Absolutely Recommend!
Hair & Makeup by Lulu was absolutely fantastic for my wedding in December. Lulu and her team were professional, talented, and so easy to work with. They were able to come to my house to do hair for 10 members of my bridal party + myself (bride) and they were amazing! They accommodated the bridesmaids' hair requests and made their hair look absolutely beautiful. They were up to date on trends and they knew what would make each bridesmaid look beautiful. They incorporated hair pieces that my bridesmaids brought. We had a tight schedule since we had to get so many ready and Lulu's team delivered. They were on-time and right on schedule the entire time.
I was so impressed with the way that my hair came out. I was able to send photos of exactly what I wanted. Lulu and Maria (the main hair stylist) studied the photos I sent at every step to make sure it was what I wanted. They asked me questions both during my trial and on the wedding day to make sure that the progress was what I wanted. My hair lasted all night long through tons of dancing. It was literally my dream hairstyle and exactly what I wanted for my wedding day.
I did not receive makeup services from Lulu and her team, but based on her professionalism and talent, I would recommend her for both services for any bride looking for both. Lulu and her team are very experienced with weddings and the timing of a wedding day. They made my day so much easier because I left everything up to an experienced professional. I also loved that they post examples on their social media because it gave me a visual of the quality they delivered. Definitely book Hair & Makeup by Lulu! 5/5 stars! -

The Best Ever!
I got married in October of 2021. Lulu and Maria did my trial, bridal portraits, and day of hair and makeup as well as my bridal party. I walked into my trial so nervous not knowing what the ending results were going to be. Lulu made me feel absolutely comfortable and helped me find my perfect look for my wedding! We ALL got compliments throughout the night and everyone had a wonderful experience with them! Lulu's team did an AMAZING job and I could not have been happier about the outcome of everyone! -

I recently got married in November in Corpus Christi. Lulu and her Team were amazing! With a start time of 6am and a total of 8 people for hair and make up they were able to get us glammed up right on time. I was so happy that every single one of my girls LOVED their hair and make up and it lasted all day/night long. Very professional and made my vision come to life, Lulu was my only bridal trial and I never had to look anywhere else! I am so grateful for their hard work and patience. I never felt more beautiful and I received so many compliments on my look. This mother/daughter duo is highly recommended if anyone is having a special event in the Corpus Christi area! Amazing Getting Ready Experience!
Lulu did my bridesmaids and I's hair and makeup for both my wedding as well as for my Bridal session. She was so accommodating to do what worked best for me, was patient with any changes we requested, was detail oriented so that we looked great and that we stayed on schedule and she was so nice and was amazing to work with. She and her mom did such an amazing job on both our hair and makeup and made our visions come to life. I very highly recommend Lulu for your hair and makeup needs for your wedding and any big event. You will not be disappointed! -

Absolutely Amazing!! ⭐️
My husband and I recently got married this summer in Port Aransas. He and I are from Houston, so we weren’t familiar with a lot of people in the area. During the planning phase I knew I needed to find someone who could come and do our makeup for the event, so I turned to the internet of course! I looked through a few companies, and then…I found Lulu and I just knew! Her work looked absolutely stunning and the reviews were just spectacular. After reaching out she contacted me quickly and she was available for the wedding date! She even had another event earlier in the day, but was so sweet and without hesitation said she would be able to do it :)
But y’all, it wasn’t only that. My schedule was so tight that summer. I was trying to pack in all the things. Hair, makeup, trials, planning, last minute runs to buy everything all while I was in school trying to juggle finals. We were down to the wire. I knew I needed to fit in a trial run, and I think Lulu and I maybe changed the date and time to do that maybe 2 or 3 times. And she was so sweet and helpful and amenable to every last minute change. Even trying to help me fit it in around a event she was scheduled to attend. And as the stressed out bride, to have someone work with you like that was just so amazing and sweet! We were able to get it all worked out in the end and the look after the trial was just gorgeous! And then y’all, as we got closer to the date she would check in with me periodically to keep me updated and make sure we were on the same page. AND when she found out she could be there earlier, she contacted me to let me know she would be there sooner than planned which helped us out so much with timing! Finally, on the day of the wedding she did the most spectacular job! She did all of my sisters and my mother first, and they all looked amazing. She was able to make the look so cohesive, while yet giving each of them a little something to make their look unique to them. It was perfect. And then y’all, after she finished mine I was absolutely stunned. It was elegant and summery. I just felt like I glowed. And y’all, when I say this makeup did not budge all night…this makeup did not budge, and my wedding was outside in August. If you have a chance to work with Lulu for your event, do it! Lulu was so kind, so professional, so accommodating, so sweet, and y'all, her work is stunning! Thank you so much Lulu for everything you did for us to making the day absolutely special!! -

