I cannot say enough AMAZING words to tell you how incredible H& L Lovely is! I had the honor of having Lorie by my side during this incredible journey. As a bride, peace of mind is essential. Knowing who to turn to, recommendations on vendors, knowledge of the industry, a concrete timeline, and most of all an understanding of needs as the couple, is crucial to having the most incredible night of your life. During wedding planning, you may think you're speaking to your fiancé the most - news flash - your planner is your best friend, confidant, and the person who knows the in's and out's of all things wedding related. Quite honestly, they will know all things about you personally & as a couple. All that to be said, you would feel incredibly lucky to have Lorie taking care of you and being the person for you. Like I said, it was MY honor to have her along for the ride and I would do it all again just to be able to spend more time with her and talk through so many ups & downs wedding planning offers.
On the day of, my family admitted how lucky I was that Lorie & Howard were there with us to make sure the day went off without a hitch, while I got hitched. Although my wedding was “small”, there was so much going on. With Lorie, I was able to have all my friends and family focused on the most important part…being together. We truly could not have made it through the day without the both of them. There was no detail left unturned. My type-A personality was calmed by knowing Lorie was going to get it done. From all the potential family drama to the most love I think I will ever feel in one day, I have Lorie to thank making sure there was nothing but positivity surrounding my husband and I. Additionally, Marcie on Lorie’s Team, was absolutely incredible. She was literally by my side the entire day. If I need water, lipstick, dress straightened, communication to my husband, etc. Marcie was on it. I feel so lucky, as I type this, remembering how carefree I felt on this day because of the H&L Lovely Team.

I recently had the privilege of being the best man at a wedding Lorie helped plan and bring to life.
Over the years, I've taken on the role of best man and groomsman at several weddings. But never before have I felt compelled to write a review for a wedding planner—until now.
Yesterday, I was dining at a restaurant when a poster caught my attention. Printed in bold letters, it read: “GIVE A DAMN”. I immediately thought of Lorie. Even though the wedding was a couple of days ago, the memories of Lorie truly "giving a damn" remain in my mind.
If you're on the hunt for a wedding planner who genuinely invests in your big day as much as you do, Lorie is your person. Her dedication and care are palpable.
On the wedding day, I arrived at the venue to find her already coordinating with vendors, guiding me, and ensuring everything was set. Throughout the rehearsal, Lorie diligently ensured that each of us knew our roles perfectly. Not once did I observe her being inattentive or distracted. With her hawk-eyed attention to detail, she made this the most seamless wedding I've ever attended.
As the night progressed, Lorie's commitment didn't wane. Far from stepping back to relax, she constantly updated me on the evening's schedule, right down to the final dishes to be served. And, at around 11 pm, as I was one of the last to leave, Lorie was still there, ensuring I had a great time.
But it wasn’t just Lorie. Her husband, Howard, was just as instrumental, just as involved, and just as caring!
I'm deeply grateful to both Lorie and Howard for making my brother's and his wife’s dream wedding a reality. Their genuine passion and "giving a damn" made all the difference. Thank you! -

Best Wedding Planner!
Lorie is warm hearted person with a professional mind.
I was worried before having my first meeting with Lorie because she did not have a lot of reviews but after the first meeting I new Lorie was the one!
She is down to earth, she knows what she is doing and she was always there for me to help! even my venue manager complimented on her professionalism.
I was so thankful and felt lucky to have Lorie as my wedding planner because I know that I could have not done my ceremony without Lorie.

If you are looking for a reliable, kind, responsive, and dedicated wedding coordinator then look no further. H&L Lovely Creations made our day stress free. Originally, my wife and I had decided to not move forward with Lorie because our budget didn't allow for it. After a couple months of stress trying to coordinate it ourselves, we came back to Lorie and it was one of the best decisions we made! Along the way we had a couple hiccups with our venue but she stayed composed and found alternatives for everything. Her work is worth every single cent and I have recommended her to friends and family. We are extremely grateful for Lorie & Howard - an amazing duo! -

Lorie and her team were absolutely incredible. She is a complete professional in every aspect. Here are some of the reasons I would recommend her:
1. Her response time was impeccable and I would receive a response from her within minutes saying she got my email or text. She would either respond immediately or let me know she received the message.
2. Through her contacts she helped arrange several special deals with vendors.
3. Her note taking skills on all preplanning talks, visits and décor planning were on point. When needed, she was able to reference her notes on specific dates of the meetings and refer back to what the venders said.
4. She didn’t miss anything in any vendor contracts while arranging the final timeline. She asked all vendors to leave me out of the communication so I was only presented with the final details.
5. She offered to bring breakfast the day of the wedding and picked up lunch and delivered it to the groomsman.
6. She saved us a $275 delivery fee when we questioned a vendors delivery price and had her team go pick up the decor instead.
7. She made me feel special by consistently asking if I needed anything the week of….multiple times.
8. When my bustle broke Lorie was there to sew back on buttons to the dress!
9. She negotiated with the venue on my behalf once we received the final bill. She noticed discrepancies on the bill. She followed up several times and received us a nice refund.
10. She was overall professional, friendly, delightful and accepted any form of communication that my mother and I wanted. She helped shape the final color schemes and offered great expertise. She certainly knows how to make someone feel special.
I would recommend Lorie and her team to anyone! -

The Best Coordinator!
Where do I even begin? Life-saver! I was planning my husband’s 40th birthday dinner for about 20 guests in Palm Desert. For reference, we live in San Diego, I’m a working mom of 2. The minute I got off the phone with Lorie less than 4 weeks before the event, I instantly connected & immediately booked her. Beyond her sweet personality, Lorie was BEYOND professional & so accommodating - replying to my frantic texts & phone calls (I can be a huge ball of anxiety when planning events). She continued to guide me, offering kind, soothing words that “everything will be ok!” And you know what? Everything was more than OK! It was FANTASTIC! It went beyond my expectations & most importantly, my husband felt so celebrated and loved on his special day! Lorie quietly & swiftly took care of ALL outside matters and allowed me to immerse myself in the party and be with my guests whom all traveled by car or by plane! H & L, what an incredible duo! I had the pleasure of meeting these two in a styled shoot and I knew that our paths would continue to cross in the future.
Although their bread & butter are weddings, Lorie & Harold were more than happy to help us with my bridal shower. The event truly would not have been the same without them. Not only are they extremely responsive, detail-oriented, and hard-working but they are also such sweethearts. Whenever stress and nerves got the best of me, Lorie always sent me the sweetest of messages reminding me that everything would work out and that she was there for me through it all. Brides out there, look no further for a planner!
My heart fills with joy just thinking about what blessing it was for fate to connect us together. We hired a planner but now have a lifelong friend.

Where to begin.. We were fortunate enough to have our paths cross with Lori and Harold about six months before our wedding and had no idea of the diamond we had come across. From helping us plan, arranging details, booking tastings, solidifying vendors and absolutely rocking our wedding day; Lori and her team are absolute superstars.
Your wedding day should be a special day for you to remember and one you should not be stressed about. Once we got to know Lori and her team, we had the utmost confidence in them and that meant the world. They exceeded every expectation possible and our wedding day was absolutely flawless.

H&L Lovely Creations went above and beyond with coordinating our wedding. When my husband and I first went into the beginning stages of planning our wedding, we were under the impression that it would be a stressful process. I have worked with her on many many occasions and have always been blown away by her attention to detail and her cool and calm approach to every situation.

We had an small wedding at my parents backyard, we could not afford much but I wanted my special day to be unforgettable. When I first called H & L I was hesitant to share my budget because I felt a bit embarrassed, but after talking to Lorie and explaining her our limited budget situation, she listen and encouraged me and made me feel special and confident that it was my wedding day and it can be as beautiful as I want without spending a fortune. She went on and gave me few ideas on how the backyard can be decorated, she sent me few sketches and I was able to show them to my now husband and we made the decision and hired H & L. Best decision. Our wedding was beautiful and everyone enjoyed. We couldn't be happier with our small backyard wedding. -

Lorie Sent on 08/30/2018I contacted H & L on Dec 2017 for my upcoming wedding on June 2018, they were very flexible and understanding. It was easy to talk to them, they are very friendly. I sent over few ideas for invitations, favors, signage and the decoration for my wedding and Lorie sent me a plan of everything I needed, she added some pictures and gave me options for paper, envelopes, materials, signage and banners that I was needing. Their pricing is very fair and the packages are affordable. I told her my wedding colors and she worked everything out around it, she was all the time in contact with me, making sure I approve the signs, size, text, colors, etc. My wedding day came and I could not be happier of all they did for us!! Our guest loved their name stones as favors, they said they'll put it on their fridge (Lorie added a magnet to each) so it made them special. THANKS H & L for making our day very special.
