The perfect experience you want

Perfect! Rebecca was incredible to work with. She is an expert and knows how to find what you want and also what will look great on you and pair it with the vibe and feeling you want to have. I was on a very short time window and my wedding was in Bali (its hot there). She picked out the perfect dress for me on the first attempt. It was such a simple purchase. She was patient when I tried it on and shared my vision of how I wanted it to look on the beach and the alterations got done quickly and were perfect. She had it cleaned for me and was so helpful (my wedding was 3 weeks later). The location is beautiful and as soon as you open the glass doors, there is this magical feeling. From the crisp white walls, the way the gorgeous dresses hang so beautifully, it feels like you are in the most special boutique. The dresses are stunning, unique, special and the highest of quality and all different designs and styles to suit your desires. Premium. The entire experience from talking to Rebecca, going back for alterations and picking up the dress the team support was perfect. I recommend to any bride who wants a special dress and experience where you want to feel taken care of. The dresses accessories are gorgeous. You don't need to go anywhere else. The team, dresses, service, experience are the best I have experienced by far. Note, I had been engaged for 2.5 years and had tried on over 50 dresses ranging from 400-10,000. I described what I wanted (having seen hundreds of dresses I knew what I wanted and liked) and she found it and made it so simple. The dressing rooms are beautiful. Recommend to any bride who wants an incredible experience, high quality special dresses and a team that knows how to help you get the look you want for your wedding. The best. My sister got a beautiful dress here

I came in a few days back with my sister to help her find that perfect wedding dress. She found exactly what she was looking for. They had a huge selection to choose from, adorable cats, and great customer service. She's in the process of getting some alterations done to the dress, so we're hoping for the best. But so far, so good!

I recently found my dress here, happy with the entire experience

I recently purchased my dress here, came in with my sister and they were all very polite. They had such a wide selection of dresses, I ended up getting exactly what I wanted. Very minor alterations needed to be done, so I've been working with the seamsstress on that. I'm looking forward to finally getting it.

First dress I tried on I feel in love with! I wouldn't be available to me because my wedding was too soon and was also out of my budget. They offered me the sample dress and gave me a great deal! I had no issues with any of my fittings, Here comes the bride is a great dress shop.!

I went to several shops, should have came here first!

I went to three other locations, but thankfully found the dress of my dreams here at HCTB. The staff was very helpful, Shelly was wonderful. The dress I had, needed a very minor correction but they had it fixed when they said they would. I feel they really made my special day. Felt the love while I was here.

The best experience!

My dress was the absolute star of the show for my wedding! The dress fit like a glove and the alterations were perfection! Rebecca and her staff were gems and extremely kind and helpful through all of my fittings… and the VEIL!! It was all perfect and my dress made me feel like a princess and beautiful with how it fit! 10/10!!!!

Amazing customer service!

I had gone dress shopping with an "entourage" back in August of 2021 and ended up picking a dress I was hesitant about. I found myself regretting my decision and when my first fitting appointment arrived, I almost cried w. disappointment in my selection. It was a beautiful dress but just didn't flatter my body type. I was able to speak w. the manager (Rebecca) of Here Comes the Bride and she graciously arranged a new dress shopping appointment for me so I could try and exchange my dress. This was 1 month prior to my wedding date - crazy close timing I know! I went for my appointment and Shelley was my stylist - she was so kind and thorough and knew exactly what kind of dress would look good on me! She helped me pick out my dream dress and I was just so grateful that I was able to walk down the aisle feeling my best! I cannot recommend this boutique enough!

Very smooth and helpful

I picked my dress out months before the Covid lockdown. They stored it for me all year during the shutdown and the following year leading up to our new wedding date since we pushed it out due to Covid. The ladies in the shop were very sweet and attentive. The only think I didn’t like was the store cat. Having a cat running loose around wedding dress is like a worse nightmare and it made me very nervous. Besides that my experience was amazing!

My dream dress!

MY DREAM DRESS! I knew exactly what I wanted in my wedding dress: A-line skirt, off-the-shoulder sleeves, sweetheart neckline, subtle sparkle, easy to wear, and a bow! I had already been to SIX other shops that weekend, and no one had what Here Comes the Bride had! I described what I was looking for and they immediately pulled a dress that had EVERYTHING! What I loved most is that I could customize the sleeves, the bow, anything! They even had a matching veil. Combined, it was at the top of our budget, but worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Additionally, their tailor is a magician. The fit was perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with how I looked on my wedding day. Thank you, HCTB!

Awesome selections and great customer service!

It was such a pleasant dress-finding experience at Here Comes the Bride (San Diego)! The staff is super sweet and helpful and their selections are amazing, they really have something for everyone (shapes/sizes/designs/prices)! It's definitely a one-stop-shop (alterations and all). Our original wedding plans were canceled, just a couple of weeks out, due to COVID. Here Comes the Bride allowed us to come back in for alterations and really showed us what they're all about - customer service! Amazing!

