The Perfect Day!!!

Our wedding at Gruene estate was absolutely perfect. No notes to give! The venue fit my husband and I perfectly and we were lucky to have beautiful weather in December on our day as well! Everything ran smoothly and I was obsessed with how easy it is to decorate the venue with the supplies they have on site! The manager Melinde is awesome and kind, and our coordinator Sydney did an awesome job as well. We wanted a relaxed, and happy day and it was that and more! Thanks GE!!!

We LOVED Gruene Estate so did our guest!

Melendie at Gruene Estate, along with the owners, were so accommodating and thoughtful to my family and I. They played a big role in making our day more stress free and special.
Our guest absolutely couldn't get over how amazing the venue was. We got married April, 29 and it was beautiful. We had 200 guest, all of which had plenty of room. We also had children that were entertained by the outdoor games, and our smores bar. The houses we got dressed in were also beautiful. We just loved the layout of things and couldn't have treated better.
On top of everything else, Gruene is such a cool town, little did I know! This was a destination wedding and our guest and my Husband and I just couldn't have had more fun in Gruene. We did our rehearsal dinner at Grist Mill then danced at Gruene Hall after words. We stayed in local AirBnBs on the river (also perfect), and night of the wedding my husband and I stayed at The Casitas at Gruene, which were lovely as well.
We're so happy for such a wonderful experience and a special wedding. Big thanks to Gruene Estate!

Everything I Dreamed Of

Gruene Estate was absolutely STUNNING! From the moment I saw the venue the first time I knew that it was where we were meant to be married. The team was also fantastic to work with and they made sure our day went off without any issues! We were also able to use their décor inventory and put that budget towards other things that made our day truly special. I loved this venue and couldn't say enough good things about it!

AMAZING--Perfect location for wedding

Oh my gosh...this place is magical!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. This venue is by far the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The wildlife, the accommodations, the view, everything was beyond amazing. Everyone was so helpful, and the wedding of our dreams was executed perfectly. I could not have dreamed of my wedding being at such a wonderful place. We stayed the night at the venue after the wedding, and not only were the houses beautiful, they were so comfortable and such a perfect set up. The event staff ensured the fire pit was lit, the chandelier was beautiful, the wildlife was out during the ceremony... I could just go on and on. I am so thankful that I found this place---to be honest--I wish I could just move there because it is that freaking stunning. I'm already thinking about vow renewals because I love this place so much and want to have another event there again. Melinde is great, the owner came to meet us and he was wonderful, and I just cannot speak more highly of this place!!!

A dream come true!

Beautiful venue.

Stayed the day before and day of wedding at location, definitely recommend If you are having to do decorations yourself. Melinde was a great help before and during process. Venue was the first one we went to look at and I fell in love instantly, venue is absolutely beautiful.

Perfection!

Amazing venue! The day we got engaged we started looking and venues! This was the first one we looked out and nothing could compare! It was an absolutely dream! No need for decorations because the views and the surrounding do the job for you! The houses are site are stunning and so convenient for getting ready! The staff was so nice and accommodating throughout the whole process! I wish I could relieve the day there over and over again! A true dream come true!

The perfect venue

The most BEAUTIFUL venue. I don’t have a single complaint. Everything was perfect!! The people working for the venue made it to where I didn’t lift a finger!! If I needed a drink I had one in less than 5 minutes and if one of my babies were crying they would push them in the stroller. It was the most perfect day at the most perfect place!!!

Best wedding venue!

Gorgeous venue that gives a rustic feeling but can be decorated for any vibe! The staff are all amazing, friendly, accommodating, and most of all very organized. Our wedding went off without any hiccups & came out beautifully! All of our guests had a blast. Definitely recommend this venue 10/10.

Perfect venue!

Gruene Estate is absolutely beautiful but nothing beats the wonder crew the helps it all happen! They are amazing! You can tell everyone who works there truly wants to be there to help. They make a stressful day go by with ease, from making sure you are prepped to walk down the aisle all the way to making sure you don’t forget to eat! The venue will leave you and your guests speechless! If you are worried about the Texas heat ruining your special day, don’t sweat it! It stays at a comfortable temperature under the pavilion. Look no further!! You have found the perfect venue!

