They did great at responding and helping us with our wedding. Though a few songs were played that we didn't want and timing was slightly off, but that's not a huge deal and it happens. Overall, definitely recommend!

We are so thrilled we went with Hemmelgarn Entertainment to DJ our wedding. Jon was great during the planning he was very easy to communicate with and was super helpful making sure we had thought of everything to make our reception run smoothly. Their website was very easy to use to make sure they had our song requests (and knew which ones we would prefer not to hear). Our DJ was absolutely amazing. From the start of the reception they kept things flowing and when the dancing started made sure the songs kept people on the dance floor all night. We were super happy with Hemmelgarn!

I had a few secret ideas and Jon was great with keeping things confidential, we also had a subtle Star wars theme to our day and Jon was amazing with being on board with everything and getting everything in order. We had a different DJ for our wedding, not sure what his name was but it wasn't Jon, and he was booked until 10:00 but he was super flexible with getting done at 9:00 since most of the guests had left anyway. I would highly recommend!

Great Experience!
My wife and I strongly believe music & the DJ are a crucial piece of a fun wedding and John’s team delivered! They are extremely professional, prepared, responsive, and wonderful to work with. Anytime we had to make an on the fly adjustment they handled it very smooth. And lastly, both us and our guests loved the music. The dance floor was on fire all night. Highly recommend!

Hemmelgarn Entertainment was the best company I have ever worked with. As far as their patience, flexibility, professionalism, thoroughness, and so so much more. I had a lot of moving pieces to my wedding, therefore a lot of modifications right up until the day before. HE was so patient with me and willing to work with my schedule to make sure everything was PERFECT. The day of, we had some changes due to our kiddos, and it was no problem. They took so much weight off my shoulders by giving advice and just making my vision become reality with minimal help from me. I would recommend them 100 times over.

High School Prom
Jon did a wonderful job DJ'ing our high school prom. The students never left the dance floor. Our bus was late getting to the venue and Jon and his wife were there ready to accommodate us with a smile and some calmness. Our DJ killed it!
Jon Hemmelgarn was an absolute pleasure to work with! He met with my now husband and I when we were first engaged to get to know us and learn our needs and style. He made the planning process simple and was always available for questions and tips. The meeting before the wedding really put me at ease and he made sure both of us were comfortable with the plan and our music tastes were incorporated into the ceremony. He came to our rehearsal to make sure we had everything ready and was at the venue early the day of our wedding. He made our day flow soooo smoothly and we were able to enjoy our time with all of our family and friends knowing he had everything taken care of. We danced the day away! Our schedule changed last minute and he pivoted and made the change seamless. We cannot have asked for a better DJ!

Beyond Expectations
Jon was a complete blessing to work with - from the minute Sebastian and I sat down with him at our first meeting to our wedding day. He made sure we were able to get of our song choices for our wedding and understood how important they were to us. He knew how to keep the dance floor moving as well as coordinating with our other vendors to make sure everyone stayed on track with what needed done for the night. He checked in regularly and made sure to bring light to situations we couldn't control. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and we look forward to watching his business continue to grow with all of his hard work and dedication he puts into every wedding.

Top shelf for entertainment & wedding logistics
I experienced this business, and Jon's expertise, from a different angle. I was the officiant of a recent wedding (9/2/23). As a pastor I've done scores of weddings and have seen a variety of entertainment specialists. Jon, and Clint who assisted him, were fantastic at the rehearsal as well as the wedding. Jon not only provided his technical expertise but also recommendations for the flow of the bridal party's entrance, etc.. This was especially helpful for this outdoor wedding. You can't go wrong hiring Hemmelgarn Entertainment.

Amazing wedding dj!
When I was searching for a wedding DJ, Hemmelgarns came so highly recommended and they definitely lived up to their reputation! Jon was super quick with all my questions and request and made the whole process so easy! We had Jeff as the DJ on our wedding day and he was a hit! Hemmelgarn Entertainment was absolutely amazing for our wedding! They were easy to get ahold of to book for our day and they responded to emails quickly. We had a meeting about a month before our wedding to go over specifics of what both my husband and I wanted, which made us both feel confident that the day of was going to go as we hoped. On our wedding day, Hemmelgarn Entertainment catered to us 100%! They did not take requests that we asked to not be played and if we ever felt like there was a song veering away from the playlist we had envisioned, they listened to us right away. The dance floor was packed all night and it definitely was because of the great music being played! We both would highly recommend Hemmelgarn Entertainment to anyone and would contact them again if we ever needed a DJ!

