  Delicious and easy to work with

  I had many guests comment that our wedding dinner was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding - and I completely agree. Massive appreciation to BJ and the entire Herban Feast team for accommodating our crazy menu (completely custom seafood boil and appetizers)… and crushing it. The service and staff were also delightful day-of, and ensured that all guests had a great time. Elegant, fun, and easy going team. Thank you!!

  Herban Feast saved my wedding!

  BJ went above and beyond for our wedding. He was extremely accommodating, helpful and worked with us as we had to navigate the constantly changing COVID regulations and restrictions around food service. I was blown away by the food presentation and quality. Our guests raved about the food and everyone was really happy. I highly recommend Herban Feast if you need a caterer for your next event!

  The best customer service

  Although we ended up having a covid wedding and did not use Herban Feast for catering, I just wanted to share how great my experience was leading up to our (cancelled) original wedding.
  
  First, the food is amazing! As a prospective client, we were invited to a tasting dinner that started with appetizers and cocktails, followed by a multi-course, family-style dinner with wine pairings, and ended with dessert! Everything was not only beautiful, but delicious! They seated us in small groups with an HF representative so that we could get all the info we needed, and the chef even came out to introduce himself and ask about our experience. The food, the service, and the interest and care they showed to us really sold us.
  
  They were flexible, respectful, and responsive throughout the contract process and we ended up with a contract I was very excited about. Then of course, covid hit. HF was empathetic and dedicated to taking care of their clients. They allowed me to delay payments while we waited to see if things would get better, and they even allowed everyone to move their deposits to future dates with no penalties.
  
  Everyone I spoke to throughout the months-long process (especially Ros and Mary) was wonderful and so helpful. Although we do not know whether we will be having a big wedding later, I would not hesitate to work with HF in the future for any and all events.

  Amazing venue, amazing food!

  We got married at The Foundry by Herban Feast and used them for catering as well. First off, The Foundry is an amazing venue!! The overall flow of the whole space is perfect and if you want everyone on the dance floor all night, this is the place to do it. The bar is right by the dance floor and we put the dessert/late night snack near there as well. Herban Feast also nails it with their food! Everything was delicious and unique. Food was super important to us and they delivered. I highly recommend both The Foundry and Herban Feast!

  Top Notch Food, Service and Staff!

  I cannot say enough great things about Herban Feast and our event lead (Rosalyn). I was blown away by the quality of the food, customizable and flexible dishes, professional (but fun) staff, organization and responsiveness of this vendor. I didn’t have a wedding planner and my event was complex given that we had to bring everything in. This was no problem for the Herban Feast team and they were so well equipped to handle just about anything! My day was pure perfection, and I’ll honestly miss corresponding with Rosalyn as often as we did. She kept me sane, organized, laughed with me numerous times throughout planning, and really got to know my husband and I prior to the event - we trusted that she had it all handled and that was the best feeling going into our big day! Highly recommend :)

  We cannot say enough good things about Katie (our event lead) and Herban Feast! Our food was incredible - everyone (even picky members of our crowd) complimented us on the food, and people are still talking about it. Herban Feast also handled ALL of our rentals--including set up/tear down of the tables, chairs, bar, and arch--and staffed our event, including servers and a licensed bartender. This was one of the best advantages of using Herban Feast (other than the delicious food) since we had to bring in everything (tables, chairs, flatware, glasses, linens, etc.); it even allowed us to save a bit on this aspect of the wedding since Herban Feast has a long-standing relationship with their rental company.
  
  As our event got closer, I became an increasingly stressed out and demanding bride. Despite my bridezillaness, Katie was very responsive and handled me with professionalism and grace. She also made great recommendations to us for setting up our seating chart (the easel for which Herban Design provided for free), arranging placement of our reception tables, and for having Herban Design decorate our arch (to our specifications) for a small fee instead of us having to purchase the fabric we wanted and trying to drape it ourselves on the day of. She was so flexible and lovely to work with.
  
  Katie also worked very closely with our venue and our wedding coordinator to provide us with the best possible wedding we could have had. Everything went smoothly, and we did not feel stressed out at all during our wedding. Many of our friends have told us it was the best wedding they have been to. Hiring the right vendors is the key to having a successful event. Herban Feast was a big part of why our wedding was so wonderful.

  Herban Feast catered our daughter’s wedding to rave reviews. After attending 2 tasting events, they followed our requested menu perfectly and our guests commented on the quality of the food.   We used Herban Feast for our February Wedding! They were WONDERFUL to work with! I had no worries. We did a custom menu including as much farm to table organic seasonal food as possible. We served mostly family style to encourage interaction amongst our guests, plus the ability to try numerous dishes. in addition, we had a couple people with food allergy issues, one of which required a very restricted menu. The team research the FODMAP list I provided and served my bridesmaid a fabulous meal. It was one of the very few times she had eaten out all year that she didn't get sick! All the food was magnificent from the appetizers to the desserts and the servers were wonderful! Thank you all SO much!!

  My wedding was last week on the steamship Virginia V, and I have to say that everything about Herban Feast's service was outstanding. The food was beautiful, unique, fresh and so flavorful; and through some unimaginable wizardry, didn't seem at all diminished by the last-minute two-hour delay in the sailing of the ship (and therefore serving timeline). While I am certain the lengthy delay was very stressful for the crew, they didn't show it at all. They were perfectly attentive, gracious, and yet unobtrusive. My glass was never empty with a variety of drinks, and the crew captain was always handy with updates and consultations.
  
