Talented, warm, and true professionals

Di was an absolute pleasure to work with! From our first video call to plan the schedule and get to know each other, I knew he'd be great — and he blew us away on the actual day. He made taking photos so fun, and was personable and comforting throughout what was a long, busy day (we had a tea ceremony before the wedding ceremony itself). Even when it rained, Di found a sliver of time to sneak in the outdoor photos I'd really wanted.
We loved working with Di and Caroline — our bridal party and guests couldn't stop talking about them too!

Best photography team out there

Heartfelt Photography recently did shot my wedding-THEY ARE AMAZING!! The team fully captured everything I dreamed of and now I have the absolute best photos to reflect on everyday. Heartfelt all the way!

Hiring Heartfelt Studio was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding on 9/14/23. Di was incredible to work with from the start. He was extremely communicative with me months leading up to the wedding which made me feel very secure. I’m a reality TV producer and wanted to do something that is a staple in my industry… a video confessional! Although it hasn’t been done before, to my knowledge, Di was able to execute it FLAWLESSLY. My guests are still talking about how much fun they had leaving us video messages. The other photographers and videographers on the team (Eduardo, Caroline, and Michael) deserve so much praise as well. Their professionalism and talent is unmatched. I have never felt more comfortable with a team of people coaching me through photos & videos (there’s a reason I work behind the camera and not in front of it)! Lol. They were extremely patient and kind when dealing with me, my husband, and our families. Although we haven’t received our complete photo or video packages just yet… we got to see a short version of our confessional video which was EPIC and some sneak peaks of the photos which are INCREDIBLE. It makes me very excited to see all the materials soon. Thank you, Heartfelt. You were a big part in making our night one to remember.

Amazing team

My husband and I recently got married and hired Heartfelt for photography & videography. BEST decision ever! They made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We had a lot of kids in the bridal party and they were amazing with them. We haven't received our pictures yet but from seeing a few on their camera I am 100000% certain that they are going to be the most beautiful pictures! THANK YOU heartfelt!!

incredible team and beautiful work!

We're so glad we found & had the opportunity to work with the Heartfelt team for our wedding. In the months leading up to the day, the team was quick to answer any questions we had and made it a point to reach out at specific intervals to go over details of the day, schedule, and our vision for the wedding. We were so impressed by how professional, organized, and proactive they were -- those calls were some of the earliest we had with our vendors and gave us a better idea of what to expect day-of. At every step of the way, Heartfelt made us feel secure in our decision to choose them: they proved over & over again that they were a team we could trust.

On the actual wedding day, Di & his team were so much fun to work with! We could easily see how passionate they were about their work, and we felt very lucky to be able to take part in that process: the entire time, they kept the energy up and suggested so many different & creative shots. Every interaction we had with them was so warm and enthusiastic, it made us feel more excited, more joyful -- and ultimately that made a difference to how we experienced the day.

Of course, the work doesn't stop after the wedding! The sneak peek we received was perfect -- and I want to take a moment to emphasize what great cinematographers they are. We recognized it from their portfolio when we booked them, and now actually seeing their expertise applied to our own day is so meaningful. Their editing is always tailored to the specific vibe of the couple: the film felt so much like us. It was our most beautiful moments, tenderly placed alongside each other so that we could look back and see the incredible joy of that day in all its different shades.

Amazing people and amazing work

We loved working with Heartfelt! Di and his team are such a fun crew and they made us feel so calm and comfortable during our wedding day.

Their professionalism, funny banter, creative ideas for shots, and overall friendliness made our wedding day such a great time.

Di is really passionate about his work and during our planning meetings, he was so helpful in coming up with photo ideas, wedding day timeline, locations for first looks, and more. He’s also super easy to talk to so we felt very comfortable right off the bat.

Great Experience

Great experience!! 5 stars! When I first went photography shopping, I couldn’t help but notice the style and warmth to their pictures. When we booked we immediately noticed their customer service display the level of experience they have in the industry, I love to work with people who know what they are doing! Our engagement shoot was part of the package and it completely surpassed our expectations. We looked like we came straight out of a movie! But most importantly it displayed our personalities and LOVE. The day of our wedding day, they were prepared, on time, fully equipped and with great energy. Our session began at 6 am so this was a plus! Their sense of humor and ability to immediately come in and use their creativity with all the items i bought made sure I got my monies worth! Most importantly they knew how to engage and keep the bridal party focus on task and deliver, I noticed it takes a certain set of skills to do this. Our photographers delivered special shout out to Di and his partner who did amazing!!

