We hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Hampshire House the Friday before our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible, we chose the carving stations with turkey and salmon, and everyone raved about it.The quality and presentation were outstanding. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. The historic styling of the space created such a warm, elegant vibe, and guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the room was. After dinner, we opened things up for a welcome party with 120ish guests. The space fit everyone comfortably, it never felt crowded or overwhelming (which we were worried about). It was lively without being too loud, and bartenders kept lines short so no one ever waited long for a drink. The staff on the day was friendly, professional, and made everything run smoothly. During planning, we worked with Sydney, who was amazing. She made the entire process stress-free and painless, and was super fun to work with. She toured both our parents around the venue on separate occasions and made everyone feel excited and well-taken care of. We had our guests stay at the Park Plaza, hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at The Hampshire House and then our wedding nearby at The Tower. It was a perfect Boston wedding and great for out of town guests if you are wanting to showcase Boston and the historic and beautiful architecture. Many of our guests were from Chicago and also loved seeing the Cheers Bar underneath. Our event was great and we would highly recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House for any wedding event. -

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding than the Hampshire House. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful everything was.
The staff was truly outstanding—professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy our evening without worrying about a thing. A special thank-you to Brittney, who was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process. Elegant, intimate & stunning
From start to finish (and beyond), the staff at Hampshire House were incredible to work with. The Director of Sales, Michele Giacomozzi, was patient, knowledgeable, communicative, and helped us to create the wedding of our dreams! The day-of staff (Bartenders, waiters, kitchen, etc.) were all attentive and made the day effortless for my husband and me. Besides the staff, I appreciated how transparent Hampshire House was throughout the process - whether it be about pricing, chair upgrades or kids' meals, they made it easy to budget and understand what was included.
The venue itself was perfection - we absolutely fell in love with the 2nd floor library space when we visited and seeing it on the wedding day was so magical! The library exuded elegance and gave our night a cozy, intimate feel - all our guests loved it and felt it was so perfectly us. The long rectangle tables were great for conversation and left plenty of space for a dance party! Hampshire House is classic & quintessentially Boston; I can't recommend the space enough!
Lastly, but certainly not least, the food at Hampshire House was stellar! Our tasting was so fun, Michele and her team walked us through the whole process and were so patient with us. The food on the day of was incredible and the guests could not stop raving about it! The Baby Lamb Chops in particular were a favorite as were the entrees (Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Lemon Thyme Chicken Breast, and Wild Mushroom Ravioli) and specialty drinks (Paper Plane & Pomegranate Paloma).

The Hampshire House was an absolutely perfect choice for our wedding celebration. We knew that we wanted someplace with character and history, and located in downtown Boston - Hampshire House was an instant yes when we walked in. The food was incredible and the space is gorgeous. We worked with Sydney and she was amazing - she was so patient and guided us through all of the many decisions we needed to make. We felt like we were in the very best hands with her, and I am so grateful that we got to work with her. She is both very kind and very knowledgable, and was a huge part of the success of our day! Everyone at the Hampshire House is lovely and helpful, and we just feel so happy that we chose them. There were so many beautiful and interesting spots for photos as well. The space looked so beautiful - it gives really old school Boston vibes, and the setting and location cannot be beat. Cozy wedding in the library
My husband and I recently had the perfect wedding reception at Hampshire House, and we could not be more happy about our experience. We wanted a small, intimate, cozy wedding reception, and that is exactly what we got. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and we could not be happier with the venue space. We worked with Victoria, and we can not recommend her services enough. She worked with us every step of the way to make sure that our reception was everything that we were hoping for. Our Wedding Was Pure Magic!
We feel beyond lucky to have chosen Hampshire House to celebrate the most important day of our lives. From the very first photo I saw of the venue, I instantly fell in love.I could immediately envision everyone we love gathered in that warm, elegant space, celebrating together in a way that felt both intimate and timeless. It perfectly captured the spirit of what we dreamed for our wedding: a meaningful gathering with family, friends, and mentors.
From the beginning of our planning journey, Victoria was truly exceptional. Her responsiveness was lightning-fast (even when I packed a dozen questions into a single email!), and she was consistently calm, cheerful, and organized through the often chaotic planning process. I’ll never forget how welcomed we felt when we met her in person for the first time at our tasting. Her kindness, professionalism, and flexibility gave me instant peace of mind that everything on the big day would be taken care of—and it was, and more.
Victoria went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our needs, no matter how small, and her quiet support meant everything when other parts of the planning felt unpredictable. She took detailed notes, followed through on every ask, and always made me feel like our wedding truly mattered to her.
On the wedding day itself, Victoria, Lindsay, and Elissa (apologies if I spelled any names wrong!) were absolute stars. These three incredible women were everywhere—effortlessly managing logistics, adjusting details on the fly, and doing it all with radiant smiles. They handled so many things I could see—setting up our escort card table to look pristine, subtly hiding visual clutter to keep the space beautiful, helping adjust the tone of the pianist’s music to match the mood, even helping us with tech like setting up my phone for the playlist—and I’m sure there were dozens more things they did that we didn’t even notice. That’s the thing about the team at Hampshire House: they care as deeply and attentively as we did. They treated our wedding as something truly meaningful, not just another event on the calendar.
Every detail was cared for, not just the obvious ones, but even the ones we didn’t know to think about. Hampshire House made us feel so seen, so supported, and so celebrated. We will remember their kindness, effort, and magic forever:)Hampshire House's reply:

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Hampshire House, and it was truly a magical experience. The beauty of the venue is undeniable, and it was the perfect setting for our 90ish-person quintessential-Boston wedding. What truly set the Hampshire House apart was the exceptional staff. Michele and her team were incredible throughout the planning process, from the delightful tasting to the day-of coordination. We had such a great experience with the Hampshire House - we can't recommend them enough! The Hampshire House team was very professional from the initial consultation all the way to our big day (60+ guests). Lindsay, our sales & event manager was such a delight to work with and always responsive and helpful with our questions and needs during the planning process. Michele, our day-of manager was such a calm and effective manager and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. The food and service was excellent and the team do such a great job. We had a magical and joyous time and our guests enjoyed themselves very much. -

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hampshire House in Beacon Hill. Sydney was the Catering Sales Manager who coordinated our event. When we were looking for a venue for our wedding it was important to us that the space felt like it had lots of character and enchantment. I wanted my guests to feel like they were being transported to another time and place and have a wonderful experience through the visual presentation. Upon touring the Hampshire House, we immediately fell in love with the sophistication of the old Bostonian mansion, the library with its wooden shelves and gorgeous fireplace, the warm and rich colors of the space with its ornate décor and intimate charm. The location is fantastic with the Boston Public Garden directly across the street which made for magical photos with the fall foliage. Hampshire House evoked the exact whimsical and romantic feeling that we were looking for. Sydney and her team worked diligently with us from the first steps of planning through scheduling, menu selection, rentals and coordination of vendor logistics with load in and out, etc. Sydney offered great insight and experience into the planning process and was there to make sure our big day was everything we could have dreamt of. I felt that the Hampshire House team thought of every detail to make us feel special and as for day of logistics, I was so pleased to find that they took care of essentially everything leaving no added stress to our day. They were very communicative and accommodating to our requests and even held on to some items for us that had been forgotten after the reception until we were able to come back to pick them up. The food was incredible, my guests are still raving about the decadent flavors and beautiful presentation of every item on the menu. The Hampshire House is a top notch venue with an incredible customer experience, do yourself a favor and book your wedding or special event with them! -

We cannot say enough good things about the Hampshire House. We just had our wedding there on 10/12/24 and we still can’t believe how perfectly everything went. We were lucky enough to work with Victoria who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly how we had imagined. From answering many, many, emails, to helping us with all of our decor, to making sure the day ran seamlessly. She was fantastic! All of my vendors were able to easily get in contact with her and set up the day of which eased the stress on myself and my family.
That goes to say that everyone we worked with that day was also super friendly and extremely accommodating.
The food was amazing. It was hard to narrow down our choices from the tasting because everything was so good. We worked with Dessert Works for our cake since they work directly with the Hampshire House and it was beautiful.
We chose the Hampshire House because we wanted an intimate wedding (50 guests) and as soon as we saw pictures we knew it was the place. If you’re looking for a city wedding with a timeless and cozy feel, this is the place!

