Aly is such a talented photographer and can get the best angles and shots in the redwoods. She knows just how to make you actually stand out amongst these tall and gorgeous trees. Beyond being talented, she is kind, patient and so helpful with the overall process, that I don't think there's a question she can't answer! She took my bumbling through questions with grace and that didn't stop throughout the year of planning. She is very good at keeping it real with you so that you always know what to expect in terms of her time, help or gallery delivery. She also has some trusty lanterns and clear umbrellas should your day be cloudier or rainier than expected!
Day of, she gets right to business moments after arriving and assessing the scene. She has a great eye for detail and we brought some things, like our cats first collar, that didn't really fit in necessarily but she created some creative and cute shots that I adore. She was very good at sticking to the timeline we had worked on together and float between the groom and bride side of things and kept us on track for our first look. She was also super flexible when we had permit issues the week before the wedding and helped us navigate and find an alternate location that would accommodate our larger party. She was also super down to get a little wet and dirty to get some beautiful shots in Fern Canyon for me.
Our gallery was full of beautiful and high quality photos, thanks to Aly's attentive eye and passion for delivering exceptional moments. You truly cannot go wrong with her and I cannot wait for another major life milestone to hire her again!

There aren't many words to be able to describe how amazing my experience working with Aly was. From the moment I first called her to inquire about her taking my wedding photos, we really clicked. She is so down to earth and kind, and you immediately pick up on this when you start talking with her. Not only does she have an amazing personality, she takes the most breath-taking photos. I don't know how she does it, but she is able to capture the beauty of the scenery around you, while also focusing on you as a couple. One look at her portfolio and you'll see for yourself. If she has availability, don't wait. Hire her! -

Aly was incredible! We were super worried that we would be awkward in front of the camera, but Aly made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. We absolutely LOVE our engagement and wedding pictures! -

Amazing Pictures!
We booked Hazel Eye Photography with Aly for a last-minute elopement shoot. Our original wedding day was canceled due to the pandemic. We still wanted to commemorate our special day, so we took a road-trip and stopped in Oregon for our elopement. It was one of the best decisions we made!!!!!
Aly is extremely friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. She was very responsive to our questions, and even gave us tips about our road-trip through Oregon. She met with us and helped capture our special day. We wanted an outdoor photoshoot to capture the Redwoods and Oregon coast, and she was able to select great locations for us.
We were blown away by the pictures!!!! Aly was amazing at putting us at ease and capturing our emotions. She did help with some instructions and posing us, but the candid pictures she took were incredible! She was able to highlight our joy and fun sides with the pictures, and truly made that day one of the most memorable days we will have.
We now have her photos blown up on acrylic canvases in our home, and cannot be happier! Aly is truly talented at what she does, and her personality made us feel like we were working with a longtime friend.
We highly recommend Aly and Hazel Eye Photography, and hope that we will get another chance to work with her in the future.

Best photography experience! Highly recommended!!
Aly was truly amazing at our wedding, we are so grateful to have met her and worked with her! First off she was super flexible. We had some unforeseen events happen to where we ended up changing our wedding date and only had a couple weeks to find a photographer. When I called Aly she was so sweet and understanding and ready to help however she could! Aly is also extremely gifted with photography she was so thoughtful with every picture she took some of my favorite pictures were from the ceremony and she got every single angle and somehow I didn’t even see her once, she is truly gifted! Because of our budget we could only have her for 2 hours which I’m pretty sure she went over by an hour! We ended up with over 300 beautiful pictures! I %100 recommend Aly for any occasion and I will definitely be working with her again! Seriously, Book her for your special moments you won’t regret it!!! -

Aly photographed our Central Oregon wedding in October 2019 and our son's senior photos for 2020. We loved having Aly capture our special moments and we will use her in the future, hands down. She was easy to communicate with and her contracts were straightforward. Aly understood the things important to us and captured it well on our wedding day. Her presence at our wedding was subtle and she was personable with our guests and family, coordinating everyone smoothly and efficiently. I hired Aly for my wedding and boudoir session in the fall of 2017. She is an absolutely incredible photographer and I feel so thankful she was able to capture the most important details of our wedding day. She is concise, flexible, and creative when shooting. She arrived to our venue early and even drove to the beach for our portraits. I love her as a photographer and a person, she is truly the whole package! Aly will capture all of your images with care and originality. We love our images and are thankful we have such a wonderful heirloom to keep forever. -

Aly did our wedding photography back in June and our photos have exceeded all of my hopes and dreams! I remember the process of picking a photographer felt sooo overwhelming between all the different styles and price ranges, especially since we had a destination wedding and I needed to pick a photographer local to the area since paying for a vendor to travel was out of our budget. But that meant picking someone without ever meeting them in person! I must have spoken to at least a dozen different photographers before I found Aly (Hazel Eye Photography) on wedding wire, but as soon as we had our first phone conversation I knew she was the one! She understood my vision right away, she was easy to talk to and very relaxing even as I drug her through my long list of every question the internet had suggested I ask a photographer. Once the decision was made the support continued. We spoke again a number of times as the wedding got closer, refining details, going over shot lists to estimate how much time was needed in the schedule. Aly always made me feel included in the decision making process and treated me as if I actually understood what was going on.
The day of the wedding she was timely and well prepared and got right to work. She captured so many sweet little details that I would never have thought to ask for as well as all of the shots I had requested in advance. We absolutely love our photos as well as the beautiful keepsake box of prints and fancy rose gold USB they were delivered on. Which, by the way, was a free upgrade as a bonus when there was an unavoidable delay in delivery. Above and beyond customer service to make me feel good leading up to the big day and even afterwards when navigating a few small hiccups that were beyond anyone’s control.
I would definitely recommend Aly to anyone wanting dreamy, fairytale wedding photos, especially if you share my love of those atmospheric little detail shots that accompany all the traditional ones. -
