Lena is the best!

Do not hesitate to work with Lena- she is worth her weight in gold! She is so talented at what she does. She was always quick and responsive with emails and fully prepared for our trial and the day of. She did my hair and makeup and 6 others bridesmaids. She offered excellent advice and feedback to really tailor the hairstyles to fit our needs. Everything turned out perfect!! Also I unexpectedly got married in the pouring rain and my hair and makeup stayed all night- everyone was shocked and complimented me all night. I feel so lucky to have worked with such a talented artist!

The Best!!!

Lena is truly the absolute best at what she does and I can't recommend her enough. Every one who got their hair done was so happy with it and it lasted all the way to the after party. She's also so funny and the most calming presence to have while you're getting ready. I can't recommend her enough!

Lena is the best!!!!

Lena is amazing and I’m so happy we used her for our wedding in July! She is the perfect balance of telling you what looks good while also hearing what you want your hair to look like. Besides her professionalism and talent, she is above all else kind and was so understanding and caring during the anticipated wedding day meltdown! I could not recommend Lena enough! I loved my trial with her so was not worried - but I truly was blown away with my hair on my wedding day (and each of my bridesmaids). Lena is the best!!!

Lena is so incredibly talented and wonderful to work with! My sister hired Lena for her wedding in June 2022 and we loved Lena so much! When I got engaged, Lena was one of the first vendors I reached out to! Lena is responsive and super easy to communicate with. Lena was so helpful during my trial discussing various options and which style would be a perfect fit for me. She helped me build a timeline for the day which was extremely helpful and led to an stress-free morning! She is so kind, professional and talented and everyone’s hair truly looked amazing on my wedding day I cannot recommend her enough!!

Lena was was such a pleasure to work with during the months leading up to my wedding, and an incredible advocate on the day of! When the wedding day weather reported gale force winds, she didn’t make me panic about my hair-down style ;) She did such an amazing job accommodating all of the different hair types and requested styles for my 10+ bridesmaids and attendants. We were a large group but she seamlessly kept us organized and on schedule. Lena is so talented and has a quick solve for everything! Lena is amazing!

Lena and her team did our hair for 13 women on our wedding day. Lena was quick to respond to all emails. When she realized we needed an extra stylist, she got on it immediately and hired one, which was such a stress relief for me! I also had several snafus related to COVID with my hair trial and she was flexible in changing dates and accomodating masking, etc. She also arranging the day-of hair schedule and made it so we didn't have to be there at 7 am despite the large volume. Not to mention: she is highly skilled and and my hair turned out perfect! All my bridesmaids loved their looks too. Simply, you can't go wrong hiring Lena.

Hire Lena!

Lena just did my wedding on May 8th in Boston and everyone in my wedding party loved her! She did a fantastic job. For my hair, I needed extensions because it's really fine/thin and doesn't hold a curl. Lena talked me through the whole process, and frankly, held my hand when I got super overwhelmed/nervous while getting ready, and made sure my hair was exactly what I wanted. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

We love Lena!!! We met when she did my sister’s wedding in August 2021, and she recently did my wedding on 2/5/22. Everyone’s hair looked spectacular and I couldn’t be more thrilled with what she did. I’m obsessed with my wedding look. She’s the best and you will have so much fun!

Hair that Moves is AMAZING!

Hair That Moves/Lena made me feel so at ease through the whole planning process/day of and was so down to earth, I just want to hang out with her all the time! She gave me recommendations for hair extensions when I wanted to add more volume, and the hair trial was so fun and easy. I showed Lena like 1-2 photos of what I wanted and she whipped up this gorgeous half up/half down style that was exactly what I wanted. On the day of, I changed up the hair accessories on her and gave her vague directions on placement and she again knocked it out of the park. Amazing hair stylist!

Lena was incredible to work with to come up with my dream wedding day hair style! She was receptive to feedback at my trial and absolutely nailed what I was looking for at the wedding on a day with 99% humidity. All of the ladies in my wedding party looked amazing and were able to have their own unique looks, and all of our styles actually stayed in place! Lena is the best!