Effortless, Taken care of

I struggled hard to find a venue that really fit everything I was looking for until I found Gruene Estate. During my first tour around the property with Melinde I know it was everything I was looking for. Melinde was so incredible from start to finish. She helped answer all of my questions along the way and she facilitated the booking process so flawlessly and with such care and support (not to mention during a pandemic!) After booking and being confident in my decision I was then supported by Carrie who was just as incredible. She continued my planning process and was available to answer all of my questions and provide support along the way to make me feel confident in the success of my wedding day. P.S - hiring Bash Events to facilitate the set up & break down is worth every penny! On my wedding day it was so incredible to step on property and know what to expect down to every last detail. The houses were ready on time, my vendors all arrived, and all details were done to my expectations. The property and houses were cleaned and looked fantastic on the wedding day. My day of coordinator, Courtney executed my event flawlessly and kept things moving on time and kept me informed as to what was next to come. She never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. I am forever grateful for the beautiful experience and wedding that I was able to have at Gruene Estate from start to finish! I am overjoyed at the memories that this venue & their staff will hold in my heart. They helped me create and execute the wedding of my dreams! Thank you Gruene Estate from a very happy bride and now wife!

Covered everything we needed

We held our event at Gruene Estate in November 2020 and were so happy with our decision! They were very helpful and quick to respond throughout the process as well as provided help on the wedding day with coordination. Spectacular Venue

The staff at Gruene Estate are just as wonderful as the venue! And that’s saying a lot because the venue is amazing! They provided a ton of venue information (Including inventory count, table layouts, etc) and plenty of checkin calls prior to our big day. We never felt stressed or concerned. On the day of, they were very hands on and helpful. The venue itself comes with beautiful decorations, signs, candle holders and other items free to use if you want. We got ready in the bridal house and it was spotless clean and made for the most beautiful getting ready pictures. Overall, this is the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen and I’m happy we chose this as for our wedding day.

We booked Gruene Estate for our February 2020 wedding, and it was the best experience ever! We loved that we were able to book the entire venue for the full weekend and have our bridal party stay with us the night before the wedding. We felt welcomed and catered to during the planning process, wedding day, and even days after. The staff, service, and communication were always timely and courteous. A few perks with Gruene Estate were the included decorations and wedding planner. They have a shed of multiple decorations available that you can use for your wedding day, free of charge. They also have an included wedding coordinator that helps plan your wedding day timeline, communicates with all your vendors for you, and is on site the day of. We highly recommend Gruene Estate!

Everything was AMAZING!

We absolutely love Gruene Estate! We fell in love with pictures before even going to see it! It’s even more beautiful in person. This wedding was out of town for us, I couldn’t see us getting married anywhere els. I was a little nervous planning a wedding over emails and over the phone not being able to be there but they were able to do exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t have imagined something more beautiful! Everyone was so amazing and helpful. The open air chapel was absolutely beautiful, Our friends and family haven’t been able to stop talking about the venue. We are so happy we got married at Gruene Estate!

Absolutely the most beautiful venue in the area! Everything from the quaint open air chapel to the spacious reception space, and the historic bridal suite. Best Day Ever ❤️

I was blown away by Gruene Estate. The venue is beautiful and the staff was amazing. When we first met Nolan, he gave us a tour of the place and immediately followed up with available dates. His staff Carey, Courtney and Melinde were amazing and I couldn’t have had my dream wedding without them. The grounds were perfect for an outdoor wedding in early November. We did use the heaters in the pavilion to make the reception cozy and our guests LOVED the s’mores pit! Thank you Gruene Estate for making our day better than I ever thought it could be!

The best venue- hands down.

Gruene Estate is the best and most gorgeous venue you will find in the Hill Country. The chapel makes for some gorgeous photos. The longhorns, horses, and deer were a huge hit with our guests. The overall look of the venue is absolutely perfect for any Texas wedding.

The GE team was quick to respond to all emails quickly. They were accommodating when we needed to do a visit on a Sunday morning. The price of the venue includes tables, chairs, a ton of decor, and the services of a day of coordinator, Carey Millington. Because of the GE team and Carey, our wedding vision became a reality. LITERALLY- not one single thing went wrong on our wedding day.

Another great thing about GE is that you can bring your own vendors. They do provide a list of vendors they've worked with before, but you're not obligated to use them. However, we did end up going with a few of their suggestions because they were great!

Oh, and if you're wondering if you should stay at the historic houses onsite the night before or after you wedding, the answer is yes! They are super cute, clean, and the beds are really cozy. We were so happy to just walk through the fence and be "home" for the night rather than finding our way back to a hotel room.

Breathtaking Venue

Gruene Estate is breathtaking. I knew from the first second I arrived that I would have my wedding here. It is absolutely beautiful and shows how great this area of Texas is. All of our guests complemented the venue and truly enjoyed all of the amenities. I loved the lanterns, votives, and all the decorations they provided. They are always willing to work with you and make sure your day is perfect. I would not change one thing about my wedding because this place create the most magical night for us.

