Harborview Studios is Amazing!

Cindy and Sean at Harborview Studios filmed our wedding in North Stonington, CT in August 2023. They were absolutely amazing! They were very communicative leading up to our wedding and after, so we knew exactly what to expect when. Cindy and Sean are the sweetest people, so it was a pleasure to have them there on our wedding day. We received our teaser trailer within days after our wedding, which was great! It captured the moments and memories of our day perfectly. We can’t wait to see the rest. We would highly recommend Harborview Studios to anyone looking for a great wedding videographer!

Cape Cod Wedding

Cindy (and Sean) were a pleasure to work with from the first time we met them through the wedding day and continuing. We spoke with several vendors but Cindy's warmth and knowledge came through clearly and we were not wrong. She provided good advice along the way, and on the day of the wedding worked really well with our photographer to get the shots but more importantly to keep everyone calm. We love our sneak peek and cannot wait to see the entire video.

The nicest people, the most amazing video!!!

Cindy and Sean are true masters of their craft! Their work is amazing (the one minute teaser they sent us has me in tears every time I watch it) but they're honestly just the sweetest humans and the greatest people to work with. My husband and I are both camera shy, but honestly Cindy and Sean made us feel like cameras weren't even there. They go above and beyond not just on the wedding day, but in the months and weeks leading up to it as well! They do everything to make sure their couples know what to expect from them, and that doesn't go unnoticed! They also made an effort to truly get to know us before the day.

It was a true pleasure to have Cindy and Sean as a part of our wedding day and we can't wait to see our final video. Run, don't walk to their website and book them for your wedding day!!

Home town feels

It has taken over 2 months for us to put into words how happy both my now husband and I were with Cindy & Sean. From the start, they felt like family, as if we have known them forever. Each catch up phone call was so personal, asked the right questions and overall just made you feel like you were “home”. It was important for us to choose a videographer locally that matched our personalities (and love for cake & Margs) just as much as we do. Cindy and Sean (even in the most stressful of moments) continuously made us less stressed, ( even threw a joke or two in there) to ensure we could enjoy ourselves to the fullest – they never felt like a “vendor”. We knew it was the correct choice once Cindy told us we would have a “Mo cam” on our dogs back – let me tell you…… you won’t be disappointed!! My one suggestion is, if they tell you to go to the beach… you pick up your dress and march to the beach – listen, they are the professionals!! Incredible. The team captured more then I think we could have ever even hopped for. Cindy and Sean, we will see you on the CAPE sometime soon. We can’t thank you both again.

Cindy and sean are the best

UPDATE! Now having had the wedding can confirm Sean and Cindy are the very best. They are so kind, hilarious, friendly, and talented. They will make you feel like a million bucks on your wedding day, even if you hate being filmed like I do. Cindy leant so much of her time to answering my insane emails and giving advice about things that extend far beyond just videography. Our sneak peak was delivered so fast and was amazing, I can't wait to see are other videos when they come in. We were determined to work with small local businesses where possible, and sometimes encountered small businesses that hadn't really modernized the business side of their operation. Clunky websites, few payment options, not a great deal of communication or transparency about schedules. Harborview is the OPPOSITE. While I would hire them again for their talent and personalities alone, we REALLY appreciated how professional and user friendly their website, contract, payment, and portal is. It helped keep us organized, let us know exactly what things cost, what they would include, and when they would be delivered, how to pay and when to pay, etc. You're going to encounter a lot of wonderful mom and pop shops in your Cape vendor search, and there's nothing wrong with that, but a well-oiled, user-friendly business can make planning that much easier. Ultimately, Sean and Cindy are the best and you definitely will not regret hiring them. They are the best, their work is the best, and they will make you feel great on your wedding day. Also they have great taste in pet names, which is a critical quality in a videographer in my opinion.

