September 2025 wedding hair and makeup
I would recommend Hair and There to anyone looking for hair and makeup services for their wedding or other events. Stacey was fantastic with meeting my needs of not wanting to look overly glammed up for the wedding, and sticking to a more natural look. Helyna was so friendly and did my hair exactly how I envisioned it for the wedding. Everything looked the same as it did during the trial which was great! They were very responsive and flexible with times and dates. Couldn't have asked for better!

AMAZING wedding hair & makeup
I could not be happier that I found Hair & There Salon for my September 2025 wedding!! I owe Stacey and her team many, many thanks. I was able to do a hair/makeup trial ahead of time, which was very helpful for me as an indecisive bride who wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. I provided my Pinterest board and then Stacey and Halyna brought my wedding look to life in the most perfect way!
Stacey, Halyna, and Renee traveled 2 hours for our wedding in Long Eddy, NY and then helped get 10 people ready! They were all incredibly kind, flexible, professional, and so much fun to hang out with all morning. They made do with the small farmhouse where we got ready and made it look easy, coordinating 10 people for both hair and makeup services. They worked efficiently to ensure that we were all totally happy with our looks—and everyone looked GORGEOUS. I don’t usually wear makeup and was nervous about having it professionally done for my wedding, but Stacey listened to my concerns and gave me the most beautiful, natural look—better than I ever imagined! And even with my large wedding party, we were ready well ahead of schedule.
Working with Stacey, Halyna, and Renee was a wonderful experience and helped bring my wedding vision to life. I am still obsessing over my hair and makeup 6 weeks later!

Hair & Make Up that Last!
Stacey, Shanique, Halyna and Shayla were absolutely phenomenal to work with. My hair and make up, as well as my 6 bridesmaids stayed perfectly all afternoon and night throughout the 90 degree August heat. Stacey was wonderful to work with on the administrative side and the other artists/stylist were so sweet and wonderful. My girls and I cannot recommend Hair & There enough!

Both the makeup artist and hairstylist went above and beyond they were both so good. I couldn’t have had this day without them. I had 3 girls get hair done and 4 for makeup for my wedding and we all looked absolutely beautiful! We were all super impressed with how it turned out and got compliments all day from guests. Flawless makeup and hair lasted 14 hours, through photos in the rain, 5 hours of dancing and sweaty, and never needed to reapply anything.
I cannot recommend Hair&There more highly. I paid for my own hair and makeup, and treated the moms to hair and makeup as a gift. They came to our venue and did everything the morning of my wedding this June.
Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL both in photos and real life. I've gone to many weddings and brides are made up to be photo-ready but IRL, their skin is cakey or skin color unnatural. We had NONE of these issues. Truly, we were all gorgeous for at least 14 hours, from getting our looks done starting at 9:30 am, and everyone looked great even at 1 am when the after party ended. Sure, there was some rain, lots of humidity, dance-floor sweating, all the normal things - but my eyeliner and eyeshadow was on and my lips were still bright red (and not smudged) at the end of the night.
Cannot recommend Hair&There more highly. We're all thrilled with how we looked and felt the day-of, and we adore all the beautiful photos we got back.

Beautiful Hair and Makeup
Hair and there were recommended by a friend in the area (I’m from out of town) and I’m so glad I went with them for hair and makeup! They listened to all my feedback and worked with me when there were certain areas I wanted to change during the trial. Very reasonably priced. Make up was more of a natural look and hair was half up and down (it stayed in place for the night even after a long evening of dancing). They made me, my bridesmaids, and the mothers all feel very beautiful!

Amazing and highly recommend for any bride
Crystal and her team were great to work with for my wedding this past weekend. Crystal was very responsive to any questions I had. I did a hair and makeup trial in March and the stylists truly captured the look I was going for. The stylists were great with my bridesmaids, making sure they each liked their look and making any adjustments to ensure they were comfortable. The Hair and There team even accommodated my aunt very last minute for hair and makeup. One of my bridesmaids who has been in several other weddings even remarked that the Hair and There team’s work was the best she’d ever had. I cannot recommend Crystal and her team enough. One of the best wedding decisions!
I'm so very glad this venue was shown on Wedding Wire! After the suggestion I looked on their Facebook page and found the hair style I HAD to have for myself. The bridesmaids and I were all extremely pleased with the quality of work and the friendliness of our two stylists. They made sure our hair was perfect and we were all having a good time before leading up to the wedding.

