Perfection
I truly don't even know the right words to explain how much my entire bridal party and I loved Morgan, her team, and their work. She did several of us all weekend long and somehow managed to make 15 different girls happy. I felt so beautiful and she was able to listen to my every wish and make it happen. She is so sweet and professional and I can not recommend her enough.-

Morgan and her team were amazing to work with on the day of the wedding. Myself and the bridesmaids received many compliments on our hair and make up, which lasted all night! Highly recommend Morgan! She went over and beyond! -

Best Experience
Morgan and her team did an AMAZING job! It was very humid and rained the whole day of my wedding which left me worried about how everyone's hair and makeup would look, but even by the end of the night all my girls looked stunning. My mom and mother-in-law looked so beautiful and my mom even went out a purchased some of the products Morgan used on her because she loved the look so much. Even weeks after my wedding, I texted Morgan some questions about makeup and she was happy to share any information I needed. By far the best experience I've ever had with a hair and makeup team- I've been in several weddings and each time the hair and makeup team was not very friendly for whatever reason, but Morgan and her girls were super easy to talk to and it just felt like we were hanging out. They even had time to do my aunt's hair and makeup which was not originally planned for, but Morgan did not hesitate to accommodate us. Do yourself a favor and book these ladies...you will not regret it!!! -

Absolutely Amazing!
Morgan was so incredibly sweet and easy to work with. I had 10 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and 4 additional ladies (and myself) that were getting hair and makeup done for the day. Somehow, Morgan and her team kept us ahead of schedule throughout the entire day. I was very worried about the timing of when the first girls were going to need to be up to start getting ready, Morgan worked very hard and well with me on ensuring it wasn't too early that morning. Some of the girls don't wear much makeup, and Morgan did an awesome job ensuring they still felt beautiful and glamorous without feeling like their faces were caked in foundation and still looked like themselves. All of my girls felt very comfortable with Morgan and expressing their likes and don't likes for the end objective. At the end of the day, Morgan wants everybody to look and feel gorgeous and that is exactly what she was able to provide! -

Perfection!
Morgan and her assistant were fantastic and so easy to work with! Morgan was able to work her magic and give me the exact style I wanted, even when I wasn't exactly able to articulate what I had in mind. I would definitely recommend her to anyone! -

Great wedding hair/makeup experience!
Morgan and her team were extremely easy to work with! I had 6 bridesmaids, two mothers, and myself for hair and makeup and Morgan made the morning go so smoothly. My girls were able to bring in photos of the styles they liked and Morgan gave her professional expertise and opinion on which styles would work best. Her team was extremely punctual the day of and I had no worries that they would exceed our expectations! -

Morgan did such An amazing job ! I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup stylist for my wedding day !! Morgan and her associate artist Baylee was amazing!!! She was able to accommodate all 10 of my bridesmaids plus me within a short amount of time! She goes above and beyond to make you feel like the most beautiful bride! I highly recommend her! -

Morgan got up SO early to make the drive to Birmingham for my mother's hair and make up for a couples session she was having that day with my dad. She was just so friendly and accommodating. My mother absolutely LOVED her work and felt so confident when taking her photos. Morgan is amazing! -

I was thrilled to have Morgan Johnson do hair and makeup for my best friends BIG DAY!! I was in charge of booking someone for hair/makeup; and I sure am glad I picked Morgan! She was patient, kind and so much fun to have around! She did such an amazing job on all 10 of the bridesmaids, and our bride looked perfect for her big day. Morgan's work speaks for itself but I only have great things to say about her. She did the hair and makeup for my entire bridal party a couple of weeks ago and we all looked stunning. She made sure that everyone had their own look and no one looked the same! She is amazing at what she does! Highly recommended. -

Okay, not overly impressed
I booked Morgan almost 1 year in advance. At first, I was super impressed with Morgan, she was great! Very professional and helped me pick out the look I was going for- I’m super indecisive. At my trial run Morgan mentioned how popular my day was and all the inquiries she had been receiving- we laughed and noted how popular of a wedding day it was going to be. Then about 1 week before my wedding we were going over the timeline and I felt like she was rushing through my day- she wanted to be done at 11:30AM. My pictures were not until 2:30PM and ceremony 6:30PM. After a long conversation I figured out Morgan had booked another bride and her bridal party- not a big deal (or so I thought.) Morgan and her team arrived early and set up everything. We started at the agreed time but none of my bridal party got a say in their makeup- everyone got the same look. I was disappointed in this because not all of my girls are the same. Hair was going great, until it wasn’t. A lot of girls had to have their hair redone because she was rushing- I’m pretty sure she spent about 4 minutes on one of my girls. Her hair fell almost immediately, it was a disaster. We ended up fixing most everyone’s hair and makeup. Her assistants were very nice, but left before all of my girls were done because they were rushing to get to the next bride and her party. Over all, my HAMU was good- but a lot of my girls were disappointed. With Morgan and her team rushing it felt like there was no time to correct any mistakes they had made. Not sure I would recommend her to anyone besides a very laid back bride who doesn’t care much. -

Do NOT hire Morgan. She added more stress to my wedding day than any other vendor. I signed a contract & paid my deposit a year in advance - she booked another wedding on our day and accommodated to that bride’s schedule rather than mine (& didn’t tell me she double booked or even ask me if that was okay!). I’m a pro wedding photographer who works in this industry so I can only imagine how she would treat someone else. I worked out a timeline w/ her months in advance & my timeline never changed. Her rough draft timeline didn’t add up correctly so I went ahead & booked a separate makeup artist (best decision I ever made - you should book @danielle_hairandmua) because I knew we wouldn’t get done in time. She called me THE DAY before my wedding to tell me that she wasn’t even going to show - she was going to bring in people that didn’t even have any relation to her business (not her regular assistants) AND she told me they HAD to start at 8AM when I had been telling her for months we weren’t starting until 9AM. I finally reached her on the phone & told her how this was crazy & unfair - she agreed to come do my hair. Come to find out, she had been calling around to other hair artists & planning not to show up to my wedding 3 DAYS prior to calling & notifying me. The people she called to come get us ready then told me the NIGHT before my wedding (at 11PM) that they weren’t coming anymore because I wasn’t paying their assistant fee (I booked thru Morgan why am I now responsible for paying your fee? Not blaming them but come on…really?). I tried calling Morgan - no answer. No call back either! I ended up talking to the other person who was going to come & Morgan answered her call & not mine (!!) the other vendor called me back to tell me that assistants were coming the next day. I had to rely on a STRANGER to know if people were going to show up for my wedding. The rest of my review is in the photos! Beware!!!!! -