Highly Recommend Di & the Heartfelt Studio Team!

Working with Di and the Heartfelt team has been a dream come true! We were referred to Di by friends who got married 8 years ago and have since referred him to a handful of their friends. Di is not just a photographer but an artist who loves his craft. Right after we got engaged, we reached out to Heartfelt for availability before we even secured our wedding date because we knew that we wanted to work with him. Di was so excited to work a wedding down the Jersey Shore as it was a new location for his creative eye to work its magic. We purposely didn’t want a photographer that was a preferred vendor of our venue because we didn’t want the run of the mill same photos everyone takes there. We first worked with Di during our engagement shoot in Hoboken. From the moment we met him, we loved his positive energy and excitement. We had a general idea of where we wanted to take pictures in Hoboken but Di really brought our vision to life with the additional images he captured along the way.

Hands down, Di and his assistant, Jessie, were the reason we had an amazing wedding day. You spend the majority of your day with your photographer and their positive energy really kept us excited and energized throughout the whole day. Di even started singing “Baby Shark” when our nephew was crying and it automatically put a smile back on our nephew’s face! He’s such a people person and is beyond talented and creative, he’s a true master at what he does. The proof was in the pictures because we loved every single one he delivered. He also told us to expect our wedding pictures 8 weeks post wedding and we received them in less than 4 weeks. It was a no brainer for us to hire Di for our wedding but he really exceeded any expectations we had. I’ve now paid it forward and referred Di to a friend who hired him for her wedding next summer.

Di and his team are amazing! Being a covid bride and having to postpone 3 times, Di was so accommodating through the whole process. My husband and I are not ones to like our picture (or video) being taken but they made us and the bridal party feel so comfortable and had so much fun in the process. We got our wedding photos back 5 DAYS after the wedding (yes, that's right - 5 DAYS!) and I loved each one more than the next! Beyond grateful for all the Heartfelt team has done to capture our special day, and I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Amazing team and photos!

We first chose to work with Heartfelt because of their style. They were so accommodating when scheduling our engagement session since we live in Texas and had to schedule so far in advance for us to travel. After the engagement session we definitely knew we made the right choice. Di and Eddie were awesome and made us feel so comfortable during the session. Our photos and engagement video were returned so quickly to us!
Fast forward to our wedding day on 6/4/22- the whole team is so talented and creative, and we had such a good time working with them. So many laughs and again we felt so comfortable. I love how the heartfelt team vibes so well with each other! We received all our pictures in just over a week and we love them. Cannot wait to create the album and see our video footage

The perfect team to capture your magical day

Di and his team were fantastic. Di did a beautiful and creative engagement shoot in Central Park that really captured some of our favorite places and skylines in the city. Then he was with us for the day at the wedding with his coworker and created just as magical memories. The photos are so important at a wedding and they turned out stunning. Not only were the photos great, but the team is so friendly and kind that they truly make you feel at ease and beautiful in front of the camera. From the moment I contacted Di from Heartfelt in the depth of Covid he was so uplifting and helpful. We bought the full package with 2 photographers and 2 videographers for the entire day. Di gave us a complimentary engagement shoot and more importantly taught us how to pose and take great pictures. The day of the wedding all 5 of the crew were dressed in all black, very professional, and so easy to work with. If you are planning your wedding, book Heartfelt and stop worrying. Our pictures are amazing and the video is great, better than we could have imagined.

The best team & amazing pictures!

One of the best decisions we made during our wedding process was choosing Heartfelt Studio to capture our special day. We took our engagement pictures with Di and it was such a fun experience! Not only did his personality and humor make us feel comfortable but our pictures came out amazing! We had to postpone our wedding and Di was flexible and accommodating. Beautiful photos. FUN TEAM!

