My husband and I interviewed several photographers prior to hiring Hannah to be our engagement and wedding photographer. From our first interaction with Hannah, we knew we had found our dream photographer. What stuck out about Hannah initially was her beautiful array of photos on her social media and her enthusiasm in her very friendly and informative introductory email to us. We began the process of hiring Hannah with a Zoom meeting, as we began this process in the pandemic summer of 2020. From the first few moments we knew she would be a great fit for us. She was clearly talented, passionate, and very personable. When hiring a photographer many might overlook that final characteristic, but after taking 3 hours worth of couples, family, and bridal party photos, you need someone that is going to keep the energy up all while capturing amazing styled and candid photos. We were so happy with the work product Hannah produced from the engagement shoot in October of 2020 and it got us all the more excited for our big day. Leading up to our wedding day in October of 2021, Hannah was very helpful in creating a timeline to ensure we got all the shots on our list planned out. On the day of the wedding Hannah was timely, professional, and just out spoken enough to help wrangle our enormous family, which is no small feet. She captured every photo we had requested and so many more. By the end of the night I found myself shooing her away because her time was up, but she is such a perfectionist she just kept snapping more photos. When the day came for our reveal, Hannah had us to her studio to show us the final product; with a nice spread of charcuterie and bubbly. It was a lovely above and beyond experience my husband and I were not expecting but very much appreciated. The photos were absolutely breath taking. I am finding it difficult to only select a few photos to share with this post. We are thrilled to have these picture to look back on for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about Hannah. I 110% recommend you hire her for your wedding photography needs. -

I firmly believe that our wedding day would not have been what it what without Hannah and her team. From the day I met her I realized that not only would she be capturing the timeless moments of our wedding day, but she would become a forever friend. Hannah made my husband and I feel comfortable, calm and ourselves in front of the camera, which is not an easy thing to do! She encouraged us to be ourselves and allowed us to lose ourselves in the beauty of the day, while also making sure to find the the most precious moments to capture. Hannah and her team and thorough, reliable, and heartfelt. They truly just love LOVE! I would choose Hannah Lux Photography 100x over, she is the best choice to go with to trust with your special day. -

So Many Photos and So Wonderful!
When we were looking for our wedding photographer, we heard about Hannah, took a look at her website, and decided her photos were exactly what we were looking for. Her photography for our wedding proved this to be totally true. We found Hannah has an incredible talent for capturing the moments you most want. She and her team were able to capture all the family and friends we could have wanted at a 180 person wedding. They not only did an excellent technical job of the photos, but clearly have a lot of experience handling all situations, taking a quick look at the scene and figuring out the best shots, and executing it all seamlessly.
We absolutely recommend her. If you’re looking for a photographer, just go take a look at her work, and you’ll know what you’ll be getting. Really excellent work! -

Have you ever had a moment that you wanted to experience over and over again. Thanks to Hannah, our perfect day is one we get to cherish forever. Immediately upon reaching out, she invited us to get to know her and her style to ensure we were a great match. She encourages you to truly be yourself and thrives on picturing the true essence of a moment rather than a posed photo. She is incredibly organized and creates a realistic timeline that encompasses everything the couple wants out of the day. She will encourage taking as many shots as you want while keeping you on track so you don’t forget any.
Her team is experienced and able to tame and wrangle the most rowdy of players while getting the most epic pictures. Not only does she give you a full day of shots but she also is on her toes adding in extras as her artistic eye finds specials places in each venue she visits. Hannah and her team helped from starting early, encouraging personality, set up shots, multiple views, even helped me in and out of my dress to change into my extra outfit. Her pictures are delivered at an incredible rate and beyond exceptional. They are professional and the quality was unmatched. She deserves to charge 10x more for the memories, quality and quantity of pictures that she provides.
Hannah is a force to be reckoned with and truly an honor to have had as part of our wedding. Hannah and her team were the most exceptional part of our special day. I can not say enough about her photography but also her as a human. Special doesn’t even do it justice. I wish everyone is lucky enough to experience what a compassionate, kind, talented, and professional Hannah is (and her team). As Hannah remains a superior force, she only employs people with the same vision, professionalism, and heart that she holds. -

