I'm the MOB for a wedding that was just held at the Hayloft in October of 2023. My daughter and son-in-law are service members stationed on the West Coast and I am local. The Hayloft was very accommodating in every way they could be to help us plan with the two most important people being so far away. We had a boutique wedding and it was perfect. They understood my daughter's vision and did a great job pulling it all together for us. Complete pros. We are very satisfied with our experience and highly recommend! Jeni and all of her staff were wonderful to work with:) -

We had our wedding at Hayloft in the Grove on 7/15/23. When I say that you cannot go wrong with this team, I really mean it. From the day we signed our contract with them, it felt like they were right there with us with all the planning. Special thank you to Meaghan and Jeni!! They are both the sweetest and most attentive gals. They both have such a great eye for design. The whole team made the day run so smoothly. I truly have no idea if I even had any hiccups during the whole day because if there were any hiccups, they took care of it all without question.
I would definitely rent the golf cart if you can. It was not that much money and made it much easier for our older family members. The grounds are so beautiful but it can be tough to get around if you have mobility issues.
Definitely get on that hayride if you can, an absolute BLAST!
If you can do it, I would 100 % rent the cottage on the property (on VRBO) for the whole weekend. The cottage is so sweet, but it made everything so much easier because we had it there as a home base. We had the grooms party stay there all weekend and the bridal party stayed at an airbnb about 15 min away. We had a small rehearsal dinner at the cottage on Friday which made it all so easy, and there is the beautiful flower mural to take pics at during rehearsal.
5 stars overall, I cannot recommend the whole crew more! -

Could not have been happier. You're getting some much more than just a beautiful venue. Jeni (owner) and her team are amazingly well organized and thorough. They patiently helped us through everything from the day of timeline, vendor recommendations, décor personalizations, planning, seating layouts, etc. Even multiple vendors commented on how much they like doing weddings at Hayloft, because they know everything is going to go smoothly.
The grounds are gorgeous all year long. From our initial visit to the many subsequent planning meetings to the day of, seemed like every flowerbed was in bloom. The barn and stables are cozy and inviting, along with the amazing outdoor space/patios/pergolas. Can't recommend them enough.
All our guests commented later about how great the venue was. Everything was perfect. We had looked at a few other venues, but they all felt more commercial, or intrusive/not private. You have the whole grounds and don't have to worry about random golfers going by, or noise from an adjacent banquet hall. -

Wedding 2022
The Hayloft at The Grove was the perfect venue for my son and daughter in laws wedding this past August 2022. The staff was very accommodating and their expertise in the wedding industry made for the perfect day. Jeni and her staff were always available to answer any questions and were readily available the day of the wedding to make sure things ran smoothly.
I would highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting a rustic theme to their day. You also need to check out their “Pinterest” room, everything and anything is available for you to make your theme come true. -

Daniel Sent on 08/03/2022The Most Amazing Day Of Our Lives, Thanks To The Most Incredible People
My wife and I had our wedding here a little less than two weeks ago and we are still in absolute awe of our entire experience with Hayloft. From the beginning of our engagement in 2020 until the day itself, Jeni and her team made planning our day so simple and made us feel so comfortable. We would come into a planning meeting with a million questions and they would all be answered before we even had the chance to ask them!
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We were lucky enough to have the perfect weather for our day so that all of the features could be utilized (horseshoes, cornhole, etc.), but even if we had bad weather I think we would have enjoyed our time just as much. The barn is so spacious that dinner and dancing never felt cramped, and the whole team kept everything gorgeous throughout the night. All options for vendors that Jeni provides (florists, caterers, etc.) are trusted companies that Hayloft has worked with in the past, and it makes such a big difference in how smooth the day runs.
We already miss Jeni, Alyssa & the whole Hayloft team SO much and could not be more thankful for helping us create the perfect day! We also recommend renting the cottage for the nights before and after the wedding. The minimal travel made everything so much easier. We started our marriage on the most amazing note, and we can't wait to come back and visit!