Here Comes the Bride is AMAZING and I am SOOOO grateful for Rebecca and her team!!! They truly took care of me from start to finish and made sure my wedding dress was perfect for my wedding day. Words cannot describe how amazing, thoughtful and caring Rebecca was throughout my wedding dress process. She took such good care of me and I'm absolutely OBSESSED with my dress, veil and shoulder cover. Everyone kept telling me how beautiful I looked and it was all thanks to Rebecca and her team at HCTB. From Jenny at the front to the seamstress who made my alternations, everyone was so incredible and truly made me feel like a beautiful bride. I 100% recommend getting your dress at HCTB and don't even bother going anywhere else! HCTB was the first and only bridal shop I went to because they have such a huge selections for all shapes, sizes and styles. I absolutely love my dress and couldn't have pictured a more perfect wedding dress for my wedding day.

Highly Recommend

I had the best experience with Here Comes the Bride and can't recommend this shop enough! From the moment we walked in too see the large variety of dresses to working with Jen who was so helpful in my finding the perfect dress to the alterations with Martha, the entire process was a dream!
I cannot say enough great things about Jen and their entire staff. Jen's excitement and enthusiasm really made my finding "THE dress" feel so special. Not only that but she was so knowledgable on being able to slightly customize or alter dresses and how it would affect them. She was honest in her opinions and I knew she really cared. I was between 2 dresses, one which I just loved and another that I liked because it had some shimmer; she had the idea to add some small sequins to key points of the dress where there would be movement to create a shimmer and was both conscious of helping me create my dream dress without having to add huge costs. Overall she was amazing!
They do alterations in house which is also a huge bonus and Martha who I worked with for this was incredible! The day of my wedding our guests were not just complimenting my dress but how will it fit me! She was so patient, kind and just overall talented!

Dream bridal gown

I would highly recommend Here Comes the Bride! All the staff was always so friendly and helpful! My mom and I were lucky enough to work with Jenn at Here Comes the Bride when I said yes to my dress! Jenn was amazing and was such a happy memory to look back on during the wedding planning process! She is talented and knowledgeable about all their dresses and truly wants you to feel your best and find the dress for you! I also purchased my veil at Here Comes the Bride and my wedding dress alterations were through the store as well! I had such a positive alterations experience. They did such high quality work and made my dress fit me perfectly! I felt so beautiful on my actual wedding day! My wedding was a destination wedding and Here Comes the Bride vacuumed sealed my dress for the plane and I had no issues! So thankful for Here Comes the Bride!

This is the place to get your wedding dress!!!!

After a horrible experience at another bridal store in San Diego, I was really disappointed about my experience finding the perfect dress. Then Jenn happened !!! OMG I have no words to thank Jenn about all her patience, great attitude, service and the attention to me and my girls! She is amazing !!! The store is really pretty and you get your own dressing room for you and your bridal team, my dress arrive one week early then expected, so everything came out perfect. I'm a wedding coordinator and I'll be recommending HCTB to all my friends, family and future brides.

Karla is a Rockstar!

I cannot say enough great things about Karla! She literally saved my dress! I had originally ordered my dress to be lined in white even the the original design was to have a more nude or illusion appearance. However, when it came in 6 months later, it was not how I envisioned it would be. In speaking with the manager of the store and hearing my disappointment, she put me in contact with her best seamstress, Karla, to try and fix the dress. She has been in the business for many years and her experience really shows. Not only that but Karla was a jo to work with throughout this process. Karla ended up taking apart the dress and changing out the entire mesh lining. I can only imagine how time consuming this process was as she had to be very delicate with the dress and the lace overlay. And man she did not disappoint! It turned out to be everything I had envisioned and now looking back on my wedding pictures I am beyond happy with the dress and the fit and am still so grateful for Karla and all she did to make sure this dress was the dress of my dreams! Thank you again Karla, you are a rockstar.

I made my appointment with HCTB because it was one of the only bridal salons nearby that carried the dresses I was interested in trying on. I had Jenn as my consultant and she was beyond amazing. I showed her pictures of my top 2 gown choices and not only did they have them in stock, but she pulled a great selection of other styles for me to try on. I got to fully immerse myself in the fun of trying on dresses and Jenn made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in everything. She's the kind of hype woman you want in your corner telling your how genuinely fabulous you are! My whole experience was easy and effortless, and I walked away with my dream dress! I absolutely adore my wedding dress from Here Comes the Bride!!! I got so, so many compliments on my dress at my wedding. Maggie spent two appointments helping me choose the perfect dress. She made so many great suggestions and was available through all of my fittings. The dress fit perfectly, thanks to three fittings with Martha. She made tons of alterations and listened to everything I asked for. She even made me a custom garter! The staff at HCTB also vacuu-packed my dress so I could carry it on the plane to my wedding in New York. It arrived in perfect condition! I am so, so happy with my dress-buying experience!

