Perfect Vendor for a Beautiful, Personalized Wedding
It was such a joy to work with Allison, and I definitely recommend her work to make your wedding extra special.
When I first met Allison, I was feeling very anxious because I put my wedding together in just 3.5 months. I was worried I was doing everything wrong since I hadn’t started planning a year in advance. But Allison immediately put me at ease, reassuring me that everything would be fine (and of course, it was in the end!).
We then worked on the designs for my wedding signs, menus, and table numbers. She truly captured the rustic barn atmosphere with flowers and an intimate ceremony vibe that I was aiming for. Most importantly, because she pays such great attention to detail and puts so much care into her work, every piece she created shone with heart, exactly what I wanted to share with my guests.
Allison also designed a special sign featuring my wedding venue, which I will treasure forever, especially since the venue is no longer hosting weddings (at least for the time being). When I saw everything come together in the reception hall—the flowers, menus, candles, champagne glasses—I was nearly in tears because, not even in my wildest dreams, did I imagine it would turn out so beautifully.
The only regret I have is not having met Allison sooner so that I could have asked her to design my wedding invitations as well. I also want to emphasize that Allison works quickly, is extremely responsive, and made the process of receiving all our pieces so easy. You’ll be incredibly grateful not to have to worry about an unresponsive vendor amidst everything else going on.
For anyone who loves art and beauty, and wants to avoid the generic wedding look at all costs, you won’t regret this investment. I promise! -

Allison created beautiful watercolor invitations and day-of paper (e.g. drink signs, programs, menus, etc.) for our August wedding. We knew we wanted an invitation suite that was unique and custom to our wedding and not something cookie cutter. She brought our vision to life, and it was fun to see the designs evolve through multiple design reviews, from sketch to full watercolor. We got a ton of compliments on all of it and some family members even framed our invitation they loved it so much. Allison was easy to communicate with and was a good listener throughout the process. Highly recommend using Allison for all of your wedding paper needs! -

Absolutely incredible
From the start, working with hand painted weddings was so easy and she worked so hard to make everything perfect for me. Our save the dates and invitations were absolutely beautiful and everything I wanted them to be. I can’t say enough good things about her and how hard she worked to bring my vision to life. Our guests raved about our save the dates and invitations. We have them framed in our house as a keepsake from our day. -

All I can say is WOW. Allison curated the most stunning invitations and save-the-dates for us, transforming our vision beautifully into watercolor. We loved her work so much that we asked her to design a substantial portion of our wedding signage. She was so flexible when we had to postpone our wedding (and hence some of our signage projects) due to COVID, and made us some gorgeous "change the dates". I am a detail-oriented and Type A person with high standards for professionalism and punctuality - and she exceeded all of my expectations. If you want gorgeous, original invitations, signage or whatever you may need, go to Allison!!! You won't regret it. -

This review is long overdue, but it would be very remiss of us not to express our extreme gratitude for the beautifully hand-painted, one-of-a-kind wedding invitations that Allison created for our special day.
From the moment I contacted Allison I knew I had found a talented artist to make my invitation vision come to life!
My husband and I decided to have a small wedding with just our immediate families at our newly purchased home. We were looking to add some unique features to make our wedding day extra special. And so, we decided to commemorate our special wedding day by finding an artist to create a watercolor invitation featuring our new home/wedding venue.
After doing extensive research, I contacted Allison and I am so glad I did! She exceeded all my expectations! Wedding planning on your own can be overwhelming, but Allison's process to making the invitations was thorough, simple and very pleasant. Not only was the process pleasant, but her communication and response time was impeccable!
The design drafts she created for us were gorgeous. It was difficult to decide on one design, but after much debate, my husband and I decided on our design. I remember feeling so excited to share them with our families. I have to say, both of our families still have their invitations. They said that it was not just another wedding invitation but a piece of art, and I couldn't agree with them more! And so, I just had to get an 8 x 8 keepsake of our wedding day invitation to frame and display in our home.
My hubsand and I absolutely loved working with Allison! I absolutely love her work and look forward to working with her in the future.
Allison, thank you so much for making our wedding day invitations a treasured keepsake and for your beautiful hand-written and painted thank you card.