Beautiful Venue
This venue was so beautiful in its own way we barley had to decorate due to its own rustic settings. The owner Jeni was a pleasure to work with. Not only did she own the venue but she acted as a wedding planner as well and had any and everything covered. She created a time sheet for the big day to make sure everything and everyone stayed on track. -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about HayLoft!
Listen, planning a wedding is a task in and of itself- add in a global pandemic, and it feels almost impossible. Jeni and the rest of the HayLoft staff made it so much easier for us! They were always helpful, had so many great suggestions (I say as a person who is indecisive at times) and the grounds are so beautiful. There are so many different places to take beautiful photos, and all of our guests enjoyed the outdoor area with games, plenty of seating, and the bar! They were so professional and not too pushy, and I think that is so important when planning an event as big as your wedding day! My husband and I got engaged early 2020, and with all of the changes and constant back-and-forth correspondence, the ladies didn't miss a beat! I am constantly telling everyone who asks how perfect our wedding was, from the rehearsal to the very last minute we left. We rented the cottage for the night before and the night of, and I highly recommend doing that if possible. It was great to have some extra time to set up and somewhere close by to get ready. They do such a great job with cleaning and the cottage was such a perfect homey place to be. My husband and his groomsmen got ready in the man cave and they also still talk about how fun it was! We had such a great experience all around, and I would recommend HayLoft to anyone who is looking there. I always knew I wanted to get married in a barn setting and this was perfect! -

Amazing!!!
I had my wedding at hayloft in the grove on 9/19/21. I couldn’t have picked a better wedding venue! I was a covid bride and they worked with me through everything! Jeni (the owner) even picked flowers from her garden when my florist forgot my flowers! If your looking for the perfect rustic wedding venue this is it!! -

Our Dream Day Come True!
Our wedding day was exactly what we pictured thanks to the help of Jeni and her staff at the Hayloft in the Grove. They listen to your ideas and work hard to make those dreams a reality. They are extremely responsive and are there for you during the entire planning process, offering guidance and support.
Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue is and loved the indoor/outdoor space at the barn. Jeni and her husband have done a phenomenal job with the property, making it a space that is perfect for your special day and somewhere your guests will never forget.
We can't thank Jeni and her staff enough for all their help making the planning of our big day as least stressful as possible. We would highly recommend the Hayloft in the Grove to everyone for your special day! -

We were scheduled to marry during Covid and thought our day was lost. Jeni and team treated us like family. They helped us to reschedule for the following year but that wasn’t what made them so amazing. She still let us use the original day to do much more private and allowable ceremony. We were able to have family there with us, the photographer to do our photos, she helped fix a last minute flower change that was important to me, decorated the stables beautifully for the ceremony, handled the ceremony details, allowed us to do a practice the night before ALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. She was honoring all that we ordered for our 1 yr party that we rescheduled- but she wanted to make our day still beautiful. I can’t tell you what that meant. She and Jason are just like that- caring, personal, dedicated and honest. Our day was so beautiful and made possible during a difficult time for many. The grounds are breathless, the barn so unique and beautiful, the cottage to get ready was perfect- but the family feeling we experienced was what makes them above all others. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. Thank you Hayloft for our perfect day. -

It is an understatement to say that Jeni, Sandy and the hayloft crew went above and beyond for our wedding.
Jeni kept in Constant contact with us and even helped us advert an almost disaster for our reception.
They are extremely knowledgeable, flexible , and organized. Every single time I talked to Jeni she was straightforward and told us the truth about NYS changes due to Covid-19. She did not try and beat around the bush or tell us half truths to keep our deposit.
When my wife was having anxiety over wedding planning and day of the wedding stress. Jeni made up code words for the two of them so they could communicate about any fears the day of. THAT alone should give them a gold medal for doing everything they could to make sure the day of was absolutely perfect.
We loved every second there, I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone looking to get married or get their vows renewed . If we ever decide to, this will be our first choice.
Our only regret would have to be that we only had our ceremony there. If we could start over we would have had our reception there as well.
The grounds are beautiful, if you love nature and a more natural look. Go here. You will not be disappointed. -