I'm so thankful to my friend who recommended Here Comes the Bride when looking for my wedding dress. It is a smaller boutique but with a wide range of styles broken out by price - which I appreciated as a bride on a budget :) I made an appointment and was greeted by my own service attendant and a room for just me and girls. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted so having our own space made the experience much more enjoyable than being in a big room with strangers watching you make such an important decision (sorry David's Bridal). I told the attendant what I like, what I don't like, and my budget that I absolutely 100% did not want to exceed. Turns out, the first dress I tried on was the one! I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and followed through.

Once the dress was ordered, I was notified when the dress was delivered, when my alterations appointments were coming up, and when my dress was ready for final pick-up. The staff was enjoyable, professional and I highly recommend to anyone in the San Diego area getting married!

I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience at Here Comes the Bride! Maggie was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I had an idea of what I thought I wanted going in, but left purchasing almost the opposite type of style (which looked a million times better on me), thanks to Maggie's knowledge and experience. Maggie is super professional- I wasn't sure where to start so she had me try on one dress in each silhouette to get an idea of what looked best with my figure. Then she brought in samples of the type of dress I had originally wanted along with a dress that she picked for me. I was hesitant to even try it, thinking it wouldn't be flattering on my figure- but I instantly fell in love with it. It was perfect and I looked flawless. What I loved most about Maggie is that she wasn't pushy at all. Other bridal shops were very pushy to the point where I wanted to walk out, but Maggie never pushed- her talent and skills did all the work! I am so truly lucky I listened to Maggie and tried that dress on. I felt amazing on my wedding day and have Maggie to thank for it!

I went to so many places looking for the right dress and I found it here. Maggie was the one who helped me and she walked me through the whole process and was so patient as I tried on a million dresses. I had no idea what type of dress I was looking for and she made it happen! I am so thankful to her as I fell in love with my dress a little late and she made sure I got it on time and that we booked all the fittings in time to have it perfect for my wedding day. This bridal shop is somewhat of a family tradition - my mother and sister both purchased their wedding dresses from here as well. I was able to find my dream dress, there were no "surprise" fees, and Martha did an amazing job tailoring the dress to fit me exactly. I couldn't be happier with my how my dress looked or made me feel!

I contacted the shop regarding a Pronovias or Marisa gown. The responses were prompt and the styles the consultant found were exactly what I wanted. Professionalism and courtesy are not lacking!

Such a wonderful experience! the salon is beautiful and really provides that bridal experience every woman wants. Rebecca was a delight to work with and Martha was amazing in tailoring my dress to fit perfectly. The selection is fabulous and reasonable. Can't say enough good things about this salon!

I know each bride is different, but I feel confident when I say that this is the ONLY bridal store you need to visit! Not only did I find my dress here, but two of my friends have also. The most important thing about this store is of course their beautiful wedding gowns. They have a tasteful variety of styles and prices. I fell in love with several dresses. When I had narrowed it down to three, a team member found one that encompassed my favorite part of all three dresses into the one perfect one. I cried when I put it on. It was perfection. HCTB has private dressing suites which my bridesmaids loved, complete with chocolate. But, what also really sets this place apart is their service. I came in for a dress fitting mere weeks before my wedding and I still had not found a veil or wedding belt. I was in near tears... one of the team members went out of her way to call the owner and look in the back and find me the most beautiful veil and belt for an outrageously affordable price since they were considered off-the-rack. They were determined to help me fulfill every important element and that means so very much. This place did not need another great review but my experience was so exceptional I had to share. I absolutely loved the dress I found at Here Comes the Bride. I wasn't one of those brides who always dreamed of my dream wedding dress, and to be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to the process of finding one. But, at Here Comes the Bride, it was fast, easy, and they made it a fun day for me and my friends. The sales associate who helped me (Geanie) was great, and and added a real personal touch.

If I could give Kayla 10 stars, I would. I adore her. I don't know where to begin. The short version of the story is that I started out my wedding dress shopping experience thinking I'd want a strapless lace fit n flare and ended up with something completely opposite of that...and it's amazing! If it were not for Kayla, I don't think I would have ended up in my dream dress, nor even realized that I what I thought I wanted was actually not at all what I want.

The store is gorgeous and has a very luxurious feel. The dresses are arranged by price (brilliant) and the consultants are all wonderful. There are several private fitting rooms that fit 2-3 people (plus the bride) so you have a totally private experience with just your crew. Much preferred this set up to some of the other high end salons I visited in San Diego.

My wedding is in February of 2016 and once I've been through the alteration process, I'll come back to review again and add photos. I loved everything about my experience shopping at Here Comes the Bride and I cannot recommend Kayla enough.

I found my wedding dress here on the first visit. I instantly fell in love! My consultant was transparent, helpful and NOT PUSHY. She listened to my requests (mostly on price) and showed me an amazing sample dress that was 50% off. I bought it!