Hannah was amazing to work with! My whole family was impressed and happy with her and her assistant, Dyan. They were attentive and made all our formalities fun! Hannah remembered all of the special shots I wanted. Something I didn’t expect but loved was that she had taken so many pictures of our guests and parts of the day that we really didn’t get to see! She also included an engagement shoot in our package and when I wanted to send out my save the dates by Christmas she was very understanding and sent them to me early. She edited every single wedding picture and they are GORGEOUS!!! -

You don't just want her, you NEED her!
Hannah was by far the best vendor we hired for our wedding in Saratoga. She was amazing to work with before, during, and even after our day! Her attention to detail, and ability to capture moments you didn't know you needed to remember are only some of her strongest qualities as an artist. We found the best photographer in the business and we could not recommend her enough. Hannah made our day so seamless with her minute by minute planning, amazing day of crew, and of course her bubbly and sweet personality. 6 months later and we still get questioned on who did our photos and how lovely she was. 12/10, if you are at all considering Hannah for your special day here is your sign. We can't put into words how grateful we are that we found Hannah. She made us feel so comfortable from the beginning at our engagement photos and was a pleasure to work with throughout the entirety of our wedding planning.
The "day of" timeline was one of the things that was stressing me out the most and she took care of it all and kept everything so organized (especially during the family photos). Eric, her second shooter, and Lindsey, her assistant, were both so great as well. Hannah is the sweetest person and we were so confident going into our wedding day that our photos would turn out amazing and the day would run smoothly- and it did! Her photos are timeless and we will now have beautiful memories to look back on for the rest of our lives.
I would recommend Hannah to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer! She really knows what she's doing and hiring Hannah as your wedding photographer will probably be the easiest decision you make! -

Versatile Skill Set, Flexible, Fun & Creative
Hannah was great for our engagement and wedding photos. We had a three day wedding mixed with Indian and American traditions. She was quick to learn the small details for each day, which was not easy considering how different each event was! Her and her team were on top of every small detail and their stamina was incredible.
She was easy going with the different looks and photo set ups we wanted and was flexible with her own schedule, and even stayed for an additional hour on the last night of our wedding per our last minute request.
I absolutely love my wedding photos - she captured everything so beautifully and we felt so comfortable having her there on our special day(s)!

We booked Hannah more than two years out from our wedding date. She was the first vendor we booked after securing our venue and we are very happy with our decision. From engagement photos to wedding photos, the product received exceeds all our expectations. We love looking back on these memories. A seasoned, professional, and caring photographer is well worth the investment. You can tell she is truly compassionate about each of her couples and wants to deliver perfection - which she achieves! There are truly no words to describe the impact that Hannah and her team had on not only our our special day, but the entire year leading up to it as well, but I’m going to do my best to try.
We found and hired Hannah in September 2022 for our October 2023 wedding. At this point in our wedding planning process, I had booked the venue of my dreams and knew I wanted it captured by the best photographer we could find. I found Hannah’s website, could not stop reading her words and knew that she was the photographer that we NEEDED to capture our day.
Talking to her felt like reconnecting with a long lost friend. We immediately booked our engagement shoot for the following month in Lake George. My now husband is very shy but Hannah was able to immediately make him feel comfortable in front of the camera. Having never done anything like that before, I was so nervous after the shoot about what we would look like in them. Hannah delivered sneak peaks so quickly and they brought us to tears - she captured our love so beautifully. And we had the best time with her while shooting!
Leading up to our wedding day, Hannah was very communicative and helped tremendously with our timeline. And when I say helped, I mean she put together a super detailed timeline of when we’d do each of the photos we wanted and was sure to incorporate everything we wanted while still pitching new ideas and suggestions. Wedding photography was one of the most important things to us however we wanted the photos to be about the day as opposed to the day being about the photos.
The night before my wedding when we got some bad news, Hannah immediately answered the phone and provided reassurance, positivity and love.
The package we chose with HLP included Hannah as our lead shooter, a second shooter and an assistant on our wedding day. When the three of them entered my bridal suite, they were an instant calming presence which continued throughout the entire day.
Dyan, our second shooter was a total rockstar! She made my husband and I feel instantly comfortable, and was more than willing to do getting ready photos of him with our dog - and was very good with her which pet parents will understand says more than anything else I could possibly say.
Autumn, our assistant is one of the sweetest, most attentive people I have ever met. When it started to drizzle during family photos before the ceremony, Autumn made sure I made it to coverage. Then, when I got beer spilled on me before the ceremony, Autumn rushed me to the bathroom and got it right out of my dress and no one even knew.
I truly don’t know how the day would have gone without these three and I’m so grateful I didn’t have to find out.
The story isn’t over yet…in less than 72 hours after our wedding, Hannah delivered almost 100 sneak peaks of our day, all of which were breathtaking and left me speechless and in tears of joy.
Hannah has a unique way of understanding what her clients want in their photos as well as their experience and then exceeding all possible expectations.
Hannah is obviously very talented and even saying that sounds like a huge understatement. But on top of her talent, Hannah is caring, passionate, attentive, detail organized, creative, and the list goes on. There are many great photographers but there isn’t a better person than Hannah. If you want someone who cares about you and your wedding as much as you do, hire Hannah immediately. We cannot recommend her enough. -

