Heather was absolutely amazing! I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup or is comfortable seeing myself glammed up and Heather made me feel at ease about this and gave me the PERFECT natural but elegantly bridal look for my makeup and hair. She was able to give my bridesmaids the looks they all wanted as well. The hair styles for everyone were so unique and beautiful. On the day of the wedding she was so easy to work with and really made the day fun and relaxing. -

Heather, Nikki, and jen we’re amazing. Heather planned it all and was very flexible with my not so amazing planning skills. Nikki did my makeup specifically for my wedding and she was so nice and calming. She listened to what I wanted and it turned out beautiful. My makeup even survived and storm and tears. Jen did some of my bridesmaids makeup and they all looked amazing. 10/10 -

Amazing experience!
I don't quite know where to begin in expressing my gratitude for Melissa (hair) & Nikki (makeup). These two without question were a major part in making my wedding day one of the best days of my life (very cliche, but true!).
To begin, I met with both of them a few weeks before the wedding to do a trial. Both listened to what I wanted and took my general ideas and turned them into something I never could have imagined myself. With extensive experience in not only the wedding industry but long-standing careers in their field, they took my vision and sprinkled it with their expertise, and the outcome truly was magic. The trial was a great way for me to know how the day of was going to go and to get to know them. When they arrived on the wedding day, it was like seeing old friends, which made it even better!
The day of was a whirlwind, but they both were incredible, arriving on time (very early morning- sorry!) and ready to hit the ground running. They jumped right in with my sisters, mom, and I and made the morning so much fun. They were efficient and did a wonderful job taking what my wedding party was thinking and turning it into beautiful looks. Melissa's hairstyles were amazing, perfectly styled to the dresses, and stayed all day long. Nikki's makeup seemed to bring out all the best parts of each girl's beauty and it too lasted all day. Finally my look- truly the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. I never knew I could look and feel so amazing, but still, look and feel like myself. The two of them just took out all the best parts of my style and gave me a look I will never forget.
I could go on and on about how amazing this team is. From the communication to the actual outcome. I am so thankful I found HD Hair and Makeups profile and I reached out. In a world of so much fluff, it's hard to weed out the real deal but I can honestly say this team is the real deal. Heather, Nikki & Melissa, thank you for making me feel like a movie star. It's a feeling I will never forget! -

High quality, professional, and very creative work
I was first introduced to Heather at my sister's wedding--she was hired to do makeup for my sister and two bridesmaids.
I loved her work so much that I kept her in mind for my own wedding, and it was beautiful. Heather and Nikki were very personable and took our wedding style to the expert level. I gave them some ideas for the updo and natural makeup I wanted, and completely blew me away. I trusted them with their professional opinions about what would look best, and I couldn't have imagined a better look for our bridal party. I very highly recommend HD Hair and Makeup for your event! -

Heather went above and beyond doing hair and makeup for a bride, officiant, MOB and 6 bridesmaids! Everyone got a different style and looked fantastic—plus she took getting ready photos for our group and gave us tips on our not to ruin makeup with tears and hide tissues in our bouquets! Wish I could get married again so I could have an excuse to look that good! -

Absolutely amazing
I eloped to Colorado from the east coast, and was selecting all of my vendors solely based on their portfolios, reviews, and my gut. I went with HD Hair and Makeup, and I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s definitely a little daunting to be making such an important decision without trial hair/makeup sessions, or meeting anyone in person in advance, but the entire experience went seamlessly. Melissa was my H/MU artist and she was absolutely lovely! She was punctual, friendly, had great communication with me months in advance as well as the day before/day of. From start to finish, the entire experience was professional and courteous. My wedding day could not have been more perfect, and I know I wouldn’t have felt as beautiful as I did had I gone with a different vendor. HD Hair and Makeup/Melissa KNOW what they are doing and are worth their weight in gold. I can’t say enough about them, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of hair and makeup services. -