We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us.
We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!)
She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way.
Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of.
Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! -

We had an absolutely gorgeous Sunday Brunch Wedding at the Hampshire House on June 2nd, 2024. Leading up to the wedding, my husband and I had the pleasure of working with the literal PRO, Lindsay Beshero. Lindsay very kindly exchanged a total of 85 emails with us to answer every single one of our questions, concerns, and last-minute changes. We adore her. On our wedding day, Alyssa Bourgeois made sure we had a seamless afternoon: from personally helping my MIL go to and from the 4th floor to change her shoes, to packing up huge containers of food for us to enjoy later in the night. The entire HH team truly made our day magical, and we are so grateful for each of them.
The venue is beautiful and intimate. My husband and I also had our first look at the Public Garden, which was obviously gorgeous. Our photographer (Joe Gonzalez-Dufresne) was able to take us around Beacon Hill to grab extra photos during the downtime of our wedding -- all of these beautiful locations were an extremely short walk around HH.
Finally - the food. As soon as we walked into the Baker Bar for cocktail hour, our guests (who were of course all indulging in mimosas) immediately started telling us the hor d'oeuvres were the best they'd ever had (lots of raving over the chicken & waffles!) The HH staff approached my husband and I quickly with our own plate of food (again, they're amazing). Then for our reception, BRUNCH. It was all so delicious!
Overall, we cannot recommend the Hampshire House enough. Lindsay helped us plan our dream wedding within a budget we were comfortable with. The staff are incredible. The venue is gorgeous. The nearby parks are great photo ops. The food is freakin' amazing. Thank you so, so much HH team for helping us have the literal best day EVER!

Wonderful wedding celebration
We recently celebrated our small wedding at the Hampshire House and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding, thanks to the exceptional professionals at Hampshire House and our incredible event coordinator, Sydney. The staff’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensured that our wedding day was nothing short of magical. We were particularly impressed with how seamlessly the operations were executed - big thank you Karim!! From coordinating vendors to managing the flow of the event, everything was executed with precision. The catering was excellent, with delicious food and impeccable service provided by the staff. Our guests were not only impressed by the beautiful venue but also by the level of service they received throughout the evening.
Sydney is a true gem and has been an absolute pleasure to work with! From our initial visit to the wedding day, Sydney exhibited a level of professionalism, expertise, and effectiveness that made the entire process smooth and stress free. Sydney - you saved us many countless hours of planning!!! Your willingness to go above and beyond, even recommending last minute makeup artists, truly made a difference in bringing our vision to life!
The Hampshire House, with its historic charm, elegant ambiance, and a beautiful grand piano, provided the ideal setting for our celebration. The venue’s two levels offered wonderful sunset views over the Public Garden and a seamless transition between cocktail hour and reception. The investment in Hampshire House and its exceptional team, with their top-notch service and delightful cuisine, is undeniably worthwhile for any event. Hampshire House was a dream!! All our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. The location is also amazing- we did our photos in the public garden, on comm ave, and around beacon hill which all turned out beautifully! On its own, Hampshire house is an amazing venue, but what really made it incredible was Sydney (venue coordinator). Sydney was so incredibly helpful from the very beginning all the way up to the day of. Sydney was with us for every part of the planning process and truly made our vision come alive. She patiently answered all my millions of questions and never made me feel dumb for asking. She quelled all my anxieties and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect!! If you go with Hampshire House and work with Sydney know that you are in amazing hands and will be so well taken care of. The encyclopedia entry under “Professional” should simply be a description of Sydney Turnbull, who from beginning to end was invaluable in helping us plan our wedding reception at Hampshire House. A beautiful venue, a perfect night, delicious and well-presented food and drinks, but more than all this: the team of Hampshire House staff members ensured that our guests were comfortable, that we had time to ourselves on our special day, and that everything transitioned seamlessly throughout the night. There were times when it seemed as if Sydney had some magical power, anticipating our every need before we even knew we needed something! Her communication from the getgo was fast and efficient and her years of experience in the wedding/event industry shone through in everything she did.
If you are looking for an intimate, classic Boston wedding, Hampshire House needs to be on your short-list. After all, it’s one of the only places in the city which was intentionally built and designed for hosting weddings. The food here is delicious, the menu options are various, and the bar/liquor options leave nothing to be desired. The option to use both the second and third floors broke the evening up in really nice ways, and allowed our guests to “explore” more of the venue space and see the sunset over the Public Garden from one of the best positions in the city.