HIGHLY recommend Hannah!!!
We hired Hannah as our wedding photographer in the summer of 2022 for our July 2023 wedding and it was hands down the best decision we made! Hannah is extremely personable, responsive, creative, and talented. We chose a package that included an engagement session. I asked Hannah if she would be willing to travel to Cape Cod for beach pictures and without hesitation Hannah met us in Cape Cod a couple of weeks later. Our session with her was fun and she made us both feel so comfortable - especially considering my husband hates his picture taken, she had her work cut out for herself but she did it with ease! We knew right away we had chosen the right photographer to capture our wedding day. When our wedding day was approaching, Hannah created an organized timeline and we went through the flow of the day which helped with any anxieties. On the day of, Hannah and her team were AMAZING. They helped make everything run so smoothly, we took sooo many pictures while also laughing and having fun and taking time to enjoy all the moments. The sneak peeks we received the next day were beautiful and we are so excited to see the whole album!! Do yourself a favor and hire Hannah to capture all your big life events! -

The BEST photographer!
We can’t thank and recommend Hannah and her team enough!! We are SO grateful to have had her as our wedding and engagement shoot photographer! Hannah is incredibly talented and the photos that she delivered are priceless. Her photography skills are truly unmatched. She has a keen attention to detail and does a beautiful job at capturing your day with a mix of classic wedding photos and unique candids, which creates the most timeless and special picture memories. Hannah also does all of the photo editing herself, which guarantees that you will get her top quality and careful work on literally every photo that she delivers!
Not only is Hannah extremely skilled at photography, but she is a wonderful wedding vendor to work with. She is professional, responsive, helpful and organized. On our wedding day, it was immediately apparent how much prep work she put into the day. She worked with us ahead of time to create a timeline for the day and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. She even knew family member and wedding party names which helped so much for efficiently organizing photos!
Hannah and her team set the tone for our wedding day and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way - they are the absolute BEST! Thank you HLP!!! -