I hired Lena based on a recommendation from our photographer for bride and bridal party hair for my wedding in Harpswell, ME. Lena was absolutely amazing to work with - at my trial, she was honest and upfront about what we could do or should consider for my specific hair type and for our wedding day (early July). I was torn between wanting to wear my hair down vs. up and even though we settled on an updo at my trial, Lena stayed flexible and reassured me that we could wait and see until the wedding day and make a decision then. Unfortunately, Tropical Storm Elsa showed up on our wedding day and so we made the decision that an updo was the best choice. Lena took her time, made sure that I loved it and struck the perfect balance between natural and loose without looking too messy. Even with torrential downpour and crazy wind, my hair stayed in place and looked great all night and am so glad in the end that I didn't wear it down. She also did hair for my mom, mother-in-law and two bridesmaids/sisters - all of whom absolutely loved their hair (and her in general). 10/10 would hire her again in a heartbeat!

The Best Hair/Makeup Artist!

I found Lena via instagram. I went for my first trial and let her know that i wanted a very natural hair/makeup look. I wanted to look like my "best self". When i saw Lena my hair was short. Fast forward to my wedding day my hair had grown an incredible amount. I showed Lena a few pictures and she went above and beyond. I have never felt better about myself. I got an incredible amount of compliments on both my makeup being the best they've ever seen at a wedding. In addition, all my friends who got their hair done commented on how easy and lovely she was to talk to through the process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She honestly made the day that much more special.

So talented, so reliable!

Lena is so amazing! She is so talented and professional. She was incredibly supportive in all aspects of wedding preparation and so helpful the entire day of my wedding with not just hair! Lena is so organized and punctual and that truly put me at ease. Lena kept me calm and talked me through some last minute dilemmas that occurred. Every person in my bridal party loved their hair and Lena was able to do exactly what the girls were envisioning. Simply the BEST

Lena is absolutely amazing. Not only is she highly skilled, professional and experienced but her overall demeanor is exactly what every bride (& bridal party) needs on “the big day.” Lena is such a kind and collected person, with an ability to keep everyone calm during the hours leading up to a wedding. Amazing to Work With!

Lena is amazing to work with! I used her for my wedding day hair stylist. She is kind, friendly and professional and easy to work with. I knew that I wanted an updo for my wedding hair style and during the hair trial we figured out what was going to look best. She made me feel beautiful and confident during the trial that I knew I would feel the same on the big day. On the wedding day Lena was a fun presence to have in the room while all of us girls were getting ready. All of my bridesmaids were even raving about how beautiful their hairstyles were!

Lena is the best. Hire her now!! I spent a lot of time researching different hair stylists in the lead-up to our wedding day, and I was thrilled to find Lena. It was important to me that whoever I went with 1) had experience working with women of color (not a given in New England) and 2) would think with me and my party members so that we all had looks we were excited about! Suffice to say, Lena was a dream.

From the hair trial to the day of, working with her was such a pleasure. I wanted to do an up-do of some kind, but was growing my hair out and only had shoulder-length hair at the time of my trial. We figured out a style that hit all the notes I hoped for and worked for me. I felt gorgeous all night! Every member of my wedding party went with something a little different, as befits each person's style, and they were all so happy with what they ended up with. We couldn't stop oohing and aahing at each other.

On the day-of, her calm, collected presence was such a gift. She and our makeup artist (plug for Joanne at Joya Beauty!) put together a schedule in consultation with our photographer so that everyone knew what the plan was. With that out of the way, it was so nice to be able to hang out in the morning and have a little bit of low-key normalcy in the midst of such a hectic, fun, emotional day. Looking back, I think the time spent getting ready was some of my favorite moments all day. Lena, thank you for being a part of it!

Look no further for your wedding day hair stylist! Lena is the absolute BEST in the business. She's open to ideas, provides incredibly helpful counsel, communicates efficiently and effectively (I had a destination wedding!), and she's so fun to work with and have by your side on your wedding day. My trial was smooth and easy, leaving me feeling confident and excited about my hairstyle ahead of the big day. Superb hair & MU

Lena was great to work with. She is super friendly and easy going, and perfectly executed the makeup and hair style I was going for. I went up for a trial, and she allowed me to try both an updo and down-do as I wasn’t sure of style at that time. In the end, I choose a down do but had a few edits - she was so accommodating to the edits and the end product was exactly what I envisioned. True artist and professional!

Lena is a true artist and designer! Lena was so accommodating, making time on a Saturday for my hair trial and making tweaks from my initial design appointment to ensure I was happy on the day of the wedding. Amazing hair!

