    Amazing Reception at Guadalajara Grill

    Working with Tina H at Guadalajara Grill was the best experience. The reception area is very cozy, with a max capacity of 96 people, which was perfect for our needs. The food was amazing (beef & chicken fajita buffet) and the ambiance of this older building was just what we needed for our wedding theme (Mexican Fiesta). Tina was always available for any questions I had leading up to our wedding and met with us the week before to go over all the details. She was so thorough and really cared about our event going to plan. She was a great coordinator also, making sure everything ran smoothly the day of. My husband and I were so happy with how everything turned out and owe a great deal of that to Tina. Would definitely recommend!

    We had a wedding anniversary dinner at Guadalajara Grill, and everything went smoothly. The place was beautiful, and Tina was very helpful in getting everything set up for us. The food was great too.

    We had our wedding reception here and it was a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it!! Beautiful facility and reasonably pricing and excellent customer service!

    Wonderful wedding experience

    We have had several events at the Guadalajara Grill and I knew it would be perfect for my small wedding reception. It's beautiful and classy. The staff is wonderful and attentive. We loved having a private bar upstairs and the stage for the DJ and speeches. We liked how the buffet was set up in the room down the hall so guests weren't crowded getting their plates. We really loved our photos we took on the balcony with the tower in the background. The linens on the table was nice so we could just add flowers and some candles. We had about 70 guests and the space was perfect.

    We had our wedding reception there and they took care of everything we needed. Professional staff and beautiful owners.

    I was pleased beyond my own expectations and forever grateful. Upon meeting Ms.. Hinojosa to view the venue, I explained to that it was very important to me as the mother of the bride who would be flying in from Afghanistan 2 days before the wedding that every detail as we discussed be executed as contracted for. I reiterated that there would not be any room for error because I would be deployed and not available to address any changes or complaints. I must say Ms. Hinojosa ensured that our expectations were not only met but exceeded and every level of detail was executed as though it were her own daughter's wedding!

    This place was perfect! The food and service was excellent. They took care of everything so you can just sit back and enjoy your wedding.

    Tina, Pepe and staff made our destination wedding reception amazing and memorable. They welcomed us and treated us like family. Everything is first class from the venue to the food. Years later we still have people talking about the beautiful venue, atmosphere and food. Tina was very flexible in some last minute changes for us and we couldn't be more thankful. We would highly recommend Guadalajara Grill as a must book venue for anyone looking for authenticity and s memorable wedding party. Cannot say enough! Tina and Pepe are great people, to this day, that still check in on my family to see if we are doing well. Glad to be able to call them friends. That is a quality in businesses you don't find often. Share you big event with them, you will not be sorry.

    We’ve had several of our family events at the Guadalarajara Grill and have been extremely pleased. They are so nice, and the large upstairs event room, is beautiful, fun and has one of the best views of the Tower. Love the old wood floors, and the ceiling are so romantic and the French doors out to the balcony are so charming. We will probably be booking more events there in the future. Tina Hinijosa has always been so helpful in booking the events. The food is always terrific, staff is friendly and you can’t beat the prices for such a centerally located and charming venue.

    As a very special event the amount paid for the value of food and presentation was not up to par. Also we had a total of about 30 to 40 people and the majority of them were teens and kids it was questionable how we ended up paying another $1500 for the bar. The food was to expensive for what was served. Also we felt rushed and we paid good money to have the reception according to our schedule. While the reception hall was beautiful and adequate for the guest attending, the rest fell short of our standards. This restaurant/reception hall will never be on my list in the future for any kind of event.

    Guadalajara Grill's reply:

    We are very sorry and surprised at your review. We consider every event we host as special and important. All services were provided according to our agreement and we regret that you are not happy with the services received.
    Regarding the bar tab, your husband who requested an unrestricted open bar was notified throughout the reception and was kept informed as to the status of the bar tab and asked whether he wished to continue or close it out. The guests ordered many high dollar drinks and premium shots (a total of 141 items during 4 hours); as there was no limit as to what they could order.
    We apologize that you felt rushed but your contracted duration was 4 hours and as our staff is scheduled accordingly the bar is closed 15 minutes before the end of the party to allow guests to finish any cocktails. Several guests were still present an hour after the end of the party while our staff was cleaning up.
