Booking the Wedding Day Dog Attendant service through Happy Bark & Tails for my 11-month-old puppy was one of the best decisions I ever made. My now-husband and I were in the midst of planning our wedding when we decided to adopt our beautiful puppy, Oreo, and we wanted to ensure that he could be a part of our wedding. Thank goodness we found Happy Bark & Tails.
From our first meeting, the owner, Madeline, was informative, and caring, gave us a clear idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and took the time to answer all our questions. Every step of the way, Madeline was patient, responsive, and put us at ease. We even scheduled a meet-and-greet a few weeks before the wedding with Madeline and her husband, Gabriel, who is also a co-owner of the business. We were certain that they would not only care for Oreo but treat him like their own baby.
On the day of our wedding, Madeline and Gabriel arrived at our hotel and immediately took care of Oreo. They put on his cute “best dog” scarf and bow tie and handled him while my husband and I got ready for our wedding. They walked him, fed him, played with him, helped him pose for pictures with us, and treated Oreo like family. They transported him to the venue, took him back to our hotel, and stayed with him until we got back. We couldn’t have asked for a better company or people to work with! They also documented our wedding day with photos from Oreo’s perspective. The gallery of photos was beautiful and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
I highly recommend Happy Bark & Tails for all your wedding pet care needs. They were great to work with and we have already recommended them to another couple!

A Million gold stars!!!
Absolutely amazing duo taking care of our precious duo! This is the first time we have really trusted anyone to take care of Basil and Winston, transport them, even give them their dinner and came back to give winston his insulin dose. Everything we could have asked for and more so they could be present for our special day. Great attention to detail. Thorough and timely updates. Highly recommend!!! Thank you so much Madeline! -

We cannot recommend Happy Bark and Tails enough—hiring Madeline was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the very beginning, Madeline was incredibly attentive, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We did a meet-and-greet with our dog, Ginger, ahead of time, and it went perfectly, which immediately put us at ease.
On the wedding day, Madeline arrived a few hours before the ceremony and cared for Ginger throughout photos, walked her down the aisle during the ceremony, and assisted with additional photos afterward. She handled everything seamlessly and thoughtfully. After the wedding, she even took Ginger home overnight and brought her back to us the next day when we were ready to head home.
Having Ginger be part of the best day of our lives meant everything to us, and Madeline made that possible—without us ever having to worry or keep eyes on her. Knowing Ginger was in such loving, capable hands allowed us to fully enjoy our day and dance the night away stress-free.
Madeline is kind, professional, and truly exceptional at what she does. We would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking to include their dog in their wedding day. An invaluable service and an unforgettable experience! -

We had such a wonderful experience with Happy Bark & Tails! From the moment I reached out, Maddie was responsive, kind, and professional. The meet-and-greet beforehand made us feel completely at ease in preparation for the day
On our wedding day, they went above and beyond. Not only did they make sure our pup Remi was cared for and part of our special moments, but they also captured amazing photos—from Remi’s perspective and even some behind-the-scenes shots of us that we’ll cherish forever.
Having Remi there to walk down the aisle and be part of our family photos was something we almost didn’t think was possible, but their services made it happen. Our guests loved seeing him there, and it meant so much to us.
If you’re considering including your dog in your wedding, I can’t recommend His Happy Bark & Tails enough— they made it stress-free, joyful, and truly unforgettable. We are so grateful we found them! -

The HBT team is so awesome! We had our dog Luca at our wedding in NJ and Madeline and Gabriel handled everything for us! I was a little uneasy leaving Luca with anyone besides us but HBT made the process so seamless and truly understands what it means to care for your pet like they are family. Their communication and professionalism is top tier and I didn’t have to worry about Luca the whole day knowing he was well taken care of - they had him dressed, ready and happy for our pictures and I couldn’t ask for anything more. We had a meet and greet with them at our venue and it was so great meeting Madeline and Gabriel in person. They really went above and beyond to get to know the ins and outs of Luca, his behavior and likes and dislikes, preferred toys/treats and beyond - which I really appreciated. Our POV gallery pictures were so amazing and made me so emotional knowing not only that Luca was able to make it to our wedding but also that he was well taken care of just as if we would’ve. I felt a massive sigh of relief when Madeline told our planner and subsequently, me that Luca was back at home safe and sound, tired, fed and happy.

