Our wedding at Harbor View Inn was nothing short of amazing. The staff was helpful, organized and professional from the beginning to the end. Everything was absolutely seamless (thanks to Becky, Paige and staff) and even though the entire island lost power the day of the event, they had a back up plan ready in moments to easy my worried mind (the power was restored in time though and everything went as planned).
Having Harbor View as our venue for both the ceremony and reception was by far an amazing decision and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering this space.Harbour View Inn's reply:

We had an amazing experience! The grounds and porch made for a memorable experience, hanging out through the night with friends and family, beyond our wedding date. Pretty much all of our guests stayed at harbour view inn. We had our first look, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here. We had an afterglow with a DJ at another location after the reception. Ceremony was beautiful in the back gazebo. Food was perfect. And they did a fantastic job setting up the back for the reception as well! Becky and the rest of the staff did an amazing job accommodating us and our guests. They took care of everyone and everything we needed! I wish I could relive the day again. One of our most memorable experiences. The location was perfect for our small group of just under 40.Harbour View Inn's reply:

Dreams do come true!
Harbour View was the absolute perfect place for our wedding. They were helpful, kind and incredibly flexible. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect, and it was. Even despite COVID the wedding was stunning, comfortable and everyone was kept safe. I could never thank them enough!Harbour View Inn's reply:

The staff was very professional and wonderful from start to finish. The venue was amazing and our special day was perfect. One thing I did wish for was more pictures of the food and cake that was included in our elopement package. The package does explain everything that was included but there aren't really any visual examples of it. Which is a shame because the food and cake were awesome and very well presented. It was just a little nerve-wracking going into the reception having little or no idea what the food/cake would look or taste like. I had no reason to worry but if I had one thing to mention it was that. All in all I highly recommend 10/10.Harbour View Inn's reply:

This venue is beautiful. It was small, but perfect for the people we had including us and our bridal party a total of 20. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and Becky is amazing. She was so understanding, easy to work with, and always answered any questions questions we had immediately, as well as stayed on top of everything. The day of our wedding she was right there to walk us through everything. This was especially nice since my level of stress was high due to having to cancel our Niagara Falls wedding, and changing our location within two months the Harbour View was the perfect spot, we have no regrets.Harbour View Inn's reply:

Made it perfect, despite being small
I was impressed at how special we were treated even though our wedding was very small. The staff treated everyone as if we had paid for the largest wedding. We only had 14 people total including ourselves and the wedding was perfect. Atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing. It rained on my day and they jumped through hoops to move things around so we could have the wedding in the parlor. Thank you so much!Harbour View Inn's reply:

My Perfect Day
Becky is a saint. She worked so well with me and my grandmother. She really deserves all the credit for bringing everything together. The hotel staff was so incredibly accommodating to all of our expectations. The best part is after my wedding I had so much beer, wine, and even my ceremony dress to take care of as I was staying in a different hotel. They boxed up the leftover beer and wine, took care of my dress, and tagged it for the ferry and arranged for the person transporting our things to meet us just before the ferry left to be sure we got all of our stuff. That really blew me away. The weather was a beautiful warm sunny and 70 day. Which I know the venue didn't do but I couldn't believe everything worked out beautifully. Oh and the food! Everybody raved about the salmon. It took me about an hour to finish my dinner as I was up and down and I swear the last bite was just as good as the first.Harbour View Inn's reply:

Becky and Michelle were wonderful in making sure that everything went as planned and everything was setup accordingly. I couldn't have asked for our wedding to go any better. Our June 12, 2021 wedding exceeded our expectations.
We had our wedding at the Harbour View Inn on June 12, 2021. We had been planning during the pandemic and were unsure if we should go forward with our plans due to restrictions. After talking with the Harbour View Inn, they made us feel comfortable in proceeding with 25 guests (smaller than the venue can hold, but the best number without knowing what the restrictions would be in June). Everything was detailed out for us by Becky, the coordinator. Becky was detail oriented and pushed us in the right direction to think of all the elements that we needed to consider to make the wedding a success. Everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend the Harbour View is you are looking for a small wedding/reception venue on Mackinac. The gazebo was an absolutely stunning setting for our nuptials and the pictures are amazing. BRIDES BEWARE!!! Harbor View Inn shared my confidential information with a 3rd party with malicious intent. RUN THE OTHER WAY. CEO, Ron says “Do all things with integrity” yet they are only words because they choose to do nothing about the acts of their GM and Wedding Coordinator. Pick a different location for your wedding you will be happier that you did.
