Beautiful place in the mountains.

We could not have been more fortunate to be married here! Craig and his staff are simply the best. They were attentive, helpful, flexible, and eager to make sure that our wedding day was as special as it could be. Their venue is simply spectacular and when you add-in things like their Carrot Cocktail Hour, Tack Room, outdoor spaces and awesome craft beer, it is the complete package. Thank you for everything you did and we will certainly be back in the years to come to celebrate this amazing place!

We are so happy we chose Hermitage Hill for our wedding venue! The views are absolutely breath taking and we lucked out with gorgeous weather on our June wedding day. We loved how versatile the venue is with so many beautiful areas to keep guests entertained all in one space. The mountain views at the ceremony site are unbeatable. Our guests loved the uniqueness of the cocktail hour in the stable feeding the horses and later enjoyed incredible sunset views from the back patio overlooking the farm fields. Our favorite photos were taken in the beautiful rows of hops vines - which is another view unique to this venue! The reception space is an excellent size and design and easily accommodated our 175 guest count with a perfectly sized dance floor. Another experience unique to Hermitage Hill was being able to partner with the head brewer of Stable Craft Brewery to design a unique beer for our special day. They made the process so fun and we participated in every step from selecting the ingredients, to grinding the grains and stirring the brew. Other features of the venue we enjoyed were the beautiful bar, the separate sitting room for a gifts and guestbook area, and the convenient bridal suite complete with huge private bathroom. Overall, our wedding was beyond incredible and we owe a huge thank you to Hermitage Hill for providing such a beautiful setting for our big day!

You will not go wrong here! The property is so beautiful that we got married in a hurricane and our pictures were still more breath taking than ever imagined! They have the best rain plan in their gorgeous stables, so rain or shine your wedding will still be all you have imagined! Super fun atmosphere with the brewery on site! Great beers to choose from which gave our early arriving guests something to do! Craig and his wife certainly know what they are doing when it comes to hospitality and customer service! We had our rehearsal here the night before and the food was amazing! If your looking for a fun place with amazing views this is it! Not to mention being able to feed their horses during cocktail hour was such a fun touch! I cannot say enough about this place! I recommend it to everyone!

From the first moment we saw Hermitage Hills Farm and Stables, we knew that it would be the perfect venue for our wedding, and it was! Craig was very helpful during the planning process and the actual event. We used several vendors from the list he provided and were very pleased with them all. While the actual ceremony had to be moved indoors (due to Hurricane Joaquin!), everyone agreed that Plan B was even nicer than what we had envisioned - with rain lightly falling on the roof and the horses close by in their stalls. The accommodations were just right - from the bridal suite to the reception room. The stable was the perfect area for the cocktail hour with many guests enjoying feeding the horses. Even though we could not enjoy the outdoor patio due to the weather, Craig and his team still lit the fire pit which added to the ambiance. If you are looking for a unique, rustic, romantic venue this is your place!

Hermitage Hill was the first place my now-husband and I visited as a potential wedding venue, and afterward, nothing else compared. I am so glad that we decided to have our wedding at Hermitage Hill as it was a wonderful, memorable experience. The venue is beautiful and well-kept, surrounded by mountain views, and the opportunity to interact with the horses was a great rustic touch. Craig was professional, responsive, and helpful both before and during the event. Everything was ready for our event and Craig was onsite the morning of to help get things prepared and answer my many last-minute questions. Our guests raved about the venue and how beautiful it was and what a great time they had there. If you want a beautiful, rustic, unique wedding, opt for Hermitage Hill. Book well in advance, as word is getting out about this place and dates during the peak months (May, June, Sept, Oct) fill up quickly, for good reason!