I actually can't say enough good things about Lena. My hair is and always has been one of my favorite features about myself so when it came to choosing a hair stylist for my wedding I was very choosey! When I found our Lena was not yet booked for my wedding date I knew I had to book her .. and fast!! She is fantastic. I did a trial with her about 2 months before my wedding day and then the week of my wedding I tweaked the style a bit, but she did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and calm and knowing I am in good hands. On the day of, I absolutely loved my hair and was so so happy to see it all come together. Lena really is the person you want with you on your special day!! She reminded me many times that it was a day about myself and my *now* husband and no one else! We are so grateful for that advice as it helped us make some last minute decisions :)

We recently celebrated my son's wedding in Maine. I was told that if Lena of "Hair That Moves" is available, to book her because she is the best. She did not disappoint. This was a destination wedding and getting together was a bit of a challenge. Lena accomodated the bride's schedule over the summer for the trial hair and make up appointment. She also arranged for Christine to come and do make up applications for all of us. Weddings can be very stressful. Lena and Christine were very calm and had a way of blending in. The day was not about them, but about making sure that each woman was feeling great and happy with her look as she headed off to the wedding. We all looked great and felt that we made two new friends that day. I will pass on the same advice....if Lena is available, book her and figure out the details later! Diane M.

What can I say other than Lena was fantastic! I was unsure about how I wanted my hair done and was worried I wouldn't like anything. At my trial Lena had me explain what I was hoping for (which was a jumble of thoughts!) and then on the first try created the perfect look! On the day of the wedding she was fantastic to have around. She did all my bridesmaids, my Mom's, and my hair with time to spare. My hair looked amazing and she really spent the time to make sure it was EXACTLY what I wanted. It held up great all day as well!! Additionally, she was very calming, helpful, and fun to have around that morning. I can't recommend Lena enough!!

I highly recommend Lena with Hair That Moves. Lena went out of her way to make sure my hair was perfect on my wedding day. Lena was amazing. She did hair on my wedding in May 2018 for my mom, three bridesmaids, and myself. I live in San Francisco and was planning a spring wedding in Maine. Hair and makeup were extremely important to me and I was nervous about finding professionals from afar.

Lena made special accomodations for me to do a hair trial at a convenient time when I was on the east coast for work. At the trial, she immediately put me at ease and was focused on finding the right hairstyle for me. I left the trial feeling at ease and excited for my wedding day hair style.

Lena was amazing, and one of the highlights of getting ready on my wedding day! She shined the day of. My bridesmaids commented for days about Lena and all of them told me they WISHED they knew about her for their wedding. She did an up-do for me, and it was classy and held the entire night. I showed her a picture of a Kate Middleton up-do and she perfectly recreated it for the evening. She did a mix of up and down hairstyles for my bridesmaids and they all looked beautiful and held the whole night. My mother had never had her hair done and Lena did a natural blow-out with a few loose curls, which was perfectly natural for a mother of the bride.

I would hire Lena again in a heartbeat. Any bride would be beyond lucky to have her on their wedding day. THANK YOU LENA!

I loved working with Lena on my wedding day! She is such a lovely person and leading up the wedding was always available via email for any questions that I had and set up my trial easily. She is such a talent and she was able to do the hair of my wedding party of 9 plus me by herself in a timely fashion while making everyone look absolutely gorgeous. She was able to take the vision I had for my hair and not only understand it but elevate it and I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day, while still feeling like myself. From our communication early on, I knew Lena was going to be a pleasure to work with. She was always very attentive to my inquiries which led me to choose her to style mine and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding at the end of September. It's evident she is a great hair stylist as everyones hair looked GORGEOUS and she was super efficient with getting everyone's hair done in a timely fashion. She was extremely professional and accommodating to work with. Although my make up artist was from a different company she worked with her to set up a schedule for me and my ladies and made sure everything went smoothly. Lena is FABULOUS!!! I used Lena for my wedding -- she did my hair and my bridesmaid's -- and she was absolutely wonderful, both leading up to the wedding and on the day of! My hair was one thing that I was super picky about during the planning process, mostly because I never wear my hair up and so wanted the up-do to look formal but also like me! Lena was so patient and accommodating as I worked through what hair style I wanted with her. She did 3 hair trials for me, testing out different looks each time until we found the perfect up-do. She offered suggestions as to what she thought would work well/look nice, but she also is very flexible and can do any hairstyle you show her. On the day of the wedding, Lena was early to the wedding site, set up quickly, and was ready to go! She is able to do lots of girls in a short amount of time, which was wonderful for someone like me who had a relatively large bridal party. All of my bridesmaids were also raving about their hairdos. One friend even got Lena's contact info to use her for her own upcoming wedding! All in all, Lena is an incredibly talented hair stylist, and she will be an excellent vendor for your wedding day or special occasion!! @Lena, thanks again for everything!