Eddie, Di, and the team were such a pleasure to work with - they were such a fun group, we couldn't stop raving how enjoyable and stress free they made our day. Best Photographer/Videographer Team Out There!

Di and his entire team (Edison, Eddie, Darnell) were phenomenal. I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me and my husband.
We found Heartfelt Studio through my friend who also used them for her wedding. I found their work to be exceptional and truly special. My husband and I are so glad we went with them.
We did our engagement shoot with Di and all of the photos turned out amazing. Di made it fun throughout the entire shoot and caught candid moments that were so good that we had to use them for our wedding day.
We were lucky to get married on a rainy day and in the middle of a pandemic, but that didn't stop Heartfelt Studio from being there with us 100%. Di and Edison were with me and my bridesmaids while Eddie and Darnell were with my husband and the groomsman. My husband can be tough to crack a smile especially when he's so anxious, but Eddie and Darnell were able to loosen him up just fine. The team had beautiful umbrellas for us on our wedding day and were ready to take outdoor photos with us despite the rain. Honestly I think it turned out extra special with the rain in the background.
Throughout the entire day, they were so pleasant to work with. Every member of the bridal party loved them because it felt like we were just a big group of friends hanging out together.
I couldn't have asked for a better team to capture every moment of our special day. We just received a sneak peak video of our day it looks like it came straight out of the movies. The quality of their work is impeccable and their eye for beauty is extraordinary.
I highly recommend them to anyone who needs photos and videos for any occasion. Daniel and I love you guys!!!

Amazing Wedding Experience!

Heartfelt was amazing! Di is a fun person who really makes the photo-shoots natural and easy. We originally did our engagement photos with him in Brooklyn and the photos were everything we wanted. We got some fun shots by the Brooklyn Bridge and used those for our save the dates. For our wedding we took photos for 2 hours before our ceremony at the Bourne Mansion and the photos came out perfect. We got all the shots we wanted especially those with family and friends that we will forever cherish. We got some great shots of the beautiful scenery and in the venue. The photos look like they belong in a magazine! Its just Heartfelt’s style! A big thank you to Di, Eddie, and Dariana. They captured our dream wedding! We recommend them to friends all the time.

When my husband and I got engaged, we researched A TON of photographers and ultimately decided on Heartfelt as the photos we saw on Instagram looked so genuine and effortless, and definitely stood out from the rest. Picture Perfect

Even before I got engaged I knew I wanted to use Heartfelt Photography for my wedding! So, immediately after I said "yes" I was in contact with Di. He was extremely helpful and patient through the entire setting the date process. Since our schedules were so difficult Di worked with us through FaceTime until we were able to meet in person. We had the pleasure to work with him on our engagement shoot. He made us feel very comfortable, which resulted in amazing photos that really captured who we are as a couple! My husband was so impressed when he saw the photos, and it made us both really excited for our wedding pictures. Di, Tony, Rick, and Ray were amazing to work with the day of our wedding. They were extremely professional, and always very time conscious. They made sure to make us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the day (which happened to be one of the most humid days in July!). Above and beyond!

I am so happy with our experience with Di and the whole Heartfelt Studio team. I contacted them after seeing their photos and videos from my best friends wedding last year--my husband and I really loved their work. They were the first vendor we booked following our venue because we did not want them to be booked by anyone else! We had a great experience during our engagement photo shoot and it definitely helped me to become more comfortable in front of the camera. The wedding day went by so smoothly and my family was so impressed by their direction and ability to get such amazing shots. Di even sent me a bunch of great pictures that same night! Couldn't have asked for a better team to capture the best day of our lives! My Wife and I used Heartfelt Studio's for our Wedding on June 24th at Temple Chaverim. The entire team was beyond friendly and made my Wife and I so comfortable the entire day/night. Every-time we looked up at the wedding, there was someone from the team capturing the moment. We could not have asked for a better photography/cinematography team. At the end of the night, Di, the head photographer sent us three pictures from the day that he had already edited and they were beyond gorgeous. WOW, I don't even know where to start. Each and every team member is so talented and wonderful to work with. My husband and I were very picky about photographs and video and we really did our research in the NY/Tri state area (so we looked into many different vendors). What first attracted us to Heartfelt was the fact that when we met Di he did not give off the "salesman" vibe, he was professional and knew his stuff but he was very genuine. Then once we saw their work we were hooked. They take a truly “photojournalistic” approach and capture all of the emotions of the day (for both the engagement shoot and the wedding ceremony/reception) We didn’t have to give them any direction, they thought of every photo/video opportunity possible, things we wanted to begin with and things we never would have thought of- it was awesome.
Another important thing I would say is that everyone at Heartfelt made myself, my husband, our families, bridal party feel so relaxed and comfortable the day of the wedding, I am sure this is one of the reasons why the photos and video turned out as great as they did.
They are fun, professional, efficient, artistic…and the list goes on. I would go with Heartfelt as my photographers and videographers every time!!! I wish I had another upcoming event to work on with them.