Exceptional Location & Day!

From the first tour walking the grounds with Melinde, our experience with Gruene Estates was exceptional. The property is gorgeous and is a must see in person. Having the wedding and reception in walking distance was great. The chapel is romantic and intimate. We wanted a small family affair for our wedding day and the staff made it happen. Special thank you to Courtney, our fantastic day of coordinator, who embraced our probably odd, relaxed and low-key attitude. She was like a part of our family. Seamless execution in our vision. Plus, we used some of the décor from Gruene for the tables and I loved being able to get ready in the house with my daughters and family. I could not be happier! I highly recommend Gruene Estate if you are looking for a Texas style rustic wedding! The pictures look amazing too! They have a variety of packages to choose from and various price points. Best decision ever!!

Gruene Estate was the absolute best decision we made when it came to where to get married. Everything was on point for how we envisioned our wedding. The bride and groom houses are by far the best thing for getting ready. So comfortable and perfectly placed because I never saw my husband while I was getting ready. The venues natural rustic charm made decorating a breeze and to this day we have had only praises regarding Gruene Estate. I first learned of them from a friend who is having her wedding there too. I am excited to get to enjoy this venue again.

Dream Wedding Venue

My husband and I got married this past Memorial day. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue or team to work with. I was born & raised in upstate New York, my husband and I got engaged in July of 2016 then moved to New Braunfels in October of 2016. One of the reasons we had a lengthy engagement was that we were going back and forth where to have the wedding (NY or TX) but when I saw this venue on The Knot I just knew I had to go and see it for myself. After the tour and meeting the Gruene Estate staff we knew this was where we would say our "I do's" and I was so excited to show my NY friends and family the beautiful place where I call home.

Everything about this venue was absolutely PERFECT! From the breathtaking open air chapel (there's even a church bell to ring after the ceremony!!), the rustic chic bridal suite (perfect for getting ready photos), horses, deer & longhorn (which the children absolutely adored), fire pit & games (great to keep guest busy while taking wedding photos), the list could go on... I am so happy that we chose this as our wedding venue, our guest near or far all fell in love this this place.

Nolan, the General Manager and the Gruene Estate team were on top of everything leading up to our special day making sure everything ran smoothly. Also, Carey with BASH events and Courtney who was assigned to be my day of wedding coordinator took care of EVERYTHING, I seriously did not have to stress about anything because it was already taken care of.

A big thanks to Gruene Estate for making our wedding such a special and memorable day!

Wedding Venue

God truly answered my prayers when I came upon Gruene Estate!! The venue was beyond beautiful and was everything both myself and my honey wanted. All of the staff was so helpful, accommodating, and truly cared about what we wanted as a couple and how we wanted our special day to be. I couldn't be more grateful for all of Nolan's assistance and willingness to work with me and my schedule. The in house wedding planner that Gruene Estate provided upon my booking was also a dream come true, Carey my coordinator was so sweet and helped me more than I could have imagined; especially on my wedding day with all of her staff that were also provided.

June wedding

I got married here June 2019. Carrie my coordinator helped me the entire way, anytime I had a question she was there to help. I am from out of town so having a coordinator made planning so much easier! The venue was gorgeous and I received so many compliments about it being the most beautiful wedding my guests have ever attended. We also rented the houses over night which was one of the main reasons I choose this venue, it was so nice to just walk up to the house and finally be alone with your new spouse. Overall you can’t go wrong with Gruene Estate, I am so glad I choose them!

Loved Every Minute

Loved having our special day at Gruene Estates!! The entire process of planning was a breeze with the wedding coordinator. The day of our wedding there was a huge rain storm and the coordinator did an amazing job of insuring the party stayed on schedule. They continued to check in with us throughout the entire day and even after our wedding, they touched base to insure we had the best day ever. Which we did :)

Beautiful Farmhouse Style Gruene Wedding

This venue was perfect for my husband and I to say "I do" and celebrate with our friends and family! We loved not only the setup, atmosphere, and design, but the price, too! Most beautiful venue

Gruene Estates was the most beautiful venue. They were so amazing to work with. They were with me every step of the way. The day of coordinator not only helped me the day of, but throughout the wedding planning process. The getting ready cottages were just perfect. We all had plenty of room to spread out all of our stuff and get ready and the hairdressers had a perfect place to plug in all of the curling irons and things. I would recommend this venue to any bride!

