  Incredible experience! Best hair stylist!

  Joyce did my hair for my wedding. My hair turned out absolutely perfect! She was able to completely replicate the vision I had. Joyce is professional and experienced and I would highly recommend her for bridal hair , or any occasion! I could not have asked for a better hair stylist for my big day !

  Just got married two days ago and couldn’t wait to recommend Joyce. During the trial, she assessed my hair type and listened to what i envisioned while also making sure the style worked best for my hair type (my hair is very long and curly and i wanted old Hollywood waves). It was only me and my sister getting our hair done for the wedding but Joyce was so amazing. She was on time and even after she was finished with both of us, she waited around in my hotel suite to touch up my hair after my makeup artist was done. Everyone absolutely loved my hair and I felt sooo beautiful the whole day.

  Wedding 9/20/19

  I recently got married and Joyce did mine, my mom, my sister and other bridesmaid’s hair and it looked like PERFECTION! My hair was absolutely beautiful and I felt glamourous. Joyce was very friendly and attentive including at our hair trial back in July. I would absolutely recommend Bows and Arrows NYC for all special events. They will have you looking and feeling like a million bucks!

  Absolutely Amazing

  Joyce made my wedding day perfect. My hair was gorgeous. She listened to what I wanted and put her own touch on it. Very patient being the day of is a little crazy. I would definitely record her. She has gift like no other. What she can do with hair is amazing!

  Very happy bride

  Joyce from Bows and Arrows styled my hair my wedding day. I can’t even begin to explain just how talented she is. I first met Joyce when she styled for my best friend Anna’s wedding. I remember how impressed at how efficient she is, everyone’s hair looked fabulous and she kept on schedule. All us girls were done in time for photos, which from previous experiences at other weddings, does not happen a lot. She’s a true professional. My hair looked neat and fabulous and and was very fitting for an elegant wedding event. My hair never looked so elegant! Two years later, I knew I needed her style my hair for my wedding! we scheduled an appointment for the hair trial and she took her time to try different looks. She definitely kept to my vision of the look I wanted and I never felt rushed. The months before my wedding she always replied quickly to my text messages and calls, and was very kind and supportive throughout the whole process. The day of the wedding, she came early and was done ahead of schedule. I was able to get great photos before leaving for the wedding ceremony. There is something special about Joyce, you can tell she’s genuinely excited for your event and not only is very skilled but she made me feel at ease because she’s just so professional. My hair on my wedding day looked stunning, and it perfected my look. It was beyond my expectations. I received so many compliments from everyone and as soon as my hair was done , I felt so happy, at ease, and confident. I would recommend Joyce in a heartbeat to any bride.

  Joyce is the go to for styling!!

  Joyce came down to Virginia for my wedding in August. Before the wedding I met with her on one of her trips to Georgetown and she pointed out that my hair needed some lightening around my face to make my hair pop on my big day and also looked at the veil I was going to use and made recommendations for modifications - she couldn't have been more spot on. On my wedding day Joyce worked absolute magic and even did my lashes which were perfect. I am not a girly girl, I don't do a lot with my hair and rarely wear makeup - she made me look so fantastic but in a way that was totally authentically me. She also fit in two additional people which was so kind of her - everyone she worked on looked absolutely stunning. She is a true professional, really I cannot say enough good things about her talent and attention to detail - plus she is a down to earth person. I also have to add that my hair stayed perfect for over 12 hours of wear which never happens, it usually falls out so quickly but I actually had to take it down at the end of the night. Thank you so much Joyce for making me picture perfect for my big day, and for making me feel so beautiful.

  Joyce gave me the ponytail of my dreams. She is the only one I want to do my updos for the last 15 years.   Fabulous Experience

  Working with Bows and Arrows was a great experience. We all looked amazing and felt gorgeous. I was told that I looked like a movie star, that I looked stunning and that I looked beautiful! Wow, the compliments were amazing! It couldn’t have been better.

  I had my heart set on Joyce to do hair for my wedding. My wedding was really last minute and she had other jobs already booked. My heart sank because I couldn’t imagine having to trust someone else on such a big day. I knew the quality of her work and have followed her forever. She went out of her way to make it work even though her schedule was booked. I didn’t even need to give her a direction. She looked at my dress and got my vibe immediately. My hair looked beautiful and stayed that way through the entire night. She was also kind enough to do my mother’s hair and my maid of honor. Not only was I totally happy with my hair but she really helped put me at ease and made me laugh all morning leading up to the wedding.

  Chiara was referred to me by a friend who has used her for events in the past. I am so happy I went with the Bows and Arrows NYC team for my wedding hair. Wedding hair is such an important part of the whole process - the bride and her crew want to be comfortable and look pretty for all the photos! At my trial I knew I made the right decision - Chiara is so knowlegable about hair and products and took the time to talk with me about my vision / concers so she can understand what would be best for me. As someone who doesn't know much about hair/products it was comforting to hear her talk so passionately about my hair and how certain styles would frame my face and work with my dress - I was super impressed. They day of teh wedding was specatular. Chiara and Joyce did a fabulous job on everyone. I had a guest tell me my bridal hair was the best they have seen and that this was the first wedding they have been to where they liked every single one of the bridesmaids hair styles. I cannot recommend them enough.

  Joyce is amazing! She did my hair for my shower and wedding. She knew exactly what would go perfectly with my dress and personality. She is honest, trustworthy and unbelievably talented. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt perfect on my wedding day. I was comfortable, confident and able to dance the night away. SHE IS THE BEST!!!!

  Joyce did my hair for my wedding and it was perfection! She did a timeless romantic updo for the church as well as a 2nd look for the reception. She works quickly and is a master at her craft. My mother and Bridal Party had their hair done as well and everyone looked stunning! I’ve recommended her repeatedly and will continue to do so for years to come!

Shes patient, kind, and I always know when she’s around that everything will be ok, which helps on such a big day! I can’t thank her enough for always showing up and putting in the work. I’m not the easiest to please, but in her hands I never have to think twice.

  Picture Perfect

  Joyce is incredible!!! She has been my hair stylist for the past 12 years. Joyce did the most beautiful updo on my wedding day. She made me feel so at ease and calmed down my nerves. She brought hair extensions for me, a crystal hair piece for my maid of honor, and of course all of her amazing products to make my hair picture perfect. Joyce also did my mother in law’s hair that day (not easy to please) and she still talks about how happy she was with her hair. I love having Joyce as my stylist and would highly recommend her to everyone!

  Wonderful wedding

  Joyce did my hair for my summer wedding. Not only was the style on point for the ceremony, it lasted all through the reception, and it was over 100 degrees all day! Joyce was responsive and created a style that suited my dress and personality perfectly; that was comfortable and unique. I couldn’t be happier with her and my hair!
