Heidi was an absolute pleasure to work with from the first meeting. We were lucky enough to have her document our wedding weekend, and could not be happier with the overall experience and photos!! We had a ceremony one day and celebration the next, and Heidi worked with us to create a schedule between the two that allowed us to capture all the most important moments. She had amazing suggestions for locations to shoot at in the area, and gave such wonderful direction during photos. Truly couldn’t have gotten through the weekend without her.

Heidi was amazing throughout the whole process. She was professional and helped make the preparation process as easy as possible. On the day of the wedding she made us feel comfortable and photogenic, providing ideas but also making sure to capture all the pictures we had requested. During the ceremony she took amazing pictures while being respectful of our church’s policies and not obstructing our guests’ view. Our families and guests commented on how wonderful she was and loved the pictures! Highly recommend her!

Heidi did an absolutely wonderful job!! I could not be happier with how our photos from both our engagement and wedding turned out. Heidi brings such professionalism and a wealth of knowledge that made our big day go so smoothly. Our engagement shoot was so fun and allowed us to get comfortable in front of the camera and get a chance to know Heidi. Perfectly Captured Our October Love Park Wedding
Heidi completely put us at ease and gave us excellent direction for our wedding photographs. She's professional, flexible, friendly, and creative. We were married in Love Park and took photos around City Hall beforehand. She knows all the good spots around City Hall. She really knows how to capture classic, elegant, and endearing moments. After the ceremony, she directed everyone for the group shots, which was a huge relief as she had it completely under control.

Hiring Heidi was the best decision we made for our wedding!
I cannot recommend Heidi enough as your wedding photographer. Not only she is a seasoned professional, but she is also one of the kindest, patient people I’ve ever met. As our wedding plans kept evolving with the addition of more guests or changes in logistics, Heidi rolled with all the punches! She was very thorough with her follow-ups prior to the ceremony, and extremely attentive throughout the event. I must highlight the fact that our ceremony was 95% in Spanish, which did not make it easier for her. Regardless, she did not miss a single cue, and managed to capture every special moment perfectly. My husband and I aren’t always comfortable on camera, yet Heidi managed to get us to loosen up and took great candids that perfectly represent us as a couple. The pictures not only came out beautifully, but Heidi also handed them, fully edited, within less than a week post-ceremony! As a newlywed couple, you always want to see your pictures as quickly as possible, and I certainly loved not having to wait too long for our pictures!
If you are looking for an experienced, down-to-earth, flexible photographer, Heidi’s truly the one to go to! We planned the wedding ourselves and working with Heidi took away any stress we would have experienced around our pictures. You will not regret hiring her for your special day!

My husband and I were so pleased with Heidi’s work! Our wedding photos are lovely and capture the beautiful emotions we felt that day. Heidi was a joy to work with throughout the process and a consummate professional.
In the time leading up to our wedding, she was friendly and responsive to our questions. She worked with us to provide the photographic coverage we were looking for at a price within our budget.
On the day of our wedding, Heidi was amazing. Our guests commented on how wonderful she was to work with. She even help put on the boutonnières and corsages when family members were struggling! She was unobtrusive during our ceremony but managed to capture beautiful photos. For posed family photos after our ceremony, she worked quickly and efficiently through the shot list we gave her. She made my husband and I feel at ease during our couples photos, and she brought out the best in both of us. She has a great sense of humor and calm way about her, and it was a true pleasure to have her photograph us.
Heidi provided a link to our entire wedding gallery less than a week after our wedding. The images are such a wonderful reminder of that day, and we will cherish them for years to come.

So easy to work with!
As someone who isn't really comfortable in front of a camera, I was shocked at how easy and fun it was to work with Heidi. She shot both our engagement session and our wedding, and both resulted in photos that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. The engagement photos came back about a week after the session, and our wedding photos took about 3.5 weeks. I was a bit nervous that being professionally photographed would take me back to sitting for high school yearbook photos, but instead it felt so natural to be there. Heidi made it easy to just be in the moment on our wedding day, and I really got to enjoy time with my husband before our ceremony - she truly made the whole thing a stress-free experience. From the moment I saw Heidi, I didn't have to make any more decisions. We felt totally at ease being led around by Heidi, partly because she got to our venue early to take shots and scout locations, and partly because she's really that capable. I'm so so happy we hired her for our day.

