    If you are looking for the perfect get away for your bridal party, this is the place to be! In my bridal party there are some different personalities and this place makes everyone happy. There is a spa, shopping, gambling, shows, everything you could imagine in one stop plus in walking distance of even more shopping, food, or if you are wanting to go for a hike.

    Everyone did an amazing job. We had the most beautiful wedding and reception. Our cake was beautiful, the room that we had our ceremony in was then converted to our reception. Beautiful, everyone had a wonderful time!

    Harrah's was the caterer provided through the Tahoe Lake Front Weddings, the venue we chose for our reception. I was UTTERLY impressed with the quality of food and how beautiful my cake was that came from our local Resort-Casino. The food was delicious and we had SO MUCH more than I had imagined for just an appetizer reception, and the cake was exactly what I had hoped it would be. It was also DELICIOUS! Have been to so many weddings where they have a beautiful cake but it tasted horrible! Ours was amazing and I would highly consider using Harrah's for any event that needs to be catered in the future.

    Great staff. The cake was delicious, beautiful...everything we wanted. The reception food and decorations were perfect. The staff was helpful with everything.

    We had our reception at harrahs steak house it was AMAZING!! the waiters were very professional and they all treated us as if we were ultra vips!

    We used Harrah's to cater our wedding. Overall, they were fantastic and we would highly recommend. Multiple people commented after our wedding how great the food was. I remember that my wedding planner/decorator got a little bit of a late start, but the Harrah's staff pitched in and helped carry things in and set up beautifully for the wedding. The wait staff were incredible and the food was amazing. We went with a buffet option with two main entrees, and they also added a child's buffet for no extra charge. The only thing that I would change is that we did a tasting before which was $200. Next time, I would just skip it. The food was so much better at the wedding than it was at the tasting and I ended up going with an entree that I had never tried anyways. Mary was our banquet captain, and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

    Great reception location for our Destination wedding, service was excellent during the reception. Mary & her team are professional, friendly & go above and beyond. Harrahs would have gotten 5 stars, but we had a few small incidents prior to the reception.
    My advice is to read the fine print and keep an email trail!!! This is unfortunate, but necessary. A few things changed after contracts had been signed. Some fixable, but one item was huge. Upon deciding on Harrahs the menu pricing was dated 2014. Two weeks after we signed the contract, they changed the menu pricing to increase almost 30%! It’s 2018! I would have chosen a different venue due to pricing had I seen the increased 2018 one. They hadn’t changed it in 4 years! I didn’t think that they would anytime soon...in the fine print it did read that it may be subject to change. Verbally told we could use the room the night before to set up (place cards etc.). That changed to a fee of $250 two weeks before the wedding. Was able to negotiate it to $150, didn’t need that added stress or additional cost though! The room was beautiful & a lovely time was had. I was a little stressful 2-3 weeks before the wedding as Harrahs waited last minute to finalize everything. You have their full attention when you’re deciding to use Harrahs. Once you’ve signed on the dotted line, it takes 3-5 days for a return phone call from the event coordinator. With that said, the venue is beautiful and the food was wonderful. They don’t have a venue to hold a ceremony so we did ours next door at heavenly mountain.

    I will start by saying that the day of our wedding the food was amazing and beautifully displayed. People are still talking about how the food was (The tasting was meh but dont let that be the judge. The day of, the food was spectacular!. The tri-tip carving station was worth every cent! That being said, the road to the meal was a bumpy one. We went with Harrahs because they were the best value and Veronica was WONDERFUL! She made me feel like no matter what this would be a dream come true. I was then passed off to their Convention service manager who caused so much stress I felt I had made a huge mistake even getting married in Tahoe in November. I had to fight for everything that was promised and braced myself for pushback with almost every call. It is because of the issues that we did not spend more to expand our menu as we had originally planned. The day before the wedding however, she did rally and got me a last minute time extension and some tables that I had slipped on ordering. Skip to the day of the wedding .... While at the end of the day I was grateful to everyone for the beautiful job they did, the servers were amazing wonderful sweet women, I have since heard from several of my wedding party that there were a lot of disparaging things being said about us by the head onsite coordinator. Several people heard her make negative remarks about the fact that we didnt have a wedding coordinator and so on. To me a wedding is high stress even in the best of circumstances; You want everything to run smoothly. Your caterers are supposed to be professionals who know that there are many different situations and personalities and can roll with it. If you need to complain about the bridal party at least do it where they cant hear you! It is their job make the day go smoothly for all involved and to be flexible! I was truly sad to hear that there was a smudge on our day because I was really grateful for the job they did and how much they provided.
