in law, who all needed hair and makeup done for my wedding in August. Not only did every. single. woman. LOVE their hair and makeup, we were able to get ready in one of the cutest and most functional spaces of all time. The pictures from the studio are some of my favorite. We were able to bring our own food and alcohol, spread out, hang out, exchange gifts, and truly just spend amazing time together before moving to the ceremony.
I will say I was initially kind of nervous booking a larger service or team of people to handle the large task of everyone's hair and makeup... but everyone was SO happy with how it turned out and I don't know why I was EVER nervous! I have some very picky friends and everyone felt so beautiful and happy with how hair and makeup and lashes turned out. The owners are SO easy to work with and helped us with any add-ons we had throughout the process of planning. They also checked in with me since the pandemic started in the middle of our planning process. They are just really awesome people and deliver top notch service. I'm so thankful to them for such an amazing start-of-wedding-day experience. Book them! You will NOT have a single regret! -

I had a fantastic experience with Hello Lovely for my wedding on August 29. They were more affordable than other beauty vendors I researched online without sacrificing quality or customer service. Ashley talked with me on the phone about services and pricing -- I SO appreciated that bridal hair and makeup was priced the same as bridesmaids, and not twice as expensive, like it was at other salons. I ended up purchasing 10 services: Hair for myself, 2 moms and 4 bridesmaids, and makeup for myself and 2 moms. Hello Lovely sent two stylists who traveled to my venue free of charge.
I opted to go for a hair/makeup trial and was assigned Erin as my main artist -- she was warm, friendly, and took diligent notes on what I did/didn’t like about my style, which she referenced on wedding day. She was also incredibly helpful -- the eyelash glue she used at my trial irritated one of my eyes, so I let her know and she swapped it out for latex-free glue on wedding day and I had zero issues. I’d definitely recommend the trial -- it’s worth the extra cost!
On wedding day, Erin and our second stylist, Tamara, showed up a few minutes late due to rainy weather but got right to work, and I had complete faith they’d be done on schedule without sacrificing quality. Since my wedding was during the COVID pandemic, they also wore masks the entire time they provided services. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service -- my bridesmaids and moms looked stunning, and I felt like a queen!
One small area of improvement is that it would have been nice to proactively hear from Hello Lovely as the pandemic progressed regarding their cancellation/rescheduling policies, any updated safety precautions/procedures they were taking, etc. -- but since we didn’t postpone our wedding, this was a nonissue for us.
Overall, the whole Hello Lovely team was super easy and fun to work with. I would definitely recommend! -

Lovely Ladies at Hello Lovely
Hiring Hello Lovely from KC to travel all of the way to Manhattan, KS was amazing! I worked with Ashley, the owner, a couple trials before my wedding to get the look I wanted, both hair and makeup. She made my hairstyle customized to my wedding dress. Her team members were great and made getting ready the morning of the wedding so much fun! I would highly recommend reaching out to these lovely ladies if you have a large or small wedding party. They'll make you look fabulous! -

Elizabeth was professional, kind, helpful, and fun! She responded in a timely manner, was punctual, and worked hard to create the wedding day hairstyles we desired (for myself & the maid of honor). She was a sweetheart when we tweaked the hairstyles on the day. She assured us that what matters is that we are happy with the look and feel beautiful on the day. I highly recommend this company & their team. -

Every girl wants to feel beautiful and amazing on her big day! Ashley, and her team, did just that and so much more!
Soon after I got engaged, I knew I needed the best for hair and makeup. Due to health reasons, I was losing my already very fine/thin hair. I sent a few emails and read countless reviews in search of someone that could work some magic for me. I was literally in tears, and completely stressed on how I would be able to look decent, let alone good. I'm talking practically no hair people, even too thin for extensions. I met with Ashley, and another stylist at the salon, and they developed a customized plan for me. Ashley alleviated my fears; I immediately booked her that day.
Fast forward to my wedding day... Ashley knocked everything out of the park! Everything looked wonderful and perfectly matched! Don't even get me started on my makeup (insert heart-eye emoji). I felt total Hollywood status!
Erin with Hello Lovely was also great, she did my hair and makeup for engagement photos.
If you're looking to be well taken care of by the best of the best, then definitely book Ashley, with Hello Lovely! -

They take that info and transform you into a beauty for your big day! I wouldn't change a thing, my bridal party was beyond blown away with the level of service and glam they received! It was amazing how quickly she did it, and it lasted through the crazy heat and humidity, which I was worried about. I felt absolutely beautiful, but still like myself. Best of all, she took time after she was finished to pray for me and the day; it was truly heart-warming! I would highly recommend Hello Lovely to other future brides. -

Brenda Sent on 12/07/2016What I liked was that the stylists listened to our bride to get her overall vision of the wedding and were then able to incorporate each ladies individual ideas to create a customized look for each lady that fit within the overarching vision for the wedding. The studio where the trials took place was fantastic. Trial day was easy and fun - the stylists are friendly and engaging. The stylists took good notes including pictures to facilitate smooth execution on the big day! The day of the wedding Ashley's crew showed up on time and professionally navigated change-ups on several of the ladies hair styles and makeup. I appreciate everything that Ashley and her crew did to make my daughter and son-in-law's day exactly what they wanted. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any bride.

I was scared because I never liked when I get makeup or hair done on beauty salon, but Hello Lovely listened to my needs, made me felt comfortable all the time, and never hesitated when I asked for specific hairstyle, which was different because I wanted to had a Panamanian tradicional and modern look.