Reliable and professional partner and fantastic photographer
We had the pleasure of working with Heidi Roland of Heidi Roland Photography for our 50-person indoor wedding in November. Heidi is a phenomenal communicator, an honest and transparent service provider, and an excellent photographer. Heidi was extremely flexible with our contract and took all of the time to review it with us that we requested. She was an excellent source of useful information for a couple like us that had no clue what we were doing at the beginning phase of our wedding planning. She had various services to offer us but was never ever pushy. During the wedding she coordinated with our day-of-coordinator to stick to the photography and event schedule and to keep all photo subjects in order and ready for shoots. She went above and beyond to defend a clause in our contract when it appeared to her that another vendor may be overstepping. She is fantastic to work with and I could not recommend a better photographer and partner on the operations side of wedding planning.

She’s amazing!!
Heidi did an incredible job as our photographer at our Poconos fall wedding. Her calm presence was exactly what I needed on the wedding day and all the picture taking felt so natural. On top of being an awesome person to be around, we were overjoyed with the quality of the pictures we received and how quickly she was able to turn them around. I had several friends who were surprised at how quickly we got our pictures back! From our initial conversation she was extremely communicative, responsive, and professional. She prepared a seamless timeline and curated the perfect day for us. She kept us on track throughout our entire wedding day and was focused on getting the perfect photos while keeping things fun and loose. Stunning Pictures
Heidi was amazing right from the start! She responded so quickly and went over all the details thoroughly. She outlined a timeline and kept the day going. She was so sweet and a blast to work with. If you don't hire Heidi to shoot your wedding then what are you even doing with your life? She could not have been a more fabulous photographer. From our first phone call she was so kind and enthusiastic. She listened to everything we wanted, went over our formals shot lists and other wants, and executed everything to perfection. Her assistant/the second photographer (Heather, I'm almost certain) was great too. She worked with the men at first and my husband had great things to say about her. The day of she was so efficient and was able to take way more shots than we thought we had time for. She encouraged us to grab her during the whole night if there's something specific we wanted on the fly. She COULD NOT have been more accommodating. My sister/matron of honor uses a wheelchair, and so I told her ahead of time that might limit a few things, and she was so patient with getting her set up and helping get the best shots. My sister was so impressed and sorely regrets not knowing about her for HER wedding last year. I want to throw other fancy events now just to hire her to photograph them! Oh also, our wedding was a Friday and that Sunday morning she had 23 web-sized pictures ready for us to share. She just delivered the rest of the pictures and it’s only been three weeks since our wedding. She’s s dynamo.

You can’t get much better than Heidi!
Heidi shot our proposal on Addison St in Philadelphia, capturing both the moment I was on a knee and taking couple and family photos afterward. From the time we first spoke, she was prompt, professional, and it was abundantly clear that she was an extremely skilled photographer. Despite all that, my fiancée, our families, and I were absolutely blown away by the work Heidi did shooting our engagement. She knew just where to be to work around foot traffic on the street, was patient in capturing the organic moments of surprise, joy and love without direction, and when it came time to take formal photos, she was razor-sharp in telling us where to stand, how to angle ourselves, and more. Best Photography Experience Ever! (X2!!)
We booked Heidi twice. First, she photographed our small ceremony, during which we got married after postponing our wedding due to covid. Second, she photographed our wedding one year later. Both times, Heidi was nothing short of exceptional.
She is very personalable, very professional and very fun to work with! She has an air of relaxed confidence that calmed me on both days. I did not have to worry, because she knew what she was doing, does it very well, and proved adaptable to change. She had not yet done a wedding at my venue, yet, she navigated the space with ease as though she had been there many times before. Heidi is also very efficient. She didn’t miss one photo opportunity, sticked to our preplanned timeline as much as possible and got absolutely beautiful photos.
Her fees were also very reasonable each time, and if you have a budget she has ways to tailor her services to meet that without compromising her quality work.
I really can’t recommend her enough. If you have an upcoming event, just book her. You will not be disappointed!!