Crystal was my hair stylist for my wedding and she was so amazing! I booked a few wedding style trials with her because I had a had time deciding which style I wanted to go with and she was so helpful each time. In the end, we went with a messy low bun and it held all night! She also did hair for the rest of my party and they all loved how warm she was. No one else knew how they wanted their hair done - they just told her the general look they liked and Crystal ran with it. She smashed it because they all loved the hairstyles they got. Crystal was really responsive from the very beginning of the process and just so friendly. I highly, highly, recommend her for your wedding. She will not let you down!

I had my wedding last August 1 in Syracuse and I was just so blessed to have come across and work with Hair and There for my hair and make up. They did a great job making me, my mother and mother in law, and my bridal girls pretty on my big day. They also helped me choose the best color for the day since its raining and they also sent me a small package of lip and cheek tint just in case I needed a retouch. Overall, will want to do it again with them when I get a chance.

Crystal and Joanna at Hair & There are really pros! Prior to wediding day Crystal was always responsive and professional. My wedding date changed because of Covid, and I'm so glad Crystal was able to accommodate my new wedding date. On wedding day, they arrived on time, were ahead of schedule all morning, and were able to add last minute requests for additional people to get their hair done. These Ladies Were Amazing!
It was an absolute pleasure working with Hair & There at my wedding at Wolf Oak Acres. They worked wonders and my entire bridal party's makeup and hair stayed on point the entire day (even though it was a very rainy morning!) I recommend taking a trial with them to make sure you get the look you want. They try a hairstyle or 2 you'd like to see and I recommend (if you want lashes) trying lashes during the trial. They offer different styles for what you're looking for. A+++ highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience!
I used Hair & There for my wedding on October 24 (Stacey for makeup and Renee for hair). It was an amazing experience!! The stylists arrived early and were extremely friendly and professional. All of the girls LOVED their hair and makeup. It looked flawless in person and in pictures. I already booked Hair & There again for my bigger wedding reception next year (we had a smaller COVID ceremony this year).

The best experience we could've had
I had originally booked my wedding hair & makeup with another vendor but had to find a new one after postponing our wedding due to COVID. I wish I had found Hair & There in the first place!!! They booked my wedding date even though we were 2 1/2 months out from the date. Very accomodating and affordable. Stylists are very knowledgeable, friendly, and talented. The stylists arrived early on the day of and had timely communication throughout the process. All of the girls loved their hair and makeup, which lasted for the entire day's festivities. As someone who has never gotten Hair and makeup done before, Hair & There made me feel comfortable & confident throughout the process from trials all the way until the day of the wedding. They also followed all covid precautions and requirements. I would definitely book again and recommend them for any bride to be!

Extremely Happy with Hair and There
Hair and There did my hair and makeup for me and my bridal party recently. Renee and Stacey were on time, professional and efficient. The group was ready for pictures early. All of the different hairstyles and makeup was beautiful! All of the girls were extremely happy with the results.
I had hair and makeup trials done before my wedding. Renee and Stacey was able to recreate the hairstyle and makeup that I had chosen from Pinterest.
I liked them so much, that I now use Hair and There for my normal hair maintenance and cuts with Crystal.

Amazing and affordable
I could not have gone with a better hair stylist! She did 5 of our ladies hair (bride and bridesmaids) within only a couple hours. The updo stayed put all day. And even thought one of my bridesmaids hair curl started to fall out- before the hair stylist left she Curled it again it to perfection. Price was great for having her travel to our venue and the amount of ladies hair that was done

Fantastic 👏 job
My bridesmaids, flower girl and myself were so happy with Crystal and her assistant. They both did a absolute fantastic job on make up and hair and made our experience so much fun even in covid times. Very professional but also personable. Would absolutely recommend them for another event or even just to have hair and makeup done for whatever reason! You won't regret it!

I absolutely loved the hair and makeup that Lexi did. She arrived early and made me feel beautiful even with the new COVID restrictions. Lexi was also extremely flexible and fit my mom in last minute for her hair as well. And most importantly, the husband was stunned at how beautiful I looked.

Amazing wedding hairstyle
I contacted this salon only a short time before my wedding. They were able to accommodate me with an appointment for styling. My stylist was Shanique and she was incredible! I showed her a few pictures of what I was looking for and she took off with it and made it even better than I had imagined. I loved my hair for my special day.