Words can not express our sincere gratitude for Heartfelt Studios. From our initial meeting with Di, we knew right away that this was the perfect company to use for our wedding. In fact, they were the first and only vendor we ever looked at! The entire team at Heartfelt Studios are beyond amazing and are all true professionals. Everything was so organized, we never had to worry about a thing!

We used Heartfelt Studios for both Photography and Cinematography and could not have been happier. Di and Jesse captured every single moment from our wedding and we still receive raving reviews from our wedding video, filmed by Edison and Kosuke! Where do I even begin?! Di, Edison, Eddie, and Donnel are the incredible team that created the most memorable day for us. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to truly capture the essence that is Heartfelt. Each of the guys is fun, caring, and truly a master of their craft. They have an excellent ability to keep you laughing naturally on camera which helps capture the beauty of your love. They make you feel comfortable, like you've been friends for years. I cannot even believe the moments that were captured and am so incredibly grateful to have those moments to last a lifetime. Di and his team are the most amazing photographers I have ever worked with from the engagement shoot through the wedding it was nothing but a pleasure. They don't make you do old fashioned boring poses, they make this FUN!!! Of course, some are conventional (come on you need and want some of those) but they have such a knack for creativity and vision that it was impressive what they did with us. Our first two pictures (I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for the rest of my wedding pictures) are beyond fantastic... gorgeous... beautiful... and the trailer is exactly what I dreamed of and actually told my mother I wanted before they even knew. My husband and I got married on May 21st 2016 and Heartfelt Studio did both our photos and video. Di, Eddie, Edison, Donnell and Angelo are top notch! They were so easy to work with from our first meeting to just a few days ago when I picked up all our unedited footage and gorgeous album box. These guys feel like old friends, which made our wedding day and the whole planning process so stress free and fun with them. Our photos are absolutely incredible and our album is just beautiful. The cinematography is amazing; Edison is so talented. We got our trailer and our wedding day edit and our friends and family are all amazed at how awesome it came out. They tell us its like a movie about our wedding day and it truly is!
Your wedding day flies by in the blink of an eye and all the planning is over just like that, but with great photo and video, you can relive your wedding day as often as you want. What can I say about all of these guys at Heartfelt!! My pictures are stunning and I am so thankful they were able to capture my day the way they did. My wedding had a vineyard rustic feel and that is exactly what my pictures capture. Di has been exceptional throughout the whole process, from our engagement pictures (helping us get comfortable in front of the camera), to helping us with our amazing engagement book, to going over every detail of pictures that I wanted taken, to even booking our video two weeks before our wedding, and to making our wedding day amazing! From the moment I saw a wedding photo taken by Di I knew I had to have him photograph my wedding. His work is absolutely breathtaking and after meeting with him it was an easy decision for my husband and I. He is SO easy going and fun to be around. During our engagement shoot and entire wedding day it truly felt like we were hanging out with a good friend who just happened to be photographing us. We initially planned to book for photography only as I had some interest in another videographer. After meeting with Di we decided to book with Heartfelt for video as well because we were that impressed with the quality of his work. The icing on the cake was how AMAZING his team was. Eddie, Edison, and Donnel were just as down to earth, hilarious, and talented. The "sneak peeks" we saw already have been more beautiful than I ever imagined they could be.