Stunning Venue

We held our wedding on December 1, 2018 at Gruene Estate. The venue was perfect for our large group of family and friends. We had 250 guests who all loved the setting, the decor and the convenience of having a chapel and reception venue in such close proximity. The Bride loved the guest houses that allowed her and her bridesmaids to get ready on the day of without having to travel or worry. Carey was amazing on the day of the event, and was instrumental in keeping things calm and organized during our celebration. Seeing some of the pictures confirms that this was our perfect venue on the perfect day.

It’s the best, most helpful staff and prettiest location for the money you will pay! I planned my wedding from out of state and it was a dream working with everyone at GE.

This venue has decor you can use and a well planned pavilion for the reception! I was concerned about having an outdoor wedding because I have family members that struggle moving around but they had zero problems! GE even offered to take people in their golf cart! I looked at several places in the area but none offered the amenities and ease that GE did.

My husband and I got married this year at Gruene Estates Saturday, September 22, 2018. I had the greatest experience with this venue not only because of the beautiful hill country view but also because of the incredible staff and team they have at this property. The coordinators were always so quick to help me with anything that I needed and made sure that our day ran perfectly. One of my best friends is a wedding coordinator in the DFW area and helped the day of my wedding. She told me that she has never worked with a venue that was so quick to help with anything needed the day of the wedding. This venue has all hands on deck and I would recommend this place to any and all of my family and friends. I can promise you if you are looking for the perfect place to fit your rustic outdoor hill country wedding this place is the venue of your dreams. Okay, Gruene Estate was everything I could have imagined and more. The venue is placed on this beautiful piece of land with deer, horses and longhorn. The open air chapel has such an intimate feel that was perfect for our wedding! I could not be more pleased with no only the venue its self, but also the whole staff. From the day I went to tour the venue they were more than willing to help and work with me to make out wedding the most perfect day, and they did an AMAZING job. I was so relaxed on my wedding day because I knew our day of coordinator would be able to take care of anything that needed done! I HIGHLY recommend Gruene Estate to any and every bride!

My husband and I were married at Gruene Estate in June and it was absolutely perfect! We wanted a very laid back, stress free, fun wedding and that is exactly what we got. We live a couple hours away and knew it would be somewhat of a destination for many of our friends and family. We had a shorter 6 month engagement but the Gruene Estate team was very helpful in our planning and suggesting the perfect local vendors for our big day! They setup conference calls with us, made sure we knew exactly what decorations were available, help us develop our wedding details and timeline, and gave us many ideas/ tips through the process.
They day of the wedding was very stress free, decorating went smoothly, and our onsite coordinator was on top of everything! The décor, farm tables, animals, yard games, stunning chapel, church bells, & chandeliers all helped perfectly capture the Texas summer ambience we envisioned. We got to sit back and enjoy the beautiful house and venue with all our loved ones. We chose to get married on a Friday night and our guests absolutely loved the Gruene Estate atmosphere and they still got to experience a full New Braunfels/ Gruene weekend. We got so many compliments! And we cannot wait to plan anniversary weekends in Gruene, reminisce about our big day, and visit the place that will always be so special to us, Gruene Estates!

The venue is gorgeous and perfect for a classic Texas wedding - being able to get ready in the onsite cottages is great, and the venue comes with an amazing coordinator who handles every detail of your day! We had a perfect time with Gruene Estate!

Nolan, Carey, and the rest of the staff at Gruene Estate made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. I did not have to worry about anything the whole day, as everything was perfect and punctual. In the time leading up to the wedding, they stayed in constant communication with me. The staff at Gruene Estate greatly surpassed any and all expectations we had. I will forever appreciate all the hard work they put in to our special day.

I had my wedding at Gruene Estates in May 2018 and absolutely loved it. 2 things really sold me about this venue:
1. The beautiful intimate chapel with gorgeous stained glass and plants and flowers growing all around it. Up a short path is a covered pavilion with beautiful farmhouse tables. It was so naturally beautiful that no tablecloths and very little decorations were needed which saved us in our budget.
2. There are 2 paint horses, several deer and longhorns, in a pasture next to the chapel and pavilion. We were married as dusk and this all made for stunning pictures.
This was unmatched by any other venues I reviewed.
On top of the beautiful property, the coordinators with the venue, Carey and Stephanie, were fantastic. They are so easy to work with and it’s clear they really care about brides and grooms! Stephanie was our day-of coordinator and was incredibly attentive and on top of every detail.
We had so much fun! This was our perfect Texas wedding!

We could not have asked for a better wedding experience with Gruene Estate! Our day was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. It was so helpful to have a day of wedding coordinator to work with before the wedding and the day of, and to have decorations on hand at the venue. We also loved the charm of the chapel with the stained glass, and all of the outdoor areas. We were able to be relaxed yet have a beautiful wedding at the same time.