We got married on July 8th and Lena did an amazing job on all of the bridesmaids, moms, and officiants hair! Everyone had a totally different hair type- straight, thick, thin, curly- and she did an awesome job on everyone's hair. Lena is the absolute best at what she does. At my trial she only had to do my hair and make-up once- I was in love with both immediately. This sounds cliché but I really did feel my most beautiful on my wedding day and I have Lena to thank for that. She also did the hair and make-up of my mom and maid of honor, and she nailed that too. They both looked incredible. My MOH even said (and meant) that she had never had her hair done before and liked it, and she couldn't have been any happier with the up-do that Lena gave her. She knows how to perfectly achieve the look of 'natural but looking better than usual' that I'm assuming a lot of brides are after. For instance my make-up was amazing, but I still looked like myself. I've not had that experience with a make-up artist before (in the past it's been overdone). As stated in the beginning, Lena really is the best. In addition to that, she is laid back and friendly. She was a nice addition to have in my bridal suite- fun to talk with and a calming presence. I would HIGHLY recommend Lena to future brides- or anyone wanting to look their most beautiful.

First and foremost, let it be known that I am the epitome of a type-A personality (read "difficult to please"). If I did it all over again, Lena would still be standing there. Lena played an integral part in my big day not only as a stylist but as a confidant. There is a serene calmness about her which you don't anticipate needing until the day-of when all emotions are at their height. She is genuine; professional; and has a confidence that she exudes in her presence because - let's face it - she is downright damn good at what she does. Lena ensured that my hair was flawless and withstood the storm - and by storm, I mean winds, torrential downpour and one hell of an all-night dance party. She made sure that I felt comfortable with the result during my hair trial but also took the time to ensure my bridal party's hair was perfection (and did so all while calm, cool and collected due to calculated planning on her part for 8 plus 2 flower girls). Bonus? She even went above and beyond to incorporate an added extension/hairpiece after determining during our trial that would put my style over-the-top (in the fabulous way, of course). Look no further for a wedding day hair stylist if you've found Lena because trust me, being from Atlanta and planning my Kennebunkport wedding from afar, I reviewed every stylist that exists and didn't stop until I found Lena.

When I was choosing vendors for my wedding, I didn't think about just how important the people who would be with me in the hours leading up to my first look would be -- so I got very lucky that I selected someone as amazing as Lena to do my hair! She is calm, humble, funny, and real and I was so grateful to be hanging out with her on my wedding day.

I have naturally curly hair and it was very important to me that my wedding hair work with those curls. Lena did an amazing job and truly created my dream updo. I looked like me, very natural, and my curls lasted all night -- through portraits OUTSIDE in a BLIZZARD, the ceremony, speeches, hugs, and dancing. It was amazing.

Lena was fantastic to work with! During my hair trial I couldn't really articulate what I wanted, and she took all of my disparate ideas and created exactly what I had in mind. My hair isn't particularly easy to work with, and she did SUCH a fantastic job. On my wedding day, she was on time, did such a great job with my hair and my bridesmaids' hair, and was so fun with us while we got ready. Lena is fabulous! My sister used her for her wedding a couple years back and when I got engaged, I knew I had to book her! At both my sister's wedding and my own, not only was my hair absolutely gorgeous, but my up-do's were very secure. I was able to dance and jump around on the dance floor without ever feeling like my hair was coming loose - not something you want to have to worry about on your wedding day. She's also super sweet and great to work with. I live in Chicago and got married out in New Hampshire, but it was no problem communicating with Lena via email and phone, and she always responded very quickly. Lena and Jenn did an incredible job on all of our hair! When I went in for my trial I had an idea of what I wanted, but I needed some guidance. Lena immediately understood exactly what I was looking for, and I was completely blown away. My hair was perfect! The day of the wedding Lena and Jenn did a great job helping us all to stay on schedule (I had a lot of bridesmaids!) and did an excellent job with all of our hair. All of the ladies loved their hair, and we all fit together perfectly. When I took my hair out 12+ hours after getting it done not a single strand had come loose. All the photos are so outstanding!