When it came time for looking for a venue to have our wedding believe it or not but Hermitage Hills Farm & Stables was the first place we looked at and absolutely fell in love right away!!! Very BEAUTIFUL place!!!! Craig Nargi is a great person to deal with. He really shows pride is his line of work as a owner of his farm. The professionalism, quality & service that he provide. He was always there for us if we had any kind of questions for him & always answered in a timely manner!!! Our guests talked highly about his farm!!! I mean where else are you gonna find a beautiful venue that overseas the Blue Ridge Mountains, Beautiful Horses, a Coctail Hour room and a gorgeous reception room. It's an ALL season venue (AC & Heat). A beautiful patio that has a fireplace that overlooks the breathtaking mountains & beautiful sunset. He also has a bridal suite that is very nice for the bride & her party to get ready & make memories together. The best part that I think our guest really enjoyed was Cocktail Hour while the wedding party was taking pictures. Craig brought the horses in the stables & had carrots so the the guest could feed them. How awesome was that:). My Husband & I just want to let everyone know if your looking for the perfect place this is the place. You definitely won't be disappointed!!!! COUNTRY WEDDING......This is for YOU!!!!

My husband and I knew after the first visit that Hermitage Farm and Stables was the perfect choice for our wedding venue.A huge thank you to the owner, Craig for all of his help along the way,from recommending vendors that we used,to being honest and up front and just thinking of little details to make sure our day was just the way we wanted it.Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how much they loved the Carrot Cocktail Hour! We love all of the horses in the background, beautiful wood work, and scenery which made for amazing pictures that we will cherish forever! I would highly recommend this venue.

I cannot RAVE enough about this venue. The views, the venue itself, the horses - everything was absolutely amazing and perfect. Craig was wonderful to work with and was very responsive to all my questions and needs. He was very up front and honest and recommended several of the vendors that we used.

The "Carrot Hour" was a hit with our guests - they loved feeding the horses. We also loved taking pictures with the horse - that was really special to us and those turned out to be some of the best pictures that we got that day. This is such a unique and special venue run by wonderful people and I would HIGHLY recommend checking this venue out!

I searched for a wedding venue for months and couldn't find just what I was looking for until I stumbled across Hermitage Hill Farm while searching around on the internet. We went for a tour and the minute I saw the venue, I knew we'd found our place! I can't thank Craig enough for working with us to make sure our day was perfect. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how much they enjoyed feeding and interacting with the beautiful horses during cocktail hour. This is such a unique, rustic, romantic venue with amazing views of the mountains. I'd highly recommend Hermitage Hill Farm & Stables to any couple!

PERFECT!! That is the best way to describe this venue. From the scenery to the staff! We were absolutely amazed at how perfect this location was for our wedding. Craig was amazing to work with. He was so responsive and attentive to what we were wanting it was easy to align everything together for our wedding day. Couldn't have imagined having our wedding anywhere else! We highly recommend this beautiful venue!

Craig was extremely helpful to me throughout the wedding process. Not only did he give me timely information about the venue, but he was kind and professional. I feel that choosing this venue was worth every penny. Craig even went above and beyond in helping me choose vendors, and create a wedding timeline.

We are so happy that we chose to have our ceremony and reception at Hermitage Hill Farm and Stables. The whole process from booking to the day of the wedding was easy and painless. Everyone there was responsive and helpful with everything we needed. Any question I had was answered completely within a day. We live in NOVA, and I was worried about having the wedding an hour and a half away but the owners were wonderful and took the worry away. The day of the wedding, more people than we had expected showed up and they had extra tables and chairs set up (with my center pieces) in the reception hall before the end of the ceremony.

The whole venue is beautiful! During the ceremony the back drop is the mountains, and the stable and reception hall are beautifully woodworked. My guests are still going on about how wonderful the venue was! It was unique and beautiful, adults and kids alike LOVED getting to feed the horses. My favorite pictures are the ones we were able to take with the horse.
If you are looking for a unique wedding venue this is it!

Craig, the owner and manager of Hermitage Hill Farm and Stables, was great through the whole planning process. We never even looked at any other locations in person because aside from falling in love with the look and feel of the farm, we also really loved all of the advice Craig was able to offer us! You name a wedding related topic, and he has advice and recommendations for you. Half of the vendors we ended up using (and loved!) were all due to Craig letting us know about them. He provided more help than was expected, and we certainly appreciated it!