Words cannot begin to describe how perfect our wedding and planning process went with the help of HayLoft in the Grove and their amazing staff. First off, my now wife and I took a tour of the property in July 2018 and at that time, we knew going in that we probably could not afford our wedding at this property just due to what it presented from the very beginning. First off, we were way wrong! The pricing is very competitive for venues of the similar rustic/chic vibe, however, the service and family like environment is what sets the HayLoft apart from the other options. We first met with Liane (wedding planner) and Jeni (owner of the HayLoft), we knew right away that we wanted to have our wedding at this property because of not only these two, but also Alyssa (wedding coordinator) and Jason (Jeni’s husband). They gave us a very thorough tour of all areas of the property and what they could offer us. We planned our wedding for 11/2/19 and while this was far from our tour date, it worked out so perfect as we were now able to spend a lot of time planning and saving to make it a perfect day. We opted for the full-service wedding coordination package which is a must if you are planning a wedding here, it allows you to stop in and coordinate as many times as you want. Jeni and Liane were also extremely prompt with responding to email inquiries and setting up appointments to come in. They also coordinated the entire wedding ceremony and reception to ensure everything ran smoothly and were on top of everything throughout the entire day! We adored the Pinterest room downstairs as well! We added so many of the HayLoft decorations to make our day complete and they have so many different items of décor to match any theme or idea you are going for at a much lower cost than purchasing yourself. In general, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding and it was because of the hard work and passion that Jeni, Jason, Alyssa and Liane put into making this our fairytale day. They are truly an amazing crew and you can tell that they WANT to do weddings. We also got very lucky and had 3 seasons in one day at perfect timing! Sunshine and a nice breeze in the morning, light rain in the afternoon right after our first look photos and formals through the early evening and then we finished off with the first snowfall of the Buffalo season! Along with our wedding day being at the HayLoft, obviously the rehearsal was held on site the day before and we also opted to rent the awesome cottage that is on property so we could provide dinner to our family and guests following rehearsal. This also allowed a convenient option for wedding party / guests to spend the night on property following the reception.
If you are looking for a rustic/chic barn themed wedding with amazing coordinators that truly care, please check out the HayLoft in the Grove, you will not be disappointed.

HayLoft in the grove truly made our dreams come true on our wedding day.
The owner Jeni and her husband were absolutely amazing to work with. They were accommodating, kind and truly just wanted to just give us the perfect day.
Liane, one of the wedding planners was amazing! I truly had minimal stress throughout the entire wedding process because if I had any questions or concerns Liane or Jeni always had a answer or solution. I was confident that I didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding, they had everything already covered.
The venue is stunning, I wouldn’t change a thing. We did all of our photos on the grounds. The new chapel that they built this year is gorgeous. We always wanted an outdoor wedding but when we saw the chapel we couldn’t turn it down. All guest loved the venue. It was perfect for people who wanted to hangout and chat or dance all night. 7/20/19 was our wedding day and it was the hottest day of the year this far but
they went out of there way to make it comfortable and it worked! (Many fans, dehumidifiers and lots of waters out and available to all guests) There is air conditioning where you have dinner and in the restrooms!
There is a beautiful pond on the property that you can do your first look at and wedding party photos. There are so many options for gorgeous photos! We LOVED this venue! I can’t speak any more highly about our wedding day at the hayloft! -

The Hayloft let us have the wedding of our absolute dreams. First of all, the ambiance and atmosphere of the barn itself made for a beautiful night that all of my friends and family were in awe of. They just recently opened up their renovated horse stables for an alternate ceremony space that we chose to get married in, even though it was a nice an sunny day and we got sooo many compliments at how unique and fun the ceremony was because of it. Now onto Liane and Jeni - they are the absolute BEST! I couldn't imagine anyone better for the job than Liane when it came to coordinating everything. From start to finish she was so kind, fun, informative, knowledgable and helpful. Planning our wedding was so smooth because of her and on the wedding day (and rehearsal) her and Jeni took care of EVERYTHING! They really ensure that the bride, groom and their families don't have to worry about a single thing on their special day and it really is appreciated when your day finally comes. I am still in awe about how awesome our wedding day was because of the Hayloft and feel so lucky we got to call it ours for the night! -

All of the amentities that are offered with the barn such as, the staff that help you every step of the way, the main house to get ready, a cottage to stay in overnight, the restroom trailers, and the beautiful town of East Aurora that is just a mile away made the whole weekend bliss! I could not have picked a more romantic yet at home place to get married! -