The best photographer (and team) EVER
Hannah is the best in the game. She was the first vendor we chose, even before we had a venue. I met Hannah while she was shooting my friends' engagement in 2020 and from that moment I knew if and when I got married she would have to be my photographer. Hannah is professional, she is courteous, she is kind and has a big heart. She LOVES what she does. She is a dream to work with. She makes you feel like you're her only client with 110% focus and attention on making you feel like the most special people ever. We did our engagement photos with Hannah, which we ultimately used for save the dates and Christmas cards. Then, because they were so beautiful, we hung almost all of them around our home. Our engagement shoot was a dream - Hannah was super flexible and helped us get creative when we were worried rain would ruin the shoot (the sun came out just in time!). Hannah was patient with us and suggested so many gorgeous shots we never would have thought of on our own. She was also just FUN to work with - laughing with us and making us feel at ease. Having your picture taken in a public setting can be nerve wracking and make you feel self conscious, but not with Hannah. She made us feel like we were the only people there and helped us let loose and feel free to be silly. Afterwards, Hannah delivered to us the most stunning gallery of photos that we will cherish forever. Fast forward to working with Hannah for our wedding. One thing I loved about working with Hannah is she is diligent and prepared - she sent us checklists and questionnaires before our wedding to help her get to know us and get to know what we are looking for on our wedding day. This helped us think of exactly what we wanted and what we were looking for, as well as ensure that we could get all of the special photos that we wanted. I thought this attention to detail and ability to prioritize what we want and need. Then she helped us develop the timeline for the day of, which in my opinion goes way above and beyond the call of duty - she helped US figure out how to structure our day, which is just a dream. The day of the wedding she was INCREDIBLE, as was her team (second shooter Dyan and assistant Lindsey). Everyone RAVED over how amazing they were to work with and how incredible they were just as PEOPLE. They were so fun and kind and patient with everyone. With a huge wedding party and a huge guest list, they made sure to be everywhere all at once and get amazing photos. Hannah knows what shots to get and made sure that we checked off our list of things that we wanted for photos. She was so attentive and such a rockstar on the day of our wedding, and we already have friends asking to call her! I have so many friends who have worked with Hannah and I would recommend her to EVERYONE. Now as far as Hannah's photos - they are a work of art. Hannah captures feelings and love in her photos, which is hard to do. Her photos aren't just these forced formal photos - they are filled with LOVE, JOY, and HEART. There are no "stock photo" type photos in Hannah's gallery. Her photos capture the love that you feel on your most important days and captures the details you didn't even notice before. A tear rolling down your face during vows, or a look from a guest seeing you walk down the aisle, or family members beaming with joy - she sees that and she gets it all. She gets the moments between you and your partner where you think no one else is looking, the whisper in the ear, or the laugh during cocktail hour. She SEES IT. Her photos are like seeing your best day through your own eyes, except their through her lens with the most beautiful view. Hannah is exceptional, as a person and a professional. She is the best there ever was and she just continues to excel in her field. She loves what she does, she loves her couples, and she welcomes them into the HLP family. She is a special person and makes you feel like a million bucks. Do not wait to call her - call her before someone else beats you to it! :) -

The best Photographer
Hannah creates magic. She has captured the most special moments of my and my husband now lives! I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone who wants a true professional to create a customized photography experience. There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Hannah’s snaps. She has a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions. A True Documentarian - Hire Her!!
Hannah has this chameleon ability – she melts into the scenery to capture your most precious moments without making you feel uncomfortable that you have an audience and cameras on you. She will match your vibe, hype you up, and break any discomfort with surprisingly endearing dad jokes and self-deprecation. If you have a vision, she will transform it into an elegant dream and deliver photos that transport you back to the most beautiful day of your life with just one look. During our honeymoon, just when the post-wedding blues were at their height, my email dinged and our sneak peeks were ready. I knew that Hannah would not disappoint – booking her is a guarantee that you will have flawless photos you will love, that is a given – but I wasn’t expecting the rush of emotion that would accompany the photos. I was feeling overwhelmed and a little blue that after two years of constant planning, prep, and anticipation, our wedding was over in a flash. But with each photo, I was transported back to the moment Hannah captured, I felt the excitement I had as I reached for my husband during our first look, the abundance of love I felt as my Dad walked me down the aisle, through the rows of people we love most, to my husband. The joy and happiness of walking hand in hand through the streets at sunset between the ceremony and reception. Hannah is not only a luxury photographer, she is also a true documentarian, and she captured every moment, every feeling of anticipation, excitement, love, and joy, and her photos are a time capsule that allows you to relive it all for the rest of your life.