I can't say enough amazing things about Di, Edison, and Heartfelt Studios! From the start Di made me and my husband feel so comfortable. He had an amazing vision from the beginning and he truly followed through on it. Planning a wedding is extremely stressful but I looked forward to my meetings with Di because he was always able to make me feel relaxed and excited. The excitement the whole team shared with me on my wedding day made it that much more special. I have received so many compliments on my photos and video--with good reason. I know that if I had not used Heartfelt Studios my wedding and memories would not be the same. We absolutely love our wedding video from Heartfelt Studio. From the first dance cut to the trailer, I have cried happy tears watching each one! Edison and his team were incredibly professional and kind on our wedding day. We barely noticed the cameras were there, and yet, they seemed to have captured all of our favorite moments. We had Di and his team at our wedding (and engagement shoot). We booked his team because he also did our best friends' wedding that we were in so we got to see first hand how they work and how GORGEOUS their photos/cinematography is before we even booked them for ourselves. For the quality of work that you receive, they are reasonably priced (not cheap, but well worth it). Our engagement photos and our wedding photos came back to us in under a month and they were fabulous. I cannot recommend Di and his team enough. True professionals, but even more importantly, true artists!

Best wedding photographers and videographers you can ever ask for!! I met Di when he shot my other friends wedding a couple years ago. I knew from then when I was to get married I would use him. Once my now husband saw his work and met with him, without any hesitation we chose Heartfelt to do both Photo and Video! The work Di and his team does is truly amazing! I have studied photography before and work in an art school, and my husband is a videographer/editor so we know good work when we see it :) The Heartfelt studio team just has this natural ability to see and capture the most beautiful moments of ones life. Not only that, but every bride knows that taking manyyyy pictures can get overwhelming... Heartfelt made everything so comfortable and fun for us! We even got to experience seeing the drone in action! Our engagement and wedding pictures came out incredible, as well as the cinema preview (cant wait to see the full ones)!! My husband and I thought from start to finish Heartfelt Studio was great. Looking through his portfolio and website we were instantly excited about having him as our wedding photographer. What you get at the end of the day is an incredible keepsake of your very special day. His wedding albums look and feel amazing - it looks like an incredible art book. His packages include a engagement session which helps to get you comfortable working together. The added bonus is that those engagement shots make for an incredible guestbook at the reception. Our guests thought it was almost too nice to write in. I also liked that the photo packages include a second shooter. This is pretty important since other photographers may charge extra for the second shooter. The most difficult part of the whole process was selecting only a handful of photos for the wedding album. I literally wanted to put all of them into my album. Luckily, you're given a very nice personalized USB drive with all the full-resolution photos to use as you want.

I came across HeartFelt Studio randomly through FaceBook, I really liked the style of the photographer and decided to give him a call. We met up for a consultation and we knew that he was going to be our photographer. I have to say, we were SO lucky to have come across them this way. Di and his group were professional, efficient and most of all artistic. We really appreciated the fact that they took into account our vision and ideas and were able to fulfill them and at the same time tweak it with their own professional views in order to capture memorable moments of the day. We were also very pleased with the fact that we were able to get everything back in a timely matter. You hear many stories about couples not receiving their photos, albums and videos for long periods of time. Overall, Heartfelt did an amazing job and now we have beautiful memories forever. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to use them for other photo projects =).

My husband and I did not want to spend a lot of money on the wedding except for photography and video. That is the only area we were will to spend a little more so we looking at sample pictures from all over, not paying any attention to who the vendor is nor checking out any pricing. We kept clicking "next" until we came across a few photos that we really like. We liked the style, the angles, the colors, the details, the moments that were caught so we clicked onto the website and there were more amazing pictures that suited our taste! We instantly made up our mind to book this vendor. ---- Its been 3 weeks after our wedding now, we just got our pictures back yesterday and were told to pic 70-80 pictures for the album. We picked over 200! It's a challenge to try to pick only 80. There are just so many great shots. Everyone including my mom who is difficult to please liked our pictures!. I can't thank the crew enough. There were five of them. They were all so professional, personable, fun, easygoing and they come up with very creative ideas and poses on the spot! They didn't make us we like we were just another couple getting married. We are just so happy and grateful that Heartfelt Studio did such a great job capturing all the moments on my special day. I just can't wait to get my album. Thank you guys!!