Gruene Estates was the absolute most perfect venue for a wedding!! Our wedding coordinator, Carey, was hands down unbelievable!! She helped me to coordinate all the details to make it truly stress free on the day of the wedding! I was able to relax and totally enjoy it and the venue has something for every age, every personality. Everyone had such a fantastic time and I could not have asked for a more perfect day!!!! The scenery is so rustic, yet elegant...an absolute perfect paradise for any wedding style! Every detail fell into place and was better than I even imagined or to be!!! Gruene Estate is/was an absolute dream venue! I looked at so many other venues before seeing Gruene Estate and when we saw it for the first time me and my fiancé looked at each other with tears in our eyes because we knew instantly that we had found our place. The staff is AMAZING and the houses and grounds are gorgeous! Carrie helped us day of and I couldn’t have asked for better help that day! She was the best day of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly! I have zero complaints about this place we didn’t want to leave! I would give Gruene Estate 10/10 rating if I could! Planning a wedding in 6 months seemed a little hectic, but from day one they were very responsive, helpful and straight forward. The day of coordinator that they offer really helps a lot & any questions were answered in a very timely manner. We were looking for a very laid back venue that could accommodate our families & it was more than we ever expected. The chapel and reception area were beautiful & the in-house decor really gave it that extra touch. We are so happy that we chose Gruene Estate & would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a more personal, laid back (if you want), and gorgeous venue.

Gruene Estate is a beautiful location! We only rented out the chapel for the ceremony and had our reception elsewhere. Our ceremony was PERFECT! Our guests especially loved the 2 steers and stained glass.

Everyone I talked to on the Gruene Estate team was professional and was timely with their responses. Nolan was on site with us the day of and made sure we had the perfect day. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day than ours at Gruene Estate. The day went perfectly and all of the staff was there every step of the way to make sure we were taken care of. Our day-of coordinator was so helpful and I am so glad that a coordinator was included in the cost of the venue. Our guests keep talking about our wedding day constantly because they had the best time and couldn't believe we had found such an adorable venue.
We were lucky and had the venue for the whole weekend (they only allow this once a month so if you can, jump on it!) and the newly remodeled house was SO CUTE. The beds were so comfortable I wish I could have taken them home.
Thanks again so much to Gruene Estate for making our day the best.... if we could we would come back and get married again and again.

Choosing Gruene Estate for our wedding was a major reason that we look back on that day with such wonderful memories of how happy our guests were, how happy WE were, and some seriously gorgeous photos. This venue is the perfect Texas backdrop if you're looking for a laid back, rustic wedding that still provides a terrific canvas to dress it up or dress it down depending on the kind of wedding you're planning. The flexibility when it comes to choosing vendors was one of the major reasons I was drawn to holding the wedding here, as I began my planning while living out of state and hadn't moved to Texas yet. I needed some wiggle room for a lot of items, as certain things - like catering, DJ, and photographer - took a little longer as I couldn't meet with vendors as fast as someone that was in town. I appreciated the support of the staff at the venue, and I LOVE that they provide a day of coordinator. That took so much stress away and let me really enjoy the wedding with my new husband and friends/family that came to Texas to be a part of our wedding! The venue is stunning, the longhorns are THE BEST, and I wouldn't change one thing about our day. It's no surprise at all that this place is becoming so popular. Our guest were almost all from out of town and out of state, and what we wanted the most was to showcase everything we love about our new town. Mission accomplished.

Gruene Estate is truly a magic spot for a wedding. From the stained glass windows of the chapel to the horses in the pasture and even to the cozy cottages where you get ready, everything is perfect. The beauty of the space is only emphasized by how wonderful the people working there are. Not only did they hold our hands throughout this whole process, but they also made us feel comfortable and free enough to be ourselves on our day. We had so much to worry about, but they made sure that behind the scenes was seamless enough for us to actually take a moment and truly enjoy the day and each other. We're so thankful we chose to have our wedding there and even more grateful for everything they did to make it happen!

We were over the moon with our experience at Gruene Estate for our wedding. Everything from the fairy tail chapel to the open-air reception pavilion to the perfectly timed arrival of longhorns on site added up to make the perfect wedding day for my groom and me. One of the most valuable assets Gruene Estate offers its brides is a day-of coordinator who assists with all the fine details, ensuring that not only I was able to relax on my wedding day, but my family and friends were able to as well. My mother-in-law says it was the best weekend of her life and I couldn't agree more. We would 100% select this venue again. This venue had EVERYTHING I ever wanted and dreamed of for our fairytale wedding!! They have all the decorations you'll need and the wedding coordinator they provide is beyond helpful! I planned my entire wedding out of town and I couldn't have been any happier!! The Chapel is breathtaking and the pavilion exceeded all my expectations!! Not to mention the fire pit and corn hole boards available! I got married in April and our relatives are still talking about it!! I can't say enough amazing things about this place!! We are even thinking about renting the venue for renewing of vows!! If you're looking for a rustic country style wedding this venue is the ONLY way to go!

