This place is nothing short of astonishing. The food was amazing. Don’t get me started on our Wedding Planner. She was Totally awesome super flexible really easy to talk to. This is honestly, my opinion, the perfect place to get married. It was the best of my life and I would choose them 100 times over!!! -

If your looking for a unique wedding experience in a small wine town along the Missouri River, I highly recommend Hermann Hill Weddings. This was the first and only venue we looked at and fell in love instantly. From the beginning of the planning to the end of the reception they exceeded our expectations. Our wedding coordinator Laura was amazing to work with and we were impressed with the level of support that Laura and the whole staff provided on our wedding day.
Not only does Hermann Hill Weddings have an exceptional team to help make your special day magical but the venue itself is that cherry on top to a perfect day. The property that the venue sits on is along side the Missouri River with the best view of the sunset. We opted to have our ceremony down on the bluffs and we were super blessed to have beautiful weather. The reception space is versatile and would work with any color scheme you chose for your wedding.
As part of the wedding package it included a stay in an onsite cottage for the weekend. When you walk in the smell of fresh baked bread in a bread maker was a wonderful welcoming. There is a hot tub on the back deck with a view of the river but that water pressure from the Rainforest showerhead was top notch. The cottages were beautiful, homey and provided a nice oasis for us when the wedding was over. Hermann Hill Weddings are a 10/15 and we highly recommend.
We are five days out and people are still talking about our wedding, not only are they saying how beautiful our union was to witness but everyone always follows up with how much they loved the venue and how impressed they were with the level of attention and service that was provided.

It was a great experience from start to finish. They listened to our needs, and made it all happen! The venue was gorgeous, the staff were all professional and friendly. The food was delicious! Everything was smooth from our first tour, through the rehearsals, and on to the final sparkler exit. Shout out to Danah who was AMAZING on the day-of. We highly recommend. -

Becki was absolutely fantastic. She is an outstanding coordinator to work with. We found her always upbeat, ready to work with, open to suggestions, great with advice, prompt with service, and a wonderful communicator. We did an elopement package and she had dates available along with itemized costs. To truly understand her efforts and professionalism you need to hear of our circumstances. We decided to get married and didn't want to wait. In less than two weeks we had bought the ring, got the marriage license and dress apparel for the future event. We contacted her knowing we were asking for something fast. Best rates are Monday -Thursday. We asked originally for something three weeks from when we decided. However, things went smoothly for us getting clothes, rings, and a license. Therefore, we wanted to move it up a week (this is after a week and a few days had passed!!!). The day was open and she made it happen. Fantastic! She has the whole thing down pat and knows her stuff. We trusted her opinion, suggestions and the process. She made it beyond memorable and stress free! We actually sat in the hot tub outside on our room's deck and just relaxed right up to an hour before we said our vows. Top notch services! I would suggest this to anyone who hates planning everything themselves and worries about all the little things which go into a wedding.
Our condo room was fully loaded. It included a complete kitchen, living room, adjustable two-way fire place (see it in the living room and bedroom), king size bed, inside spa tub & stand up shower, grill outside on the secluded patio (overlooks the river front) and personal outside hot tub! Quality location, super clean, updated rooms, tons of amenities (breakfast set up at your door if you are wanting privacy or they will come in and serve it to you!) Bring your own food or beer for the stay there. We actually grilled chicken outside and then drank our own wine from Schnebly Winery in Florida. The venue is worth your time. Matt Wilson did our photos for the event. He is exceptionally talented, easy to work with, eager to give you the photo memories you want and deserve. He was prompt and we got the photos just a week after he took them. Loved it! If you are thinking of eloping, but still want that romantic, professional feel...got to at least call her and check it out!