Can't stop, won't stop. I will forever be recommending Hannah and raving about what an amazing photographer she is. Not only is Hannah a beautiful person inside and out, she is the perfect mix between professional and personal. She is as invested in your day and in your shoot as you are and it shows! She knows how to make you feel at ease in front of the camera and is an expert at capturing every moment you could think of and the ones you didn't even know happened. And when she delivers your gallery, she gets excited and hyped up alongside you and is your own personal cheerleader. Not to mention you get every photo possible back. On top of all that awesomeness, the day of the wedding, Hannah took the reins in making sure we had anything and everything we needed and were in the right place at the right time. Her title is "photographer" but she takes it upon herself to be more than that and be whatever you need. I had followed her photography career for some time and I knew from the moment I got engaged that I wanted Hannah as our wedding photographer! To me, photography is one of the most important vendors you book so it was extremely important for me to book the right person and BOY DID WE! We got so many compliments about her the day of the wedding and when we got our photos back. We love you Hannah! -

I always felt like photography is one of the most important aspects of a wedding. After all the hectic-ness is over with, and the day feels like a blur, photos are the one thing that'll help you relive and remember your special day.
So, I spent weeks researching different photographers looking at their galleries, instagrams, styles and overall persona (before & after I was engaged, LOL). Each time, I'd find myself gravitating back to Hannah. Her eye for detail, candid (yet perfectly posed) style and her beautiful presence on social media completely sealed the deal for us. Speaking to her for the first time only made us feel even more confident with our decision; quite seriously a quality human being & photography magician.
She was easily our best wedding decision and hands down SO worth it! It's evident that she truly cares for each and every one of her clients; and puts so much effort into making her galleries absolutely perfect for each and every couple. We gained not only a photographer for lifeee, but a friend as well. If you're questioning whether or not to hire Hannah, ~just do it~ (as Nike would say). I promise you, you absolutely won't regret it. -

I don't think we can fully encapsulate in this review how pleased and grateful we are for Hannah, her team, and her gorgeous photos. She came highly recommended from other couples we knew. Hannah became our #1 top choice not only because her work is magnificent, but because, as we scrolled through, her photos were the only ones that made us feel emotion for the couples and families she captured-- and we didn't even know those clients! That is what makes her an artist in her field. We loved her from our very first video call. She is so open to understanding whatever is special to the couple without judgment. Hannah was great during our engagement shoot and we really got to know her-- she interacts on social media and by the time our wedding day rolled around we were genuinely excited to hang out with her! After our engagement shoot, Tom said that she was someone he felt he could sit down and have a beer with and that was something that was important to us. Someone that we could be comfortable with on a day that can be so hectic!
Her organization and ability to create a wedding day timeline is absolutely unmatched. She will think of things that aren't even on your radar and then put that plan into motion. She is such a professional, has worked with such a variety of vendors, and gives great advice.
As far as her work is concerned, the photos speak for themselves. Hannah and her team caught such great candid moments, worked well with our flower girl, our church, and our families. We are certain she even kept working past the agreed end time to continue getting photos. The photos are bright and we cannot wait to frame them. We have SO. MANY. FAVORITES!
We are sure you will enjoy her finished product, and honestly I think we found our forever photographer. -

Hannah was the best! She not only took so many amazing photos but was able to keep us on schedule. She also is the sweetest person ever who made my husband, bridal party and my self feel so comfortable.
All of our wedding photos are so amazing I can’t decide which ones I’ll print. I go through them a lot and there is not one photo I don’t like!

Highly Recommend!!
Hannah was truly one of the best parts of our wedding. From her amazing communication through the entire process, to her organization, professionalism, and obvious talent.
On the day of our wedding our timeline was a little messed up/behind and Hannah did not skip a beat. She made us feel so relaxed and calm about it and truly helped us just go with the flow. She basically doubled as our wedding planner (and truly outshined our actual wedding planner!!). My husband still raves about how great Hannah was which speaks volumes.
Did I mention our pictures are stunning? They are literally plastered all over our house. I cannot say enough good things about Hannah Lux Photography. Please book her she is such a sweet amazing human, you will not be disappointed! -