Initial review: Full disclosure: Cindy and Sean haven't even filmed our wedding yet. But they have been so kind and flexible during the pandemic and our postponement that I really can't recommend them enough to any couple nervously researching vendors in this terrible time. They are industry experts, they conduct their business with incredible professionalism down to the detailed online user interface, and they have been incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. Their work speaks for itself and I'm sure when we eventually get married we'll love the final product, but I already am so so happy I chose them because of how amazing they've been during this chaos.

Cindy and Sean are AMAZING!

Harborview Studios was great to work with from start to finish. Very responsive and professional, answering all of our questions during the planning process. They were fantastic to work with the day of and really captured the entire day. We also added a drone which we highly recommend! We were thrilled to receive our sneak peek film only a week after our wedding! The sneak peek captured bits and pieces from the entire day and really made us feel like we could relive the day all over again! We can't wait to receive the full length film. Phenomenal Videographers!

Sean and Cindy are an incredible team! We could not be happier with the wedding films they produced for us and are so grateful for their vision and hard work. I think I've watched our 1 minute clip over 100 times! The quality of their work is phenomenal and they were extremely fun and easy to work with. They made sure every part of the process was personalized to us and that we got everything that we wanted. It was very clear that they care so much about the work they do and the people they work with. Their instincts are right on and they pulled out all of the right moments from the day to highlight in our films of various lengths. We couldn't recommend them more and are so glad we get to relive our special day forever!

Fantastic Videos and Team

Cindy and Sean were fantastic throughout our entire wedding planning process, as well as the day of. Our videos are perfect and we have been watching them on repeat ever since we got it. People warned us that videographers might seem intrusive on our wedding day, but this couldn't be more false when it comes to Cindy and Sean. You could hardly tell that they were there, they blended in seamlessly, but somehow they got great footage anyways! We are so happy we decided to use them for our wedding day.

The couple you need to be at your wedding !

My husband and I love Cindy and Sean so much that I have to write this review even before our final video is done. At first though we weren’t even positive we were going to do a videographer. As we toyed with the idea, we were told to check out Cindy and Sean...and we could not be more thankful we did. First of all, they are the definition of couple goals. As we were planning our wedding, we loved our phone calls and face times we them! We felt like we knew each other before the big day. I think that was so crucial because it felt natural having them there. They were the epitome of professional while also having fun with us. Before they left Cindy was on the dance floor with me! We LOVED our sneak peak of our video, I have watched it more times than I should admit! We can’t wait for December to see the full thing, we know it will be absolutely amazing!!!

One of the best wedding planning decisions I made!

We had a small wedding, and I was hesitant to hire a videographer. My wedding planner said if I did decide to pull the trigger, Harborview was the absolute best. And she was RIGHT! So talented and so fantastic to work with!

We could not be more in love with our wedding video made by Harborview Studios! We are so grateful for the chance to watch and relive our greatest day, and even get to see some of the moments that we missed! They captured every detail and all of my favorite moments. The overall production of the our wedding video and the short trailer was so well done too! In addition to their amazing artistic skill, Sean and Cindy were fantastic to work with. They were meticulous with every detail planning ahead which made it seamless the day of our wedding! Immediately after they contacted us and even sent us our little sneak peek only one week after our wedding!! They were so easy to work with and they beautiful package our video came in was such a great surprise! Incredibly talented

Cindy and Sean were the absolute BEST videographers! We were so impressed with their professionalism, flexibility and how easily they worked with our photographer. I hired Sean to be my videographer with the help of my photographer, Amanda @ ShoreShotz Photography. My husband wasn’t on board at first, he would say things like “I don’t like candid shots of myself” and then I told him Sean has a drone available for videos, and he was sold! A few of my friends that recently got married said their biggest regret wasn’t getting a videographer, so I’m definitely glad I booked Sean. The day truly goes by in a blur and having these moments are so special to me. He was so easy to work with, despite having 2 assistants you barely knew they were there! And the videoS!! OMG so amazing!! He gave us a trailer within a few days, and then in AMAZING packaging, a 25 minute video along with full length ceremony and reception moments within a MONTH of our wedding!! It was unreal! It was so wonderful to be able to sit down with my husband and watch our sibling’s MOH and BM speeches splices in between scenes from our ceremony and reception. I’m so happy I went with Sean and his team, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Sean is a Master Cinematographer! Friendly, professional, unobtrusive and a great communicator before and after the event! You can tell immediately, Sean is committed to providing an exceptional product and he did not disappoint! We are completely thrilled with the final results! My husband and I had the best experience at Harborview Studios! Sean was great to work with and our video came out perfect. We were able to meet with Sean prior to the wedding to go over exactly what we were looking for and got a lot of helpful information of what to expect the day of. Sean captured all the best moments for the video. One of my concerns prior to the wedding was feeling overwhelmed by having a videographer but I didn’t experience this at all! I felt that Sean was capturing all the wonderful moments but not overwhelming! It was also like he wasn’t even there in a way and was not blocking any of my photos being taken. The final produce was perfect!!! I would defiantly recommend him!