This venue captured our hearts the minute we pulled up to tour. And then we met the oh so incredible Becki. She made sure everything was perfect for our special day, and was so kind and encouraging and patient. She was a big part of why our day was so special, and I cannot thank her enough. “Like a Hallmark Movie”
If you’re considering getting married here, then let us be the first, but far from the last, to say “Do it! You won’t regret it!”
This was the absolute BEST place to have a wedding. We were told planning a wedding at Hermann Hill Weddings was the most stress free way to plan a wedding, and they delivered! From the first tour to our wedding day, every single person we worked with was truly amazing. During the tour, we saw how the staff interacted with one another, and we even got to talk to the owner while he was doing landscaping! We were so impressed with how family like it all felt.
Our wedding coordinator, Becki, went above and beyond to make everything come together. We went through all the emotions together…literally. She laughed and cried with us, listened when we needed to rant, and offered countless pieces of advice. She helped us come up with ideas for decor (the venue has some items available, like dessert serving platters), table arrangements, and activity bags for the kiddos. She reached out to our other vendors to confirm the timeline with them so everyone was on the same page. Becki also gave us great recommendations when we were struggling to come up with a second signature drink (she also makes the world’s best mimosa both with and without alcohol). She helped with all the small details, including creating a day of timeline/schedule. Our families and bridal party were so impressed with the schedule and how smoothly the rehearsal and wedding day went. It was truly perfect.
If Becki is your coordinator, my biggest piece of advice is to trust her! She helped turn what I can best describe as a very rough outline of a half formed vision into full blown reality that exceeded all expectations. Thank you, Becki!!
Hermann fell into the “destination wedding” category for most of our guests as almost everyone was from out of state. So, it was really important to us that our guests felt special and that they had a great time at our wedding. Let me tell you, everyone loved it. Guests commented on how beautiful the venue is, and how great the food and drinks were (a huge shout to Chef Craig and everyone else cooking, bartending, and serving us!). We loved how the venue accommodated all of our guests needs. Just to name a few things, they made special meals for guests with dietary restrictions (for allergies and other medical reasons to religious beliefs), provided a quiet area for breastfeeding, and offered reserved parking right outside the chapel. We also loved that the venue provided boxes so people could take dessert home with them. They also packed up some food (apps, entrees, and dessert) for us to have in our room (the stay was spectacular!).
One person said our wedding “was like a Hallmark movie but better” and we simply could not agree more. Our wedding was perfect and it was really, truly made possible because of the people at Hermann Hill Weddings.

Hermann Hill was everything we could have hoped & dreamed for our wedding, and more!! Every single staff member we interacted with, from the first time we visited to do a tour of the venue with Becki, to our stay in the honeymoon cottages after our wedding, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After researching many venues, Hermann Hill was the only venue we actually toured in person before making our decision. We just absolutely fell in love with the venue. Even though we were having a December wedding, I was so married to the idea of having our ceremony on the beautiful river bluffs, weather be damned! We were the first couple to be introduced to the Fairytale Friday package (it hadn't even gone live on social media yet), which was an awesome package to help us save a little extra money, while still getting so many really cool features, like a full coffee bar with all the fixings (this was super popular at our winter wedding!) Our coordinator, Jennifer, was the perfect match for me and my husband. Our personalities meshed so well together. She was great about checking in with us, seeing if we had any questions or needed any help with anything. Jennifer was always very responsive, even when I would text/email outside of normal business hours. On our big day, Jennifer had her daughter Chloe as the assistant coordinator for the day. We could not have asked for a better coordinator duo! Jennifer & Chloe really listened to our wants and needs throughout the day, even anticipating them ahead of time! Jennifer & Chloe brought such a calming presence to a long, stressful day. They checked in with us frequently, making sure everything was going as it should. They made the day run so smoothly. If there were any hiccups, we didn't even notice! Chef Craig put together some phenomenal dishes for our wedding. Our favorite apps were the asiago cheese dip on crostini, boom boom chicken skewers, and crab dip ala cucumber. For dinner, we had brisket, chicken parmesan, & cheese manicotti as the main entree choices. As sides we had garlic & chive mashed potatoes and dill glazed carrots. As much as I loved EVERYTHING, those mashed potatoes and carrots were to die for!! We did a late night snack of fried pickles and mac n' cheese bites. Signature frozen drinks were the White Russian, and a strawberry daquiri. Everyone was blown away with the quality of the food at our wedding. Chef Craig is so talented!! He took extra care and attention to my mother-in-law's severe egg allergy, ensuring that all of the dishes were properly labeled with allergen information. Our 2 night stay in the honeymoon cottages was so relaxing. The cottages are so luxurious and cozy! The waterfall shower, jacuzzi tub, and fireplace were awesome. Extra food & desserts were delivered to our room so we had lots of options for snacks to choose from! We had such a great time, we booked a honeymoon cottage stay for our 1 year anniversary!! -