Carey was great at helping me plan, recommending vendors and sorting out the small details. Gruene Estate is a wonderful, beautiful, and breathtaking venue with the most helpful staff. There is many packages and amenities to choose from. We were able to stay the whole weekend, on-site, with our bridal party and groomsmen. The ease and grace from the staff on the day of the wedding was nothing short of amazing. There are many vendors to choose from, a cute photo booth that can be added, and a serving area. But the most amazing part of the whole venue is the chapel. Goodness. If you have not seen this chapel in person, you have to go! If you want a gorgeous outdoor wedding, Gruene Estate is the place to be. Every staff person we worked with was more than accommodating. We will be dreaming of our wedding day for years to come. All thanks to the staff and gorgeous venue.

Our guests cannot stop talking about the venue we chose! GE was the first place that we viewed when looking for a venue for the wedding and we really could have just decided in that first moment but my (at the time) fiance wanted to make sure we at least looked at other places. We only saw two other places before we realized we were just wasting time. Let me also say that we saw the venue in Jan and were married by March. With such a small window of time there are a million things that could have gone wrong or were missed and there was nothing! Responses were always timely and with a smile. The venue is so beautiful on it's own it doesn't need much which is amazing because it not only saves on thinking about decor but it's also saves on expense. They also provide a shed full of items that can be used at no additional cost, another big money saver. When all is said and done the beauty, charm and everything about this place is a win! Our special day felt like a fairy tale because everything about this place was perfect!

Because this venue has become so popular, they are booked up far in advance and are strict on time. They are a bit pricey, but for what the venue includes (ceremony/reception location, getting ready spots, rustic decor, fire pit) and how beautiful a setting it makes naturally, we couldn't imagine choosing any other venue. Gruene Estate management is very professional and easy to work with. If you're looking for a Hill Country, down-to-earth vibe with elegance, this is the place for you.

If you are on the fence about choosing this venue for your wedding or event - look no more. The Historic Gruene Estate is truly awesome. It is beautiful and looks even better in person than it does online. The facilities are really nice and everything was very well taken care of and clean. We were so impressed with everything. I would encourage you to go check it out in person and meet the staff. Nolan and his wife Katherine (who run the venue) are the sweetest people. They took such good care of us and made sure every need and want was taken care of! I would recommend this venue to anyone! Not only is the venue breathtaking, but it has the most gracious people working there. From the moment we signed the contract to the last minute of our reception, everyone was willing to help and guide us in the direction that we envisioned for our wedding day. Carey was amazing with helping on the day of and suggesting vendors when we were unsure. Since we live in Houston and were married in Gruene, there were a lot of questions on how the day would flow and who would be best suited for the day. Carey, alongside the other employees, were quick to respond when we needed help and always offered to make life easier for us. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't change a thing about the venue, location, or value of what all Gruene Estates has to offer.

If you are looking for the most beautiful, reliable and fun venue, you should have your wedding at The Gruene Estate. The staff was so accommodating and always kept us on the same page. Sharon, Carey and Nolan are truly the wedding dream team. The bridal and groomsmen suites are fantastic and so perfect for photos. I cannot explain how please we were with this venue and team!

This venue is magical! My daughter recently had her wedding here and people are still talking about it! When you have a venue with this much natural beauty surrounding it, it's almost effortless to have a perfect day. From grounds to staff, it was a perfect day! Robbin in Round Rock, Tx.

This venue exceed my expectations and made my day absolutely perfect. The grounds were impeccable and the staff was aiming to work with and very very accommodating. I would highly recommend this venue to any new bride. Trust me, your day will be perfect!

Gruene Estates is a perfect location for a wedding as the chapel, pavilion and two houses are all within walking distance. Both the house and cottage accommodate at least 10 guests overnight and can be booked in addition to the church and pavilion, . The booking comes with the service of a planner who provides a vendor list and creates the time line for the event. She is there to assist you with your requests from the time of the booking to the day of the event and she is extremely helpful. The longhorns, horses and deer on the premises adds an element of natural beauty. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who enjoys the serenity of nature.