Di was such a great photographer. He was very friendly and made myself and my husband feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We are both a little camera shy! He took so many amazing photos and we got such amazing feedback from everyone saying how much they loved the pictures. Di has an extraordinary eye for capturing the perfect moments. He will work with you to pose you in the manners that suit you best, he is so comfortable to work with and will make you feel at ease at all times. Di Zhang is a true artist- we were lucky enough to have him photograph our wedding as well as our engagement session. Di captured all of our most important memories and we couldn't be happier. My husband and I were a little nervous at our engagement session as we didn't really know what to expect or do as far as posing, expressions, etc; but Di was AMAZING and guided us through every step of the way and made it so much fun and relaxing! After about 3 minutes of meeting him, we felt totally comfortable and we were that much more excited about him photographing our wedding. We knew we were in the best hands. The day of the wedding, Di was there snapping away and caught so many moments that we had missed in the whirlwind that was our big day. I am so grateful for the tangible memories he has provided us that we can share with our family and friends. Di at Heartfelt Studios was so wonderful! By the end of our first meeting I felt like we became friends. He was so creative and despite car trouble the morning of our wedding he arrived on time. Di and his assistant Jessie were so creativeand helpful all day long. I thought the pictures would be ruined because it was pouring raining all day but he had us take the pictures in my barn. I was so happy to see my photos, only 3 short weeks after the wedding and I was fascinated. Now almost 2 months later I still can't stop staring at them. He really captured the day perfectly from how romantic and dramatic my venue was to how much fun our friends and family were having. Di was our photographer for both engagement and wedding. He is a great guy and a pleasure to work with.

We had our engagement photo session in Central Park. The pictures were AMAZING!! He captured the style and lighting exactly how we wanted. He knew all the great areas and spots that we would never think of.

On our wedding day, Di showed up early and told us to enjoy our wedding and he'll take care of our big day. He was very professional and courteous when working with the venue and other vendors. He really knows how to capture the essence of a wedding. Every single picture came out beautiful, we're really thankful to have someone so great to be our photographer on our biggest day.

YES, I would highly recommend Di to my friends and family, or anyone who's reading this review. Wedding planning can be stressful, but your experience don't have to be. We're glad we chose Di to be our photographer for our engagement and wedding.

Di was a pleasure to work with and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He lightened the mood without being too invasive, and we had a lot of fun with him. Both our engagement and wedding photos had a great combination of beautiful and playful shots, and after a terrible experience with another photographer who gave us no direction, we really appreciated him telling us how to look our best. He also let us preview a number of shots and retake some, which was great!

Di was so excellent to work with! We met two times before the wedding, one to make sure he was legit and review his stuff and then once to go over all of the shots. When I saw his porfolio I knew he was our guy. We had a small ceremony in Central Park and a reception afterwards. He was so easy to work with and our photos turned out beautifully! It was the hottest day of summer that day and he was a true champ. He got such great photos and did it so discreetly. I have recommended him to several of my friends and will continue to do so. Our only regret was that we didn't hire him to come along and document our honeymoon! ;) Thank you Di!

My wife and I could not be any happier with Di (and Eddie)!

From the very beginning when we started discussing our wedding, Di was extremely cooperative and helpful. He gave us a bunch of suggestions on what to order and how to handle different issues. He was always very friendly and offered us great rates, especially given the service and quality of his work.

From the engagement photo shoot and the fantastic wooden case he gave us the pics in, to the surprise pics he'd post on Facebook, to the wedding day itself, and the day he gave us the final photos, every step was perfect. Di and Eddie were very fun to take pics with during our photo shots prior to the event on our wedding day. I've been in wedding parties where the photographers were annoying, but these guys were the exact opposite.

I have been and will be recommending Di (and Eddie, if he was staying) to all my friends who are looking for photographers. I am very glad that Di chose this to be his profession. Well done!

Hands down the best photographer we could ever have for our wedding! I only met Di one before my wedding, but I already knew he would be great - he has a great personality that you will never feel uneasy talking or working with him.

On the wedding day, not surprisingly, Di was as great as expected, we couldn't be happier having him to capture every moment of our big day.

