at our room on the MINUTE he said he would meet us. He had that perfect mix of seeming laid back, which helps everyone around him relax (which is needed for such a big day), but also having purpose in his work and making sure every moment got captured from every angle.
Don't let his calm demeanor trick you into thinking he is not happy to be doing this work. Rather, he is so knowledgeable and comes with a plan, that the prep allows him to be a source of levity during the chaotic hours leading up to the wedding.
The results were absolutely incredible. The turn around time was quicker than what he estimated. Which was a fabulous surprise when we got the link to our video.
We've watched it repeatedly and of course our family members haven't stopped watching it.
On a personal note, my Mother unexpectedly passed away a few weeks after our wedding. It was fantastic to have the pictures from the wedding, along with the photos we took on our own phones for the rest of the trip.
BUT it was the video that Jordan captured that I will forever cherish. It not only perfectly captured the love and excitement being shared on the day of the wedding. But, unbeknownst to anyone at the time, he was also capturing something immeasurable more special.
I felt informed and heard before we left for the wedding. He showed up on time, incredibly kind and calm. He had plans in his head and you could see him shift smoothly to a different idea if the sunlight or the weather wasn't being cooperative. He would flip to a new idea smoothly and it would turn out just as good as anything he could've had planned.
If you can't tell, I would highly recommend HI FOCUSED for any of your videography needs. I already told him that when we return for anniversaries, and maybe to spread my Mom's ashes, that we would be calling him to help capture the special moments.
Do yourself a favor and reach out to them. Their work is unmatched and their customer service is beyond reproach.

The perfect proposal!
I planned to propose to my girlfriend on a trip to Maui in July 2024. I've been to other islands before but this was my first trip to Maui and I was unfamiliar with the island and where I should propose. I reached out to a coworker who used to live in Maui for any proposal locations and he sent me a link to Hi Focused Cinematography and highly recommended I review the website and videos. After reviewing proposal and wedding videos on the website I immediately contacted Jordan and he was fantastic. Afer an initial phone call and discussion of what I was looking for, Jordan provided me with several locations where he could capture the moment live and covertly. Jordan was responsive, answered questions and provided detailed instructions for the big day. His technical experience, knowledge of Maui, and professionalism made the entire process smooth and perfect.
My fiance and I were so pleased with the beautiful video Jordan made of our proposal we are now contemplating a destination wedding in Maui and having Jordan capture our wedding. I have since recommended Hi Focused Cinematography to several other friends who were traveling to Maui and were looking for a photographer or cinematographer.

15 year wedding anniversary Vow renewal
We had a wonderful experience with Jordan and we would recommend him to anyone seeking a videographer for their wedding, vow renewal, or even just a once in a lifetime family keepsake video. I contacted Jordan to see if he could video our vow renewal on Po’olenalena beach, but also include our four children a bit more by capturing some family footage of us enjoying our time as a family on Maui together. He did a wonderful job getting video of our family on cliffs, forests, feeding ducks, and snorkeling. And then he did an amazing job weaving those video segments in with our vow renewal. The finished product was incredibly professional and well done. I am so happy that we chose Jordan to capture those special moments for our family and I will cherish the video forever.

Gorgeous POV of our special day
Our early wedding plans did not include a videographer, but looking back on our day we could not be happier that we decided on Hi Focused! Jordan was so easy to work with, flexible in adding additional time to our day, and helpful in giving us a realistic view into what the ideal wedding day film schedule should look like. “A picture is worth a thousand words”
Late last year, I found Jordan by chance on Instagram. I was looking for excursions and different places to visit during our family trip to Maui for the first time ever. A surprise I had beyond the family trip was to create the most beautiful engagement proposal I could possible think of. When I found Jordan’s Instagram page and website, I knew instantly he would be the one to capture all of my ideas and most importantly the love I have for Ali. As our trip began to approach, Jordan walked me through every step of the proposal process from A-Z! He was available every time I had questions.
Proposal day: Jordan worked hand in hand with my mother who helped keep this entire day a secret. Jordan met me out front of the lobby to get mic’d up and assured me to have fun, breathe, and let him capture it all. Jordan’s professional and ability to connect with me was everything I could ask for and more. When Ali and I received our official video and photographs, we were driving on the road to Hana. Out of excitement we pulled over and couldn’t believe this video was of the two of us. It was our love story captured by Jordan and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to tell our story than him! Most Professional Wedding Video EVER
If you are looking for an extremely professional video (movie quality) of your wedding day that will make you think you are watching a romantic movie when you see yourselves, look no further. My dream was to have a wedding video that captured our love and special day so perfectly, that truly evoked emotions each time I re-watched the video. Look no further--go with Jordan!
Jordan was the videographer for our daughter's Kauai wedding, and he is phenomenal. From our first meeting, he was the ultimate professional, asking very specific questions to ensure that he captured every shot we wanted. During the ceremony and reception, he was reassuring and unobtrusive, working seamlessly with our photographer. The end result? His drone footage is spectacular, and the videos, delivered in record time, are amazing! We wanted a short, 7 minute, and long version, and they were all so close to perfect, including the music, that we only asked for one tiny change. That never happens! Jordan is a great storyteller, and captured the emotion, the joy, and the beauty of every moment. I didn't cry at the wedding, but I cried when watching the videos. In my marketing job, I've worked with many fabulous LA and NYC videographers, but Jordan is simply the best.

From the beginning, Jordan has been very kind and considerate of our wants and needs out of what we wanted filmed. Along with his 2nd shooter Amber, they were both so fun to work with for the entire day of our wedding!
They made us feel so comfortable and made filming so easy and enjoyable.
Jordan’s final product of our film and documentary seriously took our breath away. We are so in awe of the level of high quality footage and attention to detail that Jordan put into our film. He was able to capture the essence of all of the emotions from our wedding day and really let us relive our day like it was a fairytale story. This is how we wanted our film to look and feel like and you can truly see that not only from our film, but all the other films we watched when choosing our videographer. We were so lucky and blessed that we chose the amazing work of Hi Focused to capture our memorable day!

Amazing work!!
Jordan was our videographer for our wedding on October 5th. Everything was all that we wished for. He was so professional and knew exactly what to do and how to pose us. We would HIGHLY recommend this company for any event! We got the video so fast and it was more than what we expected. Just amazing!! Thank you so much for making our day even better & we now have an amazing video as a keepsake reminder of our wedding.

HI Focused did such an incredible job with our wedding. Jordan and his team showed up with their A game. They were punctual and professional. You could tell they knew what they were doing with meticulous attention to detail and vision. It’s true art the way he blended clips together. All of my friends and family were blown away by the videos. I don’t think anyone could’ve done better. Thank you so much for beautifully capturing our special day. 100% recommend!