The store is classy and clean. There doesn't seem to be a variety but my consultant was able to pull out a good number of dresses based on what I wanted (lace, mermaid or trumpet style, long train, sweetheart) and within my price range. This type of dress sounds common but during my engagement, I actually went to a wedding where the bride bought the exact same dress I was seriously considering at David's Bridal.. Whew!

The only small disappointment I had was waiting for someone to open the store for an alteration's appointment, which may be scheduled before the store opens. I thought my appointment was missed and almost left, when at the last moment someone came to the door.

Speaking of alterations, the prices are a bit high but I had a LOT of labor done, which would make any place expensive. These women are serious hard workers and know what they are doing. I was very impressed by their detail and craft work.

All in all, I still recommend my engaged friends to check out this wonderful store!

HCTB is a beautiful bridal shop with a great selection of dresses. I found the Matthew Christopher Sophia dress I fell in love with here at a trunk show. Cynthia was very nice and knowledgeable. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Martha was amazing at alterations. My dress fit perfectly and she accommodated my work schedule for fittings. I also purchased my veil and a rhinestone belt that I had sewn into the dress here.

This bridal shop was amazing! I was an out of town bride and Rebecca went above and beyond to help ease my mind. I even made a last minute decision to add a veil to my purchase and she got it done in two days. Felt like the bell of the ball every time. I would highly recommend this store :)

From start to finish, my entire experience at HCTB was nothing short of great. I first visited on New Years Eve after having visited other wedding dress locations in Central California the week prior. I had found a dress at one of those other shops that I fell in love with, though the logistics of ordering it from somewhere so far from home made it difficult. Luckily, I had found the centrally-located HCTB while making phone calls to local wedding gown shops and talked to Rebecca. After she told me that I could take advantage of their free alterations promotion, I decided to go in. While I already knew that she could order what I wanted, Rebecca suggested I try on some of their dresses anyway since they could be purchased off the rack for half-off. I didn't find anything I loved quite as much, so I ordered the gorgeous Casablanca Bridal 2018 I had wanted. I put half down and waited until April, when my dress finally arrived!

The free alterations promotion saved me $499, and I went in one try-on of the dress and three fittings. I then had it steamed for an extra $100 and picked it up a couple days before the wedding with my mom. The steaming seemed to leave a few creases in the dress, but it wasn't a big deal. The dress fit me absolutely gorgeous, and the great fitting is due to Martha's expertise. She was very warm and efficient, and she seemed to enjoy her line of work.

Over the course of the last six months at HCTB (and I hope my spellings are correct), I've dealt with Rebecca, Martha, Jeanne, Karina, Lea, and one other gal (whom I regret not getting her name). Every single one of them was friendly, professional, and very helpful. I'd especially like to highlight Jeanne and Lea, who were especially wonderful. I am happy I ordered my dress thru HCTB and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for their gown in the San Diego area.

My dress was gorgeous!!! What I loved about HCTB was that there were no pushy sales tactics. They tell you the dresses start out at one price on one side of the room, and as you move counter-clockwise, the prices go up. They help you to find what you like, but they never try to make the decision for you. They were wonderful, the alterations were perfect, and I got a beautiful bracelet from them too! I found working with them to be smooth, easy, and pleasurable, and I absolutely loved my dress!!

I loved my entire experience at Here Comes the Bride! Kayla helped me find my dress and she was so incredibly nice.

They have a 500 dollar flat fee for alterations. But the nice thing about the fee is that the alterations are almost limitless. I had the seamstress, (MARTHA WHO IS AMAZING!!!) take the lace from my mom's dress and she made an entire keyhole back that was added onto my dress. She added a little bit of beading to the top of my dress. She took in the dress at the hips to make it more fit n flare. She made the dress a sweetheart neckline and lowered the back of the dress to show a little more of my back. Martha really helped me to turn in a standard dress into something completely individualized and unique according to my vision. I loved, loved, LOVED it!!!!

If you buy a dress at HCTB, make sure you have Martha as your seamstress! I have not one bad thing to say about her, she made my dress PERFECT and she is so respectful, professional, and nice!!!

I traveled to where my daughter lives to help her find a dress. We needed to make all appointments for one day. Here Comes the Bride was very flexible in setting up a longer appointment. They also had no issue with me taking pictures of my daughter in any of the dresses. Almost sure that we had found her dress, we still had two more appointment with other boutiques the we wanted to still see. After going to the other two and not finding what she wanted, we called Here Comes the Bride back to see if we could come back to try the dress on. They were happy to accommodate us (they were very busy too)! Not only that, we bought the sample and walked out with her dress that day! My daughter was thrilled with it and them. They had a lot of dresses to choose from in all different price ranges. They were very careful not to pull a dress that was beyond our budget!

This was my first dress shopping experience and I didn't have to go any further. Ray helped me and he was awesome! I also really liked that i tried on the dresses in private room so i never felt on display in the showroom or had to fight another bride for the mirror. He really encouraged me to try a little bit of everything, which I'm so thankful for since the dress I fell in love with was completely opposite of what I thought I wanted. The shop is small but they actually have an impressive variety of styles and prices.
The woman that did my alterations (I'm embarrassed I forgot her name) was great! My dress fit like a glove and she couldn't be sweeter!
PS they didn't tell me when I made the appointment but you can bring your own champagne for when you are shopping. And also I love that they allow you to take pictures!