The team at the Hayloft helps you through all your planning and are the most supportive the day of, handling every little thing so you and your family don't have to think about anything! They are professional and so friendly and all their experience helps tremendously. The checklist they use to help you prepare will help you tackle details you didn't even think of! They met with us often, answered emails timely and gave us a lot of ideas to tackle things without breaking the budget. The grounds and barn are beautiful and the bathrooms stayed clean until the very last minute. They are the A TEAM. Hope to get to work with them again and will definitely be recommending to others. -

Everyone at the HayLoft made planning a wedding from 400 miles away a piece of cake! I really appreciated how they were available by phone and made it easy to meet in person when I was in Buffalo. Their list of vendors is spectacular and everyone we booked through them went above and beyond!
Liane (our wedding planner) understood our vision for the day and made it happen. She was able to easily and confidently answer questions I had or fill in the blanks for details I didn’t anticipate. Her expertise and organization kept me at ease that everything would go smoothly!
I was thrilled with the full-service coordination. Only having to drop off and pick up the wedding items was a dream come true-believe me, you will want to not worry about any of it! The playbook they provide is so detailed-it is like a breath of fresh air in the midst of all the planning chaos! Jeni, Liane, and staff took what table décor I had brought and set it up in a way that was EVEN BETTER than I could have imagined. They truly have an eye and talent for making everything come together perfectly!
On the day of the wedding, Jeni and Jason (the owners) felt like family. It meant the world to us that they interacted with friends and family, especially with my grandma who has since passed. Jeni even watered my potted plant centerpieces to keep them alive for the wedding!
If none of the above convinces you to have your wedding there, just take a look at the photos. The grounds (and our wedding day photos) are absolutely gorgeous! You can tell how much care goes into making it look fabulous. Our guests had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors, playing games on the lawn, and dancing in the beautiful barn. They have everything you could ever want for your wedding day and then some…and they are constantly adding more wonderful things like the beautiful wood outdoor trellis and indoor ceremony space so that you don’t have to worry about anything!
I was so happy with our wedding! Thank you Jeni, Jason, Liane, and staff for a wedding that everyone enjoyed and that we will cherish always!

Nancy Sent on 08/19/2018Let me start by saying this venue is stunning, from the barn to the grounds, everything is beautiful! The best part of the Hayloft is it’s location! We toured quite a few other barn venues, which were also beautiful, but were in the middle of no where making hotel accommodations, travel and having an after party quite difficult. Not with the Hayloft! It is literally in the perfect location only being 3 miles away from East Aurora. We worked with Jeni and Liane the most. Getting the day of coordination is a must! They handled so many details for us on the day of so that myself and my mother didn’t have to worry about anything. They also were very organized at the rehearsal and managed to calm me down when our officiant didn’t show!
The best way to get a hold of them if you want a quick response would probably be via phone, as they are a little slow to answer their emails. It was one of the more expensive venues we looked at to rent, but you get what you pay for and I don’t regret it! We had so many compliments from our guests and it truly was an amazing day! -

Stunning venue!!
Our wedding was so magical at the Hayloft!! This venue is absolutely beautiful and allows for you to truly make it your own. The staff was fantastic throughout the entire day and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! They are highly organized and it went flawlessly. It is such a unique venue and has a really laid back feel. Would recommend to any couple looking for that rustic feel. We received several compliments (even from the caterer). Lots of guests said it was “one of the best weddings they’d ever been to.”
We stayed at the cottage on the premise during our wedding weekend and it was SO nice. This is a property that is rented out throughout the year, but also an option for brides and grooms to book. It is quaint with really comfy beds and a gorgeous bathroom for the bridal party to get ready in. My only suggestion would be for there to be some type of discount for those who are already having their wedding at the Hayloft. In my opinion it was pretty expensive, but even in hindsight I would’ve still rented it because it was too hard to pass up! -