We're SO happy with our photos from Heidi -- they are beautiful and she did a wonderful job at every step of the way. Heidi was very communicative leading up to our day and we got the photos back super quickly, we were still on our honeymoon when they came in! We could not recommend Heidi more!

Best photographer I could have asked for
Heidi was amazing! I am someone who isn't well versed in anything wedding, and she was so patient walking me through everything for the months leading up to the day. We had to reschedule from last year due to Covid and she was super responsive and so accommodating. She was right on time on the day and ready to go. She knew exactly where to go to get the best formal shots, and was so flexible getting all the formal shots in the short time we had available before the ceremony. They were amazing at blending into the background at the reception, but the pictures make it look like they were front and center. Then, we got the pictures back before I even got the thank you cards out! I am so glad Heidi and her team were available for our day and I can't recommend her enough!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Heidi for our wedding!! She is so organized, fun, professional, and responsive - our day wouldn't have been the same without her. Planning our wedding during 2020/2021 was definitely an adventure but having Heidi on our team made it so much easier. From our engagement photos to the day of, she made sure everything ran smoothly (and on time...even the bridal party and family photos!) and that everyone was comfortable. She gave enough direction to make posing easy, but also natural and not forced. Our photos came out even more beautiful than we expected! 100/10 would recommend!!

From beginning to end, working with Heidi was truly exceptional! I reached out in November 2020 for our January 2021 wedding date! Heidi responded so fast and we scheduled a chat the next night. She was very thorough in asking questions related to our wedding. She even recommended the location for our couples photo (which was so gorgeous and only 5 mins away from our ceremony). Heidi called me a week before to confirm details four a big day! Because of COVID, my church asked Heidi to come before the scheduled time to walk through where she would be taking photos. Heidi made no fuss about it and even showed up earlier than what was requested. She started taking photos of us as soon as her walkthrough was complete with the church before the ceremony! After the ceremony she continued taking pictures inside the church, then we went outside with our families where she took even more pictures! This was big deal because we were originally on going to take pictures inside the church and then at our couples location mainly due to it being winter! We took so many gorgeous pictures with our family outside the church! Heidi was recommending poses and backgrounds and all pictures came out beautifully! Side note-my parents wear the glasses that turn into sunglasses while in the sun...Heidi let them know and asked them if they wanted to take their glasses off so it didn't look like they were wearing sunglasses in the photos! My sister mentioned that her photographer didn't do that when she got married and all of her pictures show my parents with their dark glasses!! Thank you Heidi! Our family and our church loved Heidi!!! She was so detailed and made sure everything was perfect.! Our pictures came back in the time she said they would and they are amazing! She even sent us a preview the day after our wedding! Please please please use Heidi for your photography!! You will not regret it. My husband and I definitely recommend Heidi and we will hope to use her in the future!!

An Excellent Choice in a Photographer
Heidi is professional, organized and a pleasure to work with. She took care of the details – the photography schedule for the day, the list of group photos - well before the wedding. She took the time to find out what photos we especially wanted and she delivered ones that we will truly cherish. Our all-outdoor wedding took place under challenging weather conditions which Heidi handled with grace and flexibility. She kept hers eyes open for breaks in the rain to take outside-the-tent photos of us against the backdrop of rain-soaked stone walls and surrounding woods. The photos and album were ready in surprisingly short order and they were stunning and elegant. We were very lucky to have someone so caring photograph our wedding.