Heather is AMAZING!! She was professional, kind, and really went above and beyond to make sure my bridal party and myself looked perfect on my wedding day! She really took the time to get to know me and figure out the exact look that I was wanting. She did my spray tan, makeup, hair, and eyelashes for my wedding day. She also did hair and makeup for the rest of my bridal party as well! Heather also gives the best advice since she’s seen and done it all! I would recommend her and her staff for anyone searching to have their dream look no matter the occasion! -

Amazing team! I decided to go with HD for two main reasons.
1) Heather runs an amazingly professional business. From our initial conversation, to planning the bridal party prep, to the bridal trial, it was evident Heather has loads of experience in this space, and she helped me create a schedule and a look that exceeded all my expectations. The other hair and makeup assistants who came to support my army of bridesmaids did amazing work. All extremely professional, friendly, and easy to work with.
2) HD's natural glam aesthetic - I had a mountain wedding and wanted to cultivate a look that was simply an elevated look that reflected the natural context of my venue (mountain top in the fall). Heather talked through the entire day with me and reviewed pictures of hair and makeup ideas in order to come up with a look that uniquely fit my vision. Could not have asked for a better partner in this process, and the final results were just stunning! -

Wow, I am so glad I went with Heather! Not only does she do an amazing job with hair and makeup, she went above and beyond to help me with other tasks as well! Super personable and sets up an amazing ambiance with great music, made sure I got something to eat, made sure I had time to steam my dress and helped me out with a spray tan crisis (spray tan done by a different vendor)! Hire Heather, you won’t regret it!! -

Couldn't have been happier with my wedding day hair/makeup
I couldn't have been happier with the hair and makeup Heather did for my wedding day. She did my hair/makeup along with my mom's and sister-in-laws. We were all very pleased. She not only paid attention to details and what I was wanting, she also took inspiration from my dress and flowers. I was between having my hair half up or all up, and she suggested doing it up as wind can really mess with it during pictures. At the time I that reasoning may be overkill as it hadn't been windy that day, but I was extremely grateful I listened when the wind was blowing as we took pictures with the photographer. I also would have never thought to use pink tones in my eyeshadow to pick up my bouquet, but I absolutely loved how it came out. Not only did she travel to Vail from Denver for my wedding hair and makeup she was on time, super professional, and I couldn't have been happier. A ton of hair/makeup people I spoke with that were based in Denver required to be put up overnight, which I thought was a bit of overkill as I needed to be ready by 2:30 pm. My makeup and hair lasted all night, and I was even able to stretch my wedding hair to our day after lunch the next day. I'd highly recommend HD Hair & Makeup after my experience and would use them again! Thanks for helping make me feel beautiful on my wedding day Heather! -

Best choice for wedding h&m
HD Hair & Makeup did a fabulous job on my wedding day! They did everything I wanted, made modifications I requested from my trial to make my look exactly my vision, and were professional and kind. I and all my wedding party was thrilled with their work and I’d hire them all over again 🤩 everyone book with them!!! Melissa is a makeup & hair master! -

I'm so happy that I chose HD Hair & Makeup for my mountain top elopement! Heather and Rilie made getting ready for my special day so easy! All I had to do was find a hairstyle and makeup look on Pinterest and Rilie made it happen. She even made my daughter's hair match mine perfectly! I definitely recommend HD Hair and Makeup to anyone that is getting married or eloping in CO :) -

I truly cannot express enough how much I loved working with Heather and her team. From the very beginning, Heather was so engaged on my wants for the wedding. She set up a call to go over everything with me and answer any questions that I had. Heather and her team showed up on time and were absolutely great throughout the entire day. They were engaged and friendly with everyone! We ran out of water while getting ready and Heather had water delivered to our room. She is absolutely wonderful. She even stayed later than the time scheduled to teach my maid of honor how to take the veil out of my hair without messing it up. Our wedding day was windy and everyone's hair stayed perfectly and out makeup lasted through the tears!
If you are looking for a hair and makeup artist, I would highly suggest using Heather and her team.
