A meaningful ring for my wife
My wife wanted these rings even before I started thinking about marrying her. After I popped the question, we went to the website of Happy Laulea and look for a pair of rings that were not only look cool but also were meaningful. The catch was we are in Japan and we were afraid of the ring size. The staff replied promptly to our questions and requests and I am happy to report we started our marriage by choosing a meaningful, beautiful and perfectly fitting pair of rings that we hope last for a long time in our fingers.
In case you are wondering, my wife explained to me that once she saw the Koa in the rings she knew she could marry only a man who could appreciate the beauty of if. -

Not only are our rings beautiful, the responsiveness and genuine concern for customer satisfaction from the store was beyond outstanding! We had an issue with USPS and our rings arrived late. My experience from beginning to end with Happy Laulea was extremely positive. I was interested in a wedding/engagement set and I had various questions regarding what I wanted and to see if it was possible. I mainly was interested in a substantially larger diamond for the engagement piece and was inquiring if it was possible and more importantly if it aesthetically would look good. John was more than helpful with his opinion, his ability to fulfill the order as expected and with his communication throughout the entire process. My now fiancée absolutely loves the set. The craftsmanship is everything that I had hoped for and I couldn't be happier with it. I would and will highly recommend anyone to do business with this company. First I want to give major stars for this company's customer service! They are seriously one of the best companies I have ever ordered from. I ordered a ring for my partner the week of Black Friday as a Christmas present. Right away, Happy Laulea was so prompt with their emails to answer my questions. Unfortunately, my ring was delivered according to USPS, but when I went to check my mailbox, there was no package there. I can only assume it was stolen, as it was so close to Black Friday, when mail theft is so rampant. I was devastated. I went on to file a lost mail claim with the postal service and relayed the information to Happy Laulea. And assumed I would have to repay for another ring, which was not within my means. Much to my surprise, they were so understanding. Other businesses I have encountered would not have even replied back to me with an answer to a question, let alone offer to resend my desired ring again, free of charge with additional paid postage via insured mail this time. Cory, who I corresponded with throughout this whole process was simply wonderful. This could of been a very disappointing situation, although mail theft of course was no fault of Happy Laulea. But they went above my expectations. They were just so down to earth and prompt and you could feel that they just want to satisfy you and your worries. Emails had that personal touch, not some rehearsed "company policy" rhetoric. Picking a ring out for someone you love is nerve wrecking in itself, especially when on a tight schedule and budget, so when a problem arises, you need a company like this to help you through it.
Now as for the quality of the ring itself, it came safely in a yellow envelope. Within the envelope was a canvas drawstring bag, in there a cardboard ring box, and there the more than beautiful ring I ordered! Exquisite craftsmanship. Super polished sheen. I cant wait for my partner to see this. Best online ordering experience ever, hands down. Thank you Happy Laulea!!! -

If you are getting a weeding band and having it engraved, spend the extra time/money to ship the band pre-engraved to make sure it fits. I have a size 10 band at home and ordered a size 10 band here and the one from here was a touch bigger. Not an issue, but it easily could have been. Once engraved there are no returns. -

Lucky for me I found an amazing company local to me. Through email I was able to meet a representative to pick up my rings in person. Unfortunately my husband's ring was too small, but we were able to meet the next day to try the next two sizes up, and they even offered an even bigger size if needed. My husband and I have been married for eight years now, and due to weight loss, my ring flattening itself out from constant wear and no longer fitting when I gained weight again, my original ring no longer fits. So my husband put his ring away as well and we started to look for a pair to take over for the well loved and worn pair. When we found Happy Laulea on Etsy it was easy to fall in love with the simple but perfect ring sets they sold. I even panicked when I went back to buy the set we'd settled on and found the shop closed for vacation.
The rings themselves are beautiful, simple, and lovely. The black goes with my uniform and my husbands while the koa wood makes them unique and tied to nature.
When you're married it's easy to neglect things, simple little things like rings. Why should you need a ring to tell the world you're taken after all? Well it actually makes a huge difference. At least for us it did. We didn't realize how disconnected we felt until our little brown package showed up. There was a lot of excitement to see the rings and put them on each other. It's a wonderful feeling that little weight on my ring finger.
We truly adore the rings we bought from Happy Laulea and want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the service they provided us. -

We ordered a tungsten ring with wood inlay for my fiance's wedding band. The ring was reasonably priced, especially for the quality and uniqueness of the product. It arrived quickly and looks beautiful and high-quality. I also had it engraved, which was done just as I requested. I do wish it had come in a fancier box since it is such a special item, but really that's a very minor complaint. I would definitely recommend them if you like the style of their jewelry. -

I was in Oahu for work and figured I really wanted to find a Hawaiian style wedding band. Not as easy as it sounds but I researched online and Happy Laulea was close by, had great reviews and said I would make an appt while I was there. Stefan met with me, I explained what I wanted he gave me some advice on fitting with my engagement ring size etc... he even customized the ring for me with a different stone! I love it couldn’t be happier! Wedding day is in August I will be back in Hawaii on Kauai! Mahalo! -

Beautiful Wedding Bands
We got our matching wedding bands from Happy Laulea and we're very pleased. The bands are beautiful, high quality, inexpensive, and were shipped very quickly from Hawaii to the continental US. The only problem is, one of them was too big and we couldn't get a hold of anyone to have it exchanged or returned, so we ended up having to buy an additional one. -

I bought a custom ring two years ago asking for a specific size- I also asked for one of the materials to be replaced. HappyLaulea replied to me and was happy to work with me. The ring came later than the time frame I asked for, and was actually NOT the size that I specifically ordered. Well, I had to go on vacation- I left with the ring the minute it arrived. So I was unable to talk to them about the size difference. Recently I realized that the inlays in the ring were lifting- after just two years! The opal was crushed because it had lifted. I sent them a few emails asking for the repair- with the screenshot of receipt and several pictures of the damage. They ignored my email for several weeks. When I finally managed to get in touch with them, they quoted me a price of more than half the cost of the ring itself. I also asked about the size difference and they would not repair it. The ring was beautiful when it came to me, but I would never repurchase because of how the inlays lifted after regular usage and how I was treated by customer service. I would save my money and buy from another company. I think above all, the fact that there's no reviews after some time has passed makes the quality of the product questionable. -

I ordered a ring it was beautiful when I received it don't get me wrong but when I ordered it, I ordered the wrong size... I wanted to exchange it for a smaller size and a different ring and I emailed them numerous occasions and called them numerous times and never got a consistent response. If you ask me it was very suspect because every time I requested for someone to call me, nobody ever called me. When you order a ring make sure that you order the right size. This website does not provide returning shipment information. You have to come out of your pockets and pay your own shipping back to Hawaii, which is quite expensive. When I send back the ring with the invoice and the exchange ring information, I did not want to put my card information into the invoice note. Therefore I asked the representative to get in contact with me so that I can physically speak to someone over the phone to give them my remaining balance payment. They received my ring on a Wednesday and maybe about a week went by no call no email. Before they actually contacted me to ask me information on my remaining balance it was completely out of my returning time span. It literally took me about a month and a week to exchange this ring. Which is terrible because my husband was walking around with no wedding ring after we got married. And the icing on the cake was the ring is taking another week to get to me because they would not pay for express shipping and I had initially paid for express shipping. I would not recommend this website for someone to purchase a ring on because they are not consistent and you have no one to ask questions too if you are purchasing a ring. Also in my opinion the ring looks so much better online than it does in person. In person the ring looks a little flimsy and flat so it doesn't look heavy. It looks more like a mood ring that you purchase on the streets. I hope this helps someone out. -
