As a 49-year-old bride eloping from South Carolina to Kentucky for a second marriage, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the traditional bridal experience. What I learned was that the team at Louisville Bridal Bar treated me with the same excitement, care, and attention that any first-time bride would receive. From the moment I reached out, they made me feel valued, celebrated, and completely seen.
Because I was coming in from out of state, they kindly arranged my trial appointment during a holiday weekend to ensure I didn’t miss out on the full bridal prep experience. That alone meant so much to me.
On the big day, Reba did my hair and Emily worked her magic with my makeup, and both were absolutely fantastic—warm, friendly, and incredibly talented. They took the time to listen to my ideas, understand what I was envisioning, and help enhance my natural features in a way that still felt like me. I’ve often been self-conscious about my appearance, but these two amazing women made me feel confident, radiant, and truly beautiful on one of the most meaningful days of my life.
I am so grateful to the Louisville Bridal Bar for making me feel special, supported, and stunning. If you’re a bride, at any age or stage of life, I can’t recommend them enough. -

Nailed it!
I had a unique hairstyle in mind (vintage, old Hollywood updo) and Brittany executed it perfectly! She also came up with great ideas to do my bridemaids' hair that matched our theme. Everyone looked lovely and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! -

I am so glad I found Bridal Bar for my wedding day! Heather was a delight to work with and nailed all of our wedding party looks for the day. She was able to work with a variety of hair types, including halo extensions and everyone was so impressed.
Our hair held ALL NIGHT LONG, and we didn't even really need touchups throughout
the day. -

I cannot overstate how wonderful my experience with Hair Bar was both leading up to and on my wedding day! Because I'm from out of town, I had to do my hair and makeup trial two days before the wedding which was a bit stressful, but Georgi and MacKenzie were absolutely wonderful and helped me feel comfortable with it being so close. On my wedding day, they were so professional but super fun, and we all had a very relaxing time getting ready. They did a perfect job with each of my bridesmaids, and my hair and makeup was literally exactly what I wanted. The makeup photographed beautifully and wasn't too heavy, and all of our hairstyles stayed all day. I cannot understate how awesome my experience was, and I highly recommend Hair Bar! -

Perfect Hair
I had another vendor cancel last minute. Hair bar jumped in and I was rebooked less than a few weeks out in minutes. Heather was great! Everyone's hair looked beautiful and we were done and ready in time to relax before photos and the ceremony. I'd definitely call the team again in the future. -

Amazing!!!!
Jennifer was amazing!!! She did mine and my bridal parties hair for my wedding day. All of the girls, including myself, were raving about her. Not only does she create beautiful hair styles, but she is so kind, professional and punctual. I recommend her to everyone! -

The Bridal Bar was fantastic. They made me and my girls feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day. It was important for me to have a relaxed low-key morning with my girls, and Bridal Bar was able to provide that; I had no worries all morning. Heather and MacKenzie were friendly and fun and made me feel relaxed and at ease on my special day! They were also organized and efficient, arrived on time, and got done a bit early! I wouldn't trust anyone else on this day! -

Bridal Bar was AMAZING! I showed them my idea and they delivered! Georgi not only did stellar on the intricate braid with the vines on myself, she made my bridesmaid and mom feel just as beautiful. Then of course, Kathryn and Mac worked their magic on all of our makeup. This team was fun to work with on trial day AND the wedding. They bring so much joy and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better team of artists. -

I highly recommend hair bar for all of your wedding hair (and other hair) needs. Jennifer did an amazing job on my hair and my Bridal parties hair. She also colored my hair at the same time as my trial appointment and it looked fantastic. I have a difficult hair texture to work with (frizzy curly and very thick) and she had no trouble making it look absolutely perfect. She was so nice and professional and did a great job planning out a timeline with my makeup artists to make things go smoothly. I let everyone in my bridal party pick their own hairstyles on the spot and she excuted perfectly without hesitation despite the chaos that was my waaaay over crowded and loud bridal suite. Everyone's hair held up all night. I was an extremely anxious and nervous bride and she played a huge part it making my wedding day go smoothly. -

I highly recommend Hair Bar for so may reasons: talent, professionalism, value and ease to work with just to name a few. I got married during the pandemic (lots of changes to plans because of this) and Jennifer was so easy to work with and understanding. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair as did I. -

I started seeing Jennifer a few months before my wedding and I’m so glad I did. She then had a complete understanding of exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I loved my hair on my wedding day and she had my full trust that she would do great on my girls hair also that day! She’s so great and creative. Do not think twice about going with her for your hair needs in your wedding day! She’s so wonderful, she became my regular stylist! -

Wedding hair for bride, Groom, bridesmaids and mother’s!
Jennifer did an absolutely incredible job On all of our hair. We had her do hair for me (the bride), the groom, all the bridesmaids and mothers. We had a wide variety of hair types, textures, lengths and hair style wishes and she exceeded expectations on all of them. Do yourself a favor and make her part of your wedding day team! She is flexible, easy to work with, creative, talented, and was an absolutely essential part of my team. I did hair trials with other hairdressers and Jennifer outshined them all. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. I cannot stress enough that she will just make you (and all your ladies or men) shine on your big day!!! -

Jen has been my hair stylist for two years now. She is also the regular stylist of my mother, two of my bridesmaids, my officiant, and my ring bearer! I began going to Jen after I booked her for my wedding. It was probably the best decision I made in the planning process. Not only did my hair and that of my wedding party look incredible, my hair color was perfect! I had bridal party members who were used to the pampering of a regular hairstylist, and those who had never had anything more than a trim, let alone an updo - Jen catered to each of them, making everyone feel comfortable and beautiful If she is available on your wedding day, BOOK HER, you will not regret it! -

Jennifer is wonderful!
Jennifer was exceptionally kind during my hair trial and on the day of my wedding as well! I was so impressed that she was able to make all of my bridesmaids love their hair as that was very, very important to me. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and I’m so glad that I booked her to do all of our hair! I would book her again a million times over. -

Highly Recommended Hair Stylist
Jennifer did a fantastic job with ALL the hair for my wedding party. She was efficient doing myself (the bride), 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms and 2 grandmas in just 4-5 hours. Everyone wanted different styles including braids, updos, curls, half up dos along with various hair lengths and thickness. She made everyone look so beautiful and our looks lasted all night! She showed up on time and prepared and made sure everyone was happy with their style before leaving. She also offers trial services prior to the wedding day included in her price (which are very reasonable). I highly recommend Jennifer at Hair Bar for your wedding! She is extremely talented and so very easy to work with. -

Hair dresser to friend!
It was such a wonderful experience and I loved ever but of it! She did an incredible job on my hair. We didn’t adjust hardly anything during my trial because she knocked out of the park first go! I would recommend her to anyone, and now I think of her as a friend and will go to her regularly for my haircut. -

Wonderful!!
Jennifer was nothing short of amazing!! I lived out of town and had to schedule my hair trial the week of my wedding. Jennifer was so accommodating, and she was able to create the exact hairstyle I had envisioned for my wedding day! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable during my trial and the day of. She had everyone's hair done ahead of schedule, and she made everyone feel beautiful! My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how much they loved their hairstyles that Jennifer created. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I cannot recommend Jennifer enough to all future brides! :) -

Jennifer TOTALLY nailed it on my wedding day for me, my mom, and all my girls. I've been in close to 10 weddings and I have never seen people as happy with their hair as they were when Jennifer did it! I mean, really, show her a pinterest picture and she makes it happen. Jennifer at Hair Bar made my vision a reality. I was looking for a wedding updo to match my vintage dress, and she made it happen. Jennifer also gave my bridesmaids and mother looks to match their personal styles. She works quickly, but still makes you feel relaxed and stress-free. Jennifer is fun to talk to, punctual, and I would HIGHLY recommend her services to any bride. -

Jennifer did my wedding hair, and did an absolutely wonderful job. Prior to my wedding, I started seeing Jennifer as a client - letting her cut my hair for the first time in over a year. She got to know me and is so personable and friendly. I'm usually fairly introverted, but Jennifer is so easy to talk to and makes you feel right at home. When it was time for my trial run, I had some vague ideas of what I wanted but nothing concrete. Jennifer took my ideas and transformed them into something far more beautiful than I could've ever imagined. When the day of my wedding arrived, Jennifer was confident and calm, even amidst some very high-maintenance individuals in my wedding party. She took everything in stride, and had the best positive attitude taking care of all of us. She helped keep me calm and made me laugh, relaxing me on one of the biggest days of my life. Not only that, but her work is truly amazing - I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer, both personally and professionally. I highly, highly recommend Jennifer for all of your hair needs! -

Jennifer was amazing. From the day of my trial, to getting my hair dyed and the day of the wedding I had absolutely no complains. She also did an amazing job with all of my bridesmaids all by herself and at a timely manner. My hair was a dream come true. I can’t take her enough for everything she has done for me. During the trial run, Jennifer was very concerned with listening to Jordan's wishes and working with her to create the perfect up do for her wedding. Jennifer was patient and articulate in the details. On the wedding day, Jennifer was professional, organized and unbelievably quick with working with our timeline. Each bridesmaid had a different style and they all looked amazing. Their hair also stayed perfect for over 12 hours. I'm so glad we found Jennifer!

Liz Sent on 10/22/2017Jennifer was amazing!! From our first consultation up until the wedding day she was professional, on time, really good at doing any hairstyle, and very flexible! She came to where we were getting ready and did hair for all nine of my bridesmaids plus my mom, grandmother, and of course me! My wedding was in July and she gave great advice about styles based on the heat, but also took the exact look I wanted and made it happen. She helped me with the day of time line, and she was very reasonably priced (especially for my extra large group). It was always very obvious to me that Jennifer is experienced with wedding hair styling, and she was very down to earth, aware of current hair/style trends, and capable of creating multiple looks that my party and I all loved! All around I was very very satisfied and would highly recommend her services to anyone!

My hair is fine, but long, and doesn't hold a curl very well. Jennifer knocked it OUT OF THE PARK with my trial. It lasted all day and THROUGH A NAP! The day-of style was the same quality and I didn't need to worry about one strand throughout the day. Brooke did a fantastic job with my makeup as well, especially when I got nit-picky through my trial. THe makeup lasted all day and night. I couldn't have asked for a better team for our big day! -

I LOVED my hair. I do wish the bobby pins by my face were hidden better (the photographer pointed it out, but when it was fixed, it was showing again 1 hr later in photos). The hairstylists were kind, on time, professional, and fast.
My airbrush makeup was also great, but the makeup artist (Brooke Spurgeon) was 2 hours late which meant half of my bridesmaids were without makeup for several photos, and made us late leaving for the wedding. I gave the schedule to Bridal Bar several times and yet the makeup artist was still late and told the hairstylist she thought she could come later at 9am and still be done by the scheduled 11am, but she didn't have everyone done until 12:20pm. We spent a lot of money on makeup & photos to not have this done on time - especially as easily preventable as this. NOT the kind of stress you want on your wedding day. -

I did a trial here. The spray they used on my hair took all of the shine out and made it look dull. Also, I could have done the style better myself and the stylist I had said subtle digs about my hair quality throughout my trial (did NOT make me feel like the beautiful bride I should've felt like). My make up artist did not listen when I said I wanted very little make up and for it to look natural. However, they were very responsive and decent in price.