  I received a TON of compliments from my guests about the food, and heard that many went back for seconds (we had the strawberry brie bites, crab cakes, and a buffet with the market salad, salmon, beef loin, gnocchi, and roasted vegetables). Finally - in addition to composed appetizers and dinner plates - we got two 'composed' boxes of leftovers to take home (which was perfect, because it was hard to relax and focus enough to properly enjoy the meal during the wedding)!
  
  I chose Herban Feast because they were so highly rated, and I wanted great food and service that I didn't have to worry about. Their service was not inexpensive, but absolutely worth every penny. Bravo!

  There is a reason that Herban Feast was one of the preferred caterers our venue owners requested we use. They are professional, prompt, have great staff, and most importantly, they make the yummiest food! My husband and I live in Houston, Texas, but got married up in Seattle, so planning posed a bit of a challenge. Email was one of the best ways we kept in touch regarding choosing all the details, and even though they're one of the busiest caterers in town, they were very quick to respond to any questions/concerns I had. After visiting Seattle 2 months prior to the wedding and doing a walkthrough with our rep, there were a couple details that needed to be changed. Our rep was able to easy accommodate our requests and was extremely flexible with handling all the details with our rental company. I honestly didn't even get to taste the food prior to the wedding because our trip to Seattle was very short and we couldn't fit in a tasting. However, I had complete confidence that everything would be delicious, and it was! On the day of the wedding, they set up everything exactly how we talked about and quickly fixed an issue with some salmon being under-cooked. The staff was even gracious enough to find the wedding party while taking photos post ceremony and give us some hor d'oeuvres. All in all, I had a great experience with them and didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the night. They know what they're doing and allowed me to be an integral part of the planning process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married or hosting a party that required catering.

  Herban Feast Catering was AMAZING! We are gluten, dairy and soy free and they were able to make delicious, beautiful heavy apps and bartending for our wedding reception. We especially loved our day of lead, Marie - she made sure that we were fed and kept things running ship shape throughout the night.

  Our wedding food was incredible!The menu consisted of the most delicious dish called chicken gorganzola, the most wonderful green salad, an exotic fruit platter, and bread rolls. The staff at the wedding was friendly, professional and they looked great! We were so pleased and cannot recommend Herban Feast Catering enough!

  Originally we were looking for an outdoor venue to hold our ceremony & reception - Herban Feast came highly recommended as a caterer to use, then our wedding planner (Michelle Engvall - Married & More with Michelle) showed us their newly acquired venue space in SoDo. I knew as soon as I walked in with Michelle that this was a place I had to show my fiance' even though we were set on having it be an outdoor wedding. I took him back that same evening and ended up booking them on the spot. Over the course of a year between booking them and our wedding we went to several tastings they hold seasonally and were hooked on their food. Meeting with Chef Dalis to set up the menu was very exciting, he is an amazing chef with a creative edge that is contagious! Much to our delight Herban Feast opened a restaurant just a few months before our wedding. On our second visit to their newly opened restaurant Fresh Bistro in West Seattle we decided to change the beef offering we had selected for the wedding to the decadently delicious Beef Wellington my fiance had just dined on - what a fabulous find! We booked Herban Feast for a beach bbq event to be held on the Thursday before our wedding and they outdid themselves - the crab boil was a hit! The ethics, quality and professionalism of this company is world class! I would book them again for what ever occasion I could get them for! ( :

  Herban Feast catered my wedding last August. Danae helped me figure out all of the details and she made it a very easy and stress-free process! We were able to test the different seasonal foods at the open houses they held at Sodo Park and everything was very good so I felt comfortable choosing things for the wedding reception that I had not tasted. We did passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet for the dinner, it was all DELICIOUS. There were tons of leftovers that they sent home with us. One of the servers even brought my husband and I a plate of appetizers right after the ceremony, before the pictures, because she knew we wouldn't get a chance to eat anything, a very thoughtful detail!   Herban Feast catered my wedding last August. Danae helped me figure out all of the details and she made it a very easy and stress-free process! We were able to test the different seasonal foods at the open houses they held at Sodo Park and everything was very good so I felt comfortable choosing things for the wedding reception that I had not tasted. We did passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet for the dinner, it was all DELICIOUS. There were tons of leftovers that they sent home with us.   Herban Feast did an excellent job on our wedding! They organized rentals for chairs, tables, linens and a tent. Many of our guests also commented on how wonderful the food was! It was pricey to have them do the catering, bar, and rentals. But, I think it was worth it in the end and saved us a huge amount of stress had we done everything ourselves. They were very professional, and on time!

  Great Work and Professional !

  We had Herban Feast catered our wedding for 50 people. The dinner was served in plated style at banquet table. They are very easy to work with and professional. The food is great, especially the appetizer. All our guests love them.

  Herban catered the first night of our wedding festivities and I was impressed with their creative food selection. Some of the favorites were latkes, chicken waffles with syrup and chicken endive skewers. You won’t regret choosing Herban Feast or Sodo Park

  Herban Feast was a delight to work with. From my first interactions to the wedding day, they just took care of everything. Their food was fantastic and I got many compliments on the food.

The dinner was served family style at both round and long tables and several of our guests commented on how good the food was. Herban Feast was easy to work with and were very accommodating; for example, we had tried their salmon at an open house and thought that it was a little too salty, so asked that they go easy on the salt at our wedding dinner, which they did. The service staff was also very professional and did a fantastic job. Herban Feast is a bit more pricey than other caterers, but they are definitely worth it!
