  Incredible experience with Hemibry

  We had an absolutely incredible experience working with Hemibry for catering for our wedding in October 2023. From the beginning, Hernan and everyone else we worked with made the experience easy, and both the food and service they provided was exceptional.
  
  Hemibry played a major role in creating a great wedding day. Many wedding attendees expressed it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and we appreciated their menu customizability and additional offerings, including a late night snack our guests appreciated. The bartending staff was also professional and efficient.
  
  I especially appreciated the way Hemibry looked out for us, including making sure we ate and setting aside drinks and appetizers specifically for the wedding party. Their strong service ensured we could focus on the wedding day itself instead of little details.
  
  I'd strongly recommend Hemibry for anyone planning a wedding in northern Virginia.

  We hired Hemibry to cater our 9/1/22 wedding. I can't say enough great things about Hemibry. Hernan and his team really took care of us and our guests. The service was phenomenal. They are truly professional and go out of their way to ensure superb service . Our guests complimented us many times on how delicious everything was. The staff was so kind and professional. I highly recommend them for any catering event. They are the whole package.

  Highly Recommend!

  Hernan and his team were awesome to work with! From our very first phone call with Hernan to the day of the wedding he was always very professional, responsive, accommodating and friendly. We hired Hemibry as our service staff for our wedding at The Osprey’s and I don’t think we could have made a better choice! Everything was perfect from the friendly staff, to the linens, to the delicious hors d'oeuvres, and the tasty cocktails they made for our guest all night. We highly recommend Hemibry catering for any event you’re thinking about having. You will not be disappointed, they were awesome!

  Amazing, professional, wonderful!

  Hernan was wonderful from the beginning. From being prompt in replying to my emails to being so accommodating to my schedule. The tasting was very professional, fun, and not to mention so very delicious! I am so excited to have him and his team at our wedding!

  Amazing service, delicious food, great experience

  I will be honest and confess that I knew Hernan since before. He is been catering many of the events for my office. But still I was stress because is not the same your wedding than an office event.
  He just exceeded our expectations, the venue looked amazing, food was so good and enough for everyone to have more. Our invitees repeatedly praise the food.
  He is amazing person to deal with, I will give him 10 starts if I could !!!

  Food Was Absolutely Delicious

  The food was absolutely delicious and they were very accommodating with catering to the the Latin / Caribbean theme we were going for with our food. At our wedding there wasn’t one single person who didn’t have something positive to say about the food. During the wedding they even checked in with us to make sure that we were doing OK and to see if there was ANYTHING at all we needed. Great food and great customer service!

  Exceptional Service for a Perfect Night

  Hemibry was recommended to my then-fiancé (now husband) and me by our wedding venue, and we loved working with Hernan and his Hemibry staff for our wedding. We worked with Hemibry for the service aspect of our wedding - dining room set up, servers, bartenders, set up and break down for the event - basically anything that kept our guests comfortable, well-fed, and happy with a drink in their hands. When my then-fiancé (now husband) and I met with Hernan, he helped us to pick the perfect linens and dishware for our wedding. Hernan was very warm, sociable, and very responsive. When we discussed the different aspects or our wedding, the momentos we wanted included, how we wanted to display our specialty food items, our signature cocktails, and other many other things, Hernan assured us nothing was beyond his abilities. And he demonstrated just that! On the day of the wedding, the servers and bartenders looked sharp and were on their A game. The signature cocktails came out perfectly! No one waited long for drinks. The servers worked the rooms like pros. Dinner service happened smoothly. When I knocked over a vase with my fluffy dress, the water was mopped up within the blink of an eye. They made sure my husband and I, and the rest of the bridal party, ate and drank. Hernan was there the entire night making sure everything was perfect. My guests loved him and his staff. At the end of the night, everything was cleaned up, and our wedding décor was neatly packed up and ready for us to shove into our cars. Hernan and his staff took such great care of us. We highly recommend Hemibry for anyone who needs a service company for weddings or any other big event. If we host another event, we would love to call Hernan and his team to work it!