So thankful for Happy Bark & Tails!!
Madeline was amazing with our Cannoli on our wedding day and night before! We wanted to find a way for our dog to be a part of our special day and we were able to achieve that with the help of Madeline & Happy Bark & Tails. We originally booked Madeline for just the wedding, then leading up to the big day we realized we needed someone to watch him the night before. Which she was able to do! We were so happy. She also attended our rehearsal to help us prepare for him to run down the aisle the next day. She did a wonderful job taking care of him the day of prior, during and after the ceremony. He was able to run down the aisle and quickly get back to her.
Cannoli hates being alone and gets anxiety. She was so friendly and Cannoli really liked being with her, which isn’t always the case with people he does not know. It made us feel so relaxed knowing he was happy and in great care on such an important day.
After the ceremony, she helped us and our photographers get great shots of us and Cannoli. She even captured great pictures/videos herself behind the scenes, which was awesome and great to look back on. We love photos so being able to have these was amazing.
We would highly recommend having Madeline and Happy Bark & Tails alongside you and your pet during your special event. The amount of care and the peace of mind provided were well worth it!!

Best service ever!
The best company ever!!! We hired happy bark and tails for our wedding and they did not disappoint. When we came across their page we knew this was the right fit for us as we wanted to include our dog in our wedding! We had our initial call with Madeline and she made us feel so comfortable and excited about everything as we were very nervous leaving our dog with someone else. We had a meet and greet with both Madeline and Gabriel and they were the kindest people ever and made sure to cover all the questions and interact with our dog. The day of the wedding we had Gabriel and he was hands down the BEST!!! He took care of our dog as we finished up getting ready, brought him to the church for photos (which we were obsessed with), brought him to the venue for several videos and photos, and stayed for all photos/ cocktail hour and then finally brought our pup back to the hotel where he stayed with him for a bit longer and still was capturing photos of our dog! Gabriel and our dog were the stars of the show. The service that Gabriel provided was absolutely impeccable and he went above and beyond to take care of our pup and make our day perfect!!! Not only are they a wedding pet service, this company provides all media content with photos and videos that are like no other. After the wedding my husband and I kept trying to think of other events we can hire Gabriel for, because he was amazing!!! He kept us informed throughout the night when needed but did not bother us one bit!! We recommend this company and especially Gabriel 10000000 percent. Best service ever and we hope to be able to see them again/hire them again!!! -

What an amazing Dynamic Duo! Madeline and her husband took care of our 100lb gentle giant German Shepherd who is also my husband's service dog. We would never trust our baby Aidan with just anyone. The idea of even having another person take care or Aidan on our wedding day, stressed us out, but finding Madeline was the answer to our prayers. She took great care of our baby and he loved spending the day with her and her husband! They captured amazing moments of us with our pup and we knew we didn't have to worry about Aidan the entire day. They walked him down the aisle for us as well and took care of him all night until we got back to our room! Thank you so much guys for allowing us to enjoy our special day with our Aidan! -

Our pup couldn't have been in better hands!! Madeline and her husband arrived promptly with a bag full of everything they would need day-of, in case I forgot anything. They were mindful of keeping him out of the sun and giving him lots of water to cool him down on the hot June day. They had toys to keep him focused for photos. He had also gotten injured shortly before the wedding and was struggling with stairs; they did a fantastic job picking him up and keeping him from accidentally harming himself. By the end of the day, they picked him up and held him and he melted like a puddle. He stayed overnight and was happy as anything the next morning. The gallery at the end was the icing on the cake - thank you so much Happy Bark & Tails for ensuring Bentley had a great experience! -

Amazing Vendor!
We cannot recommend Happy Bark & Tails enough. When my husband and I got engaged I had this vision of all our family dogs being a part of the wedding ceremony. We wanted to have our own dog, my mom’s dog, and my mother-in-law’s dog involved in the ceremony. At first I just wasn't sure how we would make this work. Of course we would all be too busy to keep an eye on the dogs all day and we didn’t want to ask any family members to have to take that on. A few google searches later and I learned about Happy, Bark & Tails. Once I talked to Madeline I knew that our dogs would be in really good hands for the ceremony and taken care of afterward as well. Madeline had an emergency occur right before our wedding and she wasn’t able to come herself to take care of the dogs but she made sure that her team was there and everything went off without a hitch! We are so thankful our dogs were able to share in this special day. -

The Happy Bark & Tails team is so incredible--they made our dream of having our dog involved in our wedding a reality and for that we cannot recommend them enough!! They are so kind and clearly love animals and made both us and our Rex feel so at ease. They traveled to our home for a wonderful meet and greet, arranged pickup and return service to our pet-sitter day of wedding, managed our anxious pup during photos and ceremony, and ensured he was fully prepared to fulfil his ring-bearer duties. On top of all of this, they also captured some incredible photos from Rex's POV throughout the day, which we will forever cherish. If you want your pup to be a part of your big day, working with Happy Bark & Tails is an absolute no brainer! -

Words (or a 5-star review) simply do not do Madeline justice!! Madeline was exceptional... She is so sweet, caring, calm, and attentive. We usually do not leave our dog with strangers, but when our dog first met Madeline, he absolutely fell in love with her! Our dog immediately took to her and made us instantly feel comfortable. We knew he would be in great hands on our wedding day. She went above and beyond. She made our wedding day with our little fur baby so easy to navigate and we cannot thank her enough - literally!!