Heidi Roland is wonderful, professional & a beautiful person inside and out. Picture quality is top-notch! She is detail, patient, flexible and on-time. As a bride I got so busy with so many things, especially last minute uh-ohhhs, that I forgot to eat. I started to feel light headed and Heidi went out of her way to get some food for me from the staff at my wedding venue. She didn't just call someone, she went and got the the food for me and ensure I was ok and didn't pass out on my wedding day. I appreciate that and love that she didn't see me as another pay cheque but actually cared about my well being. These qualities in people is becoming hard to see these days, because most people seem to be about 'self' and not care for others. Heidi was so awesome and such an amazing photographer! She captured our mini wedding ceremony after Covid caused us to postpone our larger celebration and she was so helpful in planning the day and had a lot of great suggestions to tailor our package to fit our needs. She was so sweet and helpful capturing our day; she showed us early and was super efficient in getting all the photos we wanted and helping us all feel comfortable in front of the camera, including our pup. Finding *the perfect* photographer for my wedding day was one of the most important details to me. I didn't want someone that was going to treat the day like any other wedding, I wanted someone who I "clicked" with, someone who I would feel comfortable with. That's where Heidi came in. She was amazing. From the moment we first met, I felt so comfortable with her and I knew she was going to treat & help make the day special. She was organized, relaxed, and most importantly helped keep me focused to make sure I got the pictures I wanted. When we went outside to take pictures on our wedding day the ground was wet from rain earlier in the day. Heidi put her jacket on the ground so my dress didn't get dirty. It was one of those things that really stuck with me & reassured me that I picked an amazing photographer. When we got our pictures, they were amazing. So beautiful, vibrant and she really captured the love & energy that my husband and I felt on our wedding day. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who was in need of a photographer for anything.

Heidi took beautiful photos for our small elopement ceremony. Neither my husband or myself consider ourselves particularly comfortable in front of the camera (although he surprised me and got into the posing with her encouragement, haha!) Fantastic wedding photographer!
Heidi Roland was an absolute pleasure to work with. Heidi connected with me a few weeks before our wedding to plan the day and encouraged us to create a list of all the group/ type of photos we wanted captured. Heidi then touched base with us the night before the wedding to confirm all the details. Her level of organization helped keep me calm during the whole planning process and the day itself! We had a small wedding and only hired Heidi for 2 hours, but she made sure we got every possible memory photographed. I was so grateful we created the list because she made it happen and all the photographs look beautiful and effortless! Even though we had a short amount of time, I didn't feel rushed and was able to enjoy it because we had a plan and stuck to it. Heidi was great to work with! She took my wedding day photos and I love how they came out. She greeted us at the venue and got us started right away. She was really sweet and helped make us feel relaxed as of course we were super nervous. She made sure we got formal and informal photos and made sure we had all of the combos of us and wedding guests in the shoot. Unusual Time and Place? No Problem!
Heidi was referred to us by a colleague who was thrilled with her work, and we wholeheartedly share the sentiment! She met with me in-person several weeks before the event to go over the location, shot list, and expectations-- Heidi was exceedingly affable and put me at ease about one of the more nerve-wracking aspects of wedding planning. She was able to accommodate our very inconvenient ceremony time (7:45am!), showed up EARLY and was ready to capture the moments of everyone arriving, and MOST IMPRESSIVELY, though she was booked for ANOTHER event that same day, she arranged for a second photographer to come document our party later in the day. The photos were ready and made available to me in approximately one-twentieth of the time it took my sister to get her wedding photos, and the download and share features were easy and intuitive. All for a fee that was so competitively priced that, well, I've never said yes so quickly to spending that much money. I was very grateful to have her services and would vehemently recommend her for anyone looking to put their mind at ease about expertly and joyfully documenting their event. Thank you, Heidi!!

Heidi is a awesome photographer! When I first contacted her she was very thorough with the details and scheduling of the session. A week before the wedding we went through the schedule again and discussed transportation and weather concerns if outdoor photography does not work out that we would have a back up location. She also brought umbrellas in case we needed it! (Good news it didn't rain during our outdoor session.) She photographed everything that we discussed and she was very accommodating. We also photographed at a location we didn't add to the schedule and we had extra time to spare. She is flexible with where ever we wanted to be photographed. I would highly recommend Heidi as your photographer! I will be using her in the future!