My husband and I got married on Cape Cod but live in Atlanta, so it wasn't easy for us to find our vendors from afar. Sean was wonderful! Extremely professional and he was so good about not even being seen. My hesitation on getting the video was that I already had so many vendors that were going to be present, I didn't know if I wanted another camera in my face! He wasn't intrusive at all and the morning after our wedding I am SO GLAD I got the videographer because your wedding day goes by so fast, you barely remember certain aspects. Sean and his assistant did an amazing job capturing our ceremony and reception. With the craziness and excitement of the day, I had forgotten many details of my ceremony, and could not be more pleased with the finished product. When we watched the video for the first time, it truly played out like a movie, a beautiful story of our day. Sean captured my (short) ceremony and all the important and fun moments from our reception. He also joined us at the beach immediately following the ceremony for photos and all the sweet moments that took place while capturing our formal shots.

Sean and his assistant were never obtrusive, and I kept forgetting that they were there- they seamlessly blended into the background. However, when watching the video you would think that they were front and center right along with us.

Sean is the utmost professional and was an absolute pleasure to work with in the days leading up to the ceremony. He was easily accessible via phone and e-mail, especially when I was a bundle of nerves leading up to the big day. I highly recommend Sean to anyone even considering having a videographer.

Sean at Harborview Studios is so great to work with! He was responsive throughout the whole planning process and provided us with updates after the wedding of when we would receive the final product. The video usb was mailed to us in a personalized box with candy and treats which was such a thoughtful touch. Sean is incredibly talented and the video came out better than we could have imagined. Sean at Harborview Studios was a pleasure to work with! Not only is he talented and professionial but also extremely knowledgeable and kind. My husband and I met Sean at a bridal expo on Cape Cod and are so happy that we did! Throughout the planning process Sean was willing to answer questions that we had and he was sure to get any information in advance to make sure things went smoothly on the big day. On the day of the wedding he got right to work and was extremely unobtrusive throughout the evening. Many guests were unaware we even had a videographer! Before leaving the reception, Sean pulled me aside to show me a few shots that he took time to edit while he was having dinner. I was blown away and already excited to receive the final product. When we received our video, which was packaged wonderfully, and sat down to watch it we could not believe how great it came out. We actually watched it about five times and have been playing it for friends and family when we have them over. We look forward to watching our special day for years to come! Sean is professional, reliable, and a joy to work with. The video he produced is glorious and beautifully captures the spirit and details of our bride and groom's special day. I was impressed that he met with me in advance clearly outlining the parameters of the job and noting our needs and priorities. He was professional and up-front about costs and deadline fulfillment. Sean did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding video! He was very professional, got some amazing footage, and was so easy to work with, and his pricing is very reasonable and flexible. Both the wedding trailer and the video he did for us are amazing, and I am so so thankful that we hired him. He made it possible for us to relive our wedding day, and I am so grateful for that! We have gotten so many compliments on the videos, and our venue is even using the trailer for their website. I highly highly recommend Sean and Harborview Studios!

