Sarah is an exceptional photographer; so professional but also a joy to be around on your wedding day. We absolutely love the sneak peaks from our First Look that we got within a week of our wedding day. We also had the opportunity to do an engagement photo session months before our wedding day. She provides instruction when needed but also does a great job blending into the background so guests are not overly aware of her presence day of. She knew our venue very well and was able to recommend the best locations for certain times of day based on lighting. She also was highly adaptable and able to photograph flawlessly on a rainy day. We loved working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding photographer in the beautiful PNW. -

We had such a great experience working with Hazelwood Photo for our wedding. She was easy to communicate with, made everyone feel comfortable, and captured so many thoughtful moments of our family and guests. It is a a gift to have these moments captured in photos.
Her editing style is beautiful—she captures light and color so naturally, giving the photos a timeless, vibrant feel. We especially appreciated getting sneak peeks just days after the wedding—it was such a treat to relive those moments so soon.

Sarah was amazing to work with from the first phone call we had with her. She is super knowledgeable about weddings and was able to help us start to construct our timeline for the day and give us ideas of aspects to include. What I didn't think about when looking for a photographer is that you're going to spend your whole wedding day with them. I feel so lucky we worked with Sarah because she was CALM, kind, supportive, and we really felt like she was hyping us up (even in our more tired moments). We loved working with her before we even got our photos and now that we have our full gallery we are absolutely blown away. They are truly remarkable. We couldn't be happier! -

My husband and I got married on a very sunny day, peak sun, in a public setting, and with very few solid "plans" for the day aside from a timeline. Despite this, Sarah captured our ceremony perfectly and seemingly with ease.
The photos that she took perfectly captured how we felt in the moments they were taken. At first, we were a little awkward in front of the camera, but Sarah got us comfortable and was able to take the most gorgeous shots.
I have NEVER liked how I looked in candid photos. I was admittedly nervous about them, but wow was I blown away when we got them back. I have never felt more beautiful. You can see the love in every photo. I can recount the exact moment they were taken; every smile, giggle, cuddle, and laugh are forever immortalized by her work.
Sarah was professional, but made SURE that she got only the best shots. Whether that was arriving early to scout good spots, corralling guests for formal photos, or getting up on a stool to capture the scenic view, she was a force to be reckoned with (in the best way possible, of course.) It was an "elopement" with around 15 or so guests, and it was admittedly probably not the most organized of weddings! That didn't sway Sarah one bit. A few of our guests even commented on how great she was.
You will not be disappointed with Hazelwood Photography. -

Sarah is simply the best. I couldn’t imagine anyone else shooting my elopement! From the moment I reached out to her, she replied promptly and was super helpful! On our wedding day, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable, she was able to truly capture our relationship in such a beautiful way. Sarah was always so kind, caring, and supportive- I can’t recommend her enough! Her photos and galleries speak for themselves, they are phenomenal and so is the person behind the camera. -

Sarah was such a wonderful addition to our wedding day. She went above and beyond the duties of a photographer to help make our day perfect. She not only made planning easier by giving us suggestions and asking questions that we hadn't even considered in the planning process but she made our day run smoothly as well. She was graceful in wrangling our many family members for photos and helping us sneak away from the reception for photos of just my husband and me. We appreciated her professionalism throughout the process and her photos are GORGEOUS. We loved working with Sarah! -

Best Wedding Photographer Out There!
We had the opportunity to hire Sarah for our wedding and she went above and beyond. Not only was she the most organized person i've ever met, but she captured THE MOST perfect wedding photo settings and we couldn't thank her enough. Once seeing the photos after the wedding, we were shocked how absolutely stunning they were. If you want amazing photos to capture the most important day of your lives, you MUST hire Sarah. -

1000% would recommend!!
Sarah at Hazelwood was AMAZING! Sarah took the time to consult with me when I was shopping around for photographers for our wedding. We clicked and I loved the other photos of her work, so of course I picked her. She was great with phone calls and emails, always responded so quickly and was organized. On the day of, she was flexible when I added additional shot requests and was great with making sure we got the shots my husband and I wanted. As two people who don't love taking photos and are very awkward, she was SO great at making us feel at ease and getting us to laugh, relax, and have fun. Our photos turned out incredible! There were so many photos of every aspect from our special day, she truly did capture amazing little moments that are so fitting for our relationship, friendships, and family. Seriously, I could not recommend her enough! -

Sarah is incredible! She is so talented and truly captures the special moments of whatever occasion she is photographing. I knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding when I saw her work and when we spoke on the phone the first time, I knew she was the perfect match. She is so friendly and a joy to work with. Sarah’s work speaks for itself! Her photos are beyond gorgeous, you’ll love every single shot! Her work isn’t overly posed and she makes the whole experience extremely comfortable. We had her shoot our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be more pleased. Everyone has told us they’re the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. I love the deep tones she uses and they have such a romantic feel to them. She took perfect golden hour photos of us on a dock during sunset at our wedding and the red sun coming through the trees that she caught is unreal. She also drove to Silverton with us (an hour and a half drive) for our engagement photos and we were able to get stunning photos in front of waterfalls and then changed outfits for a more relaxed shoot with a picnic blanket. I look through our photos all of the time and love them more and more each time. Her style is timeless and I know I’ll love them just as much 50+ years from now. Do yourself a favor and stop your endless search because you’ve found the perfect photographer! -

We are so in love with the photos taken by Hazelwood Photo! She was one of the first vendors that I booked, and for good reason. At our first appointment she guided me through a checklist to prepare for the coming months and even wrote up rough timeline for the wedding date so I had an idea of how to move forward. The pictures were beyond we we could have hoped for, and she made the whole process easy and seamless. My husband and I both commented that we don't even remember her being around during the reception, but yet she managed to get a ton of photos of each and every memorable moment of the evening- now that is a sign of a good wedding photographer. I highly recommend Hazelwood Photo! You will absolutely revel in the magic of each and every capture from the big day! -