I have very fine, lifeless hair with many see-through (bald) areas, and of my biggest concerns about my wedding day was that my hair would not look very "special." Lena was able to completely transform my look--so much so that I think MOST of the compliments I received on our wedding day were in regards to my hair!! Lena was better than amazing for my wedding day! First, when we met for my trail a month out, I brought 4 different pictures of what I would want my hair to look like for my special day. Lena combined pictures to make the perfect up do and even added extra volume in my flat hair. On our wedding day, Lena came to our hotel room to create 7 hairstyles for the bridal party. So friendly, upbeat and excited to start working with us, it felt like Lena was just another friend coming to do our hair although it was only the second time meeting with her. She made all the girls feel relaxed, comfortable and confident that their hair would look perfect. Lena planned ahead of schedule and had time for any fixes or changes any girls wanted. Lena worked directly with my makeup artist, to create a time schedule for us 7 girls; that made it easier for me because it was another detail that I did not have to worry about. Lena was wonderful to work with- and was a very nice person on top of being a great hairstylist! And my hair was beautiful, as was that of my wedding party and my mom and mom-in-law's hair!! Stunning! She even found a little time to squeeze in a quick flat iron for an aunt of mine, who was staying with us- and made her hair look lovely too!

Lena was awesome! The style at the trial wasn't quite what I wanted, but we communicated about it and resolved the issue. My hair turned out wonderful on the wedding day. I had so many compliments on it and people wanting to know who did my hair. She worked great with the children in my party, even the difficult ones. It was so great to work with her!

Lena is so friendly and easy to communicate with. She was very helpful in deciding what updo looked right for me for my wedding day. We scheduled a trial and she gave me exactly the hairdo that we discussed!!!!!! She calmed my nerves and I had no worries for my wedding day!!! I absolutely loved my hair on the day of my wedding and so did everyone else. I received so many compliments!!! She also did such a great job on the bridesmaids and my mother's hair. She is very experienced and will give you exactly the hair style you ask for!!!! I am so glad I chose Lena to do the hair for my wedding. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride!!!

Lena has it all: talent, personality, great business sense, experience, skills, and she's hilarious.
She executed my vision perfectly, and skillfully accommodated a few changes the day-of. She was also great with my mom and bridesmaids, giving them each a unique hairstyle that worked with their different dresses, personalities, hair types/colors, and style preferences. I danced like crazy at my wedding and my hair stayed put until I finally crashed at 3am.

Lena is amazing at what she does but beyond that just great to work with. Her attention to detail, the timeline and meeting everyones needs was professional on all levels. Not only did we all look fantastic but our hair stayed that way till the very last song! She knows how to make you look fabulous to the end of the night!

Lena was an absolute joy to have doing hair on my wedding day. From our first meeting I knew that she would be a perfect match for my wedding style. At our trial she knew exactly what I was describing that I wanted for my wedding hair, and created a perfect trial that was even better than I could have imagined. On my wedding day, she was happy, calm, and relaxed while doing a wedding party of 10 bridesmaids, myself, and two mothers! She even stayed ahead of schedule! It was so wonderful having Lena with me on my wedding morning - she immediately felt like just one of the girls, talking easily to all of my bridesmaids and creating a wonderfully fun yet relaxing vibe on my wedding morning. All of the girls looked BEAUTIFUL! I can't tell you how many people remarked on how incredible all 10 of the bridesmaids looked and how stunning their hair was. I absolutely LOVED my wedding hair - Lena is so incredibly talented. I am so thankful that I had Lena along with me on my wedding day and have never felt more beautiful than I did that day, thanks to Lena. Book Lena as soon as you can! Lena did an amazing job for my wedding. I truly believe she listened to my ideas/concerns and made the process comfortable and easy. She was decisive when I couldn't be. We had a challenging MOB and she handled her like a pro, never allowing me to feel responsible for the random and difficult requests from my own mother. Getting ready was a breeze and I LOVED the outcome. My hair looked amazing as well as the girl's hair in my wedding party. Everything stayed in place and from what I could see, pictures will be great!!

Lena at Hair that Moves was AWESOME. Having had my hair done many times before for other people's weddings and having ALWAYS been very disappointed, I was not overly excited about hair. I also didn't really have any good ideas for my hairstyle. Prior to my appointment with Lena, I decided I wanted a French twist/bun combo. Lena created exactly what I asked for, but I ultimately decided to change the look for the real day. I didn't have time to meet with Lena again before the wedding, so she created the hair style the day of the wedding and it was completely gorgeous and exactly what I had wanted all along (without knowing it)! It also stayed put all day and night. She also did all my bridesmaid's hair and my mom's hair and everyone's looked amazing! Lots of different hair types and styles and Lena created 8 totally different looks that were all beautiful!