We had a small ceremony in Central Park and had a few hours' photo shoot afterwards. It was pleasant couple hours when we traveled through the Park and all the way down to South Ferry. I'm usually camera-shy and can get stiff when it comes to photo shooting, but Di made it so comfortable, I truly enjoyed the whole process.

The finished pictures came on a DVD in a delicate wood box engraved with our names. The "feature" picture printed on the DVD turned out to be my favorite picture of the entire set. But of course, all the pictures were just awesome.

Thank you so very much Di. You are the man!

I'd recommend him 120% to whoever's looking for a photographer on your wedding day. It's an important decision to make, and you will be making the right one by choosing Di. :)

Our photos turned out wonderful!

Not only was he nice and mentally prepared, but he trecked day into night with us all around Manhattan, just to get all the shots we requested.

He captured awesome shots of the two of us and NYC! So many were canvas-worthy that I had a hard time choosing from the pictures.

I want to start by thanking Di for all that he did. I looked far and wide for a good Photographer and I was recommended to use Dreamlife Photo and Video for a good value. We got paired with the senior photographer. He is very easy to work with, makes you feel very comfortable and most of all when he shoots you barely notice he's there. My engagment photos were taken in the beginning of May 2012 in Central Park on a gorgeous Sunday. Even though it was on an "Hour Engagment Photo session" he went over the alloatted time as he wanted to get a few more good shoots in. Clearly he is passionate about what he does:)

I was SO impressed by my photos that it was my peace of mind that my wedding photos will come outs great and I was NOT let down. And might I add I got my engagement photos were ready within a WEEK of shoot.

On the day of my wedding, he was on time, he was shooting away in the background as my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. My husband and I decided to do pictures before the ceremony (highly recommned this) so we did the First Look at a park in town. Di captured all the angels I wanted! I think the most memoriable part is when he took a group shoot of the entire bridal party next to the lake in the park. He literally kicked off his shoes and went into the water and started to taking shoots. My guests are still talking about that photo!!

Lastly, I want to add I love his style. Its a perfect blend of photojourlarism and traditional. Satisfies my artistic tastes and catpured those essential photos of my father and I, mother and I that I need for framing.

Dear brides,

Choosing a photographer is by far the most important to-do on your list. You want someone you feel comfortable around, someone who knows how to make you look beautiful, and someone who you trust with capturing one of the most important days in your life.

Di is all of those someones and more. Not only was he our wedding and engagement shoot photographer, he's now a close friend. During the ceremony, he snapped candid pictures -- most of the time without us even knowing -- all of which were beautiful, unposed, and sincere. During the reception, he took the necessary group/family shots, but really captured the essence of the evening -- the beach, the moon, the details.

I look at these pictures every day and can still smell the salty air, feel the sand, and taste the cake. If you want photos that make your big day/night unforgettable -- Di's your man!

Di was amazing! He captured all the precious moments of our wedding from getting ready, to the ceremony, all the way to the reception! Before our big day, he took the time to sit with us and discuss the run down of our wedding day, what we were wishing to capture and he delivered to the fullest. We wanted a photo journalistic approach with some traditional photos (like the photos with the family) and he did just that. We had a very unique venue, a broadway theater in Times Square NY, and he really knew how to capture pictures that spoke to you. He played with the rarity of this historic reception place and really captured the essence of our New York wedding! We even did a stroll around Times Square and he took some amazing pictures using the backdrop of the heart of the Theater District! Our wedding was a feature in Manhattan Bride magazine the following year and we were able to use Di's pictures to showcase our beautiful and memorable occasion! I would definitely recommend him.

What else could I say, but Di was incredible! My husband and I were attracted by Di's artistic style and ability to capture incredible pictures. We saw his work and were instantly inclined to use him for our wedding!

Our engagement session was a great experience. Di made us completely comfortable with all of our shots and captured the most amazing pictures. He is not only easy to work with, but his photographic skills are unmatched.