  We’re extremely happy with the catering services provided by Hernan of Hemibry Catering on our wedding day! Months before our wedding, we had a tasting and discussed the food presentation, dinner table designs, and services with Hernan in several conversations. Because I myself was planning our wedding, I had many detailed questions and creative ideas in mind. Hernan exceeded our expectations with his professionalism, business savvy, and creative skills. Leading up to our wedding day, he offered very helpful suggestions to make our day special for an outside ceremony, cocktail hour, and ballroom reception. On our wedding day, we can say without a doubt that we were especially pleased with the lovely food presentation during cocktail hour and dinner. And also pleased with the very elegant tables during dinner. Because of the rain, Hernan had to make last minute changes to quickly transition the ballroom from a ceremony layout to a dinner layout and didn’t skip a beat. What a lifesaver! We received so many compliments! I guess what? It was his birthday! We saw him smiling and taking pics during the dance party. Hernan has a great personality, kind heart, and is very accommodating. We greatly appreciate that! We wish we could give Hernan more than 5 stars!

Although we were worried (because our guests were primarily Korean), the food was wonderful and he made sure to remember our request for less sodium. He even went out to the local ABC store to buy another handle of Bacardi for us when our open bar ran out! The quality of food and service was great. Thank you, Hernan!

I was beyond impressed with Hernan (the owner) from the second that he answered my first phone call to when he asked to take a selfie with my husband and I at the end of the night. He's the perfect mix of professional and friendly. He not only provided delicious food, bartending, and linens, he also wore our wedding colors! Hernan went above and beyond for us and I would highly recommend using him for any event!

  Hemibry Catering was one of the first vendors we chose for our wedding and we had absolutely no regrets! Hernan and his team are wonderful- they set up and took down, they helped serve, they bartended, they provided all of our linens and table ware, and they made the most delicious food ever for our event. Seriously- the food was mouth watering. Our package, which came at a great value, included appetizers during the cocktail hour, three entrees for dinner, and many different sides and salads. We received so many compliments on how good the food was. As the bride and groom, so many people told us we would not have time to eat much of our meals because we would be so busy talking and going around to people. Well my husband and I sat and ate every bit of our dinner; we were not going to miss out!
  It was a pleasure working with Hernan. He goes above and beyond for his clients. He held a private tasting for us at his restaurant on his day off, he came to our venue meeting and gave us great advice on a number of different aspects of our wedding, and he was very professional, flexible, and easy to communicate with. He clearly has much experience in this business and he and his team do a phenomenal job.

  Hernan and Miriam embody all of the characteristics needed to make for a spectacular event. They are professional, personable, responsive, flexible and offer great suggestions.
  
  We had an entire wedding weekend and they catered every event; the wedding reception during the day, the after party at a friend's house that night and a breakfast at our home for our out of town guests the next morning. Their pricing and their food was much better than all of the other caterers we interviewed. They came into each event with all of the supplies they needed, they prepared/served the food at each event AND they interacted with our guests in a fun and playful way! They put everything back the way they found it and even mopped the floors before they left our house! AND, as if all of that wasn't enough, they gave us a beautiful wedding gift too! They are more than just caterers, They are our friends now too!

  Hernan and Miriam embody all of the characteristics needed to make for a spectacular event. They are professional, personable, responsive, flexible and offer great suggestions.
  
  We had an entire wedding weekend and they catered every event; the wedding reception during the day, the after party at a friend's house that night and a breakfast at our home for our out of town guests the next morning.   I am so happy we chose Hemibry as our caterer. We knew from the tasting that we were going to go with this company but still went to other tastings to compare. From the initial meeting and throughout the whole planning process it was really easy to deal with Hernan. He was extremely professional and responsive. We had a big selection of foods, dessert, apps, and a coffee station as well. I was really happy to see the setup on my wedding day. Everything was setup beautifully and elegant. Everyone loved the food. I am still getting calls/txts about how delicious the food was and inquiring on what company we chose. Also during my wedding Hernan was around checking to see if there was anything we needed. The cake stand I bought was too wobbly but they had a backup that we used (phew!). We definitely recommend Hemibry to anyone looking for a good selection of tasty foods that come with excellent service.

  We chose Hemibry as a preferred caterer of our venue, and we are so glad we did. Hernan was incredibly accommodating; my husband and I had a brunch wedding, and not only did Hernan put together a delicious and appropriate menu for us, but was so easy about making changes to it (even at the last minute). There were times my husband and I weren't sure if we needed to touch base with Hernan to confirm details, but in reality, he was taking care of everything behind the scenes and there wasn't anything we needed to do. He and the bartending staff really took care of us during the wedding as well, always making sure that we had something to drink; Hernan even brought cafe con leche specifically to our table, because we had raved about it and he wanted to make sure we got some while we still could. We're so grateful to Hemibry for helping make our wedding day a breeze!