The Gruene Estate venue and cottages was by far one of the best decisions I made while planning mine and my now husbands wedding. We recently were married in April of 2016. The team at Gruene Estate were very quick to respond and answer any questions I had along the way. We had the opportunity of having the onsite wedding planner which made our wedding day stress free and everything went accordingly to our timeline. There are not enough words show express how thankful me and my husband are for the wonderful team at Gruene Estate! The venue is rustic, country, and is definitely a hidden jewel in the hill country! We loved everything about our wedding Weekend and are so thankful for the great staff at Gruene Estate!

This venue has everything we wanted. Quaint personalized charm. Heart-warming and considerate managers. Gorgeous property with some historic flare. They even provided a day of coordinator which was a God-send! The buildings on site were perfect. The open-air chapel had our guests RAVING, and the reception area fit all our needs and then some. We had about 200 guests, and it was simply perfect. It's over a month past and wedding guests are still contacting us telling us it was the most beautiful venue/wedding they've been to.

Gruene Estate was the absolute PERFECT scene for our wedding weekend. Me and my entire bridal party were able to stay at the houses from Friday to Sunday. It was so convenient and made the whole experience even better and more special. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to stay the whole weekend. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue on Friday and not have to worry about leaving. It's extra helpful that you are able to do whatever you want in terms of food, music, flowers, alcohol, etc. It's much easier (and cheaper) to be able to pick your own vendors and not have to choose from a provided list. The decorations that are included in the price were perfect for our country chic theme and we barely had to do any extra work to decorate the pavilion. The tables, chairs, decorations, and other small details about the venue were seriously so amazing, who would want to cover them up with linens or extra decor?! Not to mention, the overall scene (open chapel and field, the rustic look of everything) was absolutely breathtaking. The ONLY downfall to the whole weekend was at the last minute, we were told we couldn't have a fire outside because of a burn ban. We were truly disappointed because one of the reasons we picked the location was because of the beautiful fire pit. However, if that was the only thing that went wrong, we were okay with that!
After our wedding was over, they allowed us to have a good amount of our friends and family stay later and continue the party near the houses. They never once disturbed us and we were able to enjoy our wedding night with the most important people into the morning! I knew if I needed anything or had questions, Katherine was just a text/email away. She was super helpful and responsive throughout the whole process and helped me feel at ease. I could go on and on but I would HIGHLY recommend having your special day at Gruene Estate! We truly had the most beautiful day. Happy planning!

This Venue is absolutely perfect, the pictures do not do it justice! It is definitely worth the money if you use it the entire weekend to stay there! It has the cutest little houses and was perfect for all of us! We loved it! The Chapel where the ceremony is held is just breathtaking everyone could not stop talking about it. The pavilion is completely perfect, rustic chic, it hardly needs any decorations. I would recommend everyone to this website! The hosts are so accommodating and helpful in any possible way!

I looked HIGH and LOW all over the Hill Country for the perfect wedding venue for my fiance and I. Once I found Gruene Estate, I knew I had found the perfect place for us...and I was so right. Mother Nature set the perfect scene and naturally directed us toward our color palette. There was already seating, so I didn't need to worry about rentals.
A large portion of our guests were arriving from out of state, so I wanted them to have a very Texas experience. Oh my gosh...I'm still receiving so many compliments on the wedding, the venue, and New Braunfels (lots of great places to watch Saturday College Football before a 6:30 wedding!)
I had a longer than I wanted engagement, but that was only due to my knowing Gruene Estate was the venue for us and worth waiting for an open date...and I definitely could use the time to plan.
My wedding day was simple and stunning. It's not often you can put those two words together and it truly mean something beautiful. I highly recommend Gruene Estate as a wedding and reception venue. We also rented the cottages for the weekend which made life much easier on us!

From rustic beauty to country charm Gruene Estate has it all! The chapel with its stain glass windows, the reception area with its rustic wood tables and chairs and the beautiful grounds to include a fire pit makes this venue a perfect place to have your wedding! If your able to rent the cottages it will complete the whole package. They are beautifully decorated and add to the charm of this venue.

The staff is very helpful and great to work with! This venue even has decorations you can use if you chose, to help keep the cost down and keep the rustic charm alive.

Many of our guest have commented on how beautiful the venue is and many are keeping it in mind for future weddings and/ or events.

I would highly recommend this venue!

The Gruene Estate is the best possible venue in Texas. The chapel and pavilion are so perfect! The staff is wonderful and the guests loved the quaint location! I wouldn't have changed my venue choice at all! Loved the rustic yet elegant feel! Totally worth the cost to have everything all in one location!