Stunning Venue - Amazing Staff

Michele was an amazing manager and coordinator and took care of every detail. The food was exceptional. Our guests are still raving about the experience. Boston’s Best…everything!
If it were possible to give Hampshire House more stars, we would.
After spending weeks researching distilleries, breweries, and restaurants around Boston, my husband and I finally decided to take a look at more “traditional” wedding venues around the city and what we found with the Hampshire House was anything but ordinary.
From our first meeting to the last dance at our wedding, the staff at the Hampshire House went out of their way to make us feel like we were the only couple they were working with. How anyone plans a wedding without Michelle is a mystery. Her and Karim’s attention to detail is unbelievable - absolute masters of their craft. Whether we were planning the menu or trying to figure out how to get a processional full of kids down the aisle, they were by our side bringing our wedding vision to life.
When life threw us a curveball and forced us to postpone our big day, the compassion and empathy the folx at the Hampshire House showed absolutely blew us away and it was like no time had passed when we were ready start planning again a few months later.
While the professionalism and service are reason enough to plan your wedding here, you can’t talk about this place without raving about the venue itself. Perfectly situated across from the Public Garden and nestled in Beacon Hill, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque place to get married. The library is a stunning setting to say I do, and the whole house evokes a kind of historical warmth and charm you can’t find at any other venue in Boston.
We also have to take a minute to mention how phenomenal the food was too. Every hors d’oeuvre and dish was perfectly made, and the staff even went out of their way to label everything for our guests with allergies.
We feel so lucky to have been able to get married at here, work with the incredible staff, and share such a cool, historic venue with our guests.
If you want a worry free wedding at a gorgeous venue with the best service you could ever ask for, do yourself (and your guests) a favor and say “I Do” at Hampshire House, you won’t be disappointed.

We selected the Hampshire House for our wedding, because we loved the feeling of celebrating in an old-style mansion. The ceremony, dinner, and dancing were all held in the massive library, and it was gorgeous. They had fully working fireplaces for our cold November wedding, which really set the mood. Probably more importantly, the food was outstanding. Our family and friends are all foodies, and if the food was bad, we would have heard about it until the end of time. Instead, people could not get over how amazing both the cocktail hour food was, but also the dinner hour.
While the space was stunning to begin with, one of the main considerations in picking this venue was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs right from the start. They made the whole experience as stress free as possible. The Director/Coordinator, Michele Giacomozzi was amazing. She was always there to answer any questions we had or offer any help she could. Michele did an outstanding job the day of, left us feeling stress free and allowed us to live in the moment.
We had so many compliments afterwards about the food, the beauty of the space, and especially the stunning views of the public gardens. We could not have imagined a more perfect day.Hampshire House's reply:

The Hampshire House was a wonderful venue to hold our small wedding reception of 25. They were more than accommodating as we finalized our menu and seating chart. Lindsay and Michele are experts in the event planning and Hampshire House - they helped to really make the evening organized while still allowing us to choose just how we wanted it to feel. We are grateful to have wedding planned with such kind and wonderful people.

We had a great experience at HH! The event coordinator, Lindsay, is very responsive and effective. She was very easy to work with - Lindsay provided us all details, helped us meet all key steps, got us everything in a relatively short time (we only had about one month from determining the venue to having the wedding). The most beautiful venue!
We cannot recommend Hampshire House enough! Michele was INCREDIBLE to work with. She was extremely flexible, responsive and so very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. The Hampshire House made for a gorgeous and timeless wedding venue for our winter wedding. And the food was unmatched! Guests are still telling us how fabulous the hors d'oeuvres were. AMAZING Experience at Hampshire House
We had our intimate 35-person Sunday morning brunch wedding in the Library at Hampshire House this April and could not have asked for a better experience. Michele and the team HH were INCREDIBLE and accommodating throughout the entire process - we had to plan the entire thing from out of town and they made it as easy as possible for us. We had a very quick engagement and wanted to have a smaller, intimate fall wedding in Boston. The Hampshire house was perfect. From the gorgeous park views to the iconic Beacon Hill streets that surrounded the property to the one-of-a-kind staircase and rooms, the venue is elegant and so very timeless. And because we had a tight timeline, and only a month or so to plan, we needed a great team to help us pull it all together. Not only did Amanda and the team at the Hampshire House help us find almost all of our INCREDIBLE vendors in a matter of days, but they worked with us every step of the way to make the planning process easy and customized. On the day of the wedding, Amanda had everything orchestrated perfectly and took care of us so well. The wedding was not cookie-cutter... it was unique and so very special. We got compliments from ALL our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how incredible the staff was. I honestly can't recommend the Hampshire House & Amanda more! Without them, we could have never pulled off such a beautiful wedding in such a short time. -