I purchased my wedding dress from Rebecca at Here Comes the Bride. She is a very knowledgable bridal consultant and makes the wedding experience very special. Martha did the alterations to my dress and she was spectactular. She helped me make decisions on the bustle, shoes, and altering details. Although the alteration price is fixed, she did not cut corners. She made multiple adjustments until the dress fit like a glove. You know you picked the right place when all of the complements you receive on your wedding day are about how gorgeous your dress is and not necessarily how gorgeous you are :) I have already recommended this place to a friend who bought a dress there and would highly recommend it again.

I had a great experience working with Rebecca, the manager at Here Comes the Bride. She offered me very personable service and spent a lot of time to make sure I found the perfect dress. I ended up finding a dress at another store, but went back to Rebecca so that I could work with her. She ordered me the dress and although I needed it within 6 months, which is usually cutting it close in the wedding dress world, it arrived even earlier! I was having some health issues prior to my wedding so my weight was fluctuating, but I had my alterations done at their shop and they were very affordable. The lady who did my alterations was very professional and did an amazing job on my dress! My dress was steamed and ready to go for my big day and it looked absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Rebecca and Here Comes the Bride for your special day.

Loved HCB! I went in and immediately thought i could afford anything in the store, my friend told me to chill, good thing because they were actually reasonably priced for my budget. I ended up find THE dress and just to my luck/anxiety i found it but it was only available sample sale at a size 15. It had a beaded lace overlay with a short beautiful train. The perfect amount of too much that i was looking for, for a beach wedding. Much to my dismay i am a size 4 and cutting that much off a dress scared the daylights out of me. Then, in came Martha to the rescue, if you need altering Martha is your girl or your crazy!! In one visit she had made it fit me to a T, and she was more detailed about the fit that i would even notice. The dress was perfect for half the price since it was sample sale and Martha fit the dress to me. HCB, thank you for my gorgeous, i just wish it was acceptable for me to wear it more!!

This was a wonderful bridal shopping experience. I went to a few different bridal shops and nothing compared to the quality and hospitality of Here Comes The Bride. I arranged an appointment, and Yolanda was wonderful in helping guide myself, my mother and two cousins throughout the store. I brought in ideas - I really wanted something lace and with a vintage feel. The nice thing was Yolanda pulled different dresses that were in my price range to try, but we were also left to pursue the racks. The dresses are arranged by price, so it is very easy to stop yourself from getting out of your price range.

I found a beautiful James Clifford dress (who wasn't even on my radar as a designer) and they had finished up the trunk show the week earlier. I was still given the trunk show discount despite coming back 1 week later to actually purchase my dress.

Many people complain about the alterations there, but given the intricate lace detailing on my dress, I didn't feel comfortable with anyone else doing it. I called one month ahead of my first fitting appointment (which was about 3 months prior to my wedding per their recommendation) and they were able to schedule me with ease. After the first fitting with Martha - who did WONDERS to my dress, and made the dress fit me like a glove - they scheduled my next 3 fittings to ensure that I wouldn't run into a scheduling problem later on.

They even vacuumed sealed my dress, so my 8 hour drive to my wedding with my dog wouldn't ruin my beautiful dress. All in all, I am very pleased with the service I received. And would encourage any bride to check them out - just plan ahead - this isn't something you can do quickly!!!!!

This was the first store I visited and we felt welcomed since we got into the store. Rebecca the manager assited us and since she spoke spanish she could clear all the doubts my mom had. The rooms were you try the dresses are so unique, clean, professional, private, beatiful and confortable that the whole experience could not be compared to other stores we went to.
My dress was spectacular!... it arrived on time!!... and all the arrangements needed were done to perfection. Rebeca and their staff really made me feel special and offered me a good price on everything.

I had an earlier appointment at David's Bridal and while I had decided on a Vera Wang wedding gown there, I knew that I still had an appointment with HCTB right after. I'm so glad that I waited for that appointment as I not only found the perfect dress, but I also scored it for over 50% off due to a sample sale they were having. I even went back much later after I'd purchased my gown to look at beaded sashes and ended up buying another wedding gown as well as 2 gorgeous evening dresses and they, too, were all on sale due to a special they were having that day. Talk about luck striking twice! Jeanne, my consultant, was the absolute best to work with, but everyone was great, so you can't go wrong. I forgot her name, but I also loved the seamstress that works on Tuesdays & Fridays; she's also great to work with. Their gowns are beautiful as is the salon, the individual dressing rooms and the staff as well. The mini candy buffet doesn't hurt either. ;^)