Sean is the BEST! After the initial meeting with him, I had no doubt that he would provide us with exceptional service, and that he did! He was always available and willing to meet in person and responded to emails promptly. He never hesitated to answer all my questions and always made me feel at ease. He gained my trust from the very beginning and he proved to be everything that we hoped for. He's very organized and is truly interested in reviewing each detail of your special day so that he doesn't miss a beat. He arrived right on time to capture myself and my bridesmaids getting ready. In a rather small hotel room, he was able to blend in and capture wonderful moments…he was never obtrusive in any way. The same goes for the church ceremony and the reception. He and his assistant were there for each special moment, but never in the way. The final edited video is just AMAZING. It immediately brought us back to the best day of our lives. It is our favorite keepsake from that day. We're so impressed by Sean's talent -he has clearly mastered the art of filmmaking and cinematography. He was able to capture all the beautiful love we felt that day, in addition to each detail of the venue, decor, etc. We've watched it several times and it continues to bring tears to our eyes! We honestly can't say enough about Harborview Studios. You will not regret choosing Sean and his team to capture your day! He is worth every penny. He makes it look easy but we all know it is far from that. He is dedicated to making beautiful memories that you'll cherish forever!!

Sean was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I went back and forth about whether or not we wanted to spend the money on a wedding video and we are so happy we did. The cost of a video through Harborview Studios is beyond reasonable and it is clear that Sean puts a great amount of attention, detail and care into his work.

I should also note that Sean responded right away to all our emails and phone calls - as a bride with a lot of questions leading up to the day, this is much appreciated! I'll would recommend Harborview Studios to anyone in need of a videographer. Our wedding video is beautiful and one that we'll want to watch over and over for years to come.

We were very happy to have Sean provide the videography for our wedding. From the first phone call, we knew Sean was the right choice. Sean was very responsive, easy to work with and produced an amazing video. On our wedding day, Sean teamed up really well with our photographer and captured all our special moments without feeling obtrusive. When we received our wedding video, it came in a beautiful engraved wooden box filled with popcorn, candy and other goodies; such a sweet and unexpected surprise! The video was a wonderful montage of every detail and moment of the day. My husband and I truly enjoyed reliving our wedding day and we are very grateful to Sean for all his hard work and dedication. Sean has given us the best wedding gift ever!! Our wedding video is a professional depiction of our love story and truly portrays us as a couple. His attention to detail is incredible, as he captured all of the small things that collectively made the day so special to us. Sean was so easy and comfortable to work with from the very beginning. He is approachable and connected with me throughout the year of wedding planning. I was so excited to finally meet him on my wedding day! He caught all those special moments of our day without ever being intrusive. You hardly notice he is even there… I genuinely wish I’d spent more time getting to know him during the night.
Sean’s talent and passion in his work is palpable. In the end, our wedding video was like watching a beautiful movie. It will continue to make us laugh, cry, and reminisce about our most favorite day.

I have nothing but great things to say about Sean! Not only do you want to work with talented people (which he is!) but more importantly on your wedding day you want to be surrounded by fun and laughter - and that is Sean :) he was a lot of fun to work with and I would work with him again in a heartbeat!

As for the finished product - I was in awe of his presentation. I thought he would just send us a USB - nope! He thought of every detail! When I opened the box there was this gorgeous wood carved box with our usb, candy, popcorn and movie tickets! It was so cute!

I love the video! My husband and I sat there laughing and definitely tearing up during the 20+ minute video. It was such a great way to relive the day and see it from another perspective. So glad we chose to do a video and chose to work with Sean. Couldn't be happier!

My husband and I used Sean as the videographer for our wedding and we highly recommended him. He was on-time, professional and unobtrusive. The final product was fabulous! He sent it to us in a personalized wooden box filled with candy. It was really creative and unexpected. We received an edited version that showed highlights of the wedding set to music and an unedited version. The edited video is a perfect keepsake of the wedding. It is set to the perfect sound track and shows all the best moments of the wedding in a creative and artistic way.