My husband and I were in awe over this wedding venue when we booked. It is a beautiful barn venue with multiple areas for a ceremony, hayride, onsite airbnb and suit for men to get ready! We were thrilled with our choice and despite the problems we faced at our wedding, we are happy with the beauty of the location and the ceremony.
We had SIGNIFICANT issues with the way our reception played out. Right after the ceremony, the skies opened up and it rained hard for about 30 minutes. The power went out around 3:45. We were stressed, but saw the employees setting up a generator so we just continued taking our pictures. The first problem we noticed was that our guests were opening up the provided umbrellas to use (ceremony space, bathrooms and reception space all require you to go outside) to find many of the broken and unusable. The generator was up and running for dinner time. As people began walking up to get their dinner from the buffet, the generator went out again. We were all in the basement of this barn with no light. Luckily, our decor included some candles, however, it was DARK. The caterers and bartenders really did an amazing job with dinner, especially for people in attendance that are visually impaired. At this time, my husband and I were STRESSED. Jeni, the owner, came to us when dinner was almost complete, and told us that “This is a disaster”. I was SHOCKED that she would say that to us. At this point, we were so stressed and frustrated over the lack of power and the interaction with the owner that we left and went for a walk. The rest of the wedding, in our perspective, went smoothly from our perspective. The light came on about 7:30, about 3 hours after the power went out.
Our big frustration with Hayloft came from what we heard after the wedding.
No running water in the bathrooms - guests were unable to flush the toilets or wash their hands. I guess there were water bottles in the bathroom for guests to pour into the toilets to make them flush, but no one really knew that. I am shocked that they do not have a generator for the bathroom, considering they are run on power and the only option for guests to use.
We only got to partially use the Photobooth due to power. We paid for 6 hours of use, but due to power, only got about 3 hours. We also paid about $600 total for coffee/tea, which was only available for a short amount of time due to the power.
Unprofessional behavior from the staff - My mom told me that at one point, the owner came to her sobbing over the power. She also came to my MIL and said “You probably hate me, don’t you”. She told my DJ that she was worried that we were going to sue her. Not ONCE did we get an apology for the way our reception went. No offer of compensation.
While Hayloft has weddings every weekend, this was our only wedding day. It costs $12k just to use the grounds for your wedding - for that amount of money, there NEEDS to be a backup plan for situations like this. I understand that the power outage was out of anyone’s control, but a wedding venue has control over their level of preparedness, back up plans and professionalism. I am very disappointed with our experience and would not recommend this venue to another couple.

I would like to start out by saying that this place is absolutely stunning and you will end up with gorgeous photos. With that being said I really can’t say anything else positive about this place. I thought that we made the best choice by choosing hayloft, and thought they fit our vision completely. They proved me wrong! I paid for full service coordination and every time I emailed Liane I would have to do a follow up to get a response or make a follow up phone call which is increasingly frustrating having two young children and a full-time job trying to plan a wedding. Aside from the lack of attention I will tell you that everything seem to be going great up until they were paid in full. At this time attitudes changed, we seemed like we were a bother to them. I should note we ask Liane directly about other negative reviews that were brought to our attention and they assured us that this was a fluke and it was more on the guests and bridal party and not them. They also told us that nothing like this would happen which was polar opposite from the truth. Starting when we dropped off our decorations the day prior we were surprised to see that the outside furniture and pergolas were being broken down (wasn’t supposed to happen), to day of liane yelling at my bridesmaids over making mimosas, trying to boss my photographer around, shoving my flower girl (my daughter) and ring bearer in a back room during my ceremony (its my daughter, I wanted her there!!!), taking people’s drinks and dumping them, not providing golf cart services that we had to pay extra for specifically for elderly guests (one actually fell off the bathroom trailer due to this), closing handicap bathroom stall for no reason, my table numbers were all mixed up and guests were scattered (my in laws were in the center of the room), my cupcakes were places out prior to cake cutting and I never had a chance to see them let along get one (email was sent the day prior to event with specific instructions to not place out until after cake was cut), liane told my babysitter, “ oh good you are getting the kids out of here before their mother can embarrass them anymore”, and liane postponed my first dances because she “felt I was too intoxicated”. These people charge a hefty price for services they don’t render if you deviate from their vision, and are extremely difficult to work with. Lastly I would like to note we rented the cottage which is a house in front of the venue and both Liane and Jeni took it upon themselves to enter this house numerous times and they threw away food that they had no business even touching. Jeni did reimburse Liane’s full service coordinating fee, however this doesn’t change my wedding day or make it any better. I trusted these people with one of the most important days of my life and they ruined much of my experience. Many more events took place that upset me, but these were the highlights. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT choose this venue and go with one that you won’t just be a number and up charged for every little thing! -