This is a unique and beautiful facility in a wonderful setting. We just had our wedding reception here and it was great. All the guests raved about the place--from the horses in the stable to the large reception room, outside patio with the stone fireplace and amazing mountain views. It is a great place for a great price. You can also have your ceremony here, but we already had decided to use a church. Definitely check this out if you're looking for something different than the typical hotel reception hall.

We hosted our wedding here back in November. It was absolutely magical. The setting was gorgeous with mountains in the background. They have a lovely patio and since the weather was getting a bit chilly they lit the stone fireplace outside. The reception room easily held our 200+ guests and allowed for adequate room for food and dancing. The owner is quite helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the Charlottesville/Staunton or surrounding areas. Great find.

My wedding at Hermitage Hill was a dream come true! The venue is beautiful with mountain views, and despite rain on my wedding day, even having the ceremony inside in the horse stables was so beautiful! All of my guests told me how much they loved the venue and getting to interact with the horses during the cocktail hour "carrotini".
The owner Craig is an awesome guy and very much a visionary... He's always looking to improve things and make things grow. I can only imagine how much more awesome this wedding venue will be in the future! Lisa in marketing is also amazing. She keeps everything organized and she truly was a joy to work with... Definitely highly recommend this venue for your wedding! :)

We were in love with our venue! It's beautiful. It's unique. It's perfect. We had our ceremony in the stable, and we got so many compliments on the space. Because the venue is what it is, it doesn't need a lot of decoration. It has enough character and charm to speak for itself - which helped with our budget! Not only is it a horse farm, but it's now a brewery as well! Which makes it that much better of a venue. ;) Craig was great to work with. He's very by the books, which we appreciated. Just before our wedding he'd hired Lisa, and she was just a joy! She was super helpful and so positive. I just can't say enough good things about this venue. We definitely recommend it.

Craig at Hermitage Hill is phenomenal. He has years of experience in food service and weddings and is willing to provide his knowledgeable input to ensure all bases are covered and the couple enjoys their special day.

The venue is GORGEOUS. Definitely the perfect location for a rustic chic wedding.

We booked Hermitage Hill about 20 months before our July 2019 wedding and were blown away by the beauty of this place at the time of booking. On top of that (and much to our excitement), the venue made some serious improvements throughout those 20 months- the spaces were upgraded, a little more structure wad added to their policies/processes, and Bethany (who is fabulous!) began working there. Everything was fantastic for the day of our wedding. There are still some kinks that they're working out, but I think it's probably just growing pains and that this venue will work its way to the top over time. Value wise, we got an incredible price (although I know they have changed their package since, so what couples get now is probably different than what we got). Overall, very happy with our experience!

THE GREAT
My husband and I had our wedding here in Spring 2018 and had an absolutely fantastic time! The wedding venue is beautiful: the gazebo made for a beautiful ceremony, the stables and wet bar made for a perfect cocktail hour, and the indoor ballroom was absolutely perfect for the reception itself. Cocktail hour with the Clydesdale horses was a ton of fun, and really made our guests feel like our wedding was unique. They have a nice bridal suite with a bathroom, and a very small groom suite with a loveseat and a mirror. The fire pit out back was also a big hit in the evening. Overall, this venue makes for a beautiful wedding and you won't regret coming here for your special day!

THE NOT QUITE GREAT, BUT NOT TOO BAD
They make you buy their beer, which is not a downside given that their beer is delicious. On the day of, all of the HHFS staff were extremely helpful and kind, although they did walk one tour through our area while we were preparing for the ceremony, which was apparently "not supposed to happen". In the lead up to your event, you may encounter some pushback from the venue with regards to booking a ceremony rehearsal/walkthrough on the day before your wedding, as they like to reserve dates for other possible bookings until pretty late in the game. One other small detail that might slow you down a little is that HHFS requires all of your vendors, even ones just making simple deliveries and then leaving, to fill out some extensive paperwork including business licenses, proof of insurance, etc.—this seemed a little excessive to us, but the vendors apparently did it anyways.
