We absolutely LOVED working with Jay and Larissa. My now-husband and I were fairly clueless, the Heningtons really helped us through the process and made us feel comfortable. We just got our photos and highlight video back and are so happy side the results!!! The photos are absolutely gorgeous and the video is truly beautiful, all of it really captures the love and joy of the day. Thank you Heningtons!!!! -

After seeing some of Jay and Larissa's work online, they became our number one choice right away. We were amazed at the way they incorporate the scenery into their photography and the sweeping, dramatic quality they are so good at creating, and we felt so lucky when they became available for our wedding date. Their style fit our aesthetic perfectly and we really could find anybody else that had that unique look we were after, and we sure tried after they were initially booked on our date.
After working with them for our mini covid wedding and later our big wedding ceremony, we could not have been happier with their work. Not only were the photos every bit as amazing as we had imagined, but Larissa and Jay were a pleasure to work with and extremely professional throughout our entire wedding process. Keep in mind they are a bit more expensive than other photographers, but after looking at so many other options, we have no doubt that stretching our budget a little more than we planned was the right decision, they are SO worth it!
They graciously worked with us when it came to rebooking for our second ceremony due to covid and were a fun and steady presence during our entire wedding day(s). Looking back at the photos we are amazed at some of the shots they were able to capture. We still don't know how they got some of those angles, we had no idea they were right there during the ceremony/vows and yet they got some incredible close-up shots in addition to the sweeping landscapes that initially drew us to their work. These two are amazing and we cannot recommend them enough, secure them now before they are booked!

Jay and Larissa are absolutely wonderful to work with! Jay did our engagement shoot back in the summer of 2020 and it was so much fun. It was the perfect way to get "practice" shots in before the wedding. During our engagement shoot, Jay found so many wonderful spots for us to stop and take photos near the lake and in our neighborhood, which was the exact vibe we were going for. The pictures turned out so pretty. Both Jay and Larissa shot our wedding in November 2021 and spent the entire day with us. The pictures are so stunning and capture all the beautiful moments of the day - both small and big. They were also so helpful with ordering photos from the album. Not only did Jay and Larissa provide us beautiful photos to remember our wedding forever, but they are also just amazing people to hang out with! You want to spend your wedding day surrounded by great people, family, and vendors and Jay and Larissa hit the mark on being both very talented and lovely people. -

You are foolish to choose anyone but the Henningtons
I can not praise the Henningtons enough! They shot both our engagement photos and our wedding day and we ecstatic we found them. They always look for interesting angles and unique perspectives. They are also fabulous editors. They have a critical eye for color saturation and depth of field. Each photo tells a beautiful story. They are true artists and masters in their field. They are not only incredible photographers but they are also amazing human beings. We had a blast taking our pictures with them. My husband and I are not comfortable at all taking pictures but the Henningtons made it a fun and engaging experience. I am so thrilled that we chose them to photograph our special day. They will always be our first choice to capture our major moments in the future. -

We couldn't have chosen better photographers than the Heningtons. We had the Heningtons fly out to Colorado and shoot both our engagement photos and wedding day photos. It's difficult to properly express how beautiful these photos are. The photos the Heningtons took are so artistic, and such a masterful representation of the landscape, our relationship and our community that we know we will treasure them forever. We printed out copies for our guests, as well as have about fifteen prints decorating our walls. We also just love Jay and Larissa - they are funny, down to earth, and easy going. We are so lucky that we found them, and thoroughly recommend this duo! -

Let me just start by saying Jay and Larissa are INCREDIBLE! I had the chance to work with them professionally and personally and I am obsessed! Their eye for style and capturing moments in a unique way is seriously incredible. We recently had a photoshoot in our home and they made us (and our dogs!) feel at ease the entire time. They made sure to capture our style while throwing in their own flair. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for true professionals who will listen to your needs and go above and beyond to make sure your wedding (or any other event) is captured flawlessly. -

Larissa was the glue that held so many things together that day - she was super insightful and even had a bandaid handy when I stuck myself with a fishing hook ... true story! Jay had so many ideas and took one of the most unique shots I’ve ever seen that showed the beauty of the night sky! Any concern we had was answered by Jay in a timely manner and we are so pleased with how our photos turned out! Jay also shot our engagement session! We’re so thankful for you two!

User2421483 Sent on 11/11/2015Jay and Larrisa were completely considerate, professional, and warm. They have clearly developed skills and were able to communicate well their goals. They also always asked us what we thought before proceeding with an idea. I usually feel very awkward taking photos. Jay and Larrisa brought a feeling of comfort to the process, and effortlessly drew out our personalities. We felt like they were trusted friends by the end of it! I would highly recommend their services. Also, they make a great team, which can sometimes be hard to find. Both are talented but play different and complementary roles in the process - so you get a wide range of photos. They took great care to get us our images in a timely fashion as well. I wish I could carry Larrisa in my pocket every time I have to take photos - she is super encouraging and made me feel like a model. I have no complaints or disappoints to report from our experience with Jay and Larrisa.