On our wedding day, she was professional, personable and creative. My husband and I are so amazed at how beautiful our pictures turned out. Heidi really captured our personalities and the joy and love we felt that day. They turned out so unique and phenomenal that we struggled with picking our favorites! Everyone who has seen her work has said they are the best wedding pictures they have ever seen and we agree!

We are so happy that Heidi was a part of our wedding day (and engagement shoot!)! She was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and the day of. She was down to earth, professional and offered SO much advice and guidance throughout the entire process. Her work is amazing!! This is the second wedding she has done for my family (she did my sisters engagement and wedding in 2017) and I am sure there will be more in the future. Fantastic!
I got married last Monday, and got my photos back today... I am SO happy with them! My whole family thinks they are amazing! We eloped, so we only needed a photographer for about 30 minutes, and she got amazing photos in that time! Everyone who I’ve shown the photos to has been shocked when they find out the price didn’t break the bank, saying things like “These are BEAUTIFUL! - and for that price?! I spent way more and my photos weren’t nearly as good as these!” But I digress. It was just my husband, our two kids (toddler and infant) and myself there, and Heidi had such a way with our toddler! My husband and I drove away from the wedding site saying how impressed we were with how she got our 3 year old to pay attention and smile naturally! (A task we often have trouble with!) Would definitely recommend Heidi for your wedding. She captured many great moments in the small amount of time we had her, for a very reasonable price!

Amazing working with Heidi!
Searching for a wedding photographer was an extremely stressful and overwhelming experience. I'm so happy that we were able to find Heidi for our engagement and wedding photography. We were so nervous about posing for the engagement shoot but Heidi really put us at ease and we had a lot of fun! The photos came out beautifully. Once the wedding day came I had no doubts. We were running a bit late with our schedule in the morning but thankfully Heidi was very flexible and in the end it all worked out. Everyone has been raving about our wedding photos and I'm happy to spread the word - Heidi is amazing and I would love to work with her again!

Heidi was amazing! My fiancé and I didn’t want the fanfare of a traditional wedding, but wanted gorgeous photos of the day. From the first conversation I had with her, she totally got it.
Heidi arrived early to meet us before things got started. From her experience with Philadelphia City Hall ceremonies, she knew the best places to take photos in and around the building. We felt comfortable and at ease!
And Heidi is very prompt- the gallery and files arrived before we expected them! Everyone loves the photos; they’re very sweet, elegant, and true to the moment.

We loved working with Heidi for our wedding, and we're very happy with the wonderful images we now have. We were really blown away by Heidi's quick turn around, and by such fun, meaningful, and special pictures that really capture the way we felt and all the important people and moments from that day. Heidi was such a great combination of unobtrusive and helpful in guiding us to capture the moments and portraits we told her were important to us. We are definitely not accustomed to being photographed, and Heidi was great at helping us feel comfortable and most of all not really notice being photographed at all (other than the portraits, of course). Highly recommend!

My husband and I have the honor of having the AMAZING Heidi Roland document our wedding journey. She took our engagement photos, captured our engagement party and pictures on our wedding day that we simply can't get enough of. She has an amazing eye and pays attention to EVERY detail. Heidi is just so wonderful to work with! She captured our wedding day so beautifully. She is very patient and understanding and really listened to our needs while creating a shot list. sHe is also very efficient with time and helped put together a realistic timeline for the photoshoot so that we get wonderful pictures but also have time to take in the wedding. She and her assistant are very creative and found stunning natural lighting and locales around city hall for the pictures. She also took pictures at our reception venue and caught the decor and ambiance very well. Her turnaround time for re-touched images was a week!! We were very happy with the result and would hire her again for any special occasion photography.

Heidi was absolutely amazing. Her simple use of light was so nice at our arboretum wedding. Heidi was very and organized while going through the planning process. She was able to really nail down a timeline for us that kept everyone organized while getting all those photos taken! We were really able to enjoy the party that way. Heidi also included about 3 phone calls in weeks leading up to the wedding to nail down the last minute details and preferences we had to make our day special. Overall, Heidi attitude and spirit was so lovely. You can really tell she loves what she does and makes it an honor to capture the special moments of your wedding day.