Soo happy with wedding hair & makeup!!
I first met Lexie from Hair & There at the Bridal Show at the NYS Fairgrounds last January. I was looking for a fun, laidback crew for hair and makeup to come to the Brewster Inn in Cazenovia for me, my 4 bridesmaids and flower girl for my late May 2019 wedding. Hair & There was the perfect choice for us!!! Crystal the owner was so sweet and organized with excellent prices right what I was looking for. I did a trial run with Lexie for hair and Shayla for makeup about six weeks before the wedding and we talked about lots of ideas and my vision for an up-do with a floral crown. The day of the wedding, they were awesome keeping a roomful of ladies calm and chill...and everyone looked FLAWLESS in photos. I couldn't believe how good my makeup looked well into the evening dancing and having a few drinks ;) Bottom line: You will not be disappointed if you go with Hair & There!!!

I am so happy that I was able to book Hair & There for my wedding. After struggling with my first stylist I had hired for my wedding, I was stuck looking for a new company a month before my wedding. Hair and There was flexible and was able to give me a hair and make-up trial on such short notice. The morning of my wedding wedding went very smoothly, and this was largely thanks to Hair and There. All the stylist were professional and gave myself and each of my family members the exact look they wanted.

Lexie and Shanique did my makeup and hair (respectively) for my wedding, along with styling my bridal party! My makeup was everything I dreamed it would be, and as someone who never wears makeup, Lexie answered all of my questions and made sure that I looked bridal without losing what I look like on a day to day basis. She also didn’t make me feel bad about not wanting to wear mascara. Shanique was equally as amazing, and as someone who has never been able to have her hair hold a curl, my curls held ALL NIGHT and looked beautiful the whole entire time. She did exactly what I wanted. Both girls were so fun and sweet. On the day of the wedding, they both fit in perfectly with my group of girls and we had so much fun!

Halyna was the IDEAL bridal hairstylist. She was quiet and not chit-chatty which is SUPER helpful on your wedding day when your mind is all over the place. Halyna did a PHENOMENAL job with my long, thick, frizzy hair. She made my hair beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Crystal, the owner, was VERY responsive and a phenomenal help with suggestions of how to do my getting ready timeline. I would highly recommend Hair and There, specifically Halyna.

I hired Hair & There to travel to my rental home in Burdett, NY before my wedding to do my hair and make-up, as well as for some family members and friends. Crystal was so responsive throughout the planning process, and the stylists listened to what we wanted and executed the look each of us wanted perfectly. Don't look anywhere else!!
Crystal at Hair and There saved me! After a horrible trial at a different salon (The Traveling Stylists), I reached out to Hair and There after several failed attempts at other salons and with only 2 weeks before my wedding. Crystal responded almost immediately and said her salon would be happy to accommodate me!! I went to my trial for hair and makeup and was elated to have the experience I should've had in the first place. And so, this past weekend, Halyna (hair) and Domenica (makeup) arrived well ahead of the schedule time, got set up and happily got right to work! For the next 2 hours they transformed me into the princess I had only dreamed of. I even asked to change up my makeup a bit from the trial and Domenica was happy to tweak it the way I wanted with no issue at all! These ladies also gave my mom a complete makeover (with no trial) and I'll never forget her reaction to seeing herself...we both cried! We again cried after I saw my transformation as well! I truly felt stunning for the first time in my life and it's all thanks to these amazing, kind, funny and professional ladies!! My message to all the future brides who are looking for the perfect salon - Don't waste time looking anywhere else! Book Hair and There immediately and if you can, request Halyna and Domenica!!!! Crystal was very professional with scheduling and answering all my questions and with very quick responses. Thanks again to all 3 of them for the experience of my dreams!

Hair & there was so fun to work with. They were professional but also real people. They made a stressful day less stressful. My numbers of people getting hair and make-up done changed right up to the morning of and they were able to accomodate everyone. Everyone was happy with the results and looked amazing! The bridal trial was perfect as well. They listened to me and adjusted as appropriate to my wants and needs. I couldn't have been happier.

They do a great job!
Crystal and Renee did a great job on my hair and my bridesmaids hair. I did a hair trial with Renee and showed her exactly what I wanted and she gave it to me. There were a couple things I wanted fixed on my hair and she happily fixed them so that it was just the way I wanted it. On the day of the wedding they were on time and did a great job on my hair as well as my 5 bridesmaids hair. They also loved them and the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend them!