We wanted mother daughter shopping even if I didn't find my dream dress while she was here. Here Comes the Bride was our second stop and I fell in love with a Tara Keely dress. My consultant was nothing but wonderful, it truly was the best experience!!! The dress was really reasonably priced and I LOVED WEARING IT ALL NIGHT!! I used here comes the bride years ago for my wedding and the staff did an excellent job listening and pulling dresses that were what I wanted and were within my budget. I work in the wedding industry and see a lot of dresses, so I knew pretty much what I wanted when I walked in the door style wise. I actually ended up buying the first dress I tried on--I only tried on one after that, but went back to the first one and bought it same day. The staff was SPOT ON with what I wanted. The alterations were very competitively priced and were amazing. I got married outside of the area and the staff did an excellent job of packing up the dress we could travel with it in a carry on bag. I also had a VERY short engagement and it was 4 months from the time I bought the dress until my wedding and the staff at Here Comes The Bride was able to get the dress ordered, in, and altered with a few weeks to spare!

At Here Comes the Bride, I tried on dress after dress after dress. I wanted something really unique and special, but with the help of a consultant I realized that I really wanted a dress that was figure flattering. I'm a size 8, apple-shaped girl and I needed a dress that would not accentuate the fact that I was top-heavy, but rather a dress that would give me the right proportions. With the consultant's help, we found that dress. She was so patient and let me think it over and try on other dresses if I felt that I wasn't sure. It helped to not feel pressure to buy that day. I ended up paying about $1000 for my gown. But, beware, alterations can cost anywhere from $300-600 in addition to the cost of the gown.

If you are going wedding dress shopping in San Diego make sure that "Here Comes the Bride" is on your list of places to go. It has a fabulous ambiance with nice, clean, well lit and spacious changing rooms. The staff is extremely professional and they have a good selections of dresses in a range of prices. I tried on dresses at a number of different places around San Diego and this place was my favorite, so I was happy when I happened to find the right dress here, too!

I think I went to every bridal salon in San Diego. Small cramped dressing rooms, no a/c. Here Comes the Bride was so amazing. From the second I walked in it was beautiful. They had dresses I hadn't seen anywhere else. The girls wereso nice, & the dressing room was bigger than my room. I had such an amazing time there & found my perfect dress. Everything went so smoothly, from getting it ordered to doing the fitting. Getting married in August it was very busy in there, but they always fit me in & took great care of me. I recomend everyone at least go in to try dresses on. You'll truely feel like a bride!

This shop is wonderful. Everyone there is so nice. And their gown selection is superb.

I drove there from L.A. because they were the only place that carried the dress I wanted.

The service was wonderful and the alterations were expertly done.

Can't recommend this place enough.

I bought my dress from Here Comes the Bride and they were wonderful!! We had an appointment and when we went in they had champagne, strawberries and chocolates waiting - we felt pampered and important the moment we walked in. I showed the girl some pictures and she easily pulled a few similar dresses. I fell in love with third dress I tried on - EASY and FUN!
There was a bit of stress towards the date of the wedding since my dress came in a week before the wedding (they told me it could take a while since it was coming from Italy), but they were very reassuring and opened early for me to get my first fitting done around my schedule. My dress was ready to go in time for the wedding - no stress at all once it was here. AND they were able to fix my daughters dress quickly and easily after Alfred Angelo screwed up her alterations. They were definitely worth every penny!

I agree with other comments that I like the new location much better. They have private rooms and it's beautiful. They have a great selection of really beautiful dresses! I really liked everyone there! Megan special ordered my Lazaro dress for me (and got me a better price on it). She was insanely helpful and wonderful to work with!
I nearly had a heart attack when it came in like 5 sizes too big! The tailors there are brilliant! My gown is so intricate and you can't that it was altered at all! They are genius!
I also bought a headband there which is beautiful! And they were able to have it made for me really quickly!

Definitely recommend Here Comes the Bride to anyone!

Wow was my dress an eye cather! I am sending Here Comes the Bride a picture so they can see how amazing the dress fit me and looked! My family and guests thought the dress was the most gorgeous they have ever seen! My sister wants to wear it for her wedding!

Rebecca and her staff are the most professional, considerate and accomodating group of individuals that any bride would ask for. I went to several boutiques in Bev. Hills- includ. Renee Strauss, Monique Lhullier etc. and Here Comes the Bride not only had my dream dress, but a dream staff. :) My dress was a high-end couture styled dress and it was a total show-stopper for my wedding day. :)

I loved the flexibility I had at Here Comes The Bride. I found a dress that was unique and had certain aspects that I loved. However, I wanted to change the pattern of the skirt, which was a large project. Martha was amazing and tailored the gown to fit my dreams! She is the best!

These ladies were absolutely amazing. Kayla was SO helpful in finding a dress, and she even called me when they got some new dresses in that were in my (low for them) price range.
Then, my dress got in late and was the WRONG COLOR! I thought it didn't look right, but I didn't make a huge deal because I thought they couldn't fix it anyways. Eventually, I ended up bringing it up with Rebecca, who absolutely saved the day a week (!!) before my wedding. She kept asking why I hadn't talked to her before, and she called the manufacturer, made them ship the right color rush from Canada, and then got the dress and did the alterations the DAY before my wedding! And they didn't charge me for the alterations to make up for all the problems...Absolutely made my wedding!