Perfectly captured my big day(s)!!
I first booked Hannah back in January of 2020; her personality shown through her website and I was instantly hooked and knew I wanted to work with her! She stuck it out through three different dates with us; always being SUPER accommodating as we were trying to navigate how to have a COVID wedding. She shot our micro ceremony with just family and the photos were absolutely beautiful!!! All my guests commented on nice she was and great to work with. She followed that by knocking our socks off completely with the photos from our postponed ceremony that we were finally able to have on April 23, 2022. The photos are memories I will cherish forever. She even went out of her way to immediately add photos to my gallery of my late grandfather for me as soon as I reached out following his passing. Book Hannah- it will be the easiest decision you make during your wedding planning!!! -

Wish we had hired Hannah from the start! After not being happy with how our wedding photos came out with another vendor, we did an hour "re-do" with Hannah. I was extremely lucky to have Hannah as our photographer in our Summer 2021 wedding. We tried an engagement shoot with another photographer and felt so awkward in front of the camera that we barely liked any of our photos. We switched to Hannah and when we did our engagement shoot with her we knew things were different, in all the best ways! She made us feel at ease, gave us helpful direction and made us look great.
Hannah was available via email, text and calls to help us get prepared for the big day. She organized a detailed itinerary for the day and included all the shots we requested. When our wedding day finally arrived, I had some nervousness about having "all eyes on me," but Hannah came in with a calm and confident energy that swept through the room. Somehow she manages to have a commanding presence when directing drunken groomsmen for group pictures, yet is able to shrink back so you hardly noticed her capturing all these beautiful, quiet, sweet, moments that you don't even realize until you get your photos back. I could not be more thankful to have had her as part of our vendor team. She truly exceeded my expectations and I will cherish these photos forever! -

I first saw Hannah's work two years ago and fell in love! So when I got engaged in 2020, Hannah was the first person my fiance and I contacted. Photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding for me as that is the one piece of the day that you will get to relive over and over again through photos. She made all of my little girl wedding dreams a reality!! She photographed both our engagement session and our wedding this past Summer and we are obsessed with all of the photos... Hannah was so easy to work with, she listed to our ideas but also gave us helpful guidance based on her experience, she was a calming presence the day of the wedding and she captured all the shots we were hoping for and more. We loved her so much that we recommended her to our cousin and his fiance and they are now using her as their photographer in 2022 :) Anyone reading this should hire Hannah ASAP because she is fantastic!! -

We hired Hannah as our engagement and wedding photographer and we are so incredibly happy we did! Hannah was with us through every step and was always available for any questions we had leading up to our big day. On our actual wedding day, it was scheduled to rain and Hannah created two day-of timelines- one for rain and one for no-rain which made the whole day much less stressful. Not only did she work so seamlessly with her second shooter, but even with our DJ and videographer. She was incredibly organized and efficient with our large group family shots and took the most stunning couples portraits and wedding photos that we will cherish forever. She even invited us over to her photo studio for an in-person photo reveal party which was so fun and special. Prior to our engagement photos, we had never gotten professional photos done but Hannah made the photo-taking fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend Hannah for engagement and wedding photos- she will not disappoint and will go above and beyond to make your photos beautiful! -

When it comes to weddings - lets be real - the photos are MOST important. I did so much research & called SO many vendors to ask questions, see how they operate & to see if they would work within our budget. LET ME TELL YOU, Hannah checked all of our boxes!! We booked a time to talk on the phone and her sweet, fun, energetic personality radiated through the phone. I knew she was the one right away. Seeing all of her work & listening to her wedding day photo game plan just felt SO RIGHT!! Our wedding was June 2021 and 3 of my friends have already booked her for upcoming events they had. To know her it to love her. She has a serious vision and is NOT afraid to get creative (like hiding behind a tree while taking a pic so the leaves can hang JUST right and get into the shot). Hannah is the best decision I made for my entire wedding day. 10/10 recommend -