Hot Damn, They Are Good
Well, I'm not one for reviews so when I DO sit down to write one...it is either excellent or the worst. We found Hair & There online and decided to use them based solely on their amazing reviews. Crystal and the girls did not disappoint! She was super easy to work with, very polite, and accommodating. Now the stylists who actually did our hair and makeup - Renee, Amanda, Domenica, Melissa - hot damn! I have never looked so good in my whole life. Like hot damn they transformed this hot mess express into a BRIDE. I cannot thank them enough!!! They were all polite, funny, and gave us all the styles we asked for. They did magic on us and we ranged in age from 20 to 83 years old. Everyone had a flawless complexion, bright eyes, big lashes, and swooping curly hair. These girls know their shit! I was in awe of their glory. I couldn't have gotten married without you! 11/10 would recommend!!!

The BEST Hair & Makeup Service You Can Find!
I had Hair & There staff come to the Carriage Barn at Frog Pond in Skaneateles New York on August 10th 2019 for my wedding and we had a fantastic experience.
Before the big day, I met Lexi for the first time to do a hair and makeup trial and she was so fun, friendly, helpful and talented! She listened to exactly what I wanted and make the experience just awesome. I left the trial that day so relieved that I decided to go with this company.
On the day of the wedding she and another stylist arrived a few minutes early and got set up so they were perfectly ready to go to start hair for six girls, along with four makeups. Everyone wore 1/2 updoes with curles, and I wore a 1/2 updo, curled with a donut in to give me more volume in the back. Lexi also put a hair vine in for some extra glam, and she put on fake lashes that I bought.
I was so happy with how it turned out! Everyone looked gorgeous, and she finished early so we had plenty of time for photos and hanging out.
The owner that I had set up all the appointments with (Crystal) was so great to work with too - so quick and patient over email and completely transparent about all the expenses. The pricing was very fair as well.
I would highly recommend their services and I can't wait to book them again for hair and makeup to wear at other weddings.

Loved using hair and there! Crystal was very easy and honest to work with. She was helpful during the hair trial to guide the look I wanted and what looked best. The whole team is very accommodating as they come to your house on your wedding day to help get everyone ready. The hair styles for me (the bride) and all of the bridesmaids all came out beautiful.

Working with Crystal was seamless. Getting married out in the Catskills, finding Hair & MU artists was the toughest vendor to connect with. Thankfully, I came across Hair & There from Wedding Wire, who I later learned is primarily traveling artists. The team traveled ~2 hours (for a reasonable travel fee) to do onsite services. With 8 women getting services, there were 2 hair and 2 makeup artists. We ran right on schedule, if not even slightly ahead! Crystal was fantastic to work with. I booked this solely by reading reviews and then went it for a hair & make up trial about 5 months later & was blown away. Definitely recommend!

Hair and There stylists were amazing on my wedding day! You get endless looks at your trial. On the wedding day they showed up early and got right to work! Every one of my bridesmaids were happy with their styles and makeup and they worked with every hair type. My hair and makeup team was amazing. They listened to the vibe of my wedding and the type of look I was looking for and couldn't have done a better job. My hair and makeup looked the same from the moment they finished until I was back in my room 10 hours later. 15/10 recommend

We had a fantastic experience working with the girls at Hair & There, who provided excellent, professional service throughout hair and make-up trials and day-of styling. We used their travel-to-home service, which was easy, convenient, and personalized to fit our needs. In particular, Lexie was incredibly accommodating and wonderful to work with...she deserves a medal for her efforts taking care of one especially *difficult* and *picky* member of my wedding party. I highly recommend the Hair & There salon, and will definitely be returning for future styling needs.

Amazing attention to detail
Hair & There did hair and makeup for my wedding this past weekend. They were absolutely phenomenal. The girls were there on time and were quick without sparing quality with amazing attention to detail. They got all 11 of us done in a timely fashion and we all looked stunning! All 4 girls were great but Lexie & Shela did my hair and makeup. It made me feel great that the same girls that did my trial also did my hair/makeup on my wedding day. Communication prior to the wedding was excellent as well. I could not have been happier with our experience with Hair & There.

I decided at the last minute that I wanted a salon to do my hair (as apposed to my stylist bridesmaid) to alleviate stress on me and the bridesmaids. Hair and there was great! If I could give 10 stars to this company I would! I am so happy I chose Hair & There for our makeup. From my makeup trial to the day of our wedding they were simply wonderful! I had Lexi for my makeup and it was just flawless. I felt so beautiful and confident from the makeup she applied! Mary was also there with her as we had 6 people that needed makeup. Everyone loved it! My niece who is 12 was so shocked when she looked in the mirror, it was the cutest reaction ever! Though we were only booked for makeup, Lexi went above and beyond and came to the rescue for my maid of honor when her hair just was not the way she wanted it from the salon that morning. I cannot say enough good things about them and would highly recommend you book them for your special day!