This was the third place I had visited looking for that perfect dress. I went to a place in Costa Mesa that I was not entirely impressed with- felt very pressured. We happen to find this place just by luck and were pleasantly surprised by the
ease of the sales ladies and great service offered by the tailor. The lady that helped me was so sweet and actually listened to what I had to say. She found me the perfect dress on the first try that happen to have been used at one of thier trunk shows. After my first two fittings, I became ill very close to the date of the wedding, but they got me in to see the tailor who was more than happy to do many fittings for me to get the perfect fit. I also bought a gorgeous tiara that matched the dress perfectly. I would highly recommend this place. They offer dresses in all price ranges, however, I noticed that many of them seemed to be more in the 800 to 1200 range which I think is fantastic for the great service.

When I was looking to begin my wedding dress search I was actually quite hesitant to make an appointment with Here Comes The Bride because I had seen some really mixed reviews from past brides and some questionable responses back to those reviews, But an old friend had recently purchased her gown from them so I decided to give them a try and I am SO GLAD that I did! I was living in Chicago when I began wedding planning so I made an appointment on a weekend I was back in San Diego and I Said Yes to the Dress that day! They have a great selection for brides that aren’t trying to break the bank on their dress and the staff was super sweet! I tried on 7 or 8 dresses that day and never felt rushed. All my fittings went smoothly and making or changing appointments was quick and easy. Here Comes the Bride has a great selection of dresses and they really make it such a special experience!

I went to this salon multiple times trying to find my wedding dress. My consultant, Jeanne, was super helpful and let me try on a few dresses and even helped me Facetime my mom, who couldn't be there. She was so nice and really worked with me to find the perfect dress. I first came to look at one designer in particular, but when I started my appointment, they directed me to the trunk show that they currently had going on. Jeanne was so great and I highly recommend going here to try and find your dress, they're just a little bit pricey and they name their dresses (instead of keeping the vendor's style numbers) so it's a bit harder to see if they have a particular dress.

Here comes the bride is wonderful. I worked with an amazing associate named Jeanne. She was very warm and helpful. I shopped on black friday and won free alterations! They have private rooms and comfy couches if you bring an entourage. I also purchased an amazing blinged out belt that I can not wait to wear.

Not only did I receive outstanding service from Here Comes the Bride during my consults, Martha (the seamstress who did my alterations) absolutely transformed my dress into the most amazing dress I had ever seen. It was literally perfect! I had moved from San Diego to Virginia between finding the dress and the wedding, and they were great about really accomodating the rare times I could fly back for fittings and the tight schedule I was on. I can't say enough great things about Here Comes the Bride!

ask for Megan! She is extremely helpful and gave me wonderful recommendations. It was a bit frustrating scheduling a fitting, they are very busy and took awhile to get to me. Besides that, they were wonderful.

I came into look at dresses for the first time expecting to just get a feel for what type of dress to look for in the future. Maggie was so incredible. I was pretty overwhelmed with all the dresses on the rack but she picked out 5 dresses to start with that spanned a bunch of different styles so that I could figure out what cut I liked best. Amazingly one of the dresses she picked ended up being "the one". I was hesitant to commit to a dress after only looking at one store so I looked at two other stores and realized that this was the one that I wanted. I was really impressed with this store over the other two because of the personal attention that Maggie gave me. She listened to what I was thinking and picked out multiple dresses that were perfect for me. She helped me get into each dress and emphasized that it didn't matter what she thought it mattered how I felt. She made me focus on which dress made me smile the most as the way to decide between all the gorgeous options. As I am far away from friends and family she even helped me take a ton of pictures to send home to my mom. Also she was incredibly helpful and flexible with scheduling appointments, and my dress is set to come in way ahead of time! My only advice is start looking early because they can't make designers make dresses faster and its out of their control to some degree.

This place was amazing! When I walked in, I saw the dress of my dreams hanging where I soon found out that the most expensive dresses were. My budget was $3000 but no more than $5000, turns out that the Rivini dress that I feel in love with was just over $7000. The consultant (which her name escapes my mind right now) was really really really nice, she switched between Spanish and English so that my grandmother and mother-in-law could understand. She was really trying hard to keep me at the lower end of my budget and therefore wouldn't let me try on the dress that I fell in love with because she wanted to make sure that I would only try on dresses that I could afford. I finally said that I would be willing to take the risk of falling in love with a dress that was out of my budget (and sure enough I did fall even more in love with it). When she saw how much I loved it she went and asked her manager if I could have a discount and managed to get me a 15% discount. Because it was so out of my budget I asked for some time to think about it and they gave my until the end of the day. When I finally decided to get it, they were very flexible and respected the discount.
The only problem was that I never received and email or phone call when my phone arrived, I just got one random call telling me that I needed to go pick up my dress or they would have to send it back. When I called to explain that that was the first I had heard about my dressing arriving they apologized and Delphina made up for it by giving us amazing service, calling us whenever they had sales (I got my wedding shoes here for $15 thanks to her!) and showing us the sale dresses from which I bought my dress for my bridal shower at 50% off!!
Maria, the seamstress is AMAZING!!!!!!! she cared about the smallest details and didn't stop working on it until it was perfect to her standards (which were much higher than my own!)
The only reason that I gave it a 4.7 instead of 5.0 was because of the small mix up.