Hemmelgarn entertainment was responsive and organized. Jon knows the industry well which ensures everything on the day goes smoothly. Our DJ, Jeff, kept everything on time. Jon was the absolute best and so helpful throughout the whole process. He was easy to reach, flexible, and helped with the timeline which helped SO much. Everyone was commenting that my dance floor was going all night and it truly was because he was picking the perfect songs to keep everyone out all night. Also, my family and I choreographed a surprise dance for everyone (a very last-minute idea) and I asked Jon to throw together a mashup of songs. Not only was he willing to do it, but also he did it SO fast that my family and I were able to pull it off. The best DJ ever, 10/10 recommend!

Jon made this entire process really easy! From our first talk over zoom when I had no idea about how DJs worked or what I was doing until the final moments of my wedding day he was on point and well organized! He always responded to any questions that I had through email immediately. On my wedding day, Jon and Preston were super friendly and personable with my guests. I had so many comments of how much they enjoyed having Jon and Preston there. Both of them also came up to me throughout the night to check on me to make sure I was having fun and to make sure we were staying on schedule. The PERFECT entertainment option!
HE Entertainment is definitely a MUST HAVE for your special day. Must will agree that a DJ is the most important part of a wedding and not only did HE Entertainment (Branson was our DJ) exceed all of our music expectations, but they also acted as a day of coordinator. Jon was amazing to work with. He knows his stuff, he so nice and SO helpful. You can tell he really wants the evening to go so well for the guests and the couple getting married. I was so happy we booked him for our wedding. Best decision we made during planning!! :D

We loved HE! They were so amazing to work with and made everything happen that we wanted. Everyone loved the music and it was a great time!
Our experience was great with Hemmelgarn Entertainment! We were so “wowed” by everything from the beginning! They are so organized and helpful! They really go above and beyond DJ duties to ensure everything goes so smoothly on the wedding day! We wouldn’t have chosen a better DJ than HE! Highly recommend, you won’t regret it! I’m thankful for having such a great experience and everyone loved the music!

Jon Hemmelgarn was the first vendor we called after our daughter got engaged. He spent time developing a relationship with our daughter and fiancé so he could provide the experience of their dreams. He outlined the entire process, used technology to make the long distance (across the country) planning as easy as possible. Jon led the ceremony by collaborating with the other vendors, clergy, and wedding coordinator to ensure no special moment was missed or left undone. Jon communicated from beginning to end and literally covered every detail. His DJ, lighting, and photo booth services were all top quality. Our family is proud to give Jon and Erika Hemmelgarn and company our highest recommendation.

25th Wedding Anniversary

Hemmelgarn entertainment was the best choice for our wedding! Jon met with us a few times before the wedding to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and would check in to see if there was anything he could help with. The day of the wedding went so smooth they were flexible, and worked with us to make everything perfect! The photo booth was a hit!! Jon was AMAZING! Trying to get married during a pandemic was a pain, and even though we rescheduled three times Jon was there every step of the way helping us get through it. When the time came, he delivered. So many of our guests said it's the best DJ they've seen in ages. Not only did he keep the pace perfect but allowed us to have a ton of fun while doing it. I would also recommend the photobooth to everyone, our guests loved it so much! Thanks a TON to Jon for everything you've done to make our night absolutely perfect!

Most amazing DJ Ever!!
Hire them! Jon was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us. He was more than a DJ. He helped us with planning and setting up our timeline and keeping me calm and sane during planning. The night was so amazing and so much creidt goes to Hemmelgarn Entertainment for that!
Honestly I don't think you could hire anyone better! Would hire him a 100 times over.

Jon and the team at Hemmelgarn Entertainment were so awesome to work with! They truly made our day super easy and so much fun. Jon was willing to change things on the fly, he accommodated to music our guests wanted to hear and was just all around a super nice and fun DJ! From the ceremony, to the photo booth, to the reception; Jon was a miracle worker. He's the best! The communication was spot on, the forms he had us fill out were easy to read and understand and the online portal came in super clutch! I would recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a fun and interactive DJ at their wedding!