The perfect venue & wedding
I got married at Hampshire House last weekend and I cannot say enough great things about the venue, food, and staff!!! We decided to postpone our larger reception but still wanted to have an intimate ceremony and dinner with family on our original date. That is when we found Hampshire House. I honestly wish we had found it sooner because it was everything we wanted and more. Michele was SO easy to work with from the very beginning, was super responsive, and made navigating a microwedding during a pandemic a breeze. She was onsite to help coordinate everything the day of the wedding and she even ran to find me a Tide to Go pen when I spilled something on my dress during dinner. The food and service was absolutely amazing, everyone has not stopped raving about how good the food was. And I'm not talking good by wedding food standards, I'm talking by foodie standards. I also loved that they let you pick 4 different entrees to offer your guests (from a huge list) and none of them were upgrades or extras including steak, lamb, swordfish, etc. Everything from the appetizers, to the entrees, to the cake were delicious and beautiful. The library room is such a gorgeous and cozy location for a winter wedding in Boston (or any other season really). Plus the location makes for some amazing photos both inside and outside in Beacon Hill and the Public Garden. I cannot recommend HH enough!!Hampshire House's reply:

Hampshire House was the most amazing venue we could have asked for. We currently live on the West Coast, so we had to plan everything from afar. When we first started planning, we were leaning towards having a barn wedding, but wanted to keep our options open. We came home to Mass. in August of 2018 and visited 11 venues in one week. Hampshire House was the second to last venue we visited and the only one we visited that was in the city of Boston. The beauty of the venue combined with the beauty of the Public Gardens right across the street got us excited. We also realized that being in the city, there we be so many fun things for guests to do before and after the wedding as well. Hampshire House's amazing catering manager, Michele Giacomozzi, as well as knowing how great the food itself would be, sealed the deal for us. We went from thinking we wanted a barn wedding to wanting a city wedding in October. We were so happy with this decision. We were lucky that the weather cooperated with us, as we had an absolutely perfect fall day for photos in Public Gardens and amongst the brownstones of Beacon Hill. Hampshire House ended up not just meeting our expectations, but exceeding them. Michele G. was so nice and so accommodating in helping us with everything we needed. The food was phenomenal and the Library room is just stunningly beautiful. If you want to get married in Boston, don't look any further than Hampshire House. Seriously.Hampshire House's reply:

We were looking for a venue in the heart of Boston since most of our guests were flying in from out of town and we didn't want them to have to rent a car / travel outside the city. We also knew we wanted a space that was already beautiful and didn't require a total transformation on our part (i.e., not a hotel ballroom). The Hampshire House fit both those needs perfectly! On top of that, the staff at the Hampshire House provided exceptional service from beginning to end, including little touches throughout that made my husband and me feel like VIPs -- a true luxury experience. (Not to spoil any big surprises so just one example: when we first visited the HH, we were greeted with a gift bag that included a HH mug, chocolates, and a copy of the Knot's seasonal magazine. We still use the mug every week and think about our amazing experience at the HH!).
Almost a month later and we are still getting comments from our guests about how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food was!
We also loved how seamlessly the HH worked with our other vendors (mostly drawn from their recommended list -- all pros), making the whole experience easy. As a friend put it to me, how wonderful that my husband and I got to be guests at our own wedding.
Finally, a big shout out to Amanda Henderson, our coordinator:
Amanda was the BEST!!! She won us over with her quick email response time during the early inquiry process and was a joy to work with throughout the whole planning process. She had an answer for everything and truly embodied the spirit of hospitality.