I don’t know how Madeline got our puppy to behave so well, but she is absolutely incredible. We could not have gotten the pictures we did with our pup without her. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to include their dog in their wedding! -

Best dog experience for wedding
Madeline did such an amazing job with our 3-year old golden retreiver, Kona, on our wedding day! Kona is pretty hyper and is only play-motivated but we wanted her to be part of our special day. We are so glad we chose Madeline because she made everything so easy for us. She picked our dog up, walked her down the aisle and took excellent care of her during the ceremony, and then dropped her off at her sitter so we could enjoy the rest of the night. Madeline and Gabriel did a wonderful job keeping Kona hydrated, happy, and entertained so that we could take photos with her. Madeline also took many photos of us with Kona that came out soooo beautifully. She provided Kona with a beautiful flower leash that looked gorgeous in the photos! I also hired Happy Bark & Tails (Royal Dog of Honor) with Madeline for our engagement shoot and those photos came out beautifully as well. Thank you so much for everything!! -

My husband and I recently got married in May, and one of the most important things to us was to make sure our dog, Laila, was taken care of and also felt as special as all of our family members. We also wanted Laila to be a part of the wedding. After meeting with Madeline the owner of Happy Bark & Tails for the first time, we knew she would be able to do just that. She came highly recommended to us from several groups on facebook. She did such an amazing job taking care of our baby. She brought Laila to the venue and helped with pictures, walked her down the aisle and had Laila mingling with our guest during cocktail hour. They also dressed Laila with an adorable flower collar! THE BEST.. We are so happy to have used the Happy Bark & Tails team, they were true professional and dog loving people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. -

Well worth it!
We had some trepidation about including our beloved dogs in our wedding due to logistics (they were staying with our dog sitter in Manhattan while we spent the wedding weekend in New Jersey at a hotel that didn't allow dogs), but Happy Bark & Tails made it easy and stress free!
They coordinated with our sitter to pick up the dogs the day of, and arrived at our wedding venue with plenty of time to spare so we could do some first-look photos with them. And the dogs have never looked so handsome! The tuxedo outfits were a great touch. During photos, Madeline and Gabriel used squeaky toys to get our dogs' attention so they'd be facing the camera. When one of our dogs got fussy during the wedding ceremony, Gabriel was there with a treat to calm him down. Following the ceremony, Madeline and Gabriel again coordinated with our sitter to drop them off.
We are extremely happy with our decision to use this service because our pups are our family, and we couldn't imagine not including them in our ceremony. -

Madeline and her husband were amazing and made our wedding day less stressful because we knew our precious pup was in great hands! We met Madeline and her husband a few months before the big day to allow our pup to meet and great with them. Layla hit it off with them right away and they met us at our hotel the night before our wedding to take our pup to their house. They only do one dog a night which I love so we know that ours is getting the most attention! They sent us pictures the whole time to check in and let us know she was ok. They brought her to our venue early and before the required time to do pictures. They took care of her the whole time and made it so easy on us. They walked her down the aisle and helped with photos. They were awesome! I can not recommend them enough and they were so much more affordable then other similar companies I reached out to. Go with Happy Bark & Tails for your wedding and you won't be disappointed. -

Once the ceremony ended, they hung around for a little to let whoever wanted to pet the dogs and soon after they left with the dogs to keep them over night. The next day they even dropped the dogs off at our house!
I will be contacting them in the future if we ever need boarding! They are both down to earth people with a great idea in helping couples who want their dogs in their wedding!

I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing the service provided was! Madeline was able to pick them up and drop them off directly to us. I can’t say enough amazing things about Madeline, our wedding dog attendant! 🐾 She was truly incredible and made my day so much easier. Not only was she so attentive and loving with my dog, but she also went above and beyond to make sure I was completely stress-free — even with things that weren’t dog related. Right before I walked down the aisle, she fluffed and held my dress like a pro.
After the ceremony, she took my dog home safely and sent me updates every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind (especially as a total helicopter dog mom 🙈). I felt 100% at ease knowing my fur baby was in the best hands. And to top it all off — the photos of my dog were the cutest thing ever. If you’re considering having your pup be part of your big day, do yourself a favor and hire Madeline. She’s the best! 💛✨