Wow, Gruene Estate is absolutely perfect! I can't imagine our day being any more perfect than it was! Katherine was so patient with my thousands of questions! All of our guests were in love with this place just as I was when I first saw it. It is a beautiful and comfortable venue! I really like that they didn't have a vendor list that you have to go by, they have suggestions but you get to completely customize your day however you like! They even provide awesome decorations that really go with the venue. Thank y'all for helping make our wedding perfect!

Everyone at the venue was awesome!! Kathryn the owner was always fast with responses to any questions I had and let me come see the venue as many times as I needed :) Sharon was alway there to meet with us and answer any questions and was very knowledgable and professional. The coordinators and Sharon went above and beyond in helping clean up after the event... I was so thankful that I was allowed to finally relax and enjoy myself and they took care of all of the nights details ? we got soooo many compliments that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding our guests had ever been to! I highly recommend booking then entire weekend... It really gave us the chance to spend quality time with our loved ones? our wedding day was more than I ever could have imagined thanks to the staff who have made Gruene Estate a truely unique setting and experience! Travis and I can't imagine having our rehearsal/dinner, wedding, and reception anywhere other than Gruene Estate! This was the first, and only place we looked at when choosing our venue. The owner Katherine and her team, including the wonderful Sharon made our special day and the months leading up to it a breeze. The entire staff is personable,flexible,punctual, and willing to answer any questions one may have. Gruene Estate is magical and just breathtaking. It was so convenient having the chapel, the cottages, and pavilion all within walking distance of each other. The layout and the decor(which is provided) couldn't be more elegant! Everyone made our day so special, including the painted horses and longhorns. We highly recommend Gruene Estate for any special event!

Gruene Estate made our wedding absolutely perfect! From the moment we visited GE we fell in love. Katherine and her team were very organized & easy to work with, they answered every question we had in a timely manner which made the planning process a breeze. We rented the property from Fri-Sun which was wonderful for set up & had a family breakfast & opened gifts the morning after. Gruene Estate truly made our wedding perfect. All of our guests loved the venue and are still talking about how beautiful everything was! I would recommend this venue for any bride!

What an amazing place this was! The owners and property manager/team were incredible to work with and super responsive from the time I was just gathering information all the way through the event! The property and venue are fantastic on their own but the staff and service level made it just perfect for the type of event we wanted. I never had a question go unanswered and in the days leading up to the wedding, our property manager, Sharon, was right there to help with anything we needed, answer last minute questions, show us the ropes, etc... I really couldn't ask for more and can't say enough good things about this place...it was just perfect!!

Words cannot describe how perfect Nolan and Katherine and the staff made my wedding weekend. No detail was overlooked. They were all flexible and accommodating to any and all of my requests through out the entire process. There was nothing that they could not fulfill. Everything ran so smoothly the night of the wedding and I was having so much fun that before I knew it the night was over! I wouldn't have had it any other way and I'm so grateful that they made it so easy for me. I have had people constantly calling me, my parents, and my husbands parents telling them how absolutely perfect the wedding was and that they have never been to a more fun, well put together, and beautiful wedding in all of their lives! What a compliment that is to me as the bride and I couldn't have done it without everyone at Gruene Estate! Reserving the entire place for the whole weekend is absolutely the way to go. We had the venue from Friday evening to Sunday morning which allowed us to have the rehearsal dinner there as well. This made things so incredibly easy. The venue is the most beautiful place for a vintage country chic wedding and I will remember this perfect day for forever! Top of the line service for sure.

The place was amazing. Everything was amazing. It went smooth and perfect. All my questions were answered. We were taking care of and I loved the cabin. If I had to do it again they would definitely be my number one choice.

My husband and i absolutely loved Gruene Estates! Not only is the venue amazing but Katherine and all the other employees who helped make our day special, were absolutely outstanding! Everyone was super sweet. Our guests as well loved the atmosphere at our wedding and the location of the venue. Katherine was great at e-mailing/texting/calling within that same day if i ever had questions. Overall we are so blessed to have had our wedding at Gruene Estates I could not have imagined it anywhere else!

I am SO thrilled that my husband and I chose Gruene Estate as the venue for our wedding. It was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives and the Gruene Estate staff and beauty of the venue had a huge role to play in making that happen. I can't even count how many of our guests told me that our wedding was the most beautiful one they had ever been to. Katherine and Nolan are extremely easy to work with and were always quick to respond to all the questions I had leading up to our big day. We also saved a lot of money because Gruene Estate provides so many beautiful decorations and allows you to pick your own vendors. They are also prepared for any and all weather conditions so, even though there was rain in the forecast for our wedding day, I wasn't worried at all about it putting a damper on anything. It really is a no brainer...pick Gruene Estate!