Wow! Hair and There Inc. has yet to disappoint! My best friend used Hair and There Inc. for her wedding (8/5/17) and I loved what they did with my makeup so much I booked them for my own wedding (9/29/18)! I don't wear any makeup normally so when I have makeup on I generally feel insecure/overwhelmed, but with both of my experiences with Hair and There Inc. (And 2 different makeup artists) I have come out feeling/looking natural and beautiful! My 18 year old sister who is obsessed with makeup and hair and was equality as happy with her experience! Crystal and the Hair & There team really came through for us. We booked them for makeup for the wedding, but at the last second (two days before the wedding!) our original hair stylist from another salon cancelled. Crystal was able to send not one but TWO extra stylists to cover the hair for our event. Everyone was extremely talented. We had such a fun time with the stylists, and they really did a great job. I couldn’t have been happier with my bridal look, and it was such a joy to watch all my bridesmaids get pampered. They even allowed us to add on my Aunt’s hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. One of the bridesmaids was so impressed, she is planning to book with them again when she returns to NY for her cousin’s wedding. I can’t thank them enough, they really made the day special! (This photo is the only one I have of the hair/makeup before the event started. It lasted all night, even through dancing and crying and laughing!)

Hair & There did a great job with my bridal hairdo and make up for my wedding reception this August. I worked with Lexi, and she was very talented, easy to talk to, and receptive to the ideas I had for the hair style I wanted. Before the wedding, they were sure to schedule a hair and make up trial. I was able to try 2-3 different updos and pick the style I liked the best. Although I didn't use it, they also offer a service where they will drive to the location of your wedding to do your styling on site! This would be super convenient if you have a large bridal party or time constraints on your bid day!

Okay seriously I had one of the best experiences of my wedding interactions with this business and with Lexi in particular. I normally do my own makeup and normally do little to nothing with my hair so I was a tad apprehensive about the whole process, as I had something specific in mind and am typically a control freak but my abilities did not match my hopes for this so I booked and Lexi took care of me and slayed hair, makeup, and being an awesome person all at the same time. Seriously if I lived in the area she has more BFF potential than I can fit in this space - I wish I could take her everywhere. Awesome to talk to and did a beautiful job on my look. I had my wedding out of state and did not know who to hire for hair and makeup. I contacted this business and someone promptly responded. All of my questions were answered. I felt pretty confident that there were going to do a good job.
They kept in contact with me all the way up until the day of the wedding.
I had a trial makeup and hair, days before the wedding. The girls did a great job listening to what I wanted and quickly had me looking beautiful.
The day of the wedding the girls met me at the venue. My look was replicated for the big day. My hair never fell or went flat. My makeup stayed in place also. I never had to touch it up.
I also used them for pictures after the wedding. Again I have nothing but good things to say.
I took a chance and it worked out! My pictures look great because my hair and makeup was done fabously. I was very pleased.
The girls were on time, personable and professional.
I ended up using them three times in a week. Every single time they did not disappoint.

This is the second time they have done my hair. Once for a wedding I was in and this time for my own wedding. Both times my hair looked amazing and stayed all night even with dancing, wind, and sweating. All my my bridesmaids hair stayed as well and looked as good at the end of the night as it did in the beginning. We also had our make up done. Mine still looked perfect the next morning. I would highly recommend their service for your wedding or special event! Well worth the money!!

I found Hair & There on WeddingWire. With far more reviews than any other wedding hair stylist, I trusted other girls' experiences and decided to give them a go. . . and it was the BEST decision! A month before my wedding I scheduled a hair trial with Lexi and chose a style (out of 3 different options) that I loved. But on the day of my wedding it was cold and snowy and I didn't want the up-do I had originally selected. I explained how I was feeling to Lexi and showed her photos of the new style. She was AMAZING. She looked at the photo, was like: "yup, we got this," and she made it happen. I am so, so happy with how it turned out. It was the exact look I wanted for the wedding, and Lexi just nailed it. Not to mention, my bridal party had the most gorgeous hairstyles I've ever seen. Wonderful! From initial contact,
Right up through the wedding, it was a pleasure to work with these ladies. Lexi is incredible at her job and so much fun to work with. The trial a month before was a lot of fun. We did nails the day before and the day of, Lexi and Mary came right to our hotel and did beautiful hair and make up. It was so much fun! Highly recommend!

The team was absolutely fabulous to everyone in my wedding party and our mom's! They were on point, very accommodating, and incredibly talented for both hair and make up. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the CNY area in a heartbeat.