Hiring Hannah was one of the best decisions that my husband and I made during wedding planning. From our first phone call, we knew that Hannah was the best photographer for us. She's super fun and very personable. We had our engagement photoshoot ~10 months before the wedding at Lake George, which helped us get comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I were stunned with how beautiful the engagement photos were and even more blown away with our wedding photos! Hannah was so excellent on our wedding day. So many of our guests said how great she was and how beautiful the photos were. Hannah was always very responsive and communicated clearly and efficiently. On our wedding day, she was very go-with-the-flow and helped calm me down when things hit the fan. You never know what will happen our your wedding day...crying babies during family photos or a little too much fun at cocktail hour. Hannah helped re-arrange our photo list and even was able to photoshop in a missing family member in one of the group shots! We couldn't be happier with the pictures that we have now for a lifetime. I cannot recommend Hannah enough! She is everything you are looking for and more. This was my first professional photo shoot and my fiancé and I were incredibly nervous about it. The second that Hannah stepped out of her vehicle she made us both feel so comfortable. She is super silly and funny and extremely easy to work with. Here's why:
I had originally picked out the location I thought I was absolutely in love with, and even though it required a two hour hike, she was willing to work with me. Little did I know that this location was a four hour drive from my home. I called her HOURS before the shoot without any idea as to what the new location would be and she graciously offered different options and had no problem with the unexpected change of plans (or my lack of preparation.)
Now for the actual shoot, everything came out beautifully. I myself am a little awkward and I don't know anything about poses, but with Hannah's guide my pictures came out better than I could have dreamed. My fiancé HATES taking pictures but it didn't seem like it in her shots. Hannah and her dad jokes had us really laughing and smiling the whole time.
If this is your first photo session or not I think Hannah is the way to go. Your pictures won't come out the way you want, they'll come out BETTER.

