Marie is simply Amazing! Not only is Marie ridiculously organized, she is extremely genuine, caring, and the loveliest soul you could meet. Her presence made every difference to me before and after wedding. If you are looking for someone to assist with planning your special day big or small, I honestly cannot recommend Marie highly enough. Thank you Thank you❤️ -

Working with Marie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are from out of state and needed every bit of help we could get to put together vendors and make our wedding come together. Right away we loved that she was willing to answer some questions on how her process worked and what it would be like to work with her and she was very professional about it. Her connections and previous experience working with so many vendors help us find which ones worked best for us and in our budget. She was able to reach out to them and handle a lot of the communication for us which we appreciated so much as we were in a different time zone and it was hard to start those conversations. She worked with us and met with us whenever we needed it and made us feel prepared and comfortable for our big day. Our day was absolutely wonderful and everything I wanted! She helped keep us on track and make sure everyone knew where to be and when, at one point in the day she was checking in with me and ended up sending out her jr assistant to get me a snack because I hadn't eaten since breakfast and was feeling it. And at the end of the night she made sure everything was in order so we could get back to our hotel and get some rest. Hashtag Events and Marie were such a wonderful addition to our day and we are so grateful for all the work she put in. -

Marie, is a kind person who is willing to go the extra mile for any of her couples. She is flexible and knows how to do her job well. She also makes sure her clients are taken care of, all the way through until the last guest leaves for the night. -

Marie was an excellent wedding planner. She worked with our complex wedding coordinating with us when Lisa was in CA and I am in WI. We could not have done such a complex event with nearly 200 attendees during a COVID-19 year without her expertise. Well worth the money 👍. We chose Marie because she also coordinated my nieces wedding. -

Marie was the best decision I ever made for my wedding! Not only is she so great to work with, I feel like I gained a friend along the way. I hired her for day of coordination and we met many times before my wedding to make sure everything was on track. And the day of my wedding- I didn’t worry about a thing. Everything went on perfectly and I know it was because of her. I should add my wedding happened during COVID, so double the stress, and Marie was there for every change and annoying thing I wanted done. Hands down worth every penny and more. Thank you Marie!!! ❤️ -

Marie and I became friends through her being my wedding planner. She helped me plan my wedding DURING COVID! I lost my mind and she found it! She was so flexible and Extremely helpful.
Before covid hit, I thought I had everything together, but as things got closer-I realized how much I needed her.
The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to her. She made sure every detail was what I wanted. At one point the photographer asked me something and I said “sure “ and Marie caught me and said “no, you wanted this...” I was sooo thankful for that. When you are on your wedding day you don’t es t to have to think, you do not want your mom or guests to have to pick up any slack and Marie made sure everyone was able to enjoy our day! She e en made sure our dog made it down the aisle! My brother and his fiancé were so impressed, they used her for their wedding 2 months later!
Marie is also very passionate about what she does and very educated. I would t rust anybody else!

We hired Marie for our 2020 wedding and she helped us through postponing the wedding to our new date in 2021. Although we only met her once, she felt like a trusted friend. She was a great resource to help us find vendors, to answer questions, to create a working to-do list, and to create a timeline. Marie and the Hashtag team coordinated wedding events for us at family residences without a venue staff. We had a traditional tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, and reception. The Hashtag team was wonderful to work with and we cannot recommend them enough! -

Hands down the best decision to add Marie with Hashtag Events to my wedding day! Her assistant and her made my day far less stressful so I could fully enjoy it. Honest to God, I recommend hiring her for set up, take down, dog watching, day of coordination. We hired her at her full package and wouldn't have done it different! -

I met Marie with Hashtag Events at the wedding show in Oshkosh. She exceeded everyone of my expectations. The months leading up to the wedding she was always checking in to make sure I was getting tasks completed. The day of our wedding she was there from start to finish and took so much pressure off me and our families so everyone was able to truly enjoy the day. She is very reasonably priced for the amount of work she does! 100/10 would recommend! -

I am very disappointed to have to write this review. (DISCLAIMER - I gave Marie from Hashtag Events an opportunity to address my concerns privately via email, and it has been over two weeks without acknowledgement from her.)
I hired Marie to be my Day-Of Coordinator over a year out from my wedding. She was recommended to me from another vendor, who after seeing her work at my wedding, apologized to me and said she would never be recommending Marie again.
At the beginning, Marie was confident, helpful, and easy to chat with. However, as the wedding got closer, I felt that she didn't really listen to me during our planning calls. There were times where I answered the same question at least three times. This was frustrating because it made me feel like she wasn't keeping track of what I was saying, and was disorganized.
I was a DIY bride and most of the tasks Marie was asked to do beyond vendor coordination involved setting up/taking down decor. The "hardest" thing she was asked to do was check and refill our drink coolers because we did not have bar service. Friends and family were assigned other tasks to help get things ready for the big day.
At my rehearsal dinner, Marie introduced herself as someone who was going to be the "go-to" person and problem solver - she did not follow through. Even at the rehearsal, she was flustered and did not put my nerves at ease.
On wedding day, I had very little interaction with her and her two assistants. But found out later from my friends and family all the things that she neglected to do that she agreed to do. She did not put the table cloths on the tables before catering got there. She did not monitor or restock the coolers. She did not put the desserts out on the dessert table. She did not clean up my ceremony decor from outside and bring it inside. Beyond those important tasks that my family picked up the slack on, she did not have our marriage certificate ready for the time of signing, or cake plates/the knife ready for our cake cutting, which led to confusion and wasted time.
My husband and I were generous to Marie and her team, paying for her to stay an extra night in the hotel (she traveled to Milwaukee) and giving a nice tip. As we did not find out about the poor quality of her work until after the wedding, we didn't have any immediate reservations when giving her the tip, but now we regret it.
Maybe Marie would be a better fit for a non-DIY bride, but I would not recommend her to anyone.