Hermann Hill did amazing with our wedding! Becki was our coordinator and life line for the whole wedding planning and day of. Everything went so smoothly. I cannot think of one thing that went wrong for our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing. I love the fact they have a kitchen with a chef on site so we didn’t have to cater in. They have trail events, so you can try their food which was so awesome. They have vendors at those events to help find hair, make up, ect… I couldn’t have ask for a better wedding. I booked this venue a little over a year before my November wedding. I was paired with Becki as my wedding coordinator and she was exactly what I needed throughout the planning process and day of. I am already a very organized person, but Becki goes beyond that and gets into the fine details of things so your day goes as seamless as possible. Becki was so fun to work with throughout the planning process and was always available with an answer within minutes of a text or call. Day of, I didn't have to think about one single detail, as she had everyone on the same page and told me what to do when. I can't imagine my wedding day without Becki, and it truly allowed me to be in the moment with my husband the entire time. Cannot recommend Becki enough and the whole Hermann Hill wedding and catering team! -

Absolutely amazing and beautiful
Absolutely amazing venue with amazing staff! Becki was my coordinator and she was the best. She helped me plan a beautiful wedding in 6 months and made it the easiest planning ever. I loved how inclusive this venue is and how they take care of so many details. I didn’t have to worry about food, seating, set up and take down, table cloths, the photo booth and so much more. I would 100% recommend this facility to everyone, not only was it so easy to plan my wedding with them it’s also just absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t imagine my wedding being any more perfect than it already was! -

So much love for Hermann Hill Weddings!
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THEIR WEDDING AT HERMANN HILL!!! We had the pleasure of discovering this wedding wonderland and had our wedding (Micro 3 package) on August 18. Just over 2 weeks ago and I'm still spinning from how awesome it was! From the start, the staff (Jennifer, Kristen, Teckla, Chef Craig, and so on) is so warm, welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. But not only that, they are GENUINE about their love for their work, which makes planning your wedding easy peasy. I was not at all worried about the planning process or even the timeline of events for the day. Not only the staff, but the location is BEAUTIFUL! The cottages on location, the River Bluff, the gazebo, the reception rooms....literally everything was perfect. And thats not just my opinion, every one of my guests have gushed about it being the best wedding they've ever attended. Thank you to EVERYONE at Hermann Hill, I will cherish these memories forever and can't wait to go back to visit! -

AMAZING! From start to finish Hermann Hill made my husband and I feel so special! We went several times before our weddings for tastings and meetings and everyone was SO KIND. Every staff member made a point to make us feel special and wanted to know exactly how they could make our day special! Much of this was thanks to our coordinator Becki! SHE IS A ROCKSTAR. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make our day so perfect. She was there every step of the way. She was responsive, always had ideas, always supported us, always hyped us up, she made our day go smoothly, and she was there for anything we needed. I can't recommend this place enough. It is beautiful and unique AND DOG FRIENDLY. I will forever be thankful for Becki and everyone at Hermann Hill. :) -