We got married at the Dennis Inn on Cape Cod in June 2014. We are so glad that we hired Sean to film our wedding day. He was incredibly easy to work with, friendly, responsive, and professional. We absolutely love our wedding video. Sean did a great job weaving all the different aspects of the day -- guys and girls getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dancing -- into a cohesive, concise, moving, beautiful story. I'm also very grateful to have full video of the most important moments as bonus features. The day went by so fast -- it's amazing to be able to go back and relive the day on film. Sean even caught things that we didn't get a chance to see, and it's such a gift to get to see them now. Thank you, Sean!

Sean provided video services for my daughter's June wedding on Cape Cod. He was wonderful to work with as we arranged for the big day. He answered my many questions in a timely manner and very throughly. Sean was ever present during the wedding but you would never know it because he managed to get all the important moments on video without being intrusive. The proof was in the professional quality video he presented to us within the promised time frame. Hiring a videographer was almost an afterthought for us but we are SO glad we did! We are very grateful for the way that Sean managed to beautifully record my daughter's big day and provide us with a lifetime of visual memories.

Each and every time we show our wedding video to friends and family we hear the following....

I was undecided on the topic, so last year I polled my friends as to whether or not I should hire a wedding videographer. Those who had hired one for their own weddings said “absolutely, it was one of the best wedding decisions they made.” Those who did not, told me how their wedding day went by in such a blur that they dearly wished that they had a film, so I e-mailed Sean at Harborview Studios. Sean couldn’t have been more pleasant to work with, patiently answering my many questions via e-mail , he was so unobtrusive on the day of the wedding that he blended in with the guests and I hardly noticed he was filming. Sean listened to what we were looking for and the wedding video which recently arrived couldn’t be more perfect. My friends were right, it all went by in a blur and as the bride, you aren’t able to see your guests arriving or your adorable nieces walk down the aisle, so it was so much fun to sit down a couple months after the wedding and watch it from our guests’ perspective. I cannot recommend Harborview Studios highly enough.

Living in Switzerland and planning a wedding in Boston was no easy task - Sean was completely understanding and accommodating. When we were visiting the US 6 months before the wedding, he went out of his way to meet with us in person, answer all our questions and address our unconventional requests. On the day of the wedding he was seemingly invisible yet, judging by the results, in all the right places at all the right times, catching the most important and quirky moments of our day! We are so happy he took the time to get to know us, so that our personalities really shine through in the film. Even in delivering the final result, Sean was patient and generous when dealing with international mailing mishaps! The film Sean produced perfectly captures the best day of our lives!

Chris and I would like to thank you for the incredible and artistic wedding video you created for us. When we first met, you listened to all my likes and dislikes, my fears and my hopes, and assured me that this will be exactly what I dreamed of. Your friendly persona through our numerous communications through calls and emails took all of the stress of the big day away. The day ended up being just perfect and you clearly see it in the video.

When we first received it, Chris was working late that day and I sat impatiently waiting for him to get home so we can watch it together. I laughed, I cried, I jumped off the couch, I hugged and kissed my husband… it must have been the most emotional 45 minutes of my life since the wedding. It was exactly what I had wanted! You captured the day as if it was a movie, Chris and I the starring roles of course. It was enjoyable, artistic, romantic, exciting, and even comical at times, all rolled into one. The music selection went perfectly with the editing and every important piece of the day came together flawlessly.

I cannot even tell you how many times I have watched it and each time I still laugh and cry. Our family and friends were all thrilled to see it and all RAVE about how I picked such a great videographer. Words cannot describe how pleased we were with your work. Hands down, the best decision I made regarding the wedding planning.

We wish you the best of luck with Harborview Studios and know that all of your future brides and grooms will be as thankful and happy as we are. You made our wedding day into something I can live over and over again with the click of a remote. Trust me, the rewind button on the remote is pretty worn out from all the work it had to do to get me back to all my favorite moments.

Sean is very easy to work with! He was on time, responsive to all of my questions, and turned around an awesome video in record timing - complete with adding a trailer after the fact! I would definitely recommend paying for extra hours to ensure the whole reception is captured if you're having a longer wedding -we did not, so we missed some late dancing that happened on the video, but still absolutely love the video!