I enjoyed working with the people at Here Comes the Bride. I had been to several other bridal shops in the area and felt that they were the most professional and had the nicest show room of stores in my price range. It's a well-kept store with professional people and a nice selection of dresses. The only reason I gave them less than 5 stars on the quality of service was because the alterations could have been a little bit better. I had very minor things done to my dress (bra cups added and the bustle)...both were coming loose by the end of the wedding night. The stitches on the bra cups were very loose and the ties on the bustle broke within an hour of dancing. I had to hold my dress up all night. Otherwise, I'd recommend them for the dresses!!

Beautiful Dress Selections

Here Comes the Bride San Diego is an adorable shop located in the heart of San Diego. They have a wide variety of in-style and rare dresses that are fit to please any bride. Jen was a great help in finding my dress. She had great suggestions and really listened to my likes and dislikes until we found the one. There were times when I called the shop and never had a return call. I did have to be proactive in calling them for an update, rather than them calling me. My dress arrived in plenty of time and the alterations department was great.

I originally contacted them for an appointment and hadn't heard back but we were in the area waiting for our appointment at another bridal shop so we went in and with luck, someone had cancelled their appointment and they fit us right in. This is where i found my amazing wedding dress and it is currently being made custom just for me. The rooms were private and very professional. The dresses here are amazing. I would 100% recommend this shop!

I purchased my Pronovias gown from Here Comes the Bride. Rebecca, the manager, assisted me several times as I had a difficult time finding the right dress for me. She would even welcome me in for last minute appointments. I give three stars for value because this is a high end bridal boutique and the dresses are rather expensive.

Here comes the bride was the first dress shop I went to when I started my dress search. Luckily I didn't have to go any further. I went there during a trunk sale for Jim Hjelm since they had a huge selection which added perks. The first dress I tried on was "the one" and instead of just getting me to buy it right then to make a quick sale the manager, Rebecca, had me try on over 20 other dresses to make sure the first one was really "the one". I really appreciated that she took the time to make sure I was "in love" with my dress before having me make my choice. Once I knew "the one" Rebecca opened a bottle of champagne so my bridal party and I could toast and celebrate.
Because I purchased my dress during a trunk sale I was able to add buttons all the way down the back of the dress for no additional charge. Also if you pay in full you don't have to pay tax!!!! Added bonus!!! Since it is considered a more upscale wedding shop the dresses are slightly more expensive. I know I could have purchased the same dress at a different store for slightly less money but the service at Here Comes the Bride is what kept my business there.
I liked them so much I even ordered my bridesmaids dresses there as well. Too bad they no longer offer bridesmaids dresses : (
Overall my experience was great and I would recommend them to all my friends.

They have a great selection and range of costs and style. Most of the staff is really friendly. The alteration ladies are wonderful too. It took a little longer than expected for my dress to come in but that was because of the designer. Word of advice, listen to their recommendation of what size to order. They run different than street sizes. Mine fit like a glove! I only had to get it shortened :)

They were excellent to work with. They were very attentive from the first moment and listened to what I desired as a wedding gown. They didn't push anything upon me or try to force a sale right away. They were very patient and even allowed me to bargain with them when I found out another store was selling the same dress I wanted for a lower price. They provided excellent service and also did a great job with my bridesmaids dresses.

I had a great experience getting my dress at Here Comes the Bride! The store was recommended by a couple of friends who had their own good experiences. I was concerned by some of the reviews but I had already visited several highly rated stores and been pretty unhappy with the selections. This was the 5th store I tried and I was so impressed to finally find several dresses I liked! The dress I chose was a clear winner, but I definitely really liked other dresses there as well! My dress arrived several months before my wedding date and they allowed me to come see it as many times as needed to bring in shoes I was trying out and to match my flower girl dresses. I was given 4 fittings and even had a changes made on the spot in the 4th fitting to ensure I was satisfied. The seamstress was very good and cared that I was happy with how the dress fit. I should also add I am the only person I know whose bustle did not break, because she did such a nice job reinforcing the buttons and loops.The only negative experience I had was my veil not arriving in time for my hair trial even though I made it clear well in advance when I would need it. However, I was not that put off by the situation because they let me borrow one that looked very similar to use in the trial. I would highly recommend Here Comes the Bride, I loved my dress and so did my husband, family and friends!