The day of our wedding, Di was great. He is so easy to work with and had everyone laughing. Our entire bridal parties and families were extremely impressed with him. What I most liked about Di was that he was able to get a tremendous amount of pictures, but my husband and I never once felt as though we were being pulled away from our wedding, interrupted to take a picture or bothered. He was quietly capturing the best shots without ever seeming to be there. At other weddings, some people brides and grooms complain that their photographer pulled them out of their own wedding too much - well, this was not the case with DI! He manages time very well so that the pictures taken do not take away from any part of your special day.

I would recommend Heartfelt to anyone! In fact we did, and they booked right away as well. The quality of work, the professionalism, Di's ability to work with anyone and the passion for photography make this an easy pick when booking for your own wedding or special occasion!

Di was our photographer for our wedding in October, 2012. Not only is he laid back and funny but he is a skilled photographer as well. We took an array of posed (ie. family pics) but mostly candid shots that were both unique and personal. Since it rained on our wedding day, Di changed the location of our photos on a whim which turned out to better than our original location. We cannot thank Di enough for all the time and effort he put in to make our day go without a hitch! We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos. We love them and we love Di! Di is the man! We are so thankful we chose Di as our wedding photographer! Choosing a photographer was one of the more nerve-racking steps during our planning process. We really didn’t know where to start- we had attended several weddings, but were never really impressed with the photographers. We chose Di after getting a few recommendations and checking out a few places, and looking back it was the right call!

He did both our engagement shoot and our wedding start to finish, and did an outstanding job. We were hesitant going into our engagement shoot, as neither of us are really into photo shoots. We expected an awkward afternoon of taking pictures, but with Di at the helm, we walked away all smiles and couldn’t get over how much fun we had. Di has an incredible eye for great shots. He immediately got a feel for us and was able to direct and work with us to achieve shots that were beyond our expectations.

After the engagement shoot, we couldn’t wait for the wedding photos. Again, we were not disappointed! He got all the shots we asked for, and then some! We were really concerned since our entire wedding was going to be indoors, but again Di’s skill and experience impressed. He made the most of our venue, and found some really unique settings that led to some incredible shots.

Beyond the incredible photos, Di is also incredibly easy to work with and a total professional. He was easy to communicate with, promptly responding to any questions or concerns we had. We would recommend Di and Heartfelt to anyone looking to capture their wedding or special event in photos!

Di is an amazing photographer! His ability to capture the magic of every emotion and moment without intruding into the moment is sheer perfection. We hired Di as a photographer for our wedding and for our engagement shoot at Yankee Stadium! Even though our Engagement shoot was at such an iconic venue, he was still able to capture the playfulness and essence of who we are as a couple while still capturing the beauty of the stadium. On our wedding day, he knew exactly what to say to put all the nerves and excitement at ease and catch beautiful moments throughout the day. The rose garden which was the original location for our bridal portraits was affected by a cold weather spell, but Di came to the rescue! Across the street from our original locotion, Di spotted another location that was so much better. The pictures of myself and the groom alone on a tiny stone walkway in the middle of a pond were simply breathtaking and were some of our favorite moments of the day. On some of the most important events of your life, you are going to want someone who can think on their feet, be able to go with the flow, contend with many different personalities of all of the guests and family members, as well as capture every moment that they can without artificially manipulatiing the day- Di is definitely that person! I have the most amazing pictures to look back on to remind me of the happiest day of my life and I can't thank Di enough for capturing the beauty in every moment!

In 2010, we hired Di as our wedding photographer, and we couldn't have been happier with our selection. We had a destination wedding in New York City, and although we had some general ideas about what we wanted our wedding photos to look like, Di crafted some spectacular shots that we never would have got otherwise. On that day he was almost as much of a tour guide as a photographer, and his artistic talent behind the lens is perhaps even more appreciated now looking back. To say that Di is a fantastic wedding photographer is an understatement.

Di was professional, prepared, and an impromptu friend in the midst of the happy chaotic storm that was our wedding day. I am proud to show off the photographs he took that day- they are well composed, artistic and unique. But the thing that I appreciate the most about them is that they captured the spirit of the moment, in a way that I don't think any other photographer could.

Di Zhang and his staff were superb. From the moment my wife and I met Di, we know we had a "keeper". This guy is AMAZING! The first time my husband and I sat down with him he had us sold! He is super friendly and he makes you feel comfortable.