An amazing experience for an amazing day!
Lulu and her team stood by me and were incredibly flexible during my entire time of wedding planning. From last minute changes to add ons she rolled with everything and made me feel like everything was going to be great. She truly was like a part of the bridal party and I couldn’t be more grateful! She listens to what you want and makes sure you are satisfied at your trial and obviously wedding day! She is punctual! She arrived early and we all know we need someone who stays on schedule lol. Lulu is beyond easy to work with and so professional. I was so nervous because I don't know too much about make up, but she made me so comfortable, and was really open a out all the products she was using. We did a trail makeup session to make sure the look I had envisioned in my mind was what I really wanted. She did great in giving me her professional opinion and letting me ultimately choose what I wanted. -

I had my hair done for my wedding (October 2020) with Lulu & her mom, Maria and I definitely recommend them! The communication was excellent, especially since I booked last minute. I also liked how the ladies listened and offered suggestions based on my trial run. My hair is long and thick so we had to make some adjustments, so I recommend having a trial run. I was also impressed with how quick and efficient the ladies were. The day of my wedding my hair stayed in place all day & even at night while we celebrated outside. I received many compliments and I was very happy with the look! -

Lulu and her mom Maria were the perfect addition to my wedding vendor team! Lulu is the sweetest and was my main point of contact for the entire year leading up to the wedding. She was very responsive the entire time and answered any questions and concerns I had. I booked them for the entire wedding package which includes a bridal hair and make up trial which I used for my bridal portraits about two months before the wedding and it turned out wonderful! They were both so thorough in understanding exactly what I wanted for wedding day as far as colors, styles, etc, it was so helpful! On actual wedding day, they showed up to our hotel right on time at 6 AM and wasted no time getting set up and ready to go. They prepped my mom, 4 bridesmaids and myself with hair and makeup and were done right on time at 12 PM. They did a phenomenal job getting us ready and all the girls looked beautiful! Then they were gracious enough to travel to my venue to do any last-minute touchups on us. I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team and would highly recommend them for your wedding! So grateful to Lulu and Maria for making it so perfect! -

I'm glad I booked with lulu, she is so sweet, easy to talk to, and is amazing at her job. I am super picky sometimes and dont know what i want,, and she was so nice with me about changing the look and getting me exsactly what I was going for. Ifelt so special and beautiful on my wedding day, thanks to lulu!
But being as picky as I am, I do recommend you do the wedding pre consultantation its worth it to know exactly what look you'd like, sometimes it comes out differently then you imagine. -

Lulu was absolutely amazing! I had an early morning wedding so waking up at 5am was extremely hard. Well so I thought! Lulu was so much fun and energetic, I didn’t even think about coffee not once. She’s an amazing person inside and out. She recreated the exact makeup look I was going for, for my beach wedding. My hair also looked absolutely stunning, and she did it in no time. Lulu also ensured everything was sanitized which I appreciated. Especially with everything going on with COVID19. I honestly felt like I was going to walk on a runway after Lulu finished my hair and makeup. She also got me a cute personalized wedding present which I loved so much. It’s the little things that matter most. I 10000% recommend her for your event! -

I was rather nervous for the outcome seeing as we had no real in person consultation, so it was all done over the phone. Everyone was so very impressed and would recommend her for ANYTHING! She gave me lots of options in person and was extremely flexible with everything. I would not hesitate to pick her again! Excellent is an understatement!
