  Gruene River Haven

  Switched to new property and couldn’t have been happier. I didn’t have to stress about decorating a bigger property and they went out of the way to make our wedding special.

  Treated like family. Beautiful and convenient space.

  Lynnae and Jeff treated us like family! It was amazing to be able to house our whole wedding party in one place. We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and wedding reception there - along with a week prior to that for relaxing and completing finishing touches. Price-wise, it was a great value for a whole week. Not to mention the space was beautiful!! The gazebo set into the trees by the river was gorgeous for pictures and the wedding (we even did our engagement photos there!) It's the best package deal!

  After checking out hundreds of venues for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration, we selected the Gruene River Guest House for many reasons!! It had 4 main bedrooms to accommodate us and and our three kids and their spouses. Then it provided a giant bedroom that our 10 grandchildren could enjoy and be comfortable! The main house had a large family area and a perfect kitchen! The covered outdoor kitchen was where we spent a lot of our time! The covered pool allowed use all day long!! The kids enjoyed the tubing in the river a lot!! There is a big yard where ballgames, laser tag, flying drones, and water ballon battles occurred daily!! Also the big parking area allowed all 67 of our Saturday guests a place to park safely and conveniently!!
  Gruene offers lots to do and we had a fun filled, busy week!
  The owners, Lynnae and Jeff became fast friends and they accommodated our every need! They have the place outfitted perfectly from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the outdoor furniture! This place was perfect for our family celebration!

  We take a yearly family vacation - usually to Florida. This year we wanted something closer to home and found the Gruene River Guest House. We were so happy with this choice. Jeff and Lynnae are wonderful hosts and the facilities are just fabulous. We have a large group and everyone had plenty of space and comfort. We actually spent almost every waking hour outside because the outdoor facilities are so great. We recommend this vacation home to everyone and we already have recommended it to several friends who have large family get togethers like we do. If we go back to this area for future vacations we will definitely stay at the Gruene River Guest House!!!

  This location is a dream. Everything about the house, the sweet owner, the beautiful location and especially the outdoor amenities. We had my husband's 30th birthday party here, everyone spent the majority of the time outside which was well lit, awesome outdoor catina with a kitchen, covered tables by the lit up pool....wonderful place to relax and get away from it all!

  My husband and I were married in the gazebo at the Gruene River Guest House on April 28th and it couldn't have been a more amazing day! You couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting with the surrounding lush trees and Guadalupe River in the background...truly breathtaking. From the moment I met Lynnae I felt like we were old friends. She was so very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our weekend stay in the lovely Texas Room and our wedding day was absolutely stress-free & perfect! She was there to meet me the moment I arrived to help me get settled into my room and continued to check in throughout the wedding weekend to see if there was anything I needed or anything she could do. She and her husband Jeff are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and my new husband and I look forward to returning to their beautiful property for another perfect weekend! Thank you Lynnae and Jeff for helping to make this the best day ever!

  I would recommend Gruene River Guest House to anyone looking for a venue with beautiful views and awesome hospitality! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more. Our guests fell in love with the view!

  The setup here is absolutely perfect. Separate quarters, but absolute togetherness. Close to the river plus a private pool. A wonderful outdoor kitchen and loads and loads of outdoor space. Lots of places to take great pictures! Lynnae was awesome. So nice & helpful.

  This was our family's 5th reunion at Gruene River Guest House. (2nd with the Paules). It is a wonderful place and they are delightful to plan your visit with. You will not be disappointed!!