Kristin Sent on 05/09/2018I HIGHLY recommend the Hampshire House for a wedding! We are deeply impressed, and forever grateful for the exceptional experience they gave us. With the beautiful fireplaces, grand chandeliers, and ornate wood work, the rooms need no decorating… VERY different than a hotel ballroom. This place has personality, and an old world, regal air about it that is so unique. Our wedding was 1 month ago, and our guests are still talking about it…ESPECIALLY the food! Everything was cooked to perfection (I cut the beef tenderloin with a butter knife!!!). The wedding packages they offer include the food, cake, taxes, tip, etc., so it crossed 3 things off my to do list. I recommend the library room for a great party. After dinner, the staff opened the doors to the bar which created a great flow from room to room, and we danced all night long! lastly, I would be remiss not to mention the AMAZING wedding coordinator at the Hampshire House, Amanda. We originally planned a wedding at another venue, but decided to move it up 4 months. Usually, moving your wedding up that much can be very stressful, but Amanda made it easy, and enjoyable. Every email and phone call was responded to promptly, and every time I wanted to come back and see the venue, she was extremely accommodating and gracious. And on my wedding day (as if she didn’t already do an amazing job) when my bridal party and I were late, and my fiancé was due to show up in 5 minutes, Amanda calmly took me and my maid of honor, and sprinted down the streets of Boston to the back entrance so my fiancé wouldn’t see me before the wedding. She then proceeded to send up a bottle of wine, and a plate of hors d’oervres to the bridal suite. If that’s not service I don’t know what is. That was just the icing on the cake of what turned out to be a truly magical night. My husband and I both agree, if we had to go back and do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. My husband and I got the Brahmin Brunch Buffet wedding package and we were both blown away by not only the quality of the food and service but by how incredibly simple the whole process was. There honestly wasn't a single request that they couldn't accommodate: can we have two (obnoxiously elaborate) signature drinks named after our two dogs? Done. Can we still have personalized menu cards included even though we are having a buffet? No problem. Can you please ignore my last three emails about the silly wedding favors and just go back to my original plan? Of course! Amanda Henderson is the epitome of professionalism and poise; there is nothing she hasn't seen and nothing she can't handle. To be honest, the service and food could have been terrible and I'd still give this place a high rating because it is just drop-dead gorgeous. It's like getting married in a piece of Boston history. Simply put, you cannot get a more posh venue for your intimate wedding than Hampshire House; it simply shines with old world elegance and timeless prestige. Your guests will be blown away the moment they walk in. (Pro Tip: Too cold to take pictures in the park? No worries, the back spiral staircase has mesmerizing light and my photos came out INCREDIBLE) Consider booking an "off-season" daytime wedding on a Sunday to see the most value for your money (Before you scoff....Hampshire House is in the heart of downtown Boston proper so none of my guests needed to pay for valet since all parking is free on Sundays in Boston. Try getting a ceremony to start on time on a Saturday in the city without shelling out the extra fee for more valet attendants or having people leave to feed parking meters/move their cars...not gonna happen) You will not find a classier intimate venue in Boston at this price. Legitimately no complaints at all with my experience

The interior is exquisite, the food was excellent, and the staff were really easy to work with. Plus, it's centrally located and easy to get to, and you can do wedding photos in the public gardens. To cap it all off, Hampshire House was significantly cheaper than other places in the area that we looked, particularly for a day wedding.Hampshire House's reply:

User2009882 Sent on 01/14/2015The team at the Hampshire House was so helpful in walking through all of the details of our wedding ceremony and reception following. We had several special requests ranging from food allergy accommodations to a non-wedding cake dessert service, all of which they handled with courtesy and professionalism. We worked with the team to bring our clothes for the wedding the day before at the rehearsal so that we could change at the Hampshire House and the staff there kindly had bottled water and sodas in the changing space for us.
For the ceremony, the team sat down with us to discuss specifics of the service to make sure that they understood what we wanted and talked with us about how their team would be able to best help make the vision come to life. We would definitely recommend working with the Hampshire House team-- they do a fantastic job of taking the stress and worry out of wedding planning.