I booked Hair that Moves to do my hair and my bridal party’s hair for my February 2013 wedding. I have to say that after researching many hair dressers Lena is by far the best out there. When I went for my trial, I could tell right away that SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE’S DOING! She has such an eye for bridal hair. I felt very comfortable with her. She is professional and a lot of fun to work with. It was so worth it to have a stylist come to my house! The day of my wedding was so relaxed and fun. When changed what I wanted at the last minute, Lena was not fazed at all. Everyone was very pleased with their look and my 4 year old cousin was in her glory with all of the personal attention and her first updo. I got so many compliments on my hair. It lasted all night and it truly looked elegant and beautiful. Thank you so much for everything Lena…..YOU ARE AMAZING!

Lena at Hair that Moves is fantastic! She listened to all of my ideas as to how I envisioned my hair looking on our wedding day, and literally plucked the image out of my head and made my hair look exactly like that! She also gave me a fantastic blow out & makeup application for our Engagement Photos. My naturally curly/unruly hair looked photo ready all day!

She's also a great person in her own right. I was a nervous wreck this morning of our wedding and she calmed me down, joked around with me and made me feel a million times better. I only wish she was closer so that I could go to Lena with my every day hair needs!

I worked with Lena from Hair that Moves for my September 2013. Lena and her colleague, Jenn, handled hair and/or makeup for myself, four bridesmaids, two moms, one grandmother, and one sister. They were fantastic!

Lena was a joy to work with. She executed my hair and makeup exactly as I'd imagined, even incorporating a few minor changes from what we'd done at the trial. My hair stayed all night but didn't feel plastered to my head. My makeup looked flawless, even after sweating it out on the dance floor. Lena is excellent at listening to what you'd like and also giving advice on what she thinks will work best. She was also great with my mom who is not used to wearing much makeup.

Lena and Jenn were wonderful to have with us as we got ready on the morning of the wedding. Calm and friendly, they were a great addition to our day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Hair that Moves.

If i had a nickle for every time someone gushed over my hair on my wedding day, I'd be rich! Lena did an awesome job- and the darn thing stayed in ALL DAY LONG! It wasn't stiff and tacky, but gorgeously uplifted and natural looking. She listened to my ideas and looked at the photos I supplied her with during my trial run. She took photos of my hair during the trial run. She was completely prepared on my wedding day. She put me at ease while working on my hair, and gave me tips on how to keep my mane looking good all day long.

The best part? She comes to you the day of your wedding, which saves you the stress of running around to have your hair done! And she's a doll, too. Thanks Lena, for making me look beautiful on my wedding day!

Lena was absolutely wonderful! I was looking for someone to come do my bridesmaids hair (I had 8 of them) and the mother of the groom because my cousin was going to take care of mine and my moms. She now only showed up on time at my house and had the first girl in the chair early to get the day started, she stuck to her schedule (30mins per girl!!!!) and we were all done on time!! Because of how fast she works (not giving up any quality with her speed) we were able to start our day later than any other wedding I've ever been in, it was wonderful, we had such a relaxed morning and were not pressed for time at all. She helped to make the getting ready part stress free and with that many girls and the mother of the groom you would have thought it was a challenge but she absolutely knows what shes doing, shes so professional and sweet and I highly recommend her to any bride who wants a laid back, stress free morning!! Dear Lena,

I want to thank you for your wonderful work at my wedding. My hair was perfect and I received so many compliments on my hairstyles for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. You were able to create the exact looks that I wanted for my hair on both nights. For the wedding, my mother's and my bridesmaids' hairstyles also looked just as nice, and complimented my wedding day hair as well. I was impressed that everyone had a different style, but we all fit together with a relaxed, "beachy" look.

You were pleasant to work with and efficient with your time, which is so important when there are eight women getting their hair done in one morning. Thank you for everything and I hope to work with you again soon!

Let me start by saying that I did not actually work with Lena, I only had e-mail correspondence with her. I inquired about her availability, and she responded with an incredibly rude e-mail about how she's been booked for that date for over a year and that she'd be surprised if I found anyone who was still available. It was still 5 months before my wedding! A simple "I'm already booked" would have been just fine. I think we dodged a bullet.