Destination Wedding (Save the Dates)
We started working with Allison in early December 2021 to design our destination wedding save the dates. Even with the holidays it only took a short month to complete the entire process. Allison is professional, responsive, detailed, considerate, open to new ideas and a master at her craft. Our Save the Dates are more than just what we asked for. They are beautiful. I would recommend ANYONE looking to create your dream wedding material to look no further than Allison. We will be using her again in the near future and sharing her information with everyone we know. You will not only be happy with your designs but trying to figure out where else you might be able to use her products. -

I worked with Allison at Hand Painted Weddings to design custom save-the-dates and invitation suite for my destination wedding. The designs and custom paintings were absolutely beautiful and better than I could have imagined. After creating a pinterest board and having a quick concept phone call, Allison designed and painted a unique custom map of my wedding location, and then later created gorgeous invitations, reply cards, and info cards for the wedding invitation suite. I received TONS of compliments on the save-the-dates and invitations and really enjoyed the process of creating them. My husband and I will forever cherish the stationary and how much the designs embodied the spirit and beauty of our wedding. -

It was such a pleasure working with Allison on all the stationery for our wedding. I first reached out in 2019 pre-pandemic, to work together on our invitation designs. Allison responded very promptly and we had a call together to discuss everything I had in mind for the design. She really captured what we were trying to create, with a custom watercolor map, invitation, and timeline. We ended up needing to postpone our wedding but when the new date was set, I reached back out to Allison for her help on the day-of stationery. She also helped us in creating an edited version of the invitation with the correct date as a keepsake. She designed our menu, bar sign for custom cocktails, and even worked together with me so that we could have a ceremony program that also doubled as a fan for guests on the hot day. She always did a great job making adjustments to the design based on my feedback and we received all the items in great condition and on time. Being able to work together on all the items was also great since it made it easy and everything had a consistent design to it. I'd definitely recommend Allison to anyone looking for custom watercolor designs!! -

Incredible Experience!
Allison is absolutely incredible to work with and I cannot recommend her enough!! Not only is she amazingly talented, but she is so sweet and extremely prompt! I love decor and art, so my invitations were possibly the most exciting part of my wedding for me, planning-wise. She made my vision come true and kept to my timeline. Amazing invites
don’t know how to put into words the quality and service that we received from Allison. The attention to detail, the one on one personalized attention and the beautiful design she created for us was amazing. Right from the start Allison gave us amazing customer service and had patience of a saint to handle all of our changes. Having never planned a wedding before, we were completely lost on what to include and not include. But Allison held our hand and gave us everything we asked, we couldn’t be more excited and happy with our invites and can’t wait to show them off to our guests.

I had a vision for my wedding including lots of color, my maltese, and FLOWERS!! I have always loved stationary (my first job was at Hallmark- I routinely send birthday, Christmas and Valentine's cards!) and envisioned something personal for my upcoming wedding. I initially contacted Allison interested in a save-the-date. I emailed her photos of what I had in mind. Her ability to bring my dream to life through a few photos and emails is out of this world! I seriously can't say it enough!!! My friends and family were blown away with the quality of her work including the intricate details and design!! It uniquely defined me!!! The stationary is even printed on watercolor paper so they each feel "original"! She was very responsive and timely! Throughout the designing process we decided to proceed with a wedding invitation, a RSVP card, a map with a detail card on the back, our rehearsal dinner invitation and an envelope liner! She printed the addresses for our save-the-dates after I sent her my address list and printed our return address on our wedding invitations and RSVP cards in custom ink! We discussed letterpress and foiling, although I decided against that. I am interested in having a matching program made into a fan for my ceremony as well! Each piece compliments the others perfectly so that they are each individual but connected through a flowing theme! I have framed the original save-the-date and it is hanging on my wall! A true piece of artwork I will cherish for a lifetime and my wedding guests surely won't forget! My stationary suite has definitely become the cornerstone of my wedding, uniting all of the details! Easily, the best decision and investment I have made thus far (although I'm also excited about my gown and cake, as well! :-)) I can't thank you enough, Allison!!! -

Allison was so incredibly wonderful to work with for our wedding stationary, I can not speak highly enough. She took the images we provided her and recreated them beautifully. She was super easy to work with, incorporated any editing requests, even started over from scratch at one point, and still delivered all our stationary items on time. Our guests LOVED their invites. Her price point is very competitive for the quality of service she provides. Allison is a gifted artist who made our vision come to life. She was a pleasure to work with and really took the time to immerse herself in our ideas for our destination wedding in Punta Cana. We hosted a Caribbean-themed welcome party on the beach the night before our wedding and wanted to celebrate our Dominican, West Indian and Guatemalan culture through the entertainment and stationary of the event. Allison took the time to research famed Dominican merengue artist, Juan Luis Guerra’s music and restaurant, Bachata Rosa, which inspired the decoration of our welcome party. She hand painted the menus with beautiful Lechones and Diablo Cojuelos as well as our gorgeous tropical table numbers. She also hand painted all of the stationary for our guests’ welcome bags like the itinerary, a popular Dominican sayings card and welcome tag. All of these pieces were the perfect accent to our welcome bags which were hand painted by local Dominican artisans. Allison also designed our beautiful wedding monogram which was inspired by the chandeliers that can be found throughout the resort where we were married. Working with Allison was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. All of our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything turned out and how they saved all of the creatives Allison made. If you’re looking for a vendor who pays careful attention to details and is passionate about her work, I confidently recommend Allison. She’s absolutely wonderful. -

She helped us designed the most perfect and unique illustrations exactly how we dreamt of.
