Holly delivered our Penn State Tailgate To Remember Theme
Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to Holly! We are very grateful for all her help with coordinating our wedding. All our family and guests enjoyed Holly and talked very highly about her professionalism, personality and charm. She made the day very memorable, relaxing and enjoyable for both of us. We greatly appreciate all of her time, help and coordination. She kept us on track, making sure that we had everything covered and accounted for and all of our t’s and I’s were dotted. She helped deliver a picture-perfect day and the Penn State Tailgate To Remember. We appreciate all of her help with advice with vendors and contracts. She helped us with set up and clean up, which was a huge stress reliever. Words can not express how grateful we are. Without her help and advice, we would have been lost and stressed out. She is the best wedding coordinator! It was nice to hear very high compliments about her work from our other vendors. She truly captured our vision and delivered a very memorable day. Wonderful Wedding Planner!
When I got engaged, I knew I wanted to hire a wedding planner. I wanted someone who would help me stay on track, think of all the little things I had no idea I needed to think about, and most importantly - I didn't want my family or myself to have to worry about a single thing on the big day. Well, I am SO glad I chose Holly to help me plan my wedding. Right from the start, Holly was professional, responsive, and enjoyable to work with. She is very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and has worked with a lot of different vendors - which was very helpful when picking out a photographer, DJ, florist, etc. When my husband and I decided to change our wedding date, Holly was so understanding and flexible - luckily she was available to still help us plan our wedding and we planned the majority of the event in 5 months! She kept me on track and helped me think of things I would have never thought of. On the day of, my family and I were able to relax and enjoy every moment of that day because we knew she had everything taken care of. Thank you Holly for helping to make our day so special - we truly enjoyed working with you! -

Made our wedding day STRESS FREE!!
Holly was so amazing from the very first moment we started working with her! We contacted her about a year and a half before the wedding and she helped keep us organized throughout the whole planning process! The day of the wedding she was a 10/10! Her and her assistant ran around the entire day working with vendors and doing tasks so that our day would run as smoothly as possibly, which it did! Would recommend to anyone :) -

Couldn't have asked for a better planner!
Holly was an absolute pleasure to work with, and guided us seamlessly through planning the most perfect wedding day. She thought of every last detail throughout the planning process, and kept us on track. She was prompt with all communication, and readily available whenever we needed her. She coordinated with all of our vendors prior to the event and made sure everything was set up perfectly on the day of. Holly made the day go off without a single hitch, putting out fires we never even knew had occurred. I would recommend Holly to any bride - she knows her stuff! Her service was invaluable to us. -

Holly made our day stress-free!
Words can't describe how happy we were to have Holly as our wedding planner! We were planning our wedding from a distance (800 miles away) and on a short timeline (less than 10 months) and Holly made the whole experience stress-free. She was great at recommending vendors to us, contacting them to find out availability and pricing, and helping us make final decisions. She was extremely responsive via email, went to in-person meetings we couldn't attend and made plenty of time for phone calls both with us and with vendors. She has great expertise and was such a help in trying to make decisions - she was always flexible, but willing to put in her two cents. The week before the wedding was a breeze thanks to Holly - she managed all of our logistics and took so much off our plate. And on the day of the wedding, she made the whole thing run so smoothly - we did not stress about anything, and the ceremony and reception were exactly as we wanted it. Our day was a dream, and the entire wedding planning experience was so much easier than we ever would have thought, thanks to her. We can't recommend her highly enough! -

Phenomenal!
Holly was such a great wedding planner. We had multiple meetings before the wedding discussing things that I wouldn’t have even thought of. I always sent her emails of random thoughts or ideas I had for the wedding, and she was always honest and extremely responsive. The day of the wedding is where I really have no idea what I would have done without her. She saved everyone so much stress and everything went so smoothly. I would highly recommend Holly! -

Holly was absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough that our wedding would not have been what it was without her. We hired Holly as a day-of planner but she went above and beyond! Our wedding was somewhat of a 'destination' for us. We were married in State College but currently live in New York. Holly gave us recommendations for most of our other vendors as (who all turned out to be just as great as she is). Holly was extremely responsive and really made us feel at ease with the entire process. Leading up to our big day, Holly was in contact with all of our vendors and she made certain that everything we had hoped to happen actually happened. On the day of our wedding, she was somehow everywhere at once! We would absolutely recommend Holly to anyone looking to have an amazing, stress-free day! Holly took care of everything - everything!! I basically had a room in our hotel room full of random things for the cocktail hour and man did she deliver on making everything look put together and purposeful. We can't say enough wonderful things about Holly! If we could give more than 5 stars we would. -

Holly and her team were incredible. They went above and beyond for 12 months up to and including the wedding day. We were on the fence about hiring a wedding planner to begin with but at several moments throughout the process we realized we could not have pulled off this event without Holly and her team. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They were wonderful and coordinated flawlessly with the caterers, makeup, rental groups, pie makers, dj's, photographer, bar tenders, and all of the other groups that get involved in weddings. Trust me, the process gets complicated and it is worth it to have Holly on your team! -

I cannot thank Holly enough for making our dream wedding become a reality. My husband and I live in VA but wanted to get married closer to our families in PA, so we knew we'd need a coordinator to help us stay organized. Holly went above and beyond from the moment we hired her. She kept us on track with our planning checklist, was available to answer any questions we had throughout the year, and was flexible in meeting with us since we were traveling from out of state. Holly is professional and really took the time to get to know us and understand our vision so that she could make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. As the date got closer, she attended vendor meetings with us, helped us create a detailed timeline for the weekend, and communicated with all the vendors to confirm arrival times and final details. She was there to help finalize set up the morning of our wedding and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. She made sure everything ran smoothly once the event started - from the processional in the ceremony, to moving guests to the cocktail hour and the reception, to communicating with the DJ to start the next thing on our timeline (cake cutting, dancing, etc.). She even stacked the ceremony chairs, picked up the rose petals that the flower girl threw, and cleaned up the cocktail hour and reception space enough that we had an easy job the next day!
There is SO much to do to plan a wedding, and I can't imagine trying to pull it off without Holly. Most brides are stressed leading up to their wedding day, but I was able to relax knowing that we were in good hands. Our wedding was truly perfect, and we owe a lot of thanks to Holly for making it unforgettable.-

Holly and Kacy were awesome! They helped us plan a wedding in DuBois from the other side of the country (New Mexico and Colorado). They gave us great recommendations on other vendors to use, and they helped us out with so many of the little details on the wedding day. Highly recommend!-

Holly made my dream wedding a reality down to every last detail! I planned my Central PA wedding from Austin TX, & I can truly say that my mother & I would have been absolutely LOST without Holly! She spent 14 months working with us to understand & execute our wedding vision. I would throw out an idea that I had one day and she would come back with personalized options for me to pick from the next. The knowledge/experience that she has in regards to wedding details & planning was exceptional. There are so many things with planning a wedding that you just never think of & she knew exactly what we needed to be doing/when. She's an invaluable resource & an expert in all things wedding in the area. She know just about every vendor, venue, & rental option in the around. The relationships that she had already built with these individuals made piecing our wedding together so much less stressful than it would have been searching on our own. She had planner discounts coordinated & her own stock of inventory that we were able to use! She understands how to coordinate every piece of your big day in a way that we could not have done ourselves. She knows exactly what to look for in vendor contracts, how much to order of what/when to order, & was so helpful when it came to keeping track of all the dates/deadlines/payments that you naturally acquire with wedding planning. She went above & beyond & truly was my "boots on the ground" when it came to many vendor meetings, calls, & coordinating. Over the course of our planning time there were MANY phone calls/Facetime/emails to ensure that everything would come together perfectly. She was an absolute saint the day before/day of my wedding and kept me sane! Our big day simply would not have happened without her help! I am forever grateful for all of the hard work that she put in, it made our day flawless! Hiring a planner was a good decision but hiring H&K as our wedding planner was THE BEST decision, it was worth every penny & more! -

Holly was amazing! We couldn't have pulled off our wedding day without her. From the beginning, Holly's professionalism was something I noticed right away. She asked us to fill out a survey so she could get to know me and my partner as a couple and understand the type of wedding experience we wanted to have.
Holly was there to answer many questions that came up — from thinking through what rentals we needed to the logistics of the day of timeline. She was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout it all. She even helped us think through our ceremony (we wrote it ourselves) by forwarding some examples and letting us know what phrases needed to be included to make it official.
On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Holly really let us sit back and enjoy the day. Everything that needed to be done got done. I don't know how, but it did! It seemed like magic to us, but really it was lots of hard work from Holly and her assistant. From arranging the place settings, to setting up the dessert table, along with making sure everyone received their corsages and cueing the musicians while coordinating with our caterers and corralling our roving family for dinner service and at the end of the night, doing the final walk through with our venue director — these were a mere handful of things Holly and her assistant did for us on our wedding day.
If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator — just do it. You will not regret it. If you're having a wedding in central PA, I highly recommend Holly and her staff. They are truly THE BEST. -

Holly was a dream, and I can't imagine having a better, kinder, more competent person helping us plan our wedding. In the months of planning leading up to the wedding, she helped educate us and offered advice whenever we needed it, while also listening to us and truly getting to know our personal needs and style. She helped us with so many things, from broad outlining to helping us find vendors. My partner and I live in NY and were planning our Central PA wedding remotely, and Holly made this as easy as possible with Google Docs, video chats, and clear communication on all fronts.
The day of the wedding, Holly couldn't have been more calm, having every detail under control while gently deflecting our best attempts to do some of the work ourselves. Somehow, there wasn't one moment on our wedding day when my partner or I felt any planning stress, as Holly ran everything smoothly and almost invisibly. She was also wonderfully kind and thoughtful with our (sometimes insistent) family.

I totally recommend hiring Holly for your wedding day. It is so much better knowing someone will be there to coordinate your big day. It gives you the option to focus only on you and your future spouse.
Holly was a tremendous help from beginning to end. She was always available to answer our questions and went above and beyond with everything that she did.

My wedding day simply would not have been possible without H&K. I worked mainly with Holly, but Kacy also assisted with some vendor contact and TONS of coordination day-of. I planned a wedding out-of-state and was concerned that I would not know where to start looking for vendors, but Holly knew exactly which way to point me. She took the time to get to know me as a bride, and what my style and tastes were for our big day. Every list of possible vendors she sent me was filled with high quality professional who fit it well with the vibe of our wedding. She responded to emails and texts very quickly, and every minor snag that sent me reeling had an easy fix- Holly was always able to calm my nerves and find the solution quickly. Our wedding day was perfect and went by so smoothly. We were able to have fun and enjoy every moment with Holly and Kacy working tirelessly in the background to keep everything flowing. I would have been utterly lost without them and would high encourage any bride getting married in the Central PA area to seek out their expertise. My best advice is to book these ladies! Holly is amazing. We thought we would just have a laid back wedding but there are so many things to consider and think of. Holly kept us on track with timelines (despite our quick 6 month window). She really helped us create the wedding we were hoping for and it was truly a wonderful day! If you don't think you need help in prior planning, Kacy and Holly's work the day prior and day of the wedding was 100% necessary! These ladies are absolutely wonderful! -

I knew when I got married that I wanted a wedding planner. I always thought it would be out of my reach and it was something only celebrities used and it wasn't even a possiblity. I was wrong, it was so affordable and in my opinion..a necessity. Holly and Kacy were indispensable. I can't make a decison ever, and I often have freak out moments. I had to text them numerous times and ask them to tell me, "It will be ok." They kept me on track by sending me updates for the month and a to-do list. I would have waited until the last minute without them. They recommended amazing vendors based on their experiences. I can tell you that I had total peace about my wedding and how it was going to turn out. Those wedding horror stories that some brides tell of were not even a concern to me. The day of the wedding I just had to focus on getting myself ready and marrying the man of my dreams. Holly and Kacey had the ceremony all set up and ready to go like it was magic. During the wedding, they kept it all running smoothly. I could enjoy the evening with my new husband and our families, with no stress. It was those last minute things they did that made all the difference. From the person who freaks out all the time, my wedding day was beautiful. It was relaxed and full of love and joy. We have had so many people tell us that our wedding was a blast and they didn't want to see it end. They also told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. I credit them 100 percent with helping me turn my wedding day dreams into a real life dream of a day! -

In short, Holly and Kacy are AMAZING! I was very skeptical about hiring wedding coordinators, but I am SO glad I did. From my first conversation with Holly and Kacy, I knew I wanted to work with them. They really wanted to know about my story, and in doing so, made my husband and I feel so comfortable placing our special day in their hands. I hired Kacy and Holly under their sweet pea package for day/month of coordination. Yet, throughout the whole planning process they checked in with me and answered my many questions. As the day grew closer, I became more and more anxious, but after every conversation I had with Holly and Kacy, I felt so much more at ease. Their calm, kind, and organized personalities made the whole experience fun.
The week of my wedding it was forecasted to rain, so I had to change a lot of things around. Holly and Kacy were there to support me in my decisions and even make some for me when I got overwhelmed. The day before my wedding I had a mini breakdown, but they calmed my nerves and assured me everything would be amazing...and it was. I did not have to worry about ANYTHING on my wedding day. My wedding was at General Potter Farm with lots of different vendors, but Holly and Kacy had everyone working like a well oiled machine around the timeline they created. I definitely recommend hiring Holly and Kacy for your special day. They are the best! -

It’s been a week since my wedding and I still can’t believe how perfectly the entire day went! I know that it could have never been achieved without H&K Weddings and Events. I hired Holly and Kacy one year and 4 months ago and bought their Orchid (full service planning) package. This package is amazing value and definitely money worth spending! Holly and Kacy were as dedicated on day one as they were on wedding day. They are professionals who have great vendor connections, a lot of experience, and are always a pleasure to work with. They were prompt to answer emails and texts and were always prepared whether we were meeting face-to-face or having a Skype call. They were so attentive that it made me feel like I was their only bride. This level of attention and care gave me full confidence in Holly and Kacy’s abilities as wedding planners.
As a student living in Pittsburgh and planning a wedding in State College, PA, there were several times when I was just too busy to meet every deadline. During those times, Holly and Kacy were more than willing to step in. They assembled and mailed each of our wedding invitations, as well as managed the RSVPs. Holly went out of her way to find escort cards that matched my theme in order to save me time and ordered them within the week after I had chosen a design. They filled our hotel gift bags and even created a welcome letter for our guests. They were with us at every vendor meeting and knew the answers to all questions (many of which I didn’t know the answer to). Holly and Kacy even created a comprehensive timeline that made it so easy for our vendors, families, and wedding party to follow.
A number of our guests were surprised that my husband and I were so calm on our wedding day. Holly and Kacy not only planned every detail with us for over a year, but also they truly allowed us to peacefully enjoy our wedding day. We can’t imagine planning a wedding without them and highly recommend them to every engaged couple! -

Holly and Kacy from H & K Events were beyond wonderful! They were the most professional ones to work with during our wedding and we never regretted hiring them for our special day. From day one, they understood our vision that we wanted for our wedding and gave us great advice the whole way through. I liked that they had several wedding packages that you could choose from to make it suite your needs and I feel like that really sets them apart from the rest. Everyone is different and they are able to accommodate anyone by offering this to their clients. You really feel special working with them. We are truly happy that we were able to work with these lovely ladies and make memories together that we will always think about.

We found Holly and Kacy from a friend of ours who had recently gotten married in State College, PA. We wanted to make sure our guests could all enjoy the wedding day and not have to work or coordinate, and essentially it was going to be a destination wedding (even we were traveling for it) and we needed someone familiar with vendors in the area to give us insight. We live far away from all family, so basically we were planning this wedding ourselves. We bought the smallest package (Sweet Pea) so we got all the vendors and dealt with all of them mostly ourselves up until a month before. Holly and Kacy gave great advice along the way and kept us thinking about things we hadn't considered, like timing and a million other things! A month before, we met and hashed out tons of details we hadn't considered even after 1 year and 7 months of planning! A few days before, it was certain to rain on the day of the wedding (the ceremony was supposed to be outside) and I wasn't sure what to do; Holly gave me a few options and I chose an alternative, and then she called up the vendors to inform them of the change. The day of the rehearsal Kacy helped us set up and Holly helped organize the rehearsal. The day of the wedding while both our guests and we were getting pretty and having fun, Holly and Kacy were at the venue taking care of vendors and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The ceremony and reception were both perfect and spectacular; we heard only positive things, absolutely zero complaints and things ran smoothly from one to the next, even with a quick ceremony/cocktail hour scene change in the same space. Food and buses were coordinated wonderfully. My best friend/matron of honor is an event coordinator for a theater in the Chicago area and SHE said SHE wanted to write a 10 star review, she was so impressed. And my mother said they were so professional and talked so kindly with her, she thought they were so helpful and sweet. Thank you for a perfect day! -

Hiring H&K Events as our wedding planners was the best decision we could have made! Our planning and the wedding day itself would not have run as smoothly as it did without them. Holly and Kacy were organized, reliable, and fun to work with. We signed on with them over a year before our June 2015 wedding, and they were on it from day one. They made me feel like I was their only bride (even though I knew that wasn't the case! :)).
Leading up to the wedding, Holly and Kacy were easy to get in touch with at all times. I loved that they responded to my emails or texts within 24 hours (usually much sooner than that!). Holly and I would have phone check-ins when needed and she would send monthly checklists to make sure that I was on track with my planning. They were always available to help me find a vendor or to review a possible vendor I had found. They kept track of all of my vendor contracts, making sure that I knew what was said in the fine print and that I didn't miss any payments. Planning the wedding with H&K by my side made me extremely relaxed and comfortable.
I thought that it couldn't get any better, but then the wedding day arrived. Holly and Kacy were amazing on the day-of. They kept everything running smoothly, made sure that everyone was where they should be at the right time, and took care of all of the details. As at many weddings, there were unplanned mixups that occurred that were out of our control, and Holly and Kacy made sure to handle them and remove as much stress as possible from me. I felt like I could release complete control to Holly and Kacy which allowed me to truly enjoy the wedding night.
One final note was that H&K Events is extremely affordable. For all of the services that they provided in the year leading up to my wedding, they could have charged much more, but did not. Holly and Kacy are kind, helpful, calm, supportive, and fun. You should 100% hire them for your wedding! -

If I didn't have Holly & Kacy, as my coordinators I would have been a wreck! They are so compassionate, trustworthy, easy-going, informative, reassuring and most importantly HELPFUL! I had my wedding in Lancaster, PA and they are from State College, PA and not once have I ever heard them complain in regards to travel. They were always there for me when I had a question about the smallest thing and answered me promptly. They really came through near my wedding day and I asked them to find things for me that I just either didn't have time to do or couldn't find and they got it for me! I forgot plastic cups from mimosas on the wedding day and they brought them without a problem! They are very hardworking, Holly and Kacy were on the ball all day from making sure we were okay to setting up the reception area before the ceremony all the way past the reception all I saw was Holly or Kacy whizzing pass doing something and they were on top of any glitch or any problems that day and I didn't have to worry about a THING! They are overall great people, and I am am eternally grateful for helping me make my day so special cause I am being honest, I could not have done it without them. -

Holly and Kacy are wedding planning rockstars! My husband and I were planning our State College, PA wedding while living in Colorado. Holly was our point of contact for during most of the early planning stages. She was always timely with responding to emails, providing detailed answers to our questions or, in cases where we needed clarification from other vendors with whom we were working, she took the lead and reached out those vendors regarding things like space measurements, decorating rules, etc. Holly was also very accommodating when we requested a phone conversation -- which usually took place later in the evenings for her due to the time differences. We happened to be in town one day over the summer, and she arranged her schedule so we could meet face-to-face which put us as ease. I'd certainly recommend them if you are planning from out-of-state.
Holly and Kacy helped out with everything during our wedding weekend from setting up chairs, to lighting candles for us pre-ceremony (better than burdening a family member), filling out some last minute seating cards (oops!) and tearing-down all the chairs after the ceremony (wow!). Our reception was so fun that we ran out of drinking glasses (even after planning for extra); they ran out to the store to pick up cups so that the festivities could continue. Finally, and maybe most importantly, Holly and Kacy will put you at ease while planning your wedding-- they are extremely knowledgeable in the field, have good relationships with local vendors, have a can-do attitude and will work to hep your wedding day vision come to life. Oh, and they are easy going, amazingly friendly folks on top of all that ;) We would 100% recommend H&K Weddings and Events to anyone planning a wedding central PA! -

My husband and I hired Holly and Kacy to help with planning and managing our wedding. From the very beginning they were so helpful and on target with all of our questions. Our wedding was a very DIY wedding and they truly went above and beyond in terms of planning, managing, adding in special touches to our decor, and also in terms of set up and clean up of our venue. I honestly do not know if I can put into words how helpful Holly from H&K Weddings and Events was to me during the months before my wedding and the day of my wedding. She went above and beyond to ensure all my dreams came true. She would respond to my emails, phone calls and text messages promptly. From the moment we signed on with Holly and Kacy, we realized that they were without a doubt the single best investment we could have made to make our wedding perfect. And it was perfect. There were many details that we would not have even known we were missing if it weren't for these ladies and their experience bringing them to our attention. In the year leading up to wedding, at regular intervals, Holly kept a running text message stream and Facebook chat available to us so we could keep her updated with our progress. She held a few regular Skype calls as we got close to keep us on task. They have checklists, which, as a guy who works for the military knows, is always a good thing. On the day of, they handled the vendor communications and the few minor problems that cropped up with skill and decisiveness. These ladies are detail-oriented, amiable, available, tactful, responsive, and hard-working. Their husbands even helped out (thanks to Steve and Rick). We can't say enough good things about H&K Weddings and Events. Well worth every penny. -

Holly & Kacy are two of the most understanding, trustworthy, perceptive, empathic, well-organized, informative, poised, diplomatic, helpful, kind, funny, and thoughtful people - so you can imagine that as wedding planners, they are really something special! We were so fortunate to have had their help planning our wedding. We felt so cared for leading up to and on our actual wedding day. These two ladies are the best in the industry! We wanted our wedding to be very personal, so we wanted to plan it ourselves, but we needed someone to bounce ideas off of and organize the bridal party (and guests) the day of. After meeting Kacy and Holly we were instantly settled and knew that we would be in great hands. This pair helped before during and after the wedding. Any question we had they answered. They respond to every email in amazing time, helped us every step of the way and were so respectful of what we wanted our wedding to look like. From the start of Wedding Planning, I knew the most important thing was to enjoy your Wedding day with your New Husband, family and friends. I did not want to be busy setting up and coordinating on our Wedding day so I wanted a wedding planner. My husband and I are good party planners since we do it a great deal but knew we needed help towards the end and for the entire Wedding weekend. We got a recommendation about Holly and Kacy, and when I spoke with them I knew they were the ones for us. We did the Sweet Pea (Month/day of) package and it was perfect. Holly and Kacy helped us through the year of planning when I emailed them about how our planning was going, they helped answer questions and give us recommendations. Our Wedding was on my Husband’s family camp land so there was a lot of rentals and DIY needed. Holly and Kacy came to visit the Wedding site about 6 months before and then again 1 month before. They noted everything I said/wanted and made sure it happened. H&K brought our flowers, let us borrow a few items, and helped with set up on Friday before the Wedding. Then on our Wedding day, they handled all the last minute set up and vendor coordination. I could relax and get ready with my mom and bridesmaids and when I arrived everything was perfect!
Do not be stressed on your Wedding day, book Holly and Kacy! -

Holly and Kacy are amazingly helpful and worth every penny! My reception venue was about 25-30 minutes from the church where we were getting married, so we were not able to be there at all on the day of the wedding to be sure everything was going as it should. I was so much more relaxed knowing that Holly and Kacy were taking care of things! They truly went above and beyond our expectations! Words can't describe how much we appreciated them! Not only were they beyond amazing on the day of the wedding, but they met with us prior to and helped us think of things we hadn't. We did all of our decorating the day before and they even came to help us with that! They stayed as long and we needed and came to rehearsal as well. We didn't even know they were there on the wedding day, but they were "handling" everything! Any little problem that came about, they just took care of it. They are very good at what they do and our wedding day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without their help. They were definitely one of our best investments for the day!! -

Holly and Kacy were earn and attentive from the start. They listened to all our ideas (even my fiance's weird ones) and totally got our sense of humor. They were super responsive via email and text, wrote down literally EVERYTHING I said (and listened!), and were cool with everything, including last-minute changes.
When we were setting up for the reception, I notices the caterer decorating something in a way I didn't love. As soon as I was able to get that opinion out of my moth, Kacy marched right over and made it happen. These ladies are bosses who get things done!
My venue was very DIY, leading to a lot of nervousness on my part, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about with Holly and Kacy on my side. They finished setup after I left early for rehearsal dinner prep, then they came early Saturday to do a billion other things (including errands I asked for, which they did with a smile) plus direct the florist on where to put everything and light a thousand candles. By the time I got there, I was in tears at how lovely the place looked, inside and out, and when I saw the ceremony location I was amazed and overwhelmed. Everything looked exactly the way I imagined it! Holly and Kacy really went above and beyond to make my dream wedding a reality, and I can't recommend them enough. If you are planning a wedding in central PA, you'll want them in your corner. They are amazing! -

When we were looking for a wedding planner we thought we were just in need to have someone coordinate the vendors the logistics and provide help to our gests since it was a destination wedding. When we hired H & K we got so much more! Not only did they do what we needed them to, but they also anticipated problems and issues that came up the day of the wedding due to some snow. They kept us calm and we knew they had everything under control. We hired them for the day of coordination but got so much more. they helped with contingency plans, coordinated our candy buffet, provided recommendations for some vendors/ and services we were struggling with plus some tips on things we didn't think of. I would recommend Holly and Kacey to anyone that asked. I want to plan another big party just to have the opportunity to work with them again and explore more ideas! -

Both Holly & Kacy were extremely helpful, positive, dependable, and talented wedding planners. Since being an out of state bride, our phone and email conversations were especially helpful with keeping me on track. Both went above and beyond to assist me with general wedding decisions and also problems that arose during the way. I really felt supported in my wedding planning and confident that my wedding day would turn out the way I envisioned it with Holly & Kacy's help (which it did!). I am truly lucky to have had Holly & Kacy as my wedding planners. I really feel my wedding would not have been as organized, smooth, and complete if they were not my wedding planners. Holly & Kacy also went above and beyond during the week of my wedding. Both worked hard to prepare, decorate, and place the finishing touches on the venue during the week and day of my wedding. The best decision I ever made was marrying my husband. The second best decision was hiring H&K Weddings to help.
We planned the wedding ourselves and hired H&K for their day of event services. I hesitate to use that term because they were really helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, but most of our time spent with them was the day prior to our wedding, and the day of.
We had a backyard wedding with a lot of DIY elements, and we hired H&K mainly because we wanted to be able to enjoy our wedding day. The day before the wedding, Holly and Kacy helped us set up the ceremony space, arranged the reception seating, put together centerpieces, and ran the rehearsal. I went from being really overwhelmed to (fairly) calm just knowing that they were there to help and take tasks off my plate.
The day of the wedding, I got ready. I can't stress this enough...ALL I did before the ceremony was get myself ready. They took care of EVERYTHING else. They put out all of our DIY decorations (and trust me, we had a lot), they dealt with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly and on time...did linens, silverware, table numbers, photo booth, dessert table, I could go on an on. They took all of our wants and ideas and actually made them happen.
Holly and Kacy themselves were so nice to work with. They're just genuinely nice people who love what they do and want to make sure you have the best wedding day possible. I really can't say enough good things about them.
If you're unsure about whether you actually need a wedding planner or not, I would recommend hiring one, and you can't go wrong hiring H&K Weddings. The services they provided were invaluable. You spend months and months planning and prepping for one day, and it all goes by so fast. Thanks to Holly and Kacy I was able to enjoy my wedding day to the fullest. I don't think I can give a better review than that. -

I have shared with many friends and family that this was the best money we spent on the wedding (and we were shocked at how affordable it was!). Our wedding was held at a venue that is basically DIY. I never thought we could afford to hire wedding coordinators, but was a little nervous, mostly about day-of coordination of so many different vendors. After my first meeting with Holly, i felt an instant wave of relief.. i knew that no matter what may come up throughout the year of planning, that they would help me through it and with a smile on their faces. Holly and Kacy were wonderful to work with in every way. My entire year of planning, leading up to and including my wedding day were as stress and worry free as possible, and I accredit that to these ladies. I was kept on task with monthly checklists, so even in those in between months, I didn't "take a break" and get behind on things. With so many small details the closer I got to the big day, it was SO reassuring to know that nothing would be forgotten because of them. Their attention to detail and warm, welcoming personalities made me feel very comfortable and confident from the start. The communication and response time was impeccable...which is impressive when some days you have several emails and text messages going back and forth, at all hours. Having them attend vendor meetings was a bigger help than I imagined...they knew all the right questions to ask, that i would have never thought of. Their communication with all of our vendors throughout the year and wedding weekend was very professional and a tremendous help to us. I could continue writing pages about how amazing these ladies were, always going WAY above and beyond for us... I could not be more thankful for finding HK and for having them with us for the past year! -

Holly and Kacy are great! Their wealth of knowledge about the wedding industry and quick response times made them a great resource throughout my wedding planning process. They were invaluable during the day before and the day of the wedding with all of their help setting up, organizing, and directing helpers and vendors to make our day go off without a hitch! I can't imagine what it would've been like trying to set up all of the tables, the tent area, and the cocktail area without them. -

H&K Weddings and Events are amazing! Holly and Kacy were wonderful to work with, full of ideas, flexible, organized, and very, very helpful. They go above and beyond during the planning process. Additionally, every other vendor we used told me that they normally dread working with wedding planners, but Holly and Kacy were so easy to work with they killed that stereotype right away! This is very important considering all of the communication that goes on between the different vendors. I couldn't have been more pleased with the planning process and outcome. -

I cannot say enough good about H & K Weddings and Events!! We held our wedding in State College, PA and hired Holly for organizational assistance the day of the wedding. Over the course of our one-year engagement, we met and corresponded with Holly on a regular basis, and she went above and beyond the call of duty to help us stay organized and on top of our deadlines. We are graduate students and have hectic schedules, so H & K was a godsend. They offer very reasonably priced additional services, as well. For example, they prepared and mailed out our invitations and kept track of responses for us! By choosing H & K, you get great value, great services, and great people who make planning your wedding a happy, manageable experience no matter how busy you are. We had a wonderful, stress-free wedding day, and we thank H & K for that! -

Hiring H&K Weddings and Events was hands down the easiest wedding decision we had to make. From the initial phone conversation, I knew we had to go with them. Holly spent over an hour discussing every detail of our wedding, what we liked, giving us suggestions and ideas and helping me plan- and that was before we hired her! Both Holly and Kacy went above and beyond with our wedding and were so enthusiastic about every idea we had. We hired them for their day of coordination package, but they were so much more. They also created our candy bar for us which was such a huge relief (they have all their own jars) and it looked amazing! I got so many compliments on all the details of our wedding (and there were a million little things I had wanted), and without H&K it wouldn’t have been possible! They did such an awesome job, I want to plan another event, just so we can work with them again! -

These girls helped create our dream wedding. From going to best event to set up mock tables for wedding, helping with my shower, helping me make my invitations, to spending over 24 hours in two days to help make this the most memorable of our lives, They have exceeded our expectations and gone above and beyond what we ever could have imagined. We will miss these two dearly.

Holly & Kasy did my sisters 50th Birthday party, these girls know what they are doing, it was a good time had by all. The food was good, the photo booth was a blast & the decorations had so many personal touches. it was a day of fun & laughter , my personal favorite was the funny yet heart warming 50 years of memories. I recommend these girls for any occasion. -

We could not have pulled off everything without the help of Holly and Kacy. They helped us with everything: reviewing our contracts, contacting our vendors, organizing our timeline, planning and rehearsing our ceremony, decorating our reception hall, moving our chairs, and even running the music during our ceremony. They worked so hard the day before and the day of the wedding making sure everything was perfect! We were married at the General Potter Farm by a friend, so it was reassuring to have Holly and Kacy there to take the pressure off, since we did have a lot of "do-it-yourself" aspects to the event. The even helped us with developing our ceremony script. Hiring H&K Events definitely allowed us to enjoy our wedding day, and it was certainly money well spent. -

I had all these ideas about my "perfect" wedding but had no idea where to start. After my free consultation with Holly & Kacy, I felt so much better. They are very helpful. There was no obligation at that point to hire them but I knew that I wanted to. As someone stated earlier, it was definitely money well spent. They are two really wonderful people and I am happy to know them. -

WOW. I wish we could have given Holly and Kacy 10 stars for each category. Holly and Kacy made our wedding day stress free. They were like coordinating ninjas! From our first conversation with them, they put us at ease with their knowledge and enthusiasm for their work. They listened to our ideas, and helped us create our vision for our day. On our actual wedding day, they were at the venue early, and they made everything run smoothly. Thanks to them, we truly had the wedding of our dreams. Thank you, Holly and Kacy! -
