Heather photographed my brother's wedding in 2016 and I knew after seeing his photos that I would want her to do my future wedding as well. Fast forward 7 years, I didn't even bother looking for other photographers because I knew nothing would compare to her work. We truly could not be happier with the way our wedding photos turned out and cannot thank her enough for making our day fun, easy and stress-free! -

Heather. There is simply no other option if you or someone you know is looking for a photographer. This girl goes above and beyond to shoot every moment of your day from start to finish. We hired Heather after she shot my brother's wedding back in 2015- I knew then and there that I wanted Heather to shoot my wedding one day. Our package included an engagement session which she absolutely nailed. She listens and makes suggestions so she can captivate the very best you. Her charismatic personality and witty humor is just a bonus! She laughs with you and makes the most out of her time with you. We had originally planned a large, out of state wedding in which she was going to travel to but we ended up having to cancel that (Hi, 2020) and she was there every step of the way after planning a small ceremony in my parent's backyard. From the second Heather showed up, she showed how truly knowledgeable and passionate she is about photography and her photos prove that! What we love most about Heather's work is how she photographs the small, candid moments; she captures conversations, affection, love and tears- you can literally relive your wedding day by looking back at photos. She clearly pours her heart into capturing the best day of your life so, seriously, hire her. It will be the best decision you make! -

At first, I struggled to find a photographer, worrying about how expensive it was while also obsessing over how desperately I wanted to have great photos. Luckily, a friend of mine heard me agonizing and advised me that this was something worth splurging on if it mattered so much to me. And I'm so glad she did! We are thrilled with how Heather's photos turned out and so grateful for her ability to nimbly and gracefully shift from moment to moment at our wedding and create such beautiful images that really captured the spirit of the day. In addition to being an amazing photographer, Heather kept us calm, helped troubleshoot random issues that popped up and made us laugh. The investment was 100% worth it. We will treasure Heather's photos forever. -

Heather is an incredible photographer! We recently got married in Detroit at Old St. Mary's Church and had our reception at the Detroit Athletic Club. She made our wedding day come to life in her photos. She has a way of capturing moments that I've never seen in any other photographer. She captured the spirit of our wedding and the emotions behind the photos. On top of that, her photos are visually stunning. They are crisp and clean and exceeded my expectations.
Not only did she provided timeless black-and-white photos, but also captured unique photos with the city of Detroit as the backdrop. She found unique wall murals to take pictures in front of including the new Stevie Wonder mural.
She was very professional, prompt, and knew how to stage every photo. Her online platform is very easy to use and she is very easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend using Heather to everyone I know. -

Jenny Sent on 08/07/2019We couldn’t have imagined our wedding without Heather!
The moment we laid eyes on Heather’s work, we knew she was the one. The moment we got off our first Facetime call, my now hubby and I were so ecstatic to work with her because she was incredible--she upbeat, positive, and professional--and carried that energy straight into our wedding day. We had a July 4th destination wedding in Petoskey, Michigan at the Bay Harbor Village Hotel. Being from Los Angeles, it’s not easy planning day-of wedding logistics thousands of miles away, but Heather made it so much easier. She even took it upon herself to location scout the day before so we knew where to take photos outside outside of the hotel grounds. Gosh, I can’t even explain how amazing Heather was day-of the wedding. I remember on our initial phone call Heather explained that she is just like one of the bridesmaids on wedding day. I can tell you that is true. She really went above and beyond from fixing bowties and boutonnieres, making sure that our bouquets didn’t have any weird stragglers, to making sure that everything looked right and proper, and the event day flowed logistically!
Lastly, I wanted to talk about our photos. We are in AWE. Guests can’t stop talking about the photos. They are so stunning, exquisite, and beautiful. She was able to capture all the moments on our special day. She even made us a slideshow and we received all the photos one month after the wedding. So quick!

Jenna Sent on 09/24/2018Heather was absolutely AMAZING and seriously the best decision we made for our wedding day. Heather is hilarious, professional and so incredibly talented it's ridiculous. She kept everything running smoothly, answered all of our questions, and is just an overall awesome human being. We LOVE our pictures and I can't tell you how many compliments we have received on them. One of the most consistent things we've heard from friends and family who looks at our photos is "These are gorgeous and your photographer really captured the FEELING of the day--it's like I'm there." That is exactly what we wanted and more. Do yourself a favor and hire Heather <3

Ashley Sent on 09/26/2018I have followed Heather's photography for many years, so I knew I wanted her to capture my wedding as soon as I got engaged. My husband and I don't consider ourselves the most photogenic people in the world, and taking our engagement photos (not by Heather) was pretty uncomfortable. Heather helped us feel completely comfortable and relaxed during the entire day. She joked with us and kept the mood light while giving mild coaching during photos. She also helped me put my veil on when my hairdresser left early, helped get my dress on when the zipper got stuck, and helped my husband get his boutonniere on straight.
Our wedding photos absolutely surpassed my expectations, Heather managed to perfectly capture the vibe of our day. I can't recommend her enough. -

Brittany Sent on 10/07/2016Someone said it before, and I will say it again. She is worth her weight in gold. Photography was a high priority for me.. my husband on the other hand just wanted "a photographer". After receiving our final prints, she blew us away. He even tears up every time he sees them and said she was totally worth every penny! She captured exactly the vision we were going for. The images that we will have forever as the years add up. She has an artistic eye, and paired with her experience she truly knew what was best - from where the first dance should be to how to position the cake. Trust her. Go for her, and I promise you will not be disappointed. She is a bit more expensive than others, but if photography is important to you -- Don't skimp on one of the most important days of your life. We had no idea we smiled as much as we did, but she caught em all.
