Heather is just simply an amazing photographer! She has the ability to make you feel comfortable when you are nervous about getting your picture taken. She is so nice, personable, and, experienced...a true professional at her craft. She did my engagement pictures and when I saw them, I knew there could be not be anyone else I would want but her to do my wedding pictures. I'm so excited and cant wait until my wedding. To think that she will capture...and she already has some of the most precious and happy moments of our lives.Heather is just simply an amazing photographer! While my husband was deployed overseas, I searched high and low in the VA/DC area for a photographer for our wedding. When my sister and I met with Heather, I immediately knew that she would be perfect for our big day! It was one of the easiest decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process! Not only is Heather professional and extremely talented, but her kind and sweet personality put you at ease. My husband and I aren’t the most photogenic people, but Heather was able to guide and direct us with our posing to really capture the special moments. She emailed me a “sneak peek” picture from the wedding and it’s beautiful!! We can’t wait to receive the rest of the pictures! Heather is simply amazing! From the moment we met Heather, my husband and I knew that we wanted her to photograph our wedding. She instantly knew what types of photos we wanted, and she was so easy to talk to and work with! On the day of our wedding, she was the first vendor I saw at the venue, and she made everything feel easy and stress free. From our first look to the cake cutting, Heather beautifully captured every important moment of our wedding day. Each image turned out better than I could have imagined. Every time we show our wedding photos to someone, they are in awe of how wonderful each one looks. My husband and I love Heather! She did our Engagement, First Look, and Wedding Day photos and we had a blast!
What really stood out to me about Heather was not only was she always on time but she came with great ideas and suggestions! Heather has a way of giving just the right amount of suggestions but still making sure you feel like the photos are your style! She's down for any adventure to get great photos!
Heather is amazing at capturing emotions through her photos. We did First Look photos which was super emotional for us and Heather was extremely respectful of this! She somehow knew when we needed a moment to ourselves and while she took stunning photos of our moment, I was happy some of those emotions remained private and off camera!
Heather is the absolute best!My husband and I love Heather! She did our Engagement, First Look, and Wedding Day photos and we had a blast!

Prior to selecting Heather as my photographer, I had seen her pictures and thought "Gee, Heather thinks outside the box" as she got pretty creative with her pictures. She sits down with you to get an idea as to what kind of pictures you are looking for and the dollar amount you are wanting to spend. I have used Heather for several different photo shoots - Victorian time period, my daughter & niece Senior photo shoots, and my wedding in Feb. 2016. I have not been disappointed in any of her pictures and she is just fun to be around. She is very light hearted and professional. You won't be disappointed. Her photos stunning, and she has mastered the perfect balance between fading into the background and stepping in to provide just enough direction when needed. We actually had to change our wedding day after we signed the contract and she immediately checked her calendar and got back to us (fortunately she was free)! I was acting coordinator for my friends wedding so I got to work closely with Heather. She was extremely professional (especially given that people were jumping into her shots with their iPhones etc.) and I just to look at the photos for the first time and they are BEAUTIFUL!!!! I work in the wedding industry myself so I know how messy it can be behind the scenes but Heather managed to capture all the best parts of the evening. The room we were getting ready in wasn't terribly visually appealing but she managed to make it look like and elegant beautiful space. We found Heather through Life Gallery Studio in Vienna, VA. While we picked the studio for the value of their packages, we ended up with an incredible photographer who shot both our engagement and wedding photos. Heather was friendly, creative and incredibly flexible. Our engagement shoot photos were taken at Great Falls VA, and were fantastic. Our wedding photos were at various spots on the National Mall and we couldn't be happier with them. Heather worked really well with our reverend and later our DJ and was able to capture both posed and candid photos.