Hannah was the most perfect photographer we could have imagined!!!! I can not recommend her enough. Covid hit and completely changed our plans, and Hannah was holding our hand every step of the way, tailoring our package to exactly what we needed, making it so easy for us. Our of all of our vendors, I knew that I at least didn't have to stress about photography because of Hannah. Fast forward to the day of - she was SO easy to work with and talk to. I felt like I could tell her anything I wanted in a shot and she would make it happen. She navigated the day so smoothly!! All of our shots came out beautiful and exactly how I wanted them. Hannah was quite literally the best thing that happened to us throughout the craziness that is planning a wedding during COVID-19. Our venue was unable to host our wedding as a result of covid-19 and hannah stood by our side as we figured out what to do and were able to plan a last minute small celebration in my husband’s parents’ backyard (3 hours away from our original venue). Hannah is professional and kind - and the best part is that her pictures are INSANELY GORGEOUS!!!! I don’t generally write reviews but I wanted anyone planning a wedding and looking for a photographer to know how amazing it is to work with Hannah, both during the fun parts and the difficult parts of wedding planning. Hannah is easy to connect with from the moment you meet her, which is important when taking photos!! She made the shoot enjoyable. Engagement Shoot
Hannah Lux Photography is strongly recommended!! Hannah should definitely be your first call when looking for a reliable and professional photographer who knows how to capture the best moments of your big day (in our case our engagement) and the best photos. I was referred to Hannah by a friend who used her for both their engagement and wedding shoot and the quality of her work was immediately apparent. She was highly responsive as I was planning the perfect place to pop the big question and she arrived at the venue on time (actually arrived 2 hours early to ensure no snafus) with a big smile and professional attitude. She even traveled 3+ hours each way to NYC for the shoot, which shows so much dedication. It goes without saying that the photos came out incredibly! Hannah captured the best moments, from me down on one knee, tears and hugging with our family, to great shots overlooking NYC. Jordan and I got engaged in June 2019, and I immediately started looking up and following photographers in the area. I had reached out to several, only to be disappointed either in their packages or how they responded. Then I came across Hannah. I instantly sent her a message on Instagram (if you’re not following her yet, go follow!) and she responded very promptly! From that point on, the rest is history. She made Jordan and I feel SO comfortable, welcome, and at ease! She consistently made it known that whatever we were looking for, whatever concerns we had, she would go above and beyond to make sure we had EVERYTHING and then so, so much more from her stunning photos. She’s personable, friendly, kind-hearted, genuine, and just such a purely good individual. I cannot put into words how incredibly lucky and fortunate we feel to have had Hannah take our engagement photos and to also be our wedding photographer! Jordan and I had changed our wedding plans 2/3~ish times *yikes* BUT one thing that remained a constant for us was if Hannah would have the new date available and if she’d be down to travel (which she totally is)! Our number one priority throughout rearranging our wedding plans was ensuring Hannah would still be there. She IS the best. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with choosing Hannah as your photographer. Jordan and I have made such an everlasting connection with her, that we even talk about asking her to shoot maternity photos for me (one day), and newborn/family pictures as well. My fiancé and I couldn’t have had a better experience with Hannah. We did a engagement shoot with her, and we were a little nervous to do something that made us somewhat uncomfortable. She did a great job of making the shoot fun and easy going, and we ended up having a great time! Her ideas of where to shoot and different angles she captured us were spot on, and it was very clear she was a professional. When we received our pictures we were blown away! After multiple searches, attending bridal shows, and contacting a ton of other photographers, I found Hannah. After our first email and then phone conversation, I knew she was the photographer for us! Hannah was very responsive and answered any and all questions my husband and I had! Our package included an engagement session (which we highly recommend), and is the perfect way to get to know each other before the big day. We forewarned her that we were camera shy, and she assured us we'd be just fine. Hannah is amazing at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and provides perfect direction. Our wedding was the best day EVER, and Hannah captured the most beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. I've actually said that if I ever need professional pictures taken again, Hannah will be the one taking them. When I started looking for photographers for our wedding, it seemed a bit daunting. There are so many! However, when I reached out to a few on this site Hannah's response stuck out because she took the time to send me a lengthy message describing her and her approach to photography. I then reached out via phone and I felt we truly clicked! She addressed all of our questions and was very willing to work with me and my now husbands wants/needs. Hiring her was truly seamless.
Our package included an engagement session which was the best idea. We were able to meet and get to know Hannah so we could build a relationship before the big day. She made us feel so comfortable, cracking jokes and getting us to laugh, which really beings out the best pictures of a person. Hannah is very down to earth and personable!
On the day of our wedding, Hannah and her second shooter Livi captured every single amazing and beautiful moment! They excelled at always being in the right place at the right time but without being obvious. I told my husband as we were looking at our gallery that they were so stealthy because I didn't even remember them taking half of those pics!!! :-). I absolutely recommend a photographer with a second shooter for your big day, it really makes all the difference. No detail will be missed. And Hannah Lux Photography was just the best!! She delivered the most beautiful gallery with pictures that will last a lifetime. Remember, many memories may fade but your pictures will last forever!! Up with us if we had more questions. She took the time to meet with us multiple times before our wedding to get our timeline and all the details perfect ahead of time. She even memorized the names of our wedding party and all the group photos we wanted! On the day of the wedding Hannah and her second shooter went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and to ensure we got those perfect shots! Her second shooter put the boutonnières on the men and even found someone to help open our huge bottle of wine! She got us a bunch of really amazing previews early the next day which meant so much to us. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was picking Hannah as our photographer. Hannah is straight up amazing. She goes above and beyond to capture every shot and angle. She is crazy flexible when it comes to travel. No problem what so ever with us getting couples photos in a secondary location to the ceremony and was so amazing. She helped us position perfectly, which was so helpful because I sometimes feel awkward in front of the camera, but she made the experience so relaxing and fun. She has crazy stamina and was all over taking perfect pictures. She got me teasers almost right away and I was blown away. She captured the total elf nature vibe we were going for and made the day so stress free. Hannah is literally perfect. 😊 she’s also so great about including pets in the shots. Couldn’t be happier or more satisfied.

Hannah was an amazing fit for our recent wedding at Lucas Confectionery! Throughout the entire planning process, she was responsive, professional, and on top of her photography game.
