Stress free
Hayfields, specifically Brittany, provided us with so much guidance and support, she’s truly incredible. She provided us with several vendor recommendations that ended up being our favorite.
It was beautiful, and we had the wedding of our dreams (also everybody still talks about the amazing food). Worth every penny. -

WOW, where do I begin?! I have a full rundown for all the brides looking to book their wedding at Hayfields Country Club, but let me start here 10/10 EXPERIENCE!!! Look no further! Let me break it down for you...
STELLAR VENUE EVENT MANAGER - BRITTANY <3
I am a wedding planner myself with my own business, so being the bride and wedding planner I can confidently say that I was able to take off the "wedding planner hat" and allow myself to be a bride. I was only able to do that BECAUSE of Brittany!! Brittany is fabulous, she will go above and beyond for you, and she knows her s***!!!! Anytime you sit down with Brittany, she will come to the table with ideas and solutions, making the whole experience feel custom. As a professional in the industry, I can assure you that Brittany is the best it gets. You will be able to fully trust her, build a friendship with her, your vendors will love her because she is so organized and proactive, and you can enjoy your day knowing you are in great hands.
TOP NOTCH FOOD AND BEVERAGE
All of our guests RAVED about the food and cocktails! To be totally honest, I was a little nervous prior to the tasting because I had not tried the food yet - but I can assure you that the chef at Hayfields is awesome. Brittany even suggested a custom summer salad that was one of my favorite parts of the menu! Some more of our favorites were the bacon wrapped scallops, the crab dip, the steak and cake entree (with old bay aioli!!) the sundae bar....
For our signature cocktails, my husband chose a standard old fashion, but I was in between an espresso martini and a watermelon margarita. There was an upcharge for the watermelon but it is SOOO worth it! All of our guests were drinking it. We also had "The Normand" which was a mocktail named after our golden retriever. Brittany was so helpful in creating these recipes!
CUSTOMIZED SET UP
What I love about Hayfields is the ability to customize the space according to your needs. Side note, the venue has just freshly renovated some parts of their space - a fresh dance floor, beautiful new carpets and banquet chairs, freshly painted walls, a fully renovated bridal suite.... We got married outside, with cocktail hour on the terrace, and reception inside. I recommend utilizing the inside house area for cocktail hour instead of the terrace - it has a historical charm that is unmatched! Hayfields provides all of the basic rental needs, unless you want to outsource for specialty flatware/chargers/lounge seating - which is what we did and it really elevated the tablescape!

We booked Hayfields at the last minute after our original venue cancelled on us just months before our wedding day. We were initially panicked at needing to replan at the last minute, but our Hayfields wedding ended up being more beautiful than we could have hoped. Brittany (the event manager) was exceedingly attentive and responsive over both email and phone, no matter how busy she was, and met with us several times to help us customize the food, the ceremony and reception setup, and even the drinks – she worked with the bar manager to help us create a signature cocktail with house made lemonade and a flavored simple syrup that was tailored to our tastes exactly (several guests asked us afterwards for the recipe!). The grounds are so beautifully maintained that we did not need any additional decorations for the ceremony, and so many guests commented on how gorgeous the space was. We were so impressed by how friendly and flexible the entire Hayfields team was, and highly recommend Hayfields to anyone looking for a venue space.Hayfields Country Club's reply:

The team at Hayfields will make your special event all that you desire. They worked closely with us throughout the early planning stages as well as helping with the finer details as the event date approached. They were always available for advice and support to assist with most anything necessary to ensure our day was what we envisioned. The day of the event their team was ready early and prepared to assist with any last minute issues that arose. The entire team at Hayfields are top-tier professionals that take pride in delivering the highest standard in event planning and management. -

Beautiful Landscape and Elegant Setting
I booked Hayfields for my wedding and I couldn't have been any happier with the decision. I was becoming very frustrated with venue searching as all of the venues in the area wanted to charge almost double to do a Saturday wedding or had minimum requirements. When I found Hayfields I fell in love! The scenery is gorgeous, the space was perfect, the food was delicious and they were very helpful and accommodating. Their prices were very affordable and fair. They made adjustments for me on request without added costs. My day was amazing! The only thing I might add as a suggestion to future brides is that the chairs are very noticeable so I bought chair covers. Otherwise I loved the space! All of my guests commented on the outside space and how pretty the venue was. I only wish that they had a build in option to add on extra time. The venue came with 5 hours which is more than most other venues but I wish I could have added on an extra hour or 2. The night fly's by so fast and I just wish I had more time. -

Hayfields was an amazing venue- not only was it gorgeous, but the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times! I can't say enough wonderful things about Mary B, who was our primary point of contact. The food was amazing, the staff the day of was friendly and efficient and overall was very reasonably priced. Couldn't be happier- even though it rained, I would still say it was the perfect day!Hayfields Country Club's reply:

Hayfields is the best!
Hayfields was such an amazing venue- we were looking for an indoor-outdoor venue with beautiful views/nature and one that was also lovely inside. Hayfields fit all of these and so much more! Guests loved the outdoor patio for the cocktail hour- they even have a bocce court not too far from the ballroom! The happy hour foods were delicious. Dinner was also excellent.
Mary B is absolutely amazing- she is the nicest and she gets so excited for your big day- she helped make the process leading up to the wedding as well as being the day of coordinator go smoothly. She let us decorate the ballroom and helped out too- she went above and beyond! It helped calm my mom's nerves knowing that she was there because we knew she could handle any issues that could arise.
The venue also has a wonderful rainy day back-up plan- cocktail hour in the historic mansion is also a lovely setting. Having an awesome rain back-up plan made one less thing for us to worry about.
Parking is easy- cars can be left overnight and there's a free shuttle from the Hunt Valley hotels to the venue. I think we had close to the maximum number of guests allowed and we didn't feel overcrowded at all.Hayfields Country Club's reply:

Carly Sent on 08/07/2018Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! The entire wedding planning process was less stressful due to the flexibility, responsiveness, and knowledge of the staff at Hayfields. Our wedding was a month ago and we are still getting compliments about the delicious food, beautiful venue, and attentive staff. I would 100% recommend Hayfields to others and wish I could relive my special day!