Perfect Wedding
Hermann Hill Weddings is the most perfect wedding venue with the most perfect wedding coordinators who will make your wedding the most perfect day in your life! From the moment you meet them, they begin curating your wedding day specifically to you. From the decor, unique attention and details from your coordinator, to how the WHOLE staff welcomes you and makes you feel like FAMILY - there is no other choice in my opinion. Even Chef Craig and Shelly, The Best Bartender EVER, had amazing impacts on our big day. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, it’s Hermann Hill. There is no other venue in the tri-state area that offers the services, has a team of wedding coordinators, or has a more beautiful venue (and inside backup venue!) than Hermann Hill. -

Having our wedding at Hermann was THE BEST decision we could of made! They make the entire planning process fun and stress-free. Everyone I had the pleasure of speaking to was so nice. I felt like family the moment we took the tour. I've compared my wedding planning process to others and I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. From the catering being on site( the food was amazing btw), to having the linens and dinnerware included in the package. Not to mention having the wedding coordinator for the entire process. Lela was absolutely perfect! We were absolutely blown away by the experience we had. It's definitely one to remember for a lifetime. -

EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC, TOP TIER Wedding Venue and Staff!
Coordinators Becki and Donna ensured our daughter's wedding was perfect! Becki worked with us for months asking the right questions, accomodating vendors, answering endless emails and texts from us, running zoom and in person meetings with us and with our vendors, so much more. On Wedding Day, Becki was everywhere, handling everything, for everyone, with the support of the staff, including bartenders Shelly and Tiffany, and servers and dishwashers Alivia, Breanna, Samantha, Iteara, and Shelby, and providing unsurpassed, speedy service and still sweetly keeping us all on our precise timeline. WOW!
Particularly of note, our coordinator smoothed the way for all of our vendors, and put out fires behind the scenes all along the way, during the wedding, and quite literally during the reception, when one candle flipped and caught a table afire!
Chef Craig Nunnally wowed us all year long during planning and wedding trial visits, and then impressed us even further at our reception, plating special meals for guests with food allergies or mobility issues- so delicious and so much food! He and his staff provided lunch and mimosas in the bridal suite and grooms' party rooms, and later treats like lobster rangoons, brisket... mashed potatoes from heaven, YUM!

The staff at Hermann Hill was so accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed and wished for! We had a prolonged time of taking photos in the bitter cold outside and when we came inside, we were greeted with hot chocolate, blankets, and jackets to warm up by the staff. My husband and I booked the Elopement III package that Hermann Hill offers. It was the best decision we made in our wedding planning! Freyja was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic!
Freyja helped us book a date, pick the location of the ceremony and recommended vendors. She was very careful with my requests for a gluten-free cake and even double checked the snacks in our cottage room to make sure everything was correct! She also provided recommendations of restaurants in town that had gluten-free options!
Everything was completely ready for us when we arrived. All we had to do was get ready and get married!
We stayed two nights in the cottage suites and felt extremely pampered and comfortable for the entirety of our stay. We will definitely be coming back for our anniversary!Hermann Hill Weddings's reply:

We decided to get married at Hermann Hill after staying in the Riverbluff Cottages in 2012. We love Hermann and felt it would be the perfect venue for our big day. We were expecting it to be amazing, but it was absolutely PERFECT! We went to the Wedding Trails before our wedding and that made it super easy to find a photographer, florist, DJ and makeup artist as well. The entire planning process was easy and fun. Freyja was wonderful to work with and very responsive. She and Teckla made the planning fun and easy and made our wedding day run SO smoothly! I had no stress about the day and how things would go and was free to focus on the happiness of the day and getting myself ready.
The venue is magnificent. We loved that everything is on site and we did not have to worry about finding a separate reception venue and caterer, etc. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and courteous and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We have received several comments from friends and family that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to, and they all enjoyed Hermann Hill and Hermann in general.
If you are looking for a low-stress, beautiful wedding venue with amazing planning and wedding staff, look no further. Everything ran so smoothly and our wedding day was flawless! We will be back to stay in the cottages for many anniversaries to come!Hermann Hill Weddings's reply:

Hermann Hill hosted our daughter's wedding. We live in CA and her husband is from MO. So in essence it was a destination wedding. The town of Hermann is very charming and so walkable for hotels, restaurants, and shops. Hermann Hill was beautiful but that is the least of its offerings. Freyja the wedding coordinator could not have been more responsive and efficient. Any need anticipated was taken care of with a smile and competence. Planning a wedding from 2500 miles away is not easy but I did not have a single worry. The location is spectacular and they hit all the right notes with the attention to detail. We went with the best package they had which included a suite for the bride and groom which blew us away. It was perfect. I was concerned at first because I was not finding a venue in MO that I thought my daughter would be happy with. Her and her husband are physicians and being from CA we are exposed to many different type of venues. Once I saw the pictures and then sent my daughter to go see it she fell in love with Hermann Hill. If there is even a chance you are thinking of using this venue I would not hesitate for one second. It was first class from start to finish. They brought food and mimosas to the bridal party all day long. The food choices and the food was excellent. The room overlooking the river was just stunning. The chapel offered an amazing view as well. The staff was courteous and responsive. The sparkler exit was such a unique touch. I could go on and on about how lovely and perfect the day was but I think I made that point. Top notch facility with a top notch coordinator. Donna was our coordinator, although everyone at Hermann Hill has become our extended family.
2 1/2 years of planning for about 200 guests turned into a socially distanced and safe wedding of about 50. It felt just as full and fun and welcoming.
Our theme of RENT the 50s, mixing Broadway musicals and 50s music, was perfect to a "T". That is saying a lot, considering it isn't a common theme.
The food was perfect, the drinks were great, and the lavender lemonade Chef Rhonda made with fresh lavender was so refreshing for a summer wedding!
Honestly, I think I was the most relaxed out of everyone on my wedding, considering all the potential fear someone could have getting people together (mostly outdoors with plenty of space) during a pandemic. Not a detail was missed. Sanitization was a priority for Hermann Hill as it was for us. And with guests and Hermann Hill Weddings keeping health a top priority, we were able to have a wedding with no illness after the fact.
Hermann Hill figured out how to keep our fairytale wedding a fairytale, with only minor changes to the plan we came up with 2 1/2 years before.Hermann Hill Weddings's reply:

We just got married YESTERDAY & have been planning our wedding for almost 2 years. We loved hermann hill from the moment we set eyes on it. All of the coordinators, food service, & employees are SO kind and the best to work with. Personally we’ve worked the most with Lela (official wedding coordinator) & Teckla (worked with before we were assigned Lela for our wedding specifics closer to the date)- BOTH of these women are outstanding at what they do. It was so organized- down to every detail. Lela made herself available anytime we had questions and was great at communicating with us about what was going on. Hermann Hill Weddings made my wedding day absolutely wonderful. Lela, the wedding coordinator, was very helpful in the planning of the event. She helped out in more ways than I expected from the beginning. The day itself went off perfectly without a hitch. Lela thought of everything and I didn't need to stress that day at all. My hair and makeup stylist said that I was the most calm bride they knew and it was only that way because of Lela. The venue itself was gorgeous, everything was beautiful and all my guest left with gorgeous pictures of their own. The food was also very delicious, nothing you would normally expect from a catered meal. I couldn't be happier with how everything went with Hermann Hill Weddings. -

My husband and I got married at Hermann Hill early August. Everything was absolutely perfect. The coordinators are fabulous about helping you with everything you may need, expectedly or unexpectedly. A huge thank you to all of the staff at Hermann Hills! Wow, they truly know exactly how to put on absolutely beautiful weddings and make the entire process as STRESS FREE as possible. Our wedding coordinator Danah was INCREDIBLE!!! We were so grateful to have such a dedicated and professional coordinator. She made sure to find out exactly what our vision for the day was and made it 100% reality. Our entire wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and I honestly believe a huge reason it went so well was because of Danah, Anastasia and the incredibly helpful Hermann Hills staff. Perfect does not even begin to give our wedding day justice, it was everything I could have ever imagined and so much more! The feedback I have received from all of our wedding guests has been stellar, from the food, to the bar to the beautiful ambiance everyone was so impressed and many said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
If you are considering Hermann Hills for your wedding don't think twice and do it! It will be the best decision you make aside from choosing the love of your life! :)Hermann Hill Weddings's reply:

Sheri Sent on 02/21/2017My daughter was married at Hermann Hill earlier this month. Wow! The facilities, location and views are wonderful, but what really put our experience over the top was all the love shown to our family and guests by Freyja, our wedding coordinator. From booking through planning and during the rehearsal and wedding day, she was just like a very hard working part of the family. She seemed to be as excited about our day as we were, she surprised us with little extras, she handled numerous special requests on the wedding day and just went out of her way to make everything extra special. You can tell when people truly love what they do, and Freyja is an absolute joy. I can't recommend this venue, and Freyja, highly enough! -

Nichole Sent on 11/10/2016I knew shortly after getting engaged, that I wanted to be married at this venue. For the sake of argument, we looked at several other venues and kept coming back to Hermann Hill. We just couldn't get everything they were offering at any other venue. Having a coordinator included with what we were paying, priceless. We're both working, career driven individuals and didn't have the time to be dealing with the details, nor did we want to. That's where Teckla came in. Teckla was our lead coordinator and an absolute joy to work with, so responsive to any question I had and the day of, she was on top of it all. I knew if there was a problem, she'd fix it and she came through for us. I'm a little sad that it's over, I loved working with her.
We got so many compliments on our wedding: beautiful ceremony location, even better reception, good food (A+ to Chef Rhonda). Everyone knows, the food isn't always the best at weddings, not the case here. I can't say enough about the quality of the venue, staff, and owners. -

Amanda Sent on 11/07/2016We were married at Hermann Hill on 10/22/16. Saying that our wedding day was a dream come true would absolutely be an understatement. From the moment we booked our wedding, we were blown away by everything this venue has to offer. Everyone on their staff was extremely amazing. Our wedding coordinator Becki was there for me anytime I had even the silliest of questions. I felt as if I was working with a best friend. The only thing negative I have to say is that the day went by too fast. I would have loved another day of celebration at this venue. If you are thinking about booking here- you absolutely should! Thanks to all the Hermann Hill staff and to Terry and Peggy for such a perfect wedding day! -

Rachel Sent on 09/25/2016I can't put into words how perfect our wedding was. Sharon and Ellen were our coordinators and they were amazing. They were above and beyond. Our entire planning and wedding process was stress free. We had severa guests tell us our wedding was the best they've been to. Everything went off seamlessly. The owner, Terri, was there throughout the wedding even helping with set up and tear down. They took care of everything for me. The food was delicious- Chef Rhonda is amazing. Our bartenders, Bobby and Danita were amazing. Our officiant, Jonie, did and amazing job and was a perfect fit for us. I literally have no complaints about anything. David Sent on 12/10/2014Jill Winkelmann went above and beyond helping Sandra and I planning our wedding. She made us feel like one of the family. Did not push anything on us. Gave us plenty of ideas on how to make the most out of a small budget. Jill and her staff treated all of our guest like we were at a family reunion. It was the best time ever, and all our guest kept telling us that Jill made them feel like they were at their own party. The Best time ever! Samantha Sent on 04/29/2014Jill & Merry our wedding planner have been amazing through our journey to planning the perfect wedding & reception. I was able to coordinate my colors to the sashes provided by Hermann Hill. They also were able to help me find vendors and provide me with the perfect wedding cake designer. A room is provided at the Inn to the Bride and Groom normally $350.00 just to stay one night. Bonus! Jill & Merry are very professional and want to make your wedding and experience the best. 100 % I would say this is the location for your ceremony or reception.Hermann Hill Weddings's reply:
