We had a wonderful experience working with Christina and her team before and during our wedding celebration. She is incredibly professional and easy to communicate with. The engagement photos and bridal portraits were convenient and turned out great.
On the day of the wedding, we especially appreciated how organized and time sensitive the team was. They were on top of the schedule and were great at directing our entire large family and wedding party to efficiently get all of the photos we needed done before sunset. We never would have gotten through it without their direction.
They were able to capture the most intimate moments and the grand party all at the same time. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and commitment to eternalizing our special day! -

We had a great experience with Christina. We chose her for her ability to give us the look we wanted! We had a great time during our engagement photos. She even rescheduled them, because the day we chose was over 100° and she knew the pictures wouldn't look as good as they could. That confirmed we picked the right photographer. Those pictures were beautifully colorful just like we wanted. She had fun with us, was creative and made the whole experience comfortable.
Our wedding photos were lovely. We had more of big cocktail party then a traditional wedding. She captured all the guests having a great time, tons of action shots which we love and asked for. She made my getting ready photos beautiful even though we were basically in a closet with Amazon boxes everywhere. I loved the black and white versions she created. We can't wait to cover our walls with these photos. She sent sneak peaks the week after the wedding and the final library of photos 12 weeks later.
She was easy going but took charge when she needed to, got the shots we wanted and produced a beautiful variety of photos. -

We did not mind them standing around or being in the way taking pictures (obviously), but my wife and I were so amazed at how it truly did not feel like they were even there! My son and daughter-in-law hired HG Photo & Film to shoot their intimate wedding ceremony. We were so happy that they were available during the holiday season, and were super pleased with the results. Christina cares soooo much about the couple and family, and made everyone feel comfortable. She had great advice for structured and spontaneous posing, and set up some perfect shots of the venue, couple, and family. She was not intrusive so we barely knew she was there and she made sure that the time she was booked for was well utilized. As a prior wedding planner, I had worked with Christina on multiple occasions and knew that she would take good care of my son and his bride. I am so happy that they listened to me and hired her!! I would highly recommend her to ANY couple who wants to work with a photographer that is skilled, inclusive, conscientious, ethical, and reasonably priced. -

Amazing Wedding Photography!
Christina photographed our wedding on April 11, 2021 at Verona Villa after we had to postpone our wedding due to covid from April 26, 2020. Christina was so gracious and understanding about the pandemic and accommodated our new date easily. Throughout the planning process, communication was smooth and prompt.
The wedding photography packages are very reasonably priced and Christina threw in bridals into our package for only $100! Amazing deal for over 100 outstanding pictures. The bridal session was so much fun and you can tell that Christina loves what she does.
During wedding day, Christina and her colleague were so easy to work with. They knew exactly what moments to capture and gave great suggestions for poses. She was really knowledgeable of our venue, Verona Villa, so she knew the best locations for our photos. Our photos came out fantastic and we highly recommend you book Christina for your wedding! -

Perfection
Christina donated her services when I married my late husband Keith:
We were on a tight timeline because he was dying of liver cancer.
Christina went above and beyond to make sure I had an incredible video to look at forever because I knew I wouldn’t have Keith for very much longer.
Then 2 years later when I got a second chance at love she captured that as well and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with with my very emotional story.
She also took my engagement photos that turned out flawless! Christina has such a bubbly personality and is very professional l.

Christina was so much fun to work with. A total boss when needed, and let my type A personality take over when needed. She was so easy to work with, start to finish. She was a total professional and during the ceremony/reception I didn’t even realize she was there yet she managed to capture EVERY moment with an artistic eye. 10/10 recommend. She’s not only a great photographer, but she is also personable and gave great artistic direction. My husband works in TV news and can be hyper critical of photographers/videographers and was blown away by the quality of photos she created. I look forward to working with her again in the future! -

Capturing the moments that matter most
Christina exceeded my expectations on so many levels! She did such an amazing job at making the experience feel natural while capturing the "kodak" moments full of genuine emotions. I seriously can't stop looking at them and am struggling to finish our shutterfly book because I can't pick just a few...dozen... Our wedding was only a 15 min ceremony, so I was very pleasantly surprised at having so many great shots in what felt like a few seconds. And that doesn't even account for all the wonderful shots before and after! Not only does Christina have a natural eye, she also knows how to stay focused amidst all the excitement and with the utmost professionalism. I couldn't be happier -

Christtiiinnnaaa!! Was my second vendor I decided to book, and wanted someone with a more vibrant portfolio! That is when I came across H|G PHOTO AND FILM. Christina helped get all my information and even helped me decide on doing more photos earlier since daylight savings, cause ya girl completely forgot about that. Leading up to the day of she created her photo timeline and I made sure to add it into mine. The beginning was pretty hectic as my groom and his party were all running slightly behind, but as soon as I showed up they were able to get some photos out the way like our detailed photos and everything else fell into perfect place. Christina and Chase (2nd shooter) were amazing and our photos came out more than amazing then I imagined even with it being super windy on the day of from our sneak peeks everything turned out amazing and received our full gallery in a timely manner. They were able to capture some beautiful moments. I would definitely recommend her over again as well if you are looking for someone with the same photo style!!!! Quality in photos, professionalism, punctual, easy going, all of the above when you hire them as your photographer for any special occasion -

Christina is very professional with a next-door neighbor attitude. She was very responsive when we setup for our engagement photoshoot. She was so energetic and personable, knew how to direct our poses and has a keen eye for lighting and landscape.
We loved her so much that we signed up to do our bridal photoshoot with her. Due to unforseen conditions, we had to reschedule twice. Christina was very understanding to our situation and very kind. We just received our photos today and we are over the moon. She captured the love we have for one another, my sassiness and my husband's kindness in our photos.

Christina and her videographer did such an Incredible job ! She was very attentive and captured so many breath taking moments. We booked her for 6 hrs., and an engagement shoot plus a cinematic short film package. She was very friendly and accommodated us the best she could during this pandemic. She is a super awesome photographer! She had just given birth to her daughter and just a few months later was back on her A game to bring our wedding to life. Getting married during a pandemic was so challenging but we had such a great experience and the quality of our pictures and cinematic short film were phenomenal. The Photos were BOMB!
Christina did such an awesome job for our wedding day! She got all the shots that were most important to us even with only 2 hours before the ceremony began! She got it all done and you could see her passion. I recommend using her second photographer as well if you can, we were able to get so many shots from separate angles during the ceremony, it was perfect! 10/10 recommend HG photo and film for your big day! -

Christina and her team are wonderful! The pictures are beautiful and completely captured our special day. It poured on my wedding day, not just a tiny little storm, a big one. Christina and her team didn't blink an eye, they shot in the rain, in the mud, in puddles of water and they got some breathtaking photos. I think any bride would be a nervous wreck if that storm had happened during their wedding, but Christina and her team made everything calm and feel at ease. Christina is friendly, prompt, and goes above and beyond what a photographer would do, she even helped me and my guests learn a line dance at our reception! The best decision we made during our wedding planning process was selecting Christina and Chase to do our photography and videography on our wedding day! I’m very weird when it comes to giving a big down deposit via Zelle or check but Christina and Chase are 100% trustworthy and we’re so patient with us from start to finish! Christina and her team were AMAZING! I'll put it this way - I haven't even finished looking through my pictures yet and couldn't wait to write her review! We had quite a few hiccups during our planning process and on the actual day of the wedding but HG was THE ONLY vendor I had absolutely no worries about. We had them do our engagements, bridals, as well as photo and video on the day of our wedding. You CANNOT beat the value and quality of work they do! Christina communicated everything well so we always knew what to expect and she honestly far exceeding our expectations time and time again! I am extremely disappointed with my wedding photography experience and would not recommend this photographer to any bride or groom expecting professional, standard wedding photos.
From the beginning, I clearly communicated what I wanted — including basic, traditional portrait photos of my husband and me as a couple. These were never taken. There are no standard bride-and-groom portraits that you would expect from a wedding day, which is unacceptable.
When I questioned why these portraits and other requested shots were missing, I referenced our text messages, where I had specifically outlined the photos I wanted and provided guidance and examples. Despite this, those requests were not followed or delivered.
The overall quality of the photos was very poor. The editing was not professional — many images were over-whitened, washed out, and lacking detail, making them look nothing like the work advertised on her website or social media. The final gallery we received was nowhere near the quality or style she presents publicly.
Important moments and locations were also poorly captured. My bridal room, where meaningful getting-ready photos should have been taken, was not documented properly at all. Several specific poses, shots, and reference images I provided were completely missed. Details of my veil where lost because the pictures were over-whited.
After significant back-and-forth, the photographer eventually agreed to redo the photos. However, this was not a realistic or fair solution. I had already paid $1,000 for professional hairstyling and $900 for makeup for my wedding day. Flowers, timing, atmosphere, and details from the actual day cannot simply be recreated. You also cannot get your wedding day back.
Additionally, by the time a reshoot was discussed, circumstances had changed, making it even less feasible. A reshoot does not replace authentic wedding moments, emotions, or the once-in-a-lifetime nature of the day itself.
On the same day I received the edited version, I raised concerns and referenced our messages, I received a direct message on Instagram from an anonymous/dummy account stating that they “heard I go around harassing photographers.” This was deeply unsettling. I have never worked with any other photographer, never contacted any other photographer, and have never had any issues with one before. She was the only photographer involved in my wedding, making the timing of this message extremely concerning.
What’s most troubling is the disconnect between the portfolio being advertised and the work delivered, as well as how concerns were handled when raised.
Wedding photos are irreplaceable. Unfortunately, ours were mishandled, poorly executed, and left us deeply disappointed. I strongly encourage future couples to tread with caution and stay away from this photographer.
